Manchester United vs Real betis was a boring game for me. I expected Real Betis to try to get goals and fight to remain in the Champions league but obviously Manchester United are just too strong for them and United won in the second leg to seal their place in the next rounds of the tournament.

I predict a lot of goals in this match because I think Real Betis will put up a fight sadly no they don't score
I lost my parlay only in this match even though the other matches were as predicted.
By the way it wasn't Porto that beat Arsenal but it was Sporting CP , yes it's a shame Arsenal got knocked out.
Real Betis could not entertain their fans at their home stadium. A game with many saved attempts would have been better than their boring game that ended in conceding one more goal. I was expecting a very difficult moment for Manchester United but Betis gave Manchester a more easy entry into the quarter finals.

With the way they held a draw against Villarreal and Madrid this season in the Laliga, i thought it would have been even hotter for Manchester in the second leg at least a fight to remain in the competition but they blew the chance away. It is another big level up for Manchester United.

I doesn't happen in all weekends i have traded BTC/USD on a weekend and the market was still has volatile has it was during week days. Maybe you might have meet the market in some of the weeks where crypto activities reduces or maybe the market has lesser trading volume but in general the crypto market is open 24 hours and if the big companies closes before weekends individual traders still keep the market busy.

Man City have been building their squad and spending money year after year just so they could compete well in both leagues. You can't really say which team has a better form since City also defeated Arsenal in their last match. We'll see how things go from here but my point remains that 5 points ahead with 11 games left doesn't make the Gunners too far ahead. They could also choke. Remember that they are also competing in the Europa League and that could affect their squad too.

Yeah City still have chance if Arsenal's from crumbles but so far they have been consistent. What City need is consistent form and hoping for Arsenal to drop points and what Arsenal need is only consistent form so its City on the bitter end but yeah chances are there still. City are going in for CL also - a trophy they have been searching for so far so its not like its the Arsenal only with Europa games in the mid-week. It's a tough spot but it would lot depend on how their managers manage in these games.
You mean City will have to wait for Arsenal to lose point so they can build up from there?. With Arteta pressure in the PL i don't see Arsenal losing points that much this season again not after Jesus recovery. As for the premier league title i think Pep should better forget about it and focus on the Champions League where the have been doing excellently well.

Man U probably settled everything with Betis in the first match and will play comfortable football today... It seems to me that even if Betis can win, scoring 3 goals will definitely not work... You could say that Man U will play in the next round...
MU feels so confidence to face the next match against betis. I meant MU has been leading with three goals against betis. I see no reason for MU to lose caused by even though MU was playing away but three goals are a lot for me to be honest.
Learned from the previous match if MU was able to win against barcelona by played away makes me feel so confidence to see MU will be qualified for the last 8 of europa league soon.

Let's say bye for pellegrini. This coach was so garbage could try to put respect into the most competitive league in the world.
It is a safe game for Manchester United now but i think the need to be more defensive this time because three goals is not too much for Betis to score in their home stadium against Manu but the possibility of this happening is still very slim, Notwithstanding this is football and things can change if Liverpool could score 7 anything is still possible tonight.

306  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 15, 2023, 05:08:38 PM
When it comes to family members i don't lend out money to them i simply give out what i can afford to spare at that time i also do same to close friends and mark it as a support to such member. Lending money to family members has scattered long existing bonds and relationship. It is better to help if one can than to lend out on the grounds of getting the help back. Even if i agree to lend out i make sure it is an amount i can afford to lose should in case it doesn't return back.

Lol Liverpool can win of course but still I don't see them qualifying to next round. Madrid can not be that relent to allow Liverpool score them 3+ goals when they are still on pitch playing. It's is possible for Liverpool to win with either 1 or 2 goals difference. And if I may ask you... Who says Madrid doesn't care about winning laliga? Or you're just presuming?
Which is my own thought as well. I mean if Liverpool had left the game in 2-3 defeat it would have been realistic to do a comeback but its  a whopping 2-5 loss. Like having Liverpool winning 3+ goals in Bernabeu no thats not realistic and completely impossible. Liverpool should just focus on finishing in the top 4 of the premier league so they can try again next season.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 15, 2023, 04:22:16 PM
It's fact a team cannot perform at its best if important players are injured. However, in the case of Arsenal, they were fortunate enough to have quality replacements who stepped up. Despite the absence of Jesus, Arsenal managed to hold their own position and perform well. The good news is that Jesus is set to make a comeback before the end of March. With his return, hopefully there's no way Arsenal will lose the title to Man City. At the moment, Arsenal are in a really good place with a lot of confidence. I still think Man City will chase them until the very last day of the Premier League. However, I am confident that Arsenal will ultimately succeed in winning the league title this season.
Since injured over FIFA World Cup 2022 from January, seems Arsenal doesn't any impact yet losing Gabriel Jesus in starting eleven and last match he has return back to the team and played well left 25 minutes as reserve player. But with  Gabriel Jesus give more alternative scheme and strategies for Mikel Arteta actually next Friday against Sporting Lisbon on UEFA Europe League second leg.

Potential up coming two games later in Primer League will not change with current standing position because Arsenal against Crystal Palace and Leeds United before big match against Liverpool. Arsenal more confidence right now behind 5 points left with Manchester City and several matches left from Arsenal against bigger team on matchday 33 and matchday 34.
Arsenal might not have dropped much points following G. Jesus absence due to the injury he sustained during the world cup. But their overall performance saw a steep decline following his absence. Nkitia and Trossard are not doing as much as what G. Jesus did before the Injury.

G. Jesus return should strengthen the team further and also improve their remaining games because Jesus is one team player who don't mind creating chances for other attackers even as a top 9 that he is. Crystal palace and Leeds should be a walk over

The Europa league is the most difficult to predict who wins the final and which two teams will make it to the finals. Manchester is now the only team who have made their second leg in the round of 16 an easy one. For Leverkusen, As Roma,  Juventus and Sevilla anything can happen in the second leg while Arsenal, Berlin, fayenoord the game can go either way. United might play in the final with the way the Europa competition is going
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 14, 2023, 08:29:47 PM
What matters is money management, strategy, patience, emotional control and risk control. If a beginner can manage all this they can venture into future trading and still make good profit from it. Future trading and spot trading can be traded by anyone the difference in result  is attributed to  how much knowledge they have gathered and how the can tackle the market pressure knowing when to buy, sell , exit and avoid the market.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you Think might aid the global adoption of Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2023, 08:19:21 PM
Nayib Bukele only promoted Bitcoin and never enforced it on El Salvador. Although his experimentation on Bitcoin as legal tender failed due to the declining market but yet the US Dollar was also adopted along side Bitcoin as legal tender abandoning their local currency the  colón. Which gave its citizens two choices to make either spend their Dollar or spend their Bitcoin equally on any commodity. I am thinking the enticing offer of Bitcoin lured the citizens.

Bitcoin been a legal tender or an investment offer cannot make the world adopt it as a global currency. Not when they cannot control your funds. El Salvador felt Bitcoin could salvage their dieing economy. And since El Salvador experimentation didn't work out many nations will see it as a reason not to look at Bitcoin as a legal tender
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: March 14, 2023, 07:56:14 PM
Losses has the best format to teach both money management and risk control. Profit for a newbie is like a blind folder. It builds confidence for massive loss in the future. Most of my strategies was perfected during my losses because i saw what wasn't working for me and it helped me improve on what did work. If there are no losses there will never be a better understanding on how currencies move both in forex and crypto.

No matter how we try to account for how much we spend on gambling it is always hard to spend within our limit just that what makes the difference is the extent everyone within the gambling cycle goes about theirs. Regret is for the weak as well, I never regret any amount i gamble with. If i begin to gamble out of control i try avoiding anything bet until i subject that urge to my own will
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 12, 2023, 08:27:03 PM
Arsenal did very pleasingly today and it's been the talk of today, the performance of Arsenal this days is absolutely okay and I think Arsenal will take the cup this season, no doubt.
For Arsenal to win against Fulham  3:0 it's a good metier.
Although Fulham tried there best on the game
Not only the game today, they have won all of their last 5 Premier League games. Thats now a 5 point lead for Manchester City and with Haaland, the best striker in the team for many years. His 28 goals in 26 games are not enough for City. There are 11 matchdays left, so 33 possible points. Maybe we could bet that 7-8 wins would be enough for Arsenal to be the Champion. There are still a few weeks to go, see how it looks at the end of March.
Arsenal are now the most consistent team in the premier league this season with the highest number of won games. They are now 11 games away from claiming the league title. They might not need to win all 11 to win the league because Manchester City who is their biggest contender are still unpredictable. But i think with Arteta's strategy and G. Jesus recovery winning the 11 games seems possible.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the last chance to exchange stablecoins for Bitcoin on: March 11, 2023, 08:40:13 AM
The price of Bitcoin often stayed between 22k and 25k for a long time.  But since then the price has been much lower.  Nowadays many people are afraid to invest.  Bitcoin market is down now so now is the right time to convert stubble coins to bitcoins.  Bitcoin price is now at $20,404 and Bitcoin price is likely to move lower.
It just two months since Bitcoin stayed between 22k and 25k so it is not long yet. March seems to have a different market structure but yet not enough to conclude it will be the last chance to swap from stable coin to Bitcoin. As far as the market keeps having engagements opportunities will always surface at various stages. Even if this might be the last time we will see Bitcoin at $20k this year if it ever happens there will always be newer opportunities.
316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 11, 2023, 08:10:25 AM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.
Some kids at 10 are more matured psychologically than kids at 14-18 years. Once a child is eager to learn i believe it is wise to teach them else they will learn it from a random source and what most parents will be scared will happen while hoarding the knowledge from their kids will eventually happen.

Trading at an early age with close monitoring, mentorship and guidance will prepare the child well for the future. First the kids will learn to be independent at early age and secondly they will master the act early if well tutored, because at that age money is not necessarily their concern the just want the knowledge.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will (probably) go lower. on: March 11, 2023, 07:41:39 AM
But my opinion is that right now it's not the best time to buy bitcoin and it will go lower because of some reasons. The main reasons for me are that the inflation is still too high, the economy is suffering and rates are still high. There is also a statistical fact that all previous times when FED pivots happened, the economy dipped even lower and found a new bottom. We still didn't see this fallout so it's safe to assume that it's coming.
Latest statistics also showed that inflation is higher than expected and FED could start hiking rates once again.

My advice will be to wait until FED will start lowering rates which will mean that the economy will start recovering and money will flow into crypto and bitcoin.

Anyway, keep safe and don't panic, we will get through it. Grin
What if more people still hold during the high inflation. Despite the population suffering in every economy there are still thousands who live comfortably. Don't forget inflation is manmade. The little amount we retail investors own is not enough to decide the direction of the market. In previous times the FED pivot could affect the market because the trend was in sync with the interest rates on reserve, interest rate target, bank rate and everything else. But i doubt such will repeat it self in this current investment year. Currently price has bounced back above $20k
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 11, 2023, 07:01:57 AM
Damn i really cant believe that Bochum managed to win in Cologne after they lost against Schalke last weekend.
I just have seen the review and looks like it was an interesting game between both teams.
Sadly i placed my bet on a win for Cologne as i thought they will made it at home.
I think maybe there are many out there who have lost bets in this match. if you look at FC Koln who is not having a very good performance so playing as a home must suffer this defeat and get no points in today's match, Bochum is a good team. Even though they often lose. because they often make mistakes themselves. Their front line was very aggressive and able to create many chances in every game, in the 9th minute Bochum opened their first goal through a penalty and Bochum was able to score another goal in the second half, the score was 0 - 2 until the end of the match. both of them played very fiercely.
Making predictions between two bottom table teams can be so frustrating. Both teams are in their worst performance this season and knowing which team will win is very difficult. Imagine Bochum who have lost 4 straight games and playing away, no one will expect them to win Koln at home but they did it. I avoid betting on Bottom table games when they play amongst themselves.

......
Don't forget education can either be formal or informal so in what ever one does education cannot be neglected. It takes an educated person be it formal or informal to understand how to exchange goods and services for money, manage business and money, Not prone to been cheated and understand new innovation as regard the business and service that brings in the money. Education is key to any successful venture and it must not be formal, but formal education still has bigger advantage over none formal education
320  Other / Archival / Re: Moderators trimmed the post counter on: March 10, 2023, 08:19:31 AM

I think I have seen my post count shrink with 6 posts, which isn't a big deal for me at all, but I was wondering, how does one end up with an inaccurate post count?

- There are a few rare mod/admin actions which change your real number of posts but neglect to update your post count.
- Errors can occur which can cause it to drift from the real value.
- If your account is fairly old, then previous post-count recounts will have counted your MOVED: redirection topics, even though these are not counted when you make them. I fixed it this time so that these topics are not counted, undoing the previous erroneous recounts.

If this occurs then a notification should be sent to the user to avoid unnecessary worries. As mods/admins recounts posts and it happens the real number of posts doesn't tally with the present post count the user should at least get notified of new changes and why the ended up with new values in their post count because some times i wake up to see my post count reduced but yet no notification and i wonder what post was actually deleted or moved.
