3121  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Check for bitcoin balance in C/C++ (An easy and good way to do that) on: December 17, 2016, 08:09:44 AM
Hi
All in the title, how to check balance of a bitcoin address throue an easy way.
Can i use bitcoind but without the blockchain since it will take time ? Any unlimited API that allow that ?
Check for balance and confirmations.
Thank's.
Yes,you have two options:
1.Write your own remote procedure calls.
2.Use Api's of any third party developers which comes with limitations. But if you're usage is limited to only checking balance of address then this option is feasible otherwise as you said you need to take special privileges from the API providers.

3122  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: carlosiness is a SCAMMER on: December 17, 2016, 07:47:21 AM
The least you can do is link their profiles in your post.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=109711

You could have taken the unstrusted negative feedback seriously and saved 90 bucks.Btw,your scam accusation doesn't make sense for now due to inadequate proofs. Please add whatever you can to make it seem like a scam.

However, the question to be asked is: how is OP able to sell the gift cards at a 75% discount? And if they are able to do such a thing, is it legal?
Regardless of it,a scam is a scam.
3123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if Tech Giants get into Bitcoin or Altcoin Mining? on: December 17, 2016, 07:35:55 AM
What will happen if Tech Giants Like Google, Microsoft, Amazon starts investing in Bitcoin or Altcoin Mining?
They will end up centralizing the network and controlling bitcoin,in short words - we're fucked.
You can write a essay about logical side of the story and prove me I'm wrong but Tech Giants don't do anything besides making money .Plus it wouldn't really make sense for Tech Giants to take up Bitcoin Mining on a large scale since it isn't lucrative in  the long run.
3124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Bitcoin price on: December 17, 2016, 07:29:42 AM
lol this is so random here. OP is asking for a place to bet on bitcoin price (like binary option) then you come here and make an outrageous speculation.
let me tell you what, there is a higher chance of bitcoin price going to $5000 by the end of the year than there is for it to go down to $500
The amount of blind posters in bitcointalk is too high.Had that comment from someone in a signature campaign,I would report it to their manager right away. Sad it's another account farming scum.Use of report to moderator button is a must here instead of justifying things.
3125  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is chronobank for real? on: December 16, 2016, 04:35:26 PM
They have thousands of followers on facebook and twitter, they do not need to run social campaigns, and now after they have colloected about $2 millions in one day without social campaigns, they proved that those campaigns have small effect on the project.
Dude ,you are wrong so many levels here ! Like no trace of information remotely found ! Tell me ,if they hadn't invested a couple of 100s on social media promotion, why would I see them on every damn site I open on the internet? If there was bitcoin bitcoin site ,I'm sure I'd find them there.Who said they raised 2 mill in one day ? Please link me to the facts.

Aren't a dozens of channels are already famous on YouTube for this stuff ? I follow couple of them and trust me ,they are EPIC.I have videos of the best and the worst moments of the recent Boston Dota tournament that I was recording live. Not officially applying but if you want I can send it to you for free ; )
3127  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is coinbase account safe for transaction? on: December 15, 2016, 05:37:03 PM
Coinbase will close/block your account for stupid reasons... if they even suspect that you using it against something that are stipulated in their
Yeah but for everyday transactions with small amounts it's less painful. It's 2016,people should stop using online wallets especially of the 3rd party exchanges.

ToS. They are a centralized service and you have to adhere to strict KYC/AML regulations to use it. Blockchain.info has no such requirements..
Blockchain.info is just a web wallet while coinbase is an exchange.

3128  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Simple Web Wallet API on: December 15, 2016, 05:17:35 PM
Why not write your own API ? Manual RPC's ? Instead of depending on 3rd party crap ?
Below are a list of most common API's.I don't know the complexity or constants while using them.I'll leave to you to figure it out.

3129  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Whalt.net | Your own trading bot. on: December 15, 2016, 05:02:25 PM
There is no screenshots or trading videos showing real trading bots in action. I think this is still risky investment and possible ponzi with very high return. Fixed high profit rate per day sound too good to be true.
What videos you want to see? How would you ever know if the bot is in the action or Op is sitting in the corner with a bluetooth mouse clicking at a speed of light ? What ponzi ? What Investment ?
Mate,he is selling a bot. How's that a ponzi ? Do you know what a definition of ponzi is ?
3130  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.01 bec loan (no collateral) Not Funded yet! on: December 15, 2016, 04:48:19 PM
Need 0.01 btc loan for 10days with 10%intrest rate.
Btc address:1LV8n4UvMMpVH3FyGyyDRJw1vuXoaa66tW
The signature campaign you're in,according to the calculations mentioned in their official thread, should make you more than enough money requested in your loan without having to post more than 5 times a week. How difficult is that ? You just repaid your last loan I believe, already asking for another ? Sorry but I think you're trying your build reputation here.
3131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any place to gamble IF the Mayweather vs McGregor fight will happen? on: December 15, 2016, 04:31:22 PM
It might happen, promoter will do everything just to make money and this two fighter have something in common, they both talk trash but the only difference is mayweather is a good runner than McGregor. Not a good fight and a waste of money, I'll pass this one.
Waaht? Watching McGreor and Mayweather is a waste of money ?That seems silly because nothing has been more optimistic than watching these two in a ring.Let's not even talk about betting. Sadly,as you said the winner will be decided by the Bookies and not the champs.

It's never going to happen in my opinion, Mayweather would win at boxing & Conor would tear Floyd to pieces in this Octagon.
After the recent hype and both constantly throwing comments during random interviews gets my hopes high. Not gonna comment on the next part of your post.
3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Bitcoin price on: December 15, 2016, 04:17:48 PM
Hello Bitcoin lovers!

Where I can bet on BTC price? I don't mean "What will be BTC price by the end of 2016,2017 etc?" bets. I would like to bet on quick changes of BTC price (dollars).

Thank you!
There is much sophisticated term used to describe Bitcoin Price Gambling, that is "Trading".Right term you should be looking for.Not quite literally but leads the same way.If you're investing money buying bitcoins with the hopes of price hiking in the future, maybe in the next 2 hours or 2 years, you're taking a risk with no certain thesis ie .relying on your luck. You know where to find such sites. 3133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead / Dying Coins you want revived on: December 15, 2016, 04:11:45 PM
If you have a coin you think is good and want it revived/ chain fixed let me know in this thread.
What can you do about it little newblet ? The coins died for a reason, just like Jesus, for betterment of the humanity.Let's focus more on the projects with potential.Oh for the answer, please resurrect Z-Cash.It's on the verge of becoming extinct.
3134  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ☠ Project in dev: mmorpg sci-fi fantasy adventure game w/ pvp ☠ on: December 15, 2016, 03:58:15 PM
Boy,if this post was on reddit,it would have got insane upvotes by now!
Did someone ever tell you you're a nice story teller ?Okay,on-topic now :

Are the graphics still in the development phase or the game's UI is something like the terminal?
From the screenshots on your website, the game does look like a bit technical to me,a step ahead of regular gamers but of course bitcoiners love that!
How many developers are contributing currently ?Don't tell me you've coded the thing alone ?
Btw,I can jump in if you need any help with the development.
3135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maidsafe is future! on: December 14, 2016, 06:51:58 PM
We all will need to use it! Thanks devs!   Hope its go live asap!

ShitCoin Detector Tactics :

1.A cheap whitebox video with a voice of a 30 year old robot using fancy terms.
2.Repetitive use of keywords like "decentralization" "anonymous" "encryption".
3.False promises of taking over the digital currency market by storm.
4.Privacy is their primary concerns, even if it means their dev's having full access to your private keys.
4.Investment ? No way you're taking a loss on this one!

@OP,tell us something we don't know.
3136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Brand new pirate game! on: December 14, 2016, 06:39:24 PM
Sign up thing is kinda turn off when you have newly launched the game.I don't like revealing my email address or password combinations on newly launched sites until I'm left with no options.Because once email is submitted,it opens up for all sorts of promotional crap.Sorry I couldn't check your site out because it was too much time consuming to make an account.Maybe give us a demo play option ? I was really intrigued by the description and wanted to check it out so bad.
3137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -----SCAM ALERT, 99.9% of coins below this line are scams------ on: December 10, 2016, 06:06:24 AM
Stick to BTC and LTC for this decade until blockchain evolves from infancy.  Everything else is flashy P&D smoke and mirror scam.
Didn't you mean *R&D ?Even the developers know it is a pump and dump trail, helps them make a few bucks which is not so bad since we have lot of idiots to fall for anything. However add Monero to the list of good coins, they aren't flashy enough.
3138  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for 1-4 high-end Bitcoin users on: December 10, 2016, 05:41:14 AM
Looking for 1-4 Bitcoin users that would be interested in starting up an online Bitcoin related project.
Not asking to share your idea but at least a gist is expected.

Prefer that your net worth of Bitcoins that you own or have access to is at least $100,000, as mine is and in order for all founders to profit heavily, we will need decent starting capital. ( not to spend) just have access to it.
Starts to sound shady here. You need a heavy starting capital but you won't spend it ? What difference would it make if a person claims to be having that capital but it doesn't actually exist ? He wouldn't have to spend so he may just fake it.

So if you are interested in co-founding a website/ service that you can expect to double your net worth in around a year, please contact me. I'm sorry to lower balance people, but this project really does require a lot of capital.                                                           Also I feel that I should add: my username on LocalBitcoins is poopyhead2000 as well. Just for some added validity to my post.
Co founding a company without spending a dollar just but proving you have sufficient ? Couldn't get more lame.
3139  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: forgot my password on: December 10, 2016, 04:49:29 AM
is there anyway to recover my password with my masterkey?
What exactly did you forget ? The pass phrase you were suppose to write down while making your account ? Or just the system password ?

Case 1 : If you still have the pass phrase, follow the steps mentioned here https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/580

Case 2 : If you don't have your pass phrase I'm afraid nothing much could be done.
3140  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining vs. Hosted Mining on: December 10, 2016, 04:44:45 AM
It is just beyond me why people still go to these cloud mining services to purchase these "contracts", shares or hashrates or whatnots. Are there any benefits that I am not aware of?
->Accepting low investments with high yielding fake promises.
->A centralized hub for verifying their hash rates and the community support obviously.
->People tend to trust a third party which operates as a registered company over an individual with no funds to back them up.
