301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the current status of Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2019, 06:21:47 PM
They say bitcoin has greatly lost confidence. But let's face it, is it better to have bankers who print dollars that are not backed up by anything? Bitcoin even has a mathematical formula, but the issue of fiat funds cannot be called completely satisfying the needs of society. Everyone was interested in the game - they give us paper money so that we spend more, create debts and print money again. Maybe it's time to become wiser and invest in technology? Finally, I see that cryptocurrencies are valued positively in Europe
Now, bankers will say no, we do not support bitcoins, and they themselves will actively try to understand the technology for issuing cryptocurrency. They have no other chance to become part of the community and offer alternative coins to stay afloat. Look for the motives of people, they are hidden, but you should think in a category that is beneficial for the economy. And digital currencies, which also coexist with new technologies, are needed by every country.
Banks will have to adapt to cryptocurrency, because people often start asking questions about who controls inflation, and there are doubts about how beneficial it is to keep fiat in a bank account. And when institutional investors enter the cryptocurrency, confidence in digital currencies will quickly increase.

Banks are just trying to stay in the game for as long as they can since they know crypto is superior to fiat in every way. I will keep half fiat half crypto and that way I have both and it is diverse and I can spend in all sorts of places. Online with crypto offline with fiat. They just need to find a good wat to introduce it to the general public.

Thats a risky move. Putting half of your trust in crypto can be risky as its future is still not clear. I think its better to make it 30/70, 30 for crypto and 70 for fiat related investment ( that can be commodity, gold, oil, equity, forex etc). I have allocated a fixed amount that goes into my crypto invetment portfolio.
We are underestimating the power of banks and think that it will very easily surrender in front of crypto. Lets see.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: December 12, 2019, 05:05:22 PM
What else will the right time buy altcoin? All coins are almost in red for months. You can buy even with close eye (just kidding, don’t do that).
I know despite down in price no one will invest right now and everyone will wait for the next bull run to buy coins when their prices will be sky-high. That’s how crypto trading is going on, people buy high and sell in low.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Realistic 3x - 5x on: December 12, 2019, 04:41:49 PM
There is no one who can predict what are those coins who can go 3x to 5x times up. In other words, there is no coin on which everyone has consent that it will surely go up. Ethereum in my eye is a valuable coin but for many, it's not.  Ethereum ‘Almost Full’ as Controversial Coin Gobbles Up Capacity.
I had a total loss with one such coin who was predicted to go 10x times up but it never crossed its initial launch price.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if you have 1 btc what would be the coin that you buy and hold ? on: December 12, 2019, 01:52:13 PM
If you have 1 Bitcoin, congratulations, you are one of the few luckiest and blessed people on this planet earth. Please don’t do this silly mistake of exchanging this gold with sand.
See the current bearish market and analyze yourself. Altcoins are good if you have some extra cash or you are very confident about an altcoin that it will surely go up. Rest make sure bitcoin is your primary cryptocurrency.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: December 12, 2019, 01:25:30 PM
Ethereum has the potential to go up, as its hosting very successful DAPPs. Current price of 140 USD is ideal in my opinion for investing in Ethereum. My target is to sell Bitcoin at 500 USD.
I remember receiving a payment from one of my client via ethereum, when it was at 700 USD. Buy and HODL
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 11, 2019, 06:38:58 PM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

In my view, it's not only for newbies but also for experienced investors. Research is mandatory prior to investing in any crypto project.

Bitcointalk.org has done great effort in bringing many scam projects to public and saved many from investing into the scam. Hats off to the efforts of bitcointalk.org members for doing this public service.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good advice or bad advice? on: December 11, 2019, 06:17:12 PM
In equity trading, there is a well-known quote that 'every stock has a day', just wait for that day.
If I am not wrong you are referring to HODL. If you can keep your nerves under control you won't lose any money. Those who put there believe in BTC at the start and keep on accumulating are now whales. Every today I see the price of Bitcoin is very reasonable but most of us rather buying are uncertain about its future.
308  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ideas for a bitcoin Job or site! on: December 11, 2019, 05:53:17 PM
There is always a demand for programmers. If you are good in new programming technologies like react native, node.js you can make a good money by working online. Getting started is difficult but not impossible. initially, you have to spend time and effort on sites like fiverr, peopleperhour. Once you get started you will get decent money every month. good luck
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Strong Today And Will Continue To Grow on: December 11, 2019, 05:00:15 PM

I agree with most of the points presented here. Now, to help for the widespread utilization of Bitcoin as a currency and not just a store of value, its volatility has to be contained. Although volatility has been one of the reasons why Bitcoin became a popular investment vehicle, people are hampered from spending like the normal money and just hold them for speculative purposes. I am looking for another 10 years before we can really see the kind of impact that Bitcoin should be making on the world of finance, money, and banking.

I too fear that if crypto keeps on moving with current volatility, its mainstream adoption will be a dream only. See this year bitcoin volatility, it was below 5000 $ in first-quarter then crossed 10,000 USD and not at 7500 USD.

310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Rises to $20-$50k After Halving...Thoughts? on: December 11, 2019, 04:22:51 PM
Those who believe in this news that bitcoin will cross 20,000 - 50,000 USD after coin halving should start buying bitcoin right now at 7500 USD. We are not willing to buy bitcoin at current price while we are also certain that it will cross 20 - 50k after coin halving.
I don't understand this double standard.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to stop loss sending to wrong bitcoin address on: December 10, 2019, 02:55:56 PM
What's that suspicious link that was removed from your post,OP
Are you trying to promote something?
The problem with sending btc to wrong addresses will continue forever, but there's a solution.
It's called "double checking the address before sending any BTC". Grin
It's genius,isn't it. Grin

Rather then focusing on technological solution to this. Biggest mitigation measures lies within us
Quote
I sent funds to the wrong address. How do I get them back?

Sent to digital currency address
Due to the irreversible nature of digital currency protocols, transactions can neither be cancelled nor reversed once sent. In this scenario, it would be necessary to contact the receiving party and seek their cooperation in returning the funds. If you do not know the owner of the address, there are no possible actions you can to take to retrieve the funds.

Because of this, it is essential to exercise caution when sending. It is always recommended that you double-check that the address you are sending to exactly matches the address of the recipient before sending.

312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fleas are going down! on: December 10, 2019, 02:00:47 PM

Bitcoin fleas are back down! I am hoping that they stay down because these last few weeks have been painful.

First of all there is no such thing as Bitcoin Fleas.
Secondly crypto community is not worried about this downfall as bitcoin has the habit of making a strong come back after every downfall (do some research on price history of bitcoin).
Its good time to give yourself some break and gear up for next bull run.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 10, 2019, 01:10:42 PM
Done is done now. You cant undo that move. Dont think too much about this decision. If you are not an experienced trader then its good to stay with bitcoin in the start and HODL. You will see with time that long term investors are never at loss here.
Wish you good luck with your investment.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The path to $0 dollars per coin on: December 09, 2019, 05:43:38 PM

You know if you truly believe the nonsense that Bitcoin will reach $10 million per coin,
then all you need to do is buy .1 Bitcoin for $738.68 now and hold it until the fantasy comes true and your .1 bitcoin is worth $1 million US$.
Odds are however, you just end up losing the $738.68, but at least you won't keep throwing your fiat down a money pit making a scammer like patroncito richer.   Tongue
First, we have 50K USD per bitcoin, then 100,000 USD per bitcoin and now 10 Million USD per bitcoin. You are right why buying the whole bitcoin, why not buying just few satoshis that can give you a hundred thousand USD profit.
Surprisingly, OP says fiat (USD) will completely fail in the next ten years but bitcoin will still be measured in USD   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Is A Trading Signal Platform And Why You Should Try It For Cryptocurrency T on: December 09, 2019, 05:22:23 PM
Following trading signals mean you are downgrading your trade skills and very soon you will face a huge loss. I know some signals really make senses but that doesn't mean you are going to make more profits from it. Trading is one of the best occupations for me, if you know it well, your future may bright, if you cheat with your capability by following shit signals, you will come out with nothing.

I don't think your words will make any sense to those who are underestimating their trading skills. They will only get to know that these signals are just scam after bearing huge lose.
If these predictors are so accurate then why they just go and buy coins. I doubt even these signal predictors have there own crypto account. Who need that when you can earn huge profits by scamming people.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 09, 2019, 04:13:29 PM
I realy want to buy altcoin which coin can i buy to hold and make big project in future any idea tell me best profit coin to buy thanks.

There are countless coins in the crypto market and you can buy any of them. There are many altcoins which gave good return to there investors. To find these altcoins you have to work hard yourself. You have to explore things like Top 10 cryptocurrencies that stand out in 2019. Please explore this market yourself and have a solo flight, thats the only way to get success.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: December 08, 2019, 06:36:18 PM
If BTC manages to reach 100k then altcoins will also join the party and will see there ATH. The crypto market is dominated by bitcoin and prices of altcoins are directly linked with the price of bitcoins. Altcoins right now are not in a position to drive the market. So my guess is if BTC reaches 100k then altcoins will also be on the moon.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: December 08, 2019, 06:15:00 PM
Not many know the worth of HODL. Crypto is not only about buying BTC when it's down and selling it when it goes up few bucks. There is so much profit you can earn with HODL and patience.
I will sell my bitcoin holdings at one certain price and for that price to see I have to HODL for maybe months or years but I am confident HODL will not betray me.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin addresses hits an all time high! on: December 08, 2019, 12:48:21 PM
Not necessarily it means Bitcoin adoption is going high since all addresses have zero bitcoin. When bitcoin adoption will go high we will have merchants all over the world that will accept bitcoin, government policies in favor of bitcoin and things like that. unfortunately, we are not witnessing such things at the moment.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 Bull Run Speculation. Which Coins Will Go Through The Roof? on: December 07, 2019, 06:44:07 PM
My portfolio right now:

BTC
ETH
ADA
BLOCK
KMD
BNB

Anything else I should add, and why?  Grin

There is no coin which I can suggest to others with certainty less Bitcoin and ethereum, everything else is risky. 2020 bull run is just a speculation and I strongly suggest to avoid such speculations. We may or may not a bull run next year.
DYOR before adding any coin into your portfolio, dont buy anything based of posts and speculation. No one will share your loss.
