3041  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK Recording over 10.000 cases on: June 28, 2021, 11:39:18 AM
People aren't care their protection like before because they trust the vaccine. Therefore it will be worse than before. I hope everyone realise the matter and care themself and their relatives.

If we are talking about vaccinated peeps being infected, then it is negligible as they are only having the least alarming symptoms such as mild flu and such.

Though I will agree that they need to care about others as some are still not vaccinated, and maybe some of their relatives are not either
Vaccinated people can also get infected, the percentage of it happening isn't that high, however, as you've mentioned, if they aren't careful, it can happen. More importantly though, vaccines decrease the risk of having major disease's symptoms and will possibly save you the trip to the hospital (And reduce the risk of death).

This can be seen by observing UK's Covid-19 statistics, they are having 10.000 daily cases but only 15-20 deaths.

Im talking about vaccinated and not vaccinated people. Vaccinated people thinks: they are okay  there is no problem for them but they might be infected and also they can spread the virus. On the other hand people who not vaccinated people thinks: Everyone getting vaccinated so no need to mask or vaccine bla bla bla. So everyday number of vaccinated people is getting higher and higher but its not meant to we must lower our shields  Wink This situation seems like herd mentality. But in this time we are own by own. We must be in alert all the time till this fucking virus gone Smiley

This exactly why there is no difference anymore between the no vaccinated, partially vaccinated and fully vaccinated people when it comes to travelling in high risk areas. I read this weekend that if you travel to UK, Russia or Portugal that you need to go into isolation for 14 days. That is a bit crazy, because why get the vaccine in the first place then? Also with the upcoming Euro 2020 final in London, this going to be hard.
3042  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is AstraZeneca vaccine: safe or not safe? on: June 28, 2021, 11:18:07 AM

There is debate going on in the Media where safety of Astrazeneca vaccine developed in UK is being questioned and people are generally reluctant to get this vaccine. Some counties even banned it because some Blood clotting was reported in some people who were vaccinated in particular women and men below 50 years thought the percentage of such incidents is not very high..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWhoCltkyvU

From my personal experience I can say that the vaccine is alright. Around half of my family all got the AstraZeneca vaccine, and most of them already have the second dose. My dad had probably the strongest side effects with lying in bed for one day with fever. Everybody else including myself just had some light headaches, nothing severe.
3043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 28, 2021, 11:15:55 AM
I think there is a very high chance for Croatia to be eliminate from this tournament today, the defense of Croatia are not very good as they have not managed to keep a clean sheet for many of their past games played. Spain totally demolished Slovakia in their last game and I think Spain will be able to beat Croatia without the need to go into extra time today.

I am not sure, Spain didn't look so strong in their games and played mostly for a draw. Probably I will just skip this bet. Yesterday I lost some money betting on Netherlands, Czechslovakia is playing really well at the moment. To make the money back I would bet now on Czechs to win against Denmark. What about Belgium Italy? Should be a sure win for Italy.
3044  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dead or no ?? What did Q mean ? on: June 28, 2021, 11:13:15 AM
Oh another conspiracy theory about McAfee. It is hard to know what actually happened because we don't get the full informations. I agree with you that the suicide story seems the least likely, because he sad himself that he wouldn't ill himself. But if he is still alive and escaped prison than he needs to have powerful people who help him. I think it's more likely he got the Eppstein treatment because he knew too much.
3045  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: June 27, 2021, 07:56:59 AM
In past scientists created a god element that could mimic any element but it was unstable and couldn't last for a long time.

A god element? I haven't heard of that one yet. How does it work? It can mimic all other elements? This sounds interesting and very complex. How can the god element just change from a solid state, to liquid or gas? This probably requires a lot of energy. Also if this could be produced in large quantities than the military will likely start include it their arsenal.
3046  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you worried about the delta virus variant? on: June 26, 2021, 02:50:48 PM
I just read an article that the delta variant is main source behind the third corona wave in Africa. The much higher transmission rates from the new virus makes it especially bad for countries which only vaccinated a small percentage of the their population yet. For western countries the risk is probably not as high because on average 50% of the population are already vaccinated. Especially the older people have the vaccine already, so the death rate shouldn't be as high as with the previous waves.
3047  Other / Off-topic / Re: What motivates you to work hard every day? on: June 26, 2021, 02:43:02 PM
It's easy to get overwhelmed with goals, to-do lists and work to the point where you start to feel burned out.

What motivates you to keep pushing through the struggles of life to accomplish your dreams?

The first motivation I have that makes me stand up every morning is money. Without the Monthly paycheck I would be doomed. And then there are especially hard days where everything seems difficult, during such dark times I need to remind myself that I do it all to give back to my family. They always supported me and now it's time for me to do the same.
3048  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Allow Jeff Bezos to go back to Earth on: June 25, 2021, 01:48:52 PM
I don't know, do we really need this guy back on earth? A friend of mine worked for amazon and he said the working conditions are pretty bad. The richest man alive isn't paying taxes and isn't treating his employees fairly. Do we really need such an entrepreneur in 2021? Also he has enough money to stay in space, why not just build your own space station and fly some models up there on a monthly basis
3049  Other / Off-topic / Re: I'm getting into Programming to get Paid. Do you wanna follow along? on: June 25, 2021, 01:43:44 PM
That sounds interesting, good luck for your studies. I took a few programming courses during university, but that was a long time ago. For today's world I probably have the basics of I would ever like to go deeper into programming. I would also like to make more money on the side, but during summer I am always busy with work and family. Would be nice if you can keep us updated here, maybe I start following you this winter.
3050  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Whats Up with the Woke racist Left? on: June 25, 2021, 01:19:08 PM
propagating antiracism for decades, it turns out it is 100% just hypocritical and racist?

when will the racist neonazi left bein considered as such, when will they stop disguising themselves as communists and when will they get all finally fired together with their worthless racist staffers?

the democrats are a nightmare for americans they are unable to manage anything

It is just a matter of years until the leftist executives realise that the woke business ideas don't sell. It is not up to an corporate agenda but to all of us to change it. We the consumers need to boycott all that woke crap. The biggest issue for me are all these woke movies nowadays. They don't care for their own story, rather take stories with a make lead and put only woman in the movies. It's on us to not fall for these movies.
3051  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why depression comes on: June 25, 2021, 01:12:56 PM
Is it true that everyone will exprience depression or not at all? Well their's a time that I think I experience depression because of hardship days comes to my life..I almost want to quit to live..but I thanks God I overcome this by the help of my wife and my son.how about you did you ever experience this and how did you overcome this? and what did you do to still be live and enjoy life.thanks for the time.

I don't think that everybody will experience depression in his life. Hardship on the other hand will be faced by everybody. For example, we all have been confronted by death of a family member. It is nature that our grand parents and parents will die before us. This is a horrible time, but it comes down to how we manage out feelings and cope with such events. If we don't have friends and family to support us, the risk of becoming depressed is much higher.
3052  Other / Politics & Society / Re: so john mcafee committed suicide.. over taxes on: June 24, 2021, 06:50:32 PM

do you feel that someone should be arrested and then deported over an unpaid bill?
i might understand it if he was already found guilty of not paying taxes. and then refused to pay the court fines.and then left the country
but before even being found guilty of an unpaid bill. when its still just suspected. seems harsh to go to the extremes, right?.. especially when so many others do the same and get away with it.

Tax evasion is a serious offence, but should you really take your own life over it? I don't think so, no one got hurt. Can't you just make a deal, repay your taxes and go a few years in prison? There are probably more things happening behind the curtain. As usual we will never know about it. I really liked the meme that shows the Clinton and say that John got Eppsteined. Also John McAfee kept tweeting before going to prison that if people say that he committed suicide  then something will be wrong. I am not believing that he really committed suicide.
3053  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: June 24, 2021, 05:43:46 PM
Listen to music, play video games, exercise. Basically the best way to deal with stress is to spend time doing things you enjoy. Hang out with friends, have a drink, anything that helps you relax.

First of all we need to identify what creates stress in our life, maybe its work, maybe its family, or other factors. The best idea is to just take a complete break from whatever we are doing. Going for a walk and listening to music are the best things for me to reduce stress. Playing video games is not a good idea, because I get to invested into the games and want to win no matter what. In the end it just creates more stress than helping.

John McAfee, the creator of the eponymous antivirus protection software, was found dead in his Spanish prison cell after an announcement earlier Wednesday that he would be extradited to the U.S. to face charges of financial crimes, the Associated Press reported.

Although I don't like him and his passion of shilling shitcoins a lot but he somehow paved the way for celebrity involving cryptocurrency. RIP McAfee!

Looks like the Clintons pulled another Epstein. I wasn't aware they had such far reach to prisons in Spain. Let me guess, it was ruled a suicide and no real investigation is being conducted. I am going to miss his Tweet, after Trump probably the second most funniest celebrity on Twitter. He did a lot for the crypto community and his antivirus software will likely be around.
3055  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ^^^ You just haven't gone far enough. on: June 23, 2021, 02:46:37 PM

Some people just can't take looking at the truth. So, they delete it. Some joker couldn't take this on his/her thread, so he deleted it. Too close to the truth, I guess.

It is in human nature to look for validation and support of our ideas. I don't really know why, but we try to find people who think like us. And if we face too much confrontation we get into a defensive mode. Deleting a thread is probably just because he doesn't want to be reminded that so many other people have the opposite opinion and might make fun of him for it. Having freedom of speech also means that we will have a lot of different opinions and need to argue from time to time to find a middle way.

3057  Other / Off-topic / Re: YOUR BIGGEST ENEMY on: June 23, 2021, 01:42:16 PM
You've probably heard that your biggest enemy is YOU.  That's quite true in so many levels.we all have big dreams. Really huge ones that we want to see come through. But you know what's funny? Many people just sit around and do nothing about it. They expect life to bring their dreams into reality and they don't want to do anything about it. I'LL do it later becomes their watchword.
Am I Lazy? Hell No. In fact,am hardworking well above average. But the real enemy was procrastination or putting off or delaying, especially something requiring immediate attention.. you're doing something else that you probably shouldn't be doing because it's more fun and requires just a little effort. There is something you should know about time, once it's gone you can never bring it back, Instead of procrastinating, Start now! Take your first step towards that your goal you have always wanted to achieve.

You are right. The biggest enemy for me is definitely my own ego. Between me and my goals are some hurdles, the biggest one being my own mind. I wish I could just change my bad habits overnight. Procrastination is the biggest killer of my dreams. Its just so hard to change abs reinvent ourselves.
3058  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you worried about the delta virus variant? on: June 23, 2021, 01:18:13 PM
It is reported to be up to 60% more transmissible. I'm OK, and I'm not taking any precautions, as I haven't been vaccinated, so I still have all my natural immunity.

I hope you don't have any older family members around you that you could infect. My biggest fear is that I get the virus, don't have symptoms and then infect my 90 year old grandmother. I got the first shot of vaccination in May, but it seems that one dose is not enough to protect us from the delta variant. I will be more cautious until I get the second injection in 4 weeks.

Portugal Vs France
This match will definitely be an interesting one to watch, both countries are really good and have star players. Although, Portugal lost their match to Germany. France is topping the Group table with 4 points, while Portugal have 3 points. The match will be a tough one.

I really hope to see an amazing game tonight. Due to Portugal's defeat to Germany on Saturday, they now need to win more points. Although the French are through, they'll probably want to bring back the winning momentum after the disappointing result against Hungary. I expect a more energetic French team, and to see Benzema score his first EURO goal.
Anyway, I think we'll see one interesting match. My money is on France.

Both games tonight will be very interesting. I think Portugal, Hungary and Germany all need to win, to be safe for the next round. A lot of pressure on the teams because they play at exactly the same time. So you can't rely on the other teams to lose. To me it seems unlikely that there will ce a draw, all of them are going for goals. My last minute bets for tonight are France and Germany winning.
3060  Other / Off-topic / Re: World falling apart? on: June 23, 2021, 01:10:21 PM
Anyone else follow world events closely? It seems like there is more and more disasters, mostly manmade, by the day. Along with the threats of war, plagues, and general environmental decline.
I'm not trying to post one of those 'the sky is falling' threads, but if you look closely there's a lot of negative events coming at us from many different angles.

Things seem to be falling apart, and I think it has been building up to this for quite some time.

It seems that more bad things are happening nowadays then 20 or 50 years ago. It is my subjective feelings and try might be skewed. We also need to look at how the world changed in the last 50 years. Humanity became so much more connected thanks to the Internet and smart phones. Within hours we can inform now the whole world that something bad is happening, while in the past this took weeks.
