3101  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook |250k$ Easter giveaway | VIP | on: June 01, 2022, 06:00:55 PM
Too many different bonuses (free bonuses especially) give abusers extra space for manoeuvres. With free money kind of bonuses it is easy to sink a casino. Take a look on BitLucy. Free bonus abusers managed to paralyze casino work for 2 weeks already.

Free codes is a good way to promote. Casino has set a budget and amount of codes. It makes users to create accounts, and casino cant be abused for more than a set budget.
I do believe that there will always be people who abuse these type of stuff, it is not going to be that simple to make this work. I know that many people want this to over but at the end of the day abusers will always try to get the most for themselves. It is an individualistic approach, they do not care about any casino or any place and all they care about is to make sure that they get what they want and that's it.

This is why we are going to keep seeing these people abuse all the casinos, not just bitlucy or not just duelbits and not even just casinos, they will do their best to make sure that they can bankrupt every place they can to make themselves richer.
3102  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤜 GamblingBro.com 🤛 Honest crypto casino reviews ✅ Tested with real deposits ✅ on: May 31, 2022, 09:41:17 PM
Can you provide us on what basis they are ranked or the site used any algorithm script? Whatever it is, I have some concerns about the method you used to determine the rankings as apparently most would not agree to them. For example, I have two favorites here: Fairspin and Betplay Meanwhile Rollbit was not good for me. The withdrawal took too long.
Based on his original post, his ranking and reviews are based on his experience while playing on the website. just like you probably had a bad experience with Rollbit, his bad experience is with Fairspin. as for Betplay, the ranking gap between Rollbit and Betplay is not far.
He can always check the first page and he can also check the main review site to see if the reviews looks so good to him but we all won't have the same experience in playing the site. It could be that by the time he made a review the site ran onto some problems causes for his withdrawals to delay or something else.

Not sure what an algorithm script can do to a site like this, since this was only just a plain site made to post reviews from gambling sites but if ever you disagree, you can always post your own comment on their website, since they have a comment box under the review or you can just completely ignore what he said. What matter is still our own experience.
3103  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: May 31, 2022, 06:58:19 PM
New world order is emerging for sure, but we need to see whether they will overtake the old one. Combined economies of US-EU-Japan has been stagnant for quite some time now, and self-destructive embargoes and sanctions will harm them even further. If Trump was in power, then he would have taken steps to increase shale oil production within the United States and the increased supply of crude oil would have destroyed the Russian economy. Biden on the other hand has went the opposite direction, and as a result the Russians are earning 10x of what they were earning in 2021.
Quite a good Trump-loving statement. If Trump was the president, we all know how he approached Ukraine, we know how he attacked Ukraine, and we all know how he loved Putin, he was basically his puppet, so he would do exactly what Putin told him to do. So right now, instead of helping Ukraine, USA would have just let Russia do whatever they want and be silent, or even be in support of Russia.

Trump was a controlled puppet, whereas Biden is taking a challenge against one of the superpowers of the world, while not destroying the earth by doing polluting and climate change causing methods to just drop the prices. Sorry if being against a dictator and saving the world at the same time looked not good to you.
3104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: May 31, 2022, 01:19:42 PM
I agree with your title IF you are too blessed to be lucky on the new coins that you pick but if not then sorry because all you are going to get is mostly losses since many new coins are not serious but the reason why they came up with such project is only for a quick money. They don't need luck because there's always newbies and newbies at heart that will easily get attracted on grabbing their coins.

If let say I will invest in a new coin, my goal would be selling them early because I already know their game and it would be risky to hold them for a long time. I never tried it though so no I didn't experience to get a profit on them and by that I can't recommend anything sorry but all I can say is distance yourself from luna projects.
3105  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: May 31, 2022, 11:09:46 AM
The best way to advertise your new casino is to put in a lot of work I'm into promotion in form of promos and giveaways, or if you want to make more noise on the forum you can do a signature campaign also.
Yes, some people will promote even scam casinos, right? Grin.

OP was looking for input from casino owners as he said "How much bankroll you had when you opened your first casino" but obviously none of the casino owners will support a new competitor so don't expect any answers from casino owners and the suggestions posted by users are quite honest and good as I was reading some of them. You can do signature campaigns or art contests like roobet and a few others do every now and then.

You can go with forum advertising as well. You can learn more about it here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5398346.0
3106  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you suggest a crypto sportsbook with video streaming of sporting events? on: May 31, 2022, 07:14:55 AM
Can you suggest a crypto sportsbook with video streaming of sporting events?
Firstly, any regulated sportsbook cannot just stream games because they will get sued by the rightful owners.

There are sportsbooks like stake that have purchased the rights for big events like NBA & UFC and have the streaming on-site now. Then again you will be unable to stream all the games because they have permissions for limited events and the quality is not HD. For UFC the commentary is actually not available, probably because they don't have the rights for that alongside streaming.

For esports you will find almost all the games covered well and truly on twitch and stake, bitsler have implemented those widgets within their site.
3107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 30, 2022, 09:51:14 PM
Warriors will be the ultimate favorite i guess and Celtics will be the underdog, but expect that everything will change in the finals and that in some cases, the favorite will turn into the underdog at the end of the game. But since i am rooting for Warriors as i'm a big fan of it, so hopefully this will not happen to Warriors end up as underdog. Warriors fought hard just to go this far, and in fairness to Celtics they did a good fight too. So may the best team wins as the finals is already fast approaching.
I agree that there is a good case to be made about the Finals being a bit more risky for each team, and there is nothing that will change that in any finals in history or the future. Remember the time Toronto won? That wasn't an easy thing but they won because Warriors got so many injured players in a single finals series, they were basically out of everyone for a while, and the next season as well.

So anything could happen, I do see Warriors as favorites, and they know that they are favorites, but one injury, one mishap, and everything could change. This is why I never say it's guaranteed for any team to win, it will never be like that.
3108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: May 30, 2022, 06:41:21 PM
A rise of 30k is small based on the price that we see now so I don't believe on that speculation. For me for btc to fall down to 8k we need to reach a really high level like 80k and above because we know that after the pump, the dump then takes place.

The price might not exactly dump at 8k because it can be too low already but most of the times the decrease of the price can continue, like on what we are seeing these days. That can be the only way to reach 8k. Fed might be strict now but I think the price of the btc isn't only dependent on them. That is why I believe that there's always a chance for the btc to recover and increase at a whole another level.
3109  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 30, 2022, 12:20:55 PM
Stake has been a place that wagering and the odds have been a bit of a problem even without the parlay and the independent situation. It always has a bit worse odds and I never liked that odd situation. Look, I do gamble here on dice and that is why I gamble here on some sports as well because it's the same bankroll and I am fine with it.

But, I have to be honest and say that I am also gambling some other place as well because the odds are better there. Like in a bet that offers 1.70 here, I could find as high as 1.80 or more in another place, that may sound like a small thing but when you combine that from 10k+ players here, I am pretty sure that difference is millions.
Which sportsbooks are you referring to please? Are they crypto or fiat sportsbooks? On which markets are they clearly above Stake?
If you check on odds comparator, you will certainly find sportbooks with better odds for many markets but they are usually fiat sportsbooks not available for everybody (like Pinnacle for example) and not offering the same amount of promotions and bonuses as Stake. It should be taken into account because if you don't mainly bet on parlays and if you are not a small bettor Stake remains certainly one of the most interesting sportsbook, on the whole IMO.
I do not want to name the competition on stake's topic, it would be a shady thing to do, like I am working for them type of shady. This is why I will not name any website here, I just said that there are other crypto places that offer better odds, maybe not huge, but consistently higher, which is why I believe that Stake should consider making their odds better.

However, I do understand the situation as well, they are also the biggest one in the world as well hence they are spending so much, which is why they need to make more money compared to other places as well, they "need" that money to keep this going, hence the odds are a slightly worse compared to most other big crypto sportsbooks.
3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Communication ( Bridges ) on: May 30, 2022, 06:00:19 AM
I recently came to know about bridges and while I agree and understand the risks mentioned in OP and in general, I feel like bridges solve a really solid problem as we save all the transaction fees and stuff required for first selling and then buying again on the desired blockchain.

I've been investing in many projects like Radar have their own bridge as well. I hate LUNA but there exists a bridge for that too and it worked out pretty well I used it last time.

If you don't know how bridges work though, don't touch them Smiley.
3111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do sportsbook does not apply parlay on the same event? on: May 29, 2022, 05:20:02 PM
There is a very obvious reason for this. Imagine if they allow parlaying on the same event then it's possible one would parlay events like over 2.5 goals, over 1.5 goals and over 0.5 goals because technically if you are betting on 3 goals then it's also higher than 1.5 and 0.5 and this can be abused in many other ways. Another example would be betting on runs in cricket and betting on over 300.5 let's say and then you can parlay for over 250.5 or 275.5 and so on ..

There are bet builders available for some sites like sportsbet and stake so you can use them to build your bet on the same event since they are designed in such a way that they won't allow you to group similar markets or markets that have an impact on each other. I am personally not good at making bet builder bets so I rather go with singles and parlays for multiple events.
3112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what age did you start learning about bitcoin? on: May 29, 2022, 04:11:10 PM
I got in 2016, and I have been here ever since, became a 30+ year old person ever since I learned about it and built a whole family after learning about it. The best part about it is that I got to provide my family a good income thanks to it and that is a great thing because every man wants to provide as much as possible for their family, there is nothing wrong with that.

However, it is also not so great that I ended up not getting anything in return from life, because as we all know, a man provides for his family, but rarely gets to do anything crazy for themselves because every dollar you spend on yourself could have gone for your family, hence why we hesitate to spend on ourselves. So all of this profit and income worked out great for my family, but I have been living exactly the same life Cheesy.
3113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: May 29, 2022, 09:35:23 AM
Satoshi was a developer born once in a century, calling him a mentor is not appropriate I feel.

Coming back to the point of mentoring in crypto trading; I feel like it's good to have a mentor who can guide you and provide support when things go wrong but at the same time you need to ask him why is he a mentor if he's actually so good. If your mentor is someone who does it as a job then it makes sense otherwise if one is good at trading himself/herself then they don't need to mentor others Wink.

When I started trading I used to watch videos and learn, never had a mentor and I am pretty good at trading learning on my own. I faced losses as well but it was all part of the learning process.
3114  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 28, 2022, 08:38:06 PM
canning with mason jars is pretty easy.

I do a few bushels of tomatoes for sauce.

Learn to dry meat into beef jerky. both beef jerky and mason jarred tomato will last a long time.

get a quality water filter and filter the water boil it and can it in mason jars.

Get dry beans. store in metal bento boxes.

get rice. store in metal bento boxes.

I can do all of the above for under $500 usd. I would have supplies for a few months  if I did it.

learn to make varied meals from above. you will need some basic spices.

Make sure you have at least 2 guns or shotguns with ammo for self defense or suicide if things get truly stupid.
You may say that 500 for a few months as a cheap thing for you, but when you consider that there are nations with 200 bucks a month minimum wage and there are like 20-30% of the population working for minimum wage, that becomes a bit of a question mark.

If those people bought all of those, and canned it, and eat that for a few months, that could be basically a break even situation for them, instead they get cheap stuff like potato and pasta and so forth which are very cheap and they eat that because they can't survive otherwise. So if you are from a place like the USA or the UK or whatever, then this idea would work but for people in very poor nations this is not ideal situation.
3115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 28, 2022, 07:41:38 PM
I am sure that Max will be biting the ear of Perez until tomorrow. It is not going to be that good for them, Max will be starting at fourth, that is not really a good start specially in Monaco. The horrible thing is, Sainz could just race slowly and not let anyone pass, since it is a small track, he could keep others from passing him very easily, which means that he could allow Charles to go ahead for a long time without any trouble.

By the time Sainz could ever be passed (which may never happen) I am sure that Charles will be already 20-30+ seconds ahead. This would be screwed of course if Max somehow gets ahead of Sainz but I am not seeing that happening at all.
3116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: May 28, 2022, 07:14:51 PM
The funny thing about a lot of people is they usually think that 'this time it's different.'.  It's never different because BTC's 4 year halving cycle is always being anticipated and always being played accordingly.  And here's the thing, as long as the whole crypto market revolves around BTC then it's also trapped together with BTC's 4 year cycle.

I think in order for the market to break away from said cycle, BTC would have to lose dominance over the rest of the crypto market and have another coin lead the market.  Say ETH flippens BTC...  Yeah yeah I know but what if.  Then I think it would be the only time we could say 'this time it's different.'.

*Mutes thread*
I always said that it is 3 year cycle and never anyone found an argument against it. Remember that 2011 was the year where all of this pizza deals and the price going up all of that happened, 2014 was the year where we broke over 1k for the first time, 2017 was the year when we reached 20k, and 2020 was the year we started to go up a lot, sure it kept on until 2021 but it started all in 2020 and broke over the previous ATH in 2020.

So all in all, I always believed that it was 3 year cycle and not a 4 year cycle. I do believe that it could be broken, why shouldn't it be broken, of course it can be, but so far I haven't seen it broken yet.
3117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does all the money from luna have to go somewhere? on: May 28, 2022, 08:25:18 AM
This might be good news, because a big portion of those stablecoins might get converted back to BTC, when the bloodbath is over and the market goes into another bull run.
If this was in 2016-2018 I'd agree, but we already have USDC and USDT. The only reason they'd convert to BTC is if they think that it would go up, in which they'd already be holding BTC if they actually think that.
That is what he is saying as well. That money may have gone to USDT or USDC or BUSD, but at the end of the day when people think that the market is reversing, they could buy it. That's exactly what he said, otherwise why would they buy right now, if they do not think that it wouldn't go up.

So, you guys are saying the same thing, it may not be used to buy bitcoin as of right now like you said, but it could be used later on to buy bitcoin later on when it starts to go back up like he said. Simply put, money doesn't disappear in the market unless withdrawn to bank accounts, which may have happened a bit, but all the other ones are still in the market.

3119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ever heard of this "buy at dip and be rich in the future" on: May 27, 2022, 06:43:52 PM
Many people follow this actually. People think that only the rich people follow this, but the reality is many lives were straightened up thanks to this. I know plenty of friends from telegram (crypto friends, not real ones that I hang out with but just ones that I chat on telegram) that got into crypto early on, waited for a bottom, bought there, and sold at peak or still holding and they are much richer.

What do they do? Pay their debts, buy a house, buy a car, pay for college education of their child, whatever they could do to make their life better. Basically, they are spending it like they are rich, and not investing like they are rich, which I find to be a wrong move.
3120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Pragmatic Play tournament 🏆 70 mBTC prize pool on: May 27, 2022, 04:18:39 PM
Well I wanted something because in every game I played, this week wasn't so good so I have to lose over $200 but I need peace of mind to start with a fresh mind.
Game exclusive Gate Of Olympus and I prefer provider Pragmatic Play to other games, so this week was a little out of luck.

I think the brain needs a little rest.
Still keep imagining lightning far from Gate Of Olympus 500x but it doesn't break. Unlucky.
You could also always give a break. Last time I lost a lot of money, I just gave a break and restarted watching how i met your mother from first episode to last once again. That took me about 3 weeks in total and that was a great situation because it allowed me to reset my mind and I forgot about it all together.

It was a bit hard to not comeback in the episode where they gambled as well, but it was definitely a great situation to be in and I had fun and then I came back with a fresh mind and gambled again. This allows you to get out of that chasing a loss mindset, I was no longer considering that loss and thinking that it was the first time I am gambling.
