All in the title, how to check balance of a bitcoin address throue an easy way.
Can i use bitcoind but without the blockchain since it will take time ? Any unlimited API that allow that ?

Yes,you have two options: 1.Write your own remote procedure calls. 2.Use Api's of any third party developers which comes with limitations.But if you're usage is limited to only checking balance of address then this option is feasible otherwise as you said you need to take special privileges from the API providers. What will happen if Tech Giants Like Google, Microsoft, Amazon starts investing in Bitcoin or Altcoin Mining?
They will end up centralizing the network and controlling bitcoin,in short words - we're fucked. You can write a essay about logical side of the story and prove me I'm wrong but Tech Giants don't do anything besides making money .Plus it wouldn't really make sense for Tech Giants to take up Bitcoin Mining on a large scale since it isn't lucrative in the long run. |

Yeah but for everyday transactions with small amounts it's less painful.It's 2016,people should stop using online wallets especially of the 3rd party exchanges. ToS. They are a centralized service and you have to adhere to strict KYC/AML regulations to use it. Blockchain.info has no such requirements..
Blockchain.info is just a web wallet while coinbase is an exchange. |

Why not write your own API ? Manual RPC's ? Instead of depending on 3rd party crap ? There is no screenshots or trading videos showing real trading bots in action. I think this is still risky investment and possible ponzi with very high return. Fixed high profit rate per day sound too good to be true.

It is just beyond me why people still go to these cloud mining services to purchase these "contracts", shares or hashrates or whatnots. Are there any benefits that I am not aware of?
