2161  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ICOmonk - Community based ratings and feedbacks on ICOs on: October 06, 2017, 07:10:24 PM
Nice way to make money. Wink
So you're telling me all those feedback's/reviews mentioned on the website would be personal experience ? I doubt it because on a place where people get paid a few cents to write fake reviews about services on websites like yelp/amazon it wouldn't be hard to get your ICO's hyped up by paying for fake feedback.Unless you're validating them personally, but again even you have to make money.
2162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain? on: October 06, 2017, 07:06:10 PM
my opinion . Blockchain will be adopted by central banks and cryptographically secured currencies will become widely used.
Blockchain could replace central banks.
Real risks remain for banks that choose to get involved with cryptocurrency firms.
Blockchain technology could reduce the UBS's infrastructure costs in cross-border payments, securities trading and regulatory compliance by as much as $20 billion a year by 2022.
- Isn't it already adopted by number of big names ?
- Banks will never use bitcoins, they would have their own crypto coming up.Wish them luck with that.Failure in advance.
- Only if they adopt to bitcoin.Don't think it's likely to happen.Sorry I disagree with you,I have exactly opposite thoughts on the subject. The booming prices, commercialisation isn't good for bitcoin.
2163  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Identity manager in the making - your thoughts? on: October 06, 2017, 03:25:20 PM
We’ve been working for a few months now on a tool to change the way people sign in online and keep their personal information secure.

This is our first step towards a decentralized identity solution. We want to create something useful, so we’re keen to get some initial feedback: https://lynxid.tech

What do you think - does it look like we are heading down the right path?
I wish you could have listed the details down here instead of just linking us to your project.
To start with, you took a good initiative to bring this into attention of the general public.People often don't realise the mistake of signing up on random websites with their personal information.Being a hardcore decentralisation supporter,I think it's very important to protect your identity online. That also means,no third party whatsoever should be used to trust your information with.I'll check out the webpage soon.
2164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 06, 2017, 01:40:07 PM
In this case Bitcoin is a speculation which means it is super risky to turn all of your money to Bitcoins.
You need to diversify your investment, speculation should be the least of your investment if you are a sane person. But if you are a risk taker then I won't be shocked if you have more speculation investment than a safe investment.
Any investment comes with a risk, remember that!
'You need to diversify your investment' what does that imply ? To not only invest in bitcoins but also expand your horizons into the shitcoin market ? That could be riskier than anything else. Now if you study the graphs, you'd know statistically there is less risk involved when investing into bitcoins than any other coin.

Yes, it's risky, so that I recommend to divide your funds like 80% into bitcoin, and the rest as your backup funds, just in case.
As you said this funds just sits in the Bank and do nothing, so it's safe to put it into bitcoin, especially for long term.
It's better to keep your funds in bitcoin than put it in bank with all of their interest. I'm sure bitcoin price will reach at least $8000 in the next year, so your funds will be doubled within a year.
I could really stab myself 100 times before having to meet such personalities on biitcointalk lol Do you guys even have brains ? Even if you do,does your logical part even work ? Really man ,you should stop posting,
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chaucha: Educational cryptocurrency for Latin America on: October 05, 2017, 07:44:42 PM
I like the idea but the market you have targeted is very small.I don;t know if you're planing an ICO or already have a back up for the project to scale but being the only person in the team makes me doubt if you will ever go anywhere. There is too much to do for a single brain. You should maybe find a co-founder.I'm surprised you even got the wallets and everything sorted out at this stage.
2166  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest Crowdfunded Casino on: October 05, 2017, 07:20:27 PM
Is there any chance that you could also add some auto-play functionality to the roulette on Crypto-Games?
I don't think there's a bot available for this, right? Even if there was, I'm not a big fan of having to install an app on my pc just for this.
You can use the in-browser console to set up a simple auto betting.
Place your chips on the numbers you want to bet, then open the console (via right click on the game table) and enter
Code:
var autoBet = setInterval(spin, 1000);
Once you want to stop betting, enter
Code:
clearInterval(autoBet);
The 1000 is the delay in this case, which you can increase to slow down your autobet, but shouldn't decrease.

Credits to minifrij for this quick and easy script Smiley
Thanks, that actually solves it completely, can still use my mouse when doing this at least Smiley
For anyone else interested: right click on game table > click on 'inspect element' (Chrome) > click on the console tab.
There's a plinko script that works in a similar way.

Go to plinko page, right click > Inspect Element > Console
Insert this script:
Code:
var autoBet = setInterval(function(){ document.getElementById('plinkoframe').contentWindow.addBallProduction(2); }, 1000);
The number inside addBallProduction() is which ball you are playing:
0 = Green, 1 = Red, 2 = Blue, 3 = Yellow
The number at the end (1000) is the number of ms you want between each roll. 1000 = 1 second. I wouldn't go below 500.

To cancel, open the console again and enter
Code:
clearInterval(autoBet);

Once again, courtesy of minifrij, thanks.
Sorry if I'm missing out on anything but being a JavaScript Programmer,we consider injecting code through console which actually manipulates the outcome is taken as a serious security flaw.Unless of course you have taken special steps to prevent the script from the malicious code. Not to mention but languages like ReactJs come with inbuilt components that don't expose the behaviour to the console at all.Anyway, just my two cents.
2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Created an iOS app to track the upcoming bitcoin forks on: October 05, 2017, 05:44:10 PM
Hey guys thought you might be interested in an app I made to track Bitcoin vs BCH and the other forks that are coming very shortly. It's called Bitcoin Wars and can be found on the app store here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bitcoinwars-bitcoin-moon-race/id1280167160?mt=8
You're the first coder I have come across on bitcointalk who made an 'bitcoin' application for Ios before Android.Usually it's other way around.Look at coinnomi, already 3k+ download on the Android app store still not on Ios.

Thanks for checking it out and any feedback is appreciated. I already plan on moving the graphs to another page once the additional forks are created.
Honestly, why BCH ? How difficult it is to keep track of the upcoming forks ? I mean do we really need an app for something that 'petty' ? Boy,technology is making people lazy.

Gotta start somewhere and when you're an iOS developer you start there. Looking to port to Android in the near future.

BCH is one of the main forks that came from Bitcoin so of course we're going to include it. Figured it would be a good way to keep track of all the upcoming forks with 2x coming around and Bitcoin gold. Makes it convenient and easy to see how everything is doing against BTC.

- Absolutely! If you're doing for skill sakes, you can ignore the product part.Too less iOs apps in the app store that gives me a concise view of selective alt-coins.Might as wanna try something like that.
- Never knew about bitcoin Gold. Lips sealed I finally figured out one feasible reason to download the app.  Smiley Good luck for your upcoming projects.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your biggest casino win? on: October 05, 2017, 05:39:40 PM
I won 0.10BTC just with 0.0001BTC in bet when I was playing one video slot in cloudbet but I can't remember the exact date of that winning. I tried to withdraw those winning but I ended up losing all of it when trying to win similar jackpot once again  Grin

I never won anything above that in terms of % profit with single role in online casino.
Sounds like bullcrap to me.Not the part where you won 0.10 but the part where you tried to play it again thinking you'd win.Who relies so much on slots ?

my biggest win when i play in casino in the poker game.i won almost 20k in that night that is my lucky day i am so happy for that.many think i buy for that money.20k that i won is the biggest money i get in gambling.i like going to casino for me to intertain and win lot money
Shit Posting Level - Indonesian.

After reading the thread for a bit,I think OP should update the question to - What was the biggest casino win you had, which you could prove.Otherwise, people will just come up with unrealistic replies to promote shitty sites.
2169  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone know if....... on: October 05, 2017, 05:05:32 PM
.....there are any sportsbooks out there that allow you to deposit with a card and withdraw to a bitcoin wallet and vice versa?
Thanks in advance.
Why would you wanna do that ? I can see couple of loopholes with the process that might land you in trouble if gambling is totally prohibited in your country.
 - You deposit on a sportsbook with your card that is ultimately linked to your bank account.Bank can certainly trace where your funds went.
 - Even if you withdraw using bitcoins,I'm pretty sure you will want them back in fiat.
 - Sounds like money laundering to me.And that's what the banks would think.
 - Instead, just use exchanges to buy bitcoins using your card and gamble after.

2171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins: I sent standard transfer instead of instant transfer. What to do? on: September 30, 2017, 07:32:17 AM
Would obviously hate to be scammed. What options do I have?
Does that make any difference ?  I don't think so...

I think you transfer has not been confirmed yet on localbitcoins right?
If this is the question you are seeking answer for, then be sure localbitcoins is one of the trusted peer-peer exchanger with millions of exchangers processing transfers regularly without facing negative issues.

Yes but if his transfer doesn't arrive to another party that's where the problem starts.Actually,OP is a lazy tard who wouldn't explain what happened and assumes everyone understands everything with a one liner.I wouldn't be surprised anyway. Sigh
2172  Economy / Services / Re: Need help banning/spamming a scammers thread on: September 30, 2017, 07:26:48 AM
If you have proofs against the user you can make a thread here, many users have neg rated him for same reason I doubt any user will use his service if they look at his trust rating.
He doesn't need to provide any additional proofs since according to my trust settings the account is already tagged meaning someone would have already provided sufficient proofs to have the user tagged.Newbies don't really know about the trust ratings and they're the one's who fall victim to such petty scams.
2173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: September 30, 2017, 06:58:09 AM
I'm right here bitches...

There's no stash.

There's no economy.

There's only the people.
Thank my my lord for blessing us with a system to make people instant rich! We all have been waiting for such a sophisticated Ponzi since forever !

No one knows who Satoshi really is. someone here on the forum said that Satoshi is DPR aka Dead Pirate Roberts (the one who did the blackmarket also known as silkroad). the reason he hide his own identity is he has alot of death threats if he shows up on public due to his 1m worth of Bitcoins.
lol Mike isn't that intelligent.Had he been he wouldn't get caught selling drugs to kids from a local public library. No offence but I like Mike. Smiley
2174  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which wallet is best on: September 30, 2017, 06:55:19 AM
You should add electrum, jaxx, exodus etc in your poll.

Out of all wallets listed in poll, I am using and love blockchain wallet because they encrypt your wallet file and never store your private key in their server.
Jaxx have had multiple hack attempts in the past and exodus isn't a desktop application since it runs as an instance of chrome on your OS.Meaning, they aren't to be trusted.

I am using blockchain and coins.ph, for me these two wallet is good I do not have any bad experience while using these wallets but since I am from Philippines and coins.ph is our local bitcoin wallet that is why this wallet I used many times because it has many services that fits in my daily living also it gives me instant business; and I used blockchain to received bitcoin from other method I used to make bitcoin, and I am looking for other bitcoin wallet which has small transaction fee also I used it to save my other bitcoin for my future.
There is no wallet with small transaction fees dude, you have to check the fees according to the current network congestion and decide the fees accordingly. You shouldn't be using bitcoins if you don't know the difference.
2175  Economy / Reputation / Re: Klf ( Legndary) try to buy an account ( HACKED ACCOUNT) on: September 30, 2017, 06:48:43 AM
Hello,

I do agree that I sent him a message to buy what he was trying to sell and notice that his account was not in a good condition so turn down that sale.

Regardless, being a legendary member buying an account on the forum doesn't really set a good example to the other forum members.I don't really want to know what you were buying an account for but certainly does makes you less reputable in some or the other way.People have different ways to look at this but I personally don't encourage a legendary member to buy accounts.
2176  Economy / Services / Re: Need help banning/spamming a scammers thread on: September 30, 2017, 06:44:04 AM
So there is this scammer that claim to sell digital goods on this forum which he scams people. He has scammed so many on this forum including myself. I am tired of it and I have been constantly posting scam alerts on his threads. However, this lowlife, uses a self moderated thread, and constantly deletes all the comments from the people that were scammed. I managed to block one of his account and thread, but now he moved on to another. Let me know what you can do for me so we can ban this scammer so people don't lose anymore money. I am willing to pay for like a auto posting script that once he deleted my message that it re-posts it automatically. You can find his fake thread here and he goes by name name of "Jacc" for this one for now.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2202092.0

This lowlife piece of sh*t needs to go and we need to save other members from getting scammed, or at least try to.
- Scamming is not against bitcointalk's rules. You are free to do whatever you want  *decentralised approach*
 - The said account is already tagged by the DT members and that's the best forum members can probably do.
 - Even if after seeing those negs and negative feedback people choose to trade with him ,then it's not really out fault.Such idiots deserved to get scammed to know what risks they're taking while dealing with negative tagged members by the DT.
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Wallet takes 98% RAM resource on: September 30, 2017, 06:39:52 AM
Hello,
I am new at Cryptocurrency, I have just installed Ethereum Wallet in my personal computer and run it..
But it seems to burn 98% of my computer's RAM resource (my PC has about 3GB RAM, geth.exe uses 2.3GB RAM). It causes my computer very slow/hangup.
Could you give me some advice?
Thank you so much!

Image:
You should provide us with more details like,
 - What kernal you're using - Seems very old from the picture above.
 - Did you install the correct build that x64 x32 ?
 - Also 3 GB ram in 2017 is kind outdated you better move to a bigger one.

Try cleaning up your cache/unused partitions.
2178  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What happened to blockr.io explorer? on: September 30, 2017, 06:36:40 AM
I am using https://www.blockr.io/ API a lot but recently I noticed when I make a call I get an error and visiting the site redirects me to coinbase.com!
Weird.I tried tracing the redirect but that didn't lead me to anything! This is surprising because according to the link it should show coinbase. The google doesn't show up any relevant results for blockr.io either however after little bit of tinkering around with the domain,I realised this :

Quote
Blockr.io
Company
blockr.io
Founded: 2013
Parent organization: Coinbase
Seems completely fair and they can do whatever the want with blockr.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on crypto sites on: September 30, 2017, 06:16:37 AM
I’ve been thinking if there are any crypto casinos which offer responsible gambling features for players. We have seen many different posts in this forum where people report losing too much or playing too much.
Every gambling website has a sub-topic in the footer that says,if you are addicted to gambling please click here or something along those lines.Least do people care about that anyway.I mean all the cigarette packs have pictures of people with cancer on it but people smoke it anyway.

In most fiat online casinos, at least in the major ones, people can set up weekly or monthly deposit limits and they can self-exclude themselves from playing for a certain period of time. This is good for people with problems of self-control because they can enjoy regular play without getting in big trouble.
You can do that on online casinos as well.In fiat casinos you always have people in general to lure into putting more.Digital casinos can't actively do that! People with no self-control should go to a therapist and not on a gambling website.

I’ve only played in 777coin.com and there doesn’t seem to be any feature like that, although you can email them and maybe ask for self-exclusion.
Do you know any crypto casino with those kinds of features? Do you think it would be good? What are your views on this?
Message Stunna and give him your suggestion.
2180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Warning] About Coinomi on: September 30, 2017, 06:04:03 AM
You have Exodus which support multiple coins as well but they only work in Desktop for the moment and there is Jaxx which you probably heard of before but they also faced a hack in the past (I believe private keys are stored in their servers) but they support phones so It's up to you.
I would not recommend a Desktop wallet built on Electron to anyone. If you know how electron works, their source code is installed on the desktop since it doesn't make any native apps and only runs an instance of a chrome browser on a windows PC.Code security is none,I don't even know how people trust such apps wit their private keys.

Nah I don't want to use Jaxx, have heard about it before no point of switching to a wallet already with a history of hacks. Would check out exodus. Thanks.
Don't.Exodus is equally prone to all those vulnerable hacks and certainly  doesn't belong in  the category of 'Safe Wallets'.
