I really think this thread is much ado about nothing.  Many phrases are ingrained in language itself, and are used commonly and flippantly, and have no meaning such as the OP alleges.  That is a cultural heritage.

So if you were a fundamentalist Xtian in the US military and seconded to, say, a middle-eastern unit to train an Islamic force and they required you to say "Insha'Allah" after every mission briefing, you'd have no problem with that?
3022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SCAM] BLOCKNET: The Metcalf/Prom Alt-Coin Cartel Scam Exposed on: November 08, 2014, 11:25:35 AM
Well Blocknet made its goal, so it is going to happen, sorry but the competitors smear campaign failed,

Do you have any evidence that the many concerns that were raised were nought but a 'smear campaign' and, more importantly, were from a competitor?

Because simply dismissing the valid concerns of people who were being critical of this ITO and those behind it, isn't helpful and paints you as somebody who will simply declare everything that doesn't agree with you to be FUD.

Refusal to accept delivery is a breach of contract. Any costs for this (such as for transportation, storage and care of returned goods) will be charged to the customer refusing to accept delivery. Should the refusal to accept delivery continue, we will follow Swedish law and take the steps and measures necessary to look after our interests.

Your product not performing to the specifications advertised is a breach of contract.

Whether B2B or B2C you're the ones breaching the terms of the sale by trying to force delivery of a product that falls short of that which was paid for.

As for blaming the pools, what are they claiming exactly is wrong with the pools? I've had multiple Innosilicon A2 90's hashing as a single user on numerous pools without issue, so what mystical force are they claiming is behind their Titan not being able to function properly on them?

The problem is that we still do not have bittrex unsold block address and that people can still deposit bitcoin buy higher and dump on the sell wall.

You keep saying that as though anyone would bother wasting their time and money doing so.

Nobody from SuperNET appears to care about this scandal-hit ITO and Block is so very far from having anything of substance to show for itself, there's little concern about it from their side.

So who would be motivated enough to burn btc in order to stop this ITO from reaching the 850btc needed?

Do you not think that it's simply a large number of returns being made by people who have changed their mind? Why keep kidding yourself it is anything other than the one thing it is most likely to be?

3025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] The internet of blockchains / XBridge / true cross-chain P2P on: November 07, 2014, 01:44:07 PM
It seems clear to me that Bittrex is not following the ITO rules.  ITO is complete, the funds were obtained withing the ITO time frame of 7 days and Bittrex should now be consider to be part of the FUD campaign.

Bittrex are doing the right thing by ensuring that people who bought before the scandalous allegations were made public can reverse their decision without feeling like they were conned into buying into a project they no-longer believe is what it claims to be.

That there may have been more than 850BTC raised prior to the buywall is irrelevant, because only the total BTC that remains after the buyback period has ended actually count as being willingly invested.

It can be utilised for any Scrypt-based application, including mining for Litecoins, Dogecoins and others.

This.

The fact that they even state on their own support forums that the unit can only function on certain pools is evidence enough that they are as aware of the fact the product does not meet the originally advertised specifications as their customers are.

Repeating their 'no refund' mantra and ignoring the fact that they are not even shipping a unit that conforms to the advertised specs, is just bully-boy tactics. They want us gone so they can dig in to that $14,000,000.00 payday from Creandum's recent investment.

Maybe it would be worth letting staffan.helgesson@creandum.com learn some home truths about KnC and what sort of company Creandum are showing the world they are prepared to go to bed with.

3027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A message to all those involved in the BlockNET debacle on: November 06, 2014, 06:03:03 PM
Wow. Your whole post smacks of jealousy and spite.

Easy to say, not so easy to actually prove when you consider that Supernet actually has tech and an investment portfolio backing it while Blocknet, well, they've got marketing guys.

I'm still trying to find what Blocknet is claiming it could do that Supernet can't.

. . . asides from blow it's own trumpet, that is.

3028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 06, 2014, 03:05:58 PM
Can't see that cutting the mustard with KnC.

I know of people who have had to resort to emailing the Swedish Embassy in their country in order to try and explain that KnC are claiming privileges for refusing refunds that don't exist in the EU and asking the Embassy to explain if Swedish company law actually permits that sort of "you'll get what your given even if it doesn't perform as was originally promised" shitty attitude.

We will repair/replace the cube and send it back to you in the quickest way possible.

As long as it doesn't require any work outside of normal office hours mon-fri and doesn't cost us anything and doesn't make me get up from this chair and doesn't make me have to root through a shit-ton of these damn cubes to find one that might actually work.

But, other than that, sure it'll be 'the quickest way possible.

3030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A message to all those involved in the BlockNET debacle on: November 06, 2014, 02:01:44 PM
Ok this coming from SDC's whales paid troll. "I get tips and their piling up" FFS

I think he meant 'tips' of the information kind, not monetary.

How dull, you are simply resorting to your usual dishonest response of asking a question about something else when faced with a fact you don't like.

3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] The internet of blockchains / XBridge / true cross-chain P2P on: November 05, 2014, 03:46:06 PM
Lastly, if you want the Blocknet to exist, buy BLOCK.

Oh dear. That is usually the death-knell of any project, when the team behind it start calling for people to "buy more and buy now!!!!!11!1"

3033  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: November 05, 2014, 03:44:12 PM
Yeah, I especially like the part where you countered the facts laid before you about your precious Bible falling short on the whole 'word of god' shtick.

Henry VIII decides he wants to get divorced, voila! goodbye RC, say hello to the "Church of England", now, who do I have to behead to get a CofE Bible thrown together?

3034  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: November 05, 2014, 03:31:23 PM
Ooh, snappy comeback. You sure showed me.

Way stronger than anything else. In fact science is the weakest with all their "if"s.

Jesus fucking Christ, well done, another epic example of just how poisonous religion is, you are so far gone you cannot even see the absurdity of your statements.

Science: We don't have enough data yet to explain [insert subject here] fully.
You: Haha, science fail! Old men in silly hats have given me the answers to everything and I believe them because, well, they tell me God told them, so it must be true. I can haz all the answers!

3036  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: November 05, 2014, 03:15:48 PM
This thread is just another depressing example of the sheer magnitude of human ignorance, particularly that which is wilful.

3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 05, 2014, 03:05:34 PM
That is why I don't understand why they are willing to risk getting their asses handed to them on a plate by lawyers because of their refusal to refund on a product that can't do what was promised, when they could simply give refunds and send the unwanted Titans up to their DC and would be able to recover the manufacturing cost at the very least through mining.

Customers aren't likely to make ROI from mining with these units, but KnC most definitely could.

They have this as a solution that would relieve them of the potential risks exposing them to litigation from their current poor handling of the situation, but they appear to be determined to simply keep chanting 'no refund' and threatening forced deliveries on customers who are absolutely entitled to cancel due to the units not being what was promised in the original (and still current) sales description.

For those who will be facing having to RMA dead cubes, this has been posted today over on Litecointalk by user 'Mattzees'

Quote from: Mattzees
They got my cube on 10/19.  I just got an email today saying my cube is indeed dead, which is what I'd been trying to tell them, and offering me a choice of replacements.  I can have two partly-working Batch One cubes shipped to me right now, or I can wait "several weeks" for a single working cube.

This is a reflection of how seriously messed up the situation with KnC is, they finally admit that the cube was dead after having had the failed unit in their possession since 19th October and, as of today, they can't even send him back a single working cube and are resorting to offering two known-to-be-faulty cubes or he has to wait several weeks longer than he already has.

Tell me again why KnC were offered 14,000,000 dollars by a VC Fund, was it because they produce a quality product and are a professional outfit or was it just because they *really* know how to bilk their customers for megabucks?

3040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 05, 2014, 11:39:59 AM
First it has to be established where legal papers can be served considering the registered office address they have on record at Companies House is unserviceable.
