2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Korea Gov. will ban all kinds of ICO on: September 30, 2017, 05:58:13 AM
http://v.media.daum.net/v/20170929100212900

What it says is "Korea will ban any kind of ICO." It is official from the Government.

Recall what happened when China banned all the ICO.

Not just Korea the trend is being followed by other Asian Countries too ! India is next in the line to do it and mostly all the ICO scammers from India will have a hard time coming clean. It's a good news in a way.I totally support the moment to put a ban on ICO scammers.
2182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Block chain Cross Border Funds Transfer on: September 30, 2017, 05:45:43 AM
Let's say I'm in country A and I wish to move some funds to some person in country B. I understand the flow is through the pocket and obstruct series. But how does the physiological movement of funds takes place??
Do you want to know the technical aspects of it ? Physiological movement applies in what context here ?

Also, like in the example of cross-border payments you can find banks involved, so in the example of block overly can there be some involvement of banks too ??
That isn't relevant since block-chain has completely a separate structure than that of the banks. The only partial involvement I could see are the miners.

Lastly, how will be the exchange-rate decided and charge chose centered on what parameters ??
Obviously, just like every other asset - Demand and Supply!
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't crypto going mainstream? on: September 29, 2017, 09:15:02 PM
I don't get what's holding us back. Every time I talk about crypto with a family member or someone at work their eyes glaze over.
Glaze over in a positive way or negative ? I'll take that as an compliment if I were you.Anyway, maybe you should not talk about cryptos with you family members then ? Why would you if they oppose the concept that much ?

Which makes me wonder - why are we still on the fringe? What could we do to take blockchain technology and make it accessible for everyone?
Let's not even go there, the conversation will be too philosophical.Bloack-chain can/cannot be a future ,there is no guarantee of the former.

What do you think?
You should stop worrying about the factors that don't really matter.
2184  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Solidity Developer In your Service on: September 29, 2017, 09:09:34 PM
Hello Jason. We are interested in your experience. We want to invite you to become a technical Director (CTO) in our project http://crowdsale.icoplate.com . How can we discuss the proposal?
I'm not sure if you're trolling or just being a spammer but the account mentioned in the above post is sold to another person already. They were an alt of a famous scammer as pointed out by one of the reputed members of the forum.I request you to not initiate any deals with them.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I start gambling site? on: September 29, 2017, 09:05:08 PM

I also agree here. I suggest that do not invest your money into gambling especially you want to come up to an earning profit, then gambling is not a circulating site for money, because once player won, then the edge of the site will lose too. Better search for more investing one, than gambling. Also you need to work hard in order to make visitors to your site.
Depends which gambling websites you're investing into as well. For instance, investors on crypto-games.net always had a p[positive review when asked about investing on a gambling site.

That's not enough for starting your own gambling site. You need to have a bigger capital for this to get more gamblers that will come back to you all of the time. Why not add some more fund on it or you can invest that fund first in trading and just grow it. Once you have doubled it maybe you can now start as I really can't see that there will be a smooth operation on that budget. I'm not trying to give you some false hope but with that budget you are near to early closure.
Funds, idea and rest of the part is secondary. The market is quite saturated today and your competitors are already established in the market.Do you have the force to beat them ? Not anytime soon I reckon.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: lucky ! does it influences by a woman beside of us? on: September 28, 2017, 09:10:24 PM
Unfortunately many people fall victim of that kind of thinking, if something positive happens to them while they are wearing a shirt, and then that becomes their lucky shirt, when anyone that is reasonable will know that there is no way a shirt influenced the outcome of a particular event.
That is called a Logical Fallacy or a Gambler's fallacy in the recent days.

But most often. People become lucky once they are happy. And one thing can boost them to become happy is the one they love or girlfriend. I don't actually believe on lucky charms to use in gambling. But I'm using something or someone as a motivation to win. Having a purpose really helps you to clear your goal.
lol get a job or something man! No matter what purpose you have, the dice ain't going to roll in your favour. You'll need to realise how random gambling is and all your external variables don't matter.Put that in your cranium.
2187  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need help making my first volume monitor bot on: September 28, 2017, 09:00:08 PM
Hello! I'm a beginner programmer and trader, i would like to start a project on my own: a volume monitor. Something like Cryptgany or Cryptoping but with my own variables. The fact is that i don't know where to start. I have been told to use Bittrex and python, but how could i put all of this together? Is there a source or a tutorial where i could learn? Thanks in advance for your help.
There is no specific tutorial just for making a trading bot, even if there is I would't recommend you to use one since you'll have no idea how it would work.
How good are your programming fundamentals ? You certainly need to know the basics of programming to start learning python.

If you have planned to learn while you code,it won't work unless you know what's what. That is again basics of programming.Once you are fully aware of functions, classes, etc you can head over to https://automatetheboringstuff.com/ and see how they are automating things. The website has tons of examples which you can use as a reference to code your trading bot.
2188  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Warning] About Coinomi on: September 28, 2017, 08:54:45 PM
This is a heads up for those who don't browse Reddit frequently and are not aware of the current situation: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/72yvnj/so_coinomis_official_response_on_the/
The developer who found the exploit was accused of spreading FUD by Coinomi and they also blocked him from Twitter even though he posted this almost two weeks ago: https://github.com/Coinomi/coinomi-android/issues/213 I would advice everyone to stop using their wallet for the meantime, I'm sure you could find better alternatives until this get fixed (If they ever do it).
Thanks for sharing it around.I went through the issue raised on their GH page and it seems quite relevant.Even their official contributor isn't sure if they are using an SSL.However,I don't think that issue is likely to broadcast your private keys over the network. From the first couple of comments only the public addresses are being broadcasted.Let's see how this turns out.

Sorry, but don't understand, what's the issue. Are seeds or private keys of all addresses published? Only see responses, not the issue itself.
You have to read the issue from the day it was raised, don't just read the comments. Also check the issues those were referenced in that thread.
2189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Version.9.11 brings the new 9/11 betting Challenge 1 Bitcoin! on: September 28, 2017, 08:46:43 PM
Interesting .I'll be watching the thread provided you give us all the information about your bets like the bet link and the amount staked.I have seen too many failed attempts on the same goals as yours in the same section from professional sport betters.Don't want to demotivate you ,just speaking practically.
2190  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Processor for bitcoins on: September 28, 2017, 08:35:53 PM
I am launching a poker room very soon and was wondering if someone could assist me with which service to use for processing deposits/withdrawals with bitcoins.
Send me a message I'll help you plan out the entire architecture for free.
If you are going to process a large number of transactions on a daily basis, you shouldn't be relying on third party resources.Write your own API's.

I am aware that many wallets, like blockchain.info have APIs, but if any of you have experience with online gaming, especially poker and could assist me with best possible processor for such transactions, and what are the benefits in using the aforementioned company.
Don't use any, write your own. Those 'companies' have limitations which you don' want. Moreover, you cannot rely on those API's as the data grows.

I can develop for you site your own independent from 3rd parties processor and WITHOUT bitcoind needed or similar. Just pure php.  Smiley
Sure. What else can you lie about ? Oh wait you will do it for cheap like 3k per hour right ? Idiot.
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Poll]what is the right warning to say to someone who gambles/invests all he has on: September 27, 2017, 07:00:08 PM
what is the right sentence/warning to say to someone who gambles/invests all he has?

IMHO it is a very important sentence and warning for all Investors and Gamblers

please take it serious and vote accordingly

thank you for participating

The thread would make more sense if we had a choice to add our own options to that list because right now I feel that list is inaccurate and I don't really like that approach when convincing someone not to gamble. Try that on a addicted gambler,he'd say he's lived his entire hearing that crap and this time isn't special.

On a serious note, gambling shouldn't be overlooked upon, one must take proper mental treatment if they're unable to get over the addiction.
2192  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: trying to create same web as localbitcoins/paxful, got problem help pls on: September 27, 2017, 06:43:57 PM
how they generate new bitcoin address for every customers,
what payment gateway or service they used for it?
Depends. Those big names use their own API.You can either have your own API or use any third party services which of course come with limitations.

and how to put options to auto release bitcoins once seller marked trade finished succesfully?

and your recommendations please

You better hire a developer.Don't think your coding skills are good enough to write an exchange.People are going to save their money on your website. You cannot experiment your programming skills there.
2193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which Websites and Apps Do You Use to Get Bitcoin/Crypto Info? on: September 23, 2017, 12:12:10 PM
Depends what information you are looking for.To be updated on the technical side of the project ,following the projects official blog/website is more than enough.Coinbase ,Reddit are sufficient to keep updated with the latest happenings in the crypto scene.I don’t know about price charts and stuff since they don’t matter.
2194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Paying Signature Campaign on: September 23, 2017, 12:07:44 PM
Hello everyone; which is the best paying signature campaign for a junior member. And how else can I earn some money on this platform?
Thanks.
No signature  campaign pays good for junior members. If you are looking to make at lest 0.01 bitcoins per week ,very few signature campaigns pay that starting from member ranks. For now there are a lot of good opportunities to make easy bitcoins like signature design ,web development and others.Stop being lazy ,pick up a skill.
2195  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MEDX is officially a fraud with a case been filed on: September 23, 2017, 12:02:56 PM
The title reads case has been filed.I don’t see any relevant information about the case ? Are you taking an initiative to file the case ? CasioK is involved with alt accounts to pump the threads , I don’t know if he’s directly involved with the ICO.I would like to see how this turns out .Watching.
2196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoin stoke my deposit on: September 23, 2017, 11:03:35 AM
Localbitcoin support is shit nowadays, never getting support by them,
sadly you have lost your BTC
Never disappointed by their support or features. They have always been very responsive towards my queries.

Quote
I withdrew 0.128 btc and by mistake I chose bitcoincash.
I realize this is my fault and when I looked at Localbitcoin my bitcoin was not there. Then I realized I mist have withdraw bitcoincash by mistake. I told myself it will be ok its an easy mistake to make and easy to reverse I'm sure localbitcoin will fix this after all they sre legit and I have been using them for 2 years they will help me they wouldn't keep it.
How's that an easy mistake ?Those are literally two separate coins.Anyway use the specified format to frame your accusation.I don't think community can help you since localbitcoins doesn't actively run a service here.I don't understand why you expect localbitcoins to do.
2197  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to automate Bounty campaign? on: September 23, 2017, 10:59:09 AM
There are several people here do some automated bounty campaigns and try to seek them on service section and post that you want this service but expect that you will pay some huge rewards for the maker since its not an easy job to automate all things up in the camp. And maybe try to contact those campaign who run automatically since I'd see some of them from the past.
Those seen in the past don't show 100% results. You can take Bitmixer campaign for example, even though they had automated post counting they replied on Lauda to check post quality and make sure no spam is generated from the participants.

You cannot really automate it since you have to keep track of the post of all the bounty earners.
Post counting and payouts can be automated but not the quality check.AI isn't that intelligent yet.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin and Crypto Currencies the great equalizer? on: September 23, 2017, 06:36:46 AM
For long the banks have ruled organisations and organisations and businesses the Government.
So to say that the banks have had their monopoly for far too long now. The cats out in the open and every one can see the skeletons in their closet.
What's your point ? The banks still dominate the market, don't think they're going anywhere for the next 100 years..

Do you think that the Bitcoin revolution will server as the great equalizer?
Is the Crypto revolution revolution going to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich; the market and the consumer?
Once it starts affecting the big businesses or the market designed by the centralised government. They will simply ban bitcoins, ban shut down exchanges and impose strict laws on the regulation of bitcoin .Unfortunately that's how the system is designed..
2199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Serial Carder/Scammer - kimoar87 - 300$ on: September 23, 2017, 06:29:44 AM
Let's go back in time,shall we ?

When you opened this thread,

I'm looking to buy Amazon.com GC for 75%. I have no intentions on going first unless you are more trusted then me, an escrow is always fine as long as you pay the fees. If you are not trusted, you should also provide a proof that you are selling legit gift cards.

My first comment was,

I'm looking to buy Amazon.com GC for 75%.

, you should also provide a proof that you are selling legit gift cards.
Well, those two lines don't go hand in hand. Why would someone sell something legit and take a loss that big ? If he has acquired cards from the legit sources, don't think they would that cheap.

Seems like the case here.If you are looking to buy something 75% off it's original price, either it's fake or doesn't exist.I don't see no harm in buying it directly from amazon.Sorry for your loss.

2200  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info problem on: September 23, 2017, 06:23:53 AM
This is how I was using that wallet!
The browser remembered the password and that HDD got burned and now I have a new HDD.
The password is saved ... but I can't access it
Just so you know, passwords stored in the chrome cache doesn't necessarily reside on a HDD.They are stored according to account preferences as well,
Did you try installing the browser again, logging in from the same account and checking out the saved passwords ? You might find something there.

Which browser did you use ? Did you install the browser in the default C://Program files or one of the locations on HDD?
