301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 21, 2023, 03:21:20 PM
The bad thing? They broke it against a team who is now eliminated this season. I mean if you're fan of the Warriors like me, you will not be impressed that they won against a bottom seeded team. Well, a win is a win nevertheless, and it's more frustrating if they lose yet again on the road, and against a tanking team like the Rockets.
Most probably, they are already aware of that fact and this win is not something that they should be proud about but the thing is, a win is a win and what happened on the game earlier is still a good thing to the whole team. Even if it's not against a heavy team, the game earlier was somehow important to lift the team's morale as they are already under the impression that they're really cursed on their road games.
No, it's not something to be proud, yet. They should look at the tape and see if they can find out how good they are today against the Houston Rockets.
Offensively, Rockets is a good team, they manage to win against strong teams like Lakers, Pelicans, and even the one at the top of the East, Boston Celtics.
Somehow, the Warriors got thru the offensive storm of their opponent but it's all because they are playing better at rotating the ball.
31 assists made by the Warriors and only 14 for the Rockets which means they are also stopping the passing lane. The ball rotation was also more accurate even though the turnover is still at large. 18 turnovers is a big number, they must think about making it lesser.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 21, 2023, 03:42:00 AM
Well, most of the time the pursuit of happiness is the twin brother of money. It's difficult to find happiness when you have nothing in your pockets. If you want to travel there is money involved and when you visit another country you will also need a budget to do so.
As for this age, is there really an existing happiness without money being involved unto it?
I seriously doubt that. Everything now has its price, every movement we make has a fee, there's nothing free anymore in this world, and even a one piece of nail should be bought in the hardware store. Your neighbor won't even give you one.
If you have money, it's easier to say you are free. Those who think it's boring when you have a better lifestyle must have been enjoying it since they were young. As for me, I have lots on my mind to enjoy it if ever I get rich.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | Unified WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | May 7 on: March 20, 2023, 01:35:48 PM

You know, this is a 12 round fight, you only need one round for Inoue to hit Fulton with a clean shot, and that might result to a KO.

Of course, just like what happened to Donaire, he was aggressive and wanted to go toe-to-toe against Inoue, which is why he got knocked out early.

So, if that is the game plan of Fulton, then most likely, we will see a KO, either Inoue will be knocked out, or Fulton.

It's a gamble that believes your chance of winning is high. The odds are quite questionable, but just go with your guts, as that's what you need to have a positive vibe while watching the fight.
In my opinion, Fulton will try to size him up first. Maybe check out how strong he really is. This new weight class that Naoya Inoue entered has no clue yet at how strong he really is. My prediction is up to 6 rounds until we could feel the heat of the fight and maybe that is where a knockout might happen when they exhausted themselves with jabs, parry, and just circling around.
As a challenger, I don't see why Inoue would just stand there, he will unquestionably be aggressive and show how hungry he is to get the title. KO or TKO is a good bet here. I may also enter a ticket on that bet for Inoue.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 19, 2023, 02:23:27 PM
Although it was frustrating to see the Denver Nuggets lose but I am glad to see the New York Knicks defeating the number 1 seed in the Western Conference.
And I love how the ball was shared. 20 points for Randle, 21 for RJ, and 24 for Brunson. And all who played long minutes have an assist in their stats. (only Obi Toppin didn't get 1 in 12 minutes of playtime)
If they keep this up, they might get a chance for another long winning streak. They have 3 now and their next opponent will be the Timberwolves who is an offensive team. We will see how they will answer back on their offensive barrage.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: March 19, 2023, 11:32:56 AM
It's now $27k, I thought it will have a strong resistance at $26k and will have that as a new high and remain that way for a longer period of time.
But it didn't stick with it, so I guess $30k will be possible for this month or the next as it will bring more investors to increase the demand after they saw a positive green light.
I'd be patient though and not expect too much. As long as $26k becomes the bottom for weeks then what you speculate may be probable to happen.
306  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 17, 2023, 10:45:53 PM
They are already winning without the AI, what more with it? I guess that's the answer for it. Business is business, that's their motto, no emotionally inclined movements and this is why AI will be a successful feature of one gambling site.
But they should also be looking at the other way. Once gamblers find it too obvious that they are not winning anymore then losing customers will come next. Even with AI's they should not stop giving away events that can double the winnings or guaranteed money backs, this way, their clients won't just leave them if they see chances of receiving more than what they bet for is high.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 17, 2023, 11:52:47 AM
Yep, just one game for the Warriors, and as we can see in their lineup, no Wiggins still, so they continue to struggle unlike during their championship run last year there are a lot of good supporting players who fulfill their role, but not this year. So Curry need to step up, scores 50 and yet it's not enough.

They are in the playoffs, just have to see where they are going to land and which opponents they are going to face.

But you can't really take them off in the equation as they are the defending champions and they have been in this situation many times.

I doubt Curry can carry the whole team with this line-up against west teams that already power up by acquiring big boys player from the East like KD on Suns and Irving on Mavs. Nuggets and Kings are the new top teams that is very hard to break even with complete line-up GSW.

I really think this year is not for GSW anymore due to a lot of factor that is much harder compared to last season. Western Conference is a one hell of a ride to be on championship while Easter Conference is an easy peasy path for Boston/Bucks. Western teams keeps leveling up their roster that makes most of Eastern team weak AF.

I hope that NBA will revamp the Division playoffs to make it more balance since there’s a big difference between West and East team.
He can't. He needs Klay Thompson to step up his game. But about GSW "not this year" thought, I won't go that far just yet. Remember, that's the same notion about them last year that is why it's too emotional for Steph Curry when they won the Finals. Because no one expected it and they are hearing bad things from different analysts about them being a bad team. And yet, they won it.
I can see Steve Kerr trying new things in their rotation. This past two games, he is inserting Moses Moody and he is having 10-15 minutes playtime. He might be on something else again.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's Price after got exploited on: March 16, 2023, 01:36:32 PM
The price will recover but not to that extent that you are expecting. It was tainted black and red so that will take out some value of the coin.
Sorry about that. But you may want to wait a little longer because for me that's a good job from their developers if they can act that fast. Some will just give it up and declare bankruptcy to avoid losing their profits. But they are working it out so perhaps it will have a positive effect to their investors.
Good luck though and keep on monitoring it if I were you. It's better to just keep it safe and be ready to pull out if given a chance.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a legal tender OR pay with BTC and get REAL goods. on: March 16, 2023, 12:25:47 PM
I have never tried it yet. But that's a good start for you. Most of my transactions are usually cash which I think is still the best-case scenario avoiding any problems in the long run. As for now, I still don't see a large amount of transactions or options to pay Bitcoin in local stores. I guess this forum has the only highest number of transactions when it comes to buying goods in exchange for Bitcoin.
But, I am not losing hope. Maybe someday I will see a physical store who would offer such service and it will grow. Online? Yes, it's possible but I want a case where I am holding the goods and paying up directly afterwards.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 16, 2023, 11:07:06 AM
I am sure it's not for the weak. Has your friend ever thought about all those ideas before he lost a lot of money in gambling? Because most of the time it just happens to those who have lost all their funds. But don't get me wrong this guys, when they find a new way to make money they will just go back to gambling. What comes out their mouth isn't really true, it's just their mental state is being clouded by their loss but give them back their money and I am sure they will gamble it again.
Your friend might need help first before he thinks about businesses and investments.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: 26k mark finally breached on: March 15, 2023, 01:27:51 PM
Then why didn't you buy while the price was lower? I don't why it's always like this, whenever it goes up, "I want it to go back to lower price." What the hell is the matter with us?
The chance was given and not because it goes to a pump mode, we wish for its drop again for selfish reasons. I hope it won't go back down. This should be the new bottom. Make those investors worry about when they will find their new entry point.
I congratulate those who are courageous enough to buy even at a stagnant market or a dump was happening.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 14, 2023, 03:33:05 PM
How about the Celtics losing tonight against the Rockets? It's totally unexpected for the Celtics to go down against a low team like the young Rockets, but it did happened and it was a very close game.

The thing is that Boston allowed the Rockets to be comfortable at their home, building momentum and takes double digit. And this guys are so young that there are not pressures whatsoever, they just play, hit the 3's and play good defense.
Very shocking ending. It's not that the Boston Celtics are underestimating the Houston Rockets, they just played better. Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr., Martin Jr, and Porter Jr (wow, that a lot of juniors) all played at high level and it was worth it when they got the win. I bet their confidence is also high now and after this they will be playing 4 more games on their home with popular strong teams. Lakers, Pelicans, and the Warriors before they hit the road again. They should not just give out any wins, make them earn it. Most teams now will be pushing their limits because of the close gap in the rankings.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Test on: March 14, 2023, 11:39:59 AM
That was a good one, so I appreciate the OP for sharing this test. It's an initial test for those who feels like they are prone to being a gambling addict but in case you badly need help, this ain't the solution.
I tried the test and most of my answers was a no because that's the truth. It's not like I am near the point where I would be arrested for so many loans or dragging other people from my hobby. And I don't really bet too many anymore unlike in the past where I dice almost the whole day.
The test was also a bit short, I am expecting some questions that will be hard to answer but it ain't there.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: March 13, 2023, 03:35:02 PM
Indefinite future. A wise investor might just pick the very known cryptocurrency Bitcoin rather than taking the higher risk investing with altcoins. It's not like they are the worst choices out there but there's better assurance in Bitcoin than them. Money wise, safety wise.
I still have some choices when it comes to buying altcoin. BNB for example, based on its market chart, whenever a bull happens, it doesn't fail to ride it and it could swing higher if ever the top currencies are doing well. But recently created altcoins in my opinion are out of the picture. I have seen stagnant movements from them even if there's a wild market happening.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 13, 2023, 01:55:01 PM
It will always depend on how a family member, a relative, or even a friend has built his trust. If you really think he is not worth the price he asked because he won't pay you afterward then you just did the right thing. If he takes it to heart then it's his problem because once you gave him that money and he didn't pay you will be the one who is bummed out which leads to stress. You won't like that feeling.
Who knows if that will be a good learning point for him. What if that decision will make him work harder for his own money and learn how to save?
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 13, 2023, 11:37:19 AM
It's normal to foul in that situation, but what's not normal is taking too much time before fouling Josh Hart. It's just unfortunate that he didn't miss the free throw, and even if the Lakers made the 3-point shot, time was not in their favor. Maybe they'll reflect on what happened, as they came back but wasted the opportunity to have a chance to win in the end.

Even though they lose, it's not really bad compared to their last games when they still have WB in their rosters. AD was not really effective this time maybe due to the fact the New York Knicks has been planning to play against him intensively. This is their case when they don't have LBJ with them on the court and surely their next opponent will ponder in this game to have an idea of how to beat them. The Lakers will surely reflect on this loss and will gonna improve the way they play next games if they wanted to not be out of the play-in tournament.
It was a successful plan by the New York Knicks, if this is all Tom Thibodeau then congratulations to him. That's how you stop the Lakers (without Lebron), somehow.  Because they still forgot about DLo and he scored 33 points. But I bet it will be worst if they didn't do that to AD.
I didn't really expect they will break their losing streak against the Lakers because that team had been playing better and been trying to climb the high ranks. More unpredictable outcomes might happen as we get close to the playoffs.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 12, 2023, 01:38:38 PM
I wish you also named the website that you are talking about so we could try and dig if they really have the same issues about other gamblers before.
We don't have the facts, it's difficult to judge someone or something without a full proof. We cannot just speculate about what they have done or if there is really some damage that was done.
Just to answer the question, it's not right. But, it depends on circumstances especially if the gambler told the gambling site about the change of number prior to the confiscation or ban.
They are also trying to keep it clean and maybe it is written in their TOS about one IP per gambler only.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 12, 2023, 10:32:46 AM
Enticing promo banners but tncs that make these promos largely useless and these tncs aren't obvious from looking at banners. Upon click they redirect you to login/registration page whereas I feel click on to banner should redirect user to that particular promo's tnc.
Well that always the first step. Registration. But what I witness these days regarding casino or sports book registration is they are not that strict anymore. They usually just need your e-mail and you can start browsing their pages. It's not really much of a hassle if you want to look inside their website for the promos. It's a normal thing to keep their business secured. Besides, you can also use a dummy account if you are keeping your privacy or just want your computer/account clean.
Banners are scattered around mostly just for advertisements. They could change every week and the one posting it could be using the old ones.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you're so inlove with BTC on: March 12, 2023, 08:49:54 AM
You are so deep in love that you are starting to talk to Bitcoin. Wow. There are different ways to help it increase in value rather than just talking to it which will not really help at all. You can start preaching the good news to friends so that when they invest in Bitcoin the demands could grow. Even BTC0.01 or lesser will be a help to push the value higher. Strength in numbers, that's what we are going to do. We cannot just idle and let the whales decide the market. There's also power in retail buyers like us as long as we are many.
