2201  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Wally - The HODL Wallet on: September 23, 2017, 06:18:32 AM
Couple of questions -

1.If there no private key technically speaking, how does one transfer the coins should he choose to spend them ?
2.The data resides on the browsers storage,in the situations where if that data is lost, does a user loses access to all his coins ?
3.Since everything resides on the browser, how difficult it is for a native extension to access the data ?
2202  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: September 23, 2017, 06:13:58 AM
I don't think it is legal to sell account...seeing this thread for the first time.
It isn't against the terms but doesn't mean you can.Selling accounts is frowned upon therefore shouldn't be entertained.

I set the UID and clicked the button then immediately the UID disappeared and the code appeared in the search bar. That has to be a problem, I think most users are not looking for the price of their account when they use it
Back to top, the site is more accurate now, I do not know if it just involves a huge increase in bitcoin prices> 2x or other factors in effect. I have tried 4 times or more, I deleted the cache (I'm using Firefox the final version) but failed. Has anyone faced the same problem or is mine and something I have to do to fix it?
Hero Member in the past when the price is about 200 dollars and now you can even get 0.1 btc depending on the seller and now at this high price no one can afford to buy a Hero Member account
As per my conversation with the OP,he isn't developing the website anymore. It tends to become buggy at times, you can see the console logs for yourself. The only way to fix those issues is to fork it from the repo and develop it locally.
2203  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info problem on: September 22, 2017, 07:31:59 PM
Have a word with the Blockchain.info team on their facebook page if possible.Your chances of recovering the password are nearly zero. That's why they warn you 100 times to back-up your privat ekeys.

Contact their support and ask them for a copy of the wallet file that matches your ID although that might be password protected which will cause problems.
Do you know anything at all about the password? Length, specific characters?
They don't store wallet files on the server as it is stored on the client site. They can't get his password either since password are hashed while storing in databases so you can't really decode them to their original format.

Try an find someone here with a GPU who can attempt to mine the password for you (or you can do it yourself if you have a GPU that's powerful enough).
What do you mean by simple? As in its a fairly short password or that it'll probably contain just one word?
That's just lame dude, you can use a Miner if you know the password but forgot the order or combinations.Like you kept your password as foobaroo but you can't get the exact order while remembering it again.
2204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone know best and reliable bitcoin mixer? on: September 22, 2017, 07:25:51 PM
Right now, chipmixer seems to be unreachable. Or is the link in your signature wrong?
Yes,they're down! I cross-checked with other browsers.

ooo. the link in my signature is definitely correct. They've been having DDoS problems recently unfortunately. Their Tor service wasn't unaffected though. Chipmixer's tor URL is http://chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion/ if you're interested.
I doubt if it's really a Ddos attack because site is not even trying to make an attempt to connect to the server. In case of an DDos attack, the website tries to connect to the server and responds with an error like 'CANNOT BE REACHED-SERVER TAKING TOO LONG TO RESPOND' usually the case with botnet/Ddos attack.
Anyway for whatever reasons the website is down isn't a good sign. They must come up with measures to mitigate such simple attacks.
2205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List coins at exchanges just after ICO - is it good sign? on: September 22, 2017, 07:18:00 PM
Hello!

We know that a lot of tokens drop price when listed in exchanges just after ICO. I do not understand why companies list tokens immediately.

What do you think?
I'm not going to go into details but ICO's do have connections with the exchanges before releasing the tokens during their ICO/Pre-ICO.Like I have known  ICO's which update stuff like 'In Talks with Poloniex to have your coin on an exchange'.Secondly bounty whores dump the coin as soon as the ICO ends ,doesn't matter much but kinda is reflected on the price.
2206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the AltCoin investment space be broken up into Sectors? on: September 22, 2017, 07:14:39 PM
For those familiar with stocks, you are probably aware that the stock market is divided in 10 main sectors, ... financials, industrials, utilities, energy, healthcare, etc...
Not very proficient with those terms but Nifty is all I trust in or stay updated with.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a website or project that has broken down altcoins by sectors ... or if anyone has considered what the major sectors could be (pure currency, platforms, gambling, etc.), what coin is the sector leader, etc.

Could be an interesting project.
Sounds like an interesting project indeed. But I doubt a lot of ICO's would make up the list since we barely have two ICO's in the healthcare sector (at least that I know of). What is the end goal of the project anyway ? You want to just organise them or allow buying/selling tokens ?
2207  Economy / Lending / Re: NEED 3BTC LOAN. on: September 22, 2017, 06:58:05 PM
Hi, I need a 3BTC loan payable in 3 years.

Funds will be used for building a mining rig and hopefully expand into a full data center in the Philippines.
The data center will then soon be a cloud mining platform.

We have a 1ksqm lot for the first data center location.
By the time your mining rig comes into picture, those 3 bitcoins would be worth 6.I don;t know how else to convey how terrible your idea is.It's just hurts my soul to see someone that stupid exists on the forum.Give up your idea, you can't afford it.Even if you did,not sure you should continue with it.

The only thing sensible about your thread is that email address.Very creative,I'll start making such email addresses too!
2208  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🃏🃏 BitcoinGambling.info ^A New Site with crypto gambling information^ on: September 22, 2017, 06:47:18 PM
1st Bug on the website discovered : http://gamblingbitcoin.info/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fgamblingbitcoin.info%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
Open Admin Login ,could open up so many back doors for hackers. Not that you have any valuable information on the website but you should fix it.

I'm surprised Crypto-Games.net isn't included in your list of 'Top Casinos' might as well want to add that.
I wouldn't take your blog seriously unless you start taking all the other casinos into consideration without being unfair.
2209  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com is not a safe gambling site on: September 22, 2017, 06:42:51 PM
Well, first of all, your story is not clear. How exactely are they cheating?
You are probably talking about the house edge? If you have a payout of 2x, the chance to win is 49.5% because of that house edge (in case of 1% house edge).

Also, what do you mean by 'dropping 25% of you account on a bet, and having a 25% chance to win'? You story doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
I'm not sure but roughly he meant he wagered 50% of the amount and expected at least returns of 25 %.Anyway a story without no proof makes no sense to me either.

As my understanding, he wanna say that he get bigger winning chance for smaller bet but get so low winning chance for bigger bet. Indeed his story does not prove anything, if he really thinks that stake is cheating then he should provide valid proofs. What I see here is just like a personal feeling because maybe he get many winning bets with small amount but he lost many bets with big amount.
What I see is here is basically a butt-hurt  gambler who wasn't lucky enough for the day and can't take an L.He claims to be making 10k from the site and blaming site to be not fair in the same sentence.I don't know what to make of it.
2210  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCmixer.biz — High volume bitcoin mixer on: September 22, 2017, 01:40:46 PM
Not to mention but website is taking forever for me to load.Coming back to the feedback,
Website looks alright, how serious are you about the business ? Speaking of your competitors you have chip mixer,crypto-mixer who are actively promoting themselves in the market and on the forum. What measures you are taking to stand out ? Why should customer choose you over them?

You are opening a mixing service with 11 BTC in stock? Is this a joke?
They're in an early phase, that could be an exception provided they lower the amount of bitcoins they're ready to mix.
2211  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I need some beta testers for binary options testing on: September 22, 2017, 01:36:09 PM
Beta testing is  a vague term.If I was you,I'd consider testing a very important part of the application as binary options has multiple complicated test cases in the production environment which can't be overlooked upon. Here's what I recommend,
  - > Get initial testing done of your UI components using Mocha/Chai of course depending on your stack.
  - > Get stress testing done using a lot of tools out there.
  - > Find a pen tester for regression testing and server side loads.
  - > There is lot of to be tested on the back-end too.
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is cloudbet legit? on: September 21, 2017, 11:56:55 PM
Yes, you can trust them. They have been around for a very long time in the bitcoin gambling business.
Do you take the responsibility of paying OP back if they get scammed in the future ? Why are you vouching for a business when you're not affiliated to them ? Kinda leads people in the wrong direction.

I read at some site that cloudbet scammed users. Can i/we trust cloudbet.? Thanks
You have to take a call, please check all the open scam accusations, their official thread will have people complaining about stuff.Do your own research before blindly depositing money. If they have had scam accusations in the past, you will be taking a chance playing there.
2213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoCribs - a decentralized AirBnB on: September 21, 2017, 11:53:03 PM
Hey everyone. We are launching a cryptoBnB, www.cryptocribs.com, which aims to ultimately fully decentralize short-term rentals. Guests and hosts can only pay in crypto currencies and the fees are half of the AirBnB fees. However, more importantly, guests and hosts can "mine" reputation and their fees get reduced with every booking and positive review until the fees are at zero. Check out the site (http://www.cryptocribs.com) and the whitepaper (http://www.cryptocribs.com/images/whitepaper.pdf) and let us know what you think. This is not an ICO.
Very creative !
How are you going to make profits if you keep reducing the rentals for a trusted customer ? Excuse me if that sounds lame I'm yet to go through the white-paper.Quick searching my city didn't show any hotel rentals near my place and it's understandable since the project is in it's early stages.Watching how things unfold here.
2214  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain Car history verification system on: September 21, 2017, 11:47:45 PM
I analysed your idea and certainly have a few concerns,
-> The papers which are provided during purchasing the car.has all the valid information that is buying date,Engine number which can't be altered.
-> Do you really need blokchain for that ?

-> The distance car has run in his course also couldn't be altered since the meter display the exact time from the day it was launched. The documents you get with the car have unique customer ID's which records are maintained with the insurgence companies and you can verify them online.

-> As long as exporting them, why would someone pay twice the price of an actual car just for shipping ?

2215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 21, 2017, 11:42:45 PM
Long-term you will look at $4600 like people who invested five years ago saw $300, or $500.  It's just another stepping stone.  There is an incredible amount of upside, and you just have to ride out the waves, as it is an ebb and flow.  There will be a tipping point where it takes off again, and you just have to be patient with it.
Although I always stay positive  but the reality should not be neglected.Whatever you are saying could be quite true or could be completely based on illogical facts. You never know if thing will always work in the favour of bitcoin.

Of course for me it's hard to judge how you are feeling because I bought at around 2000-2500 range (even with the recent drop I'm good). If you really can't handle it just walk away from it for a couple of weeks.
It is an experimental currency, deal only what you can afford to lose. If  $4600 is a big amount to him, frankly he shouldn't risk it it.There is no guarantee he would double it.

Best thing, keep your bitcoin out of site, and think that you just lost that amount of money.  Since you are planning to hold it for 5 to 10 years, it does not hurt to do such thing.  Besides seeing your Bitcoin regularly and looking at the price would worry you more when the price keep on plummeting.  Best move buy again if it goes down Grin. as what phuckit17 stated.
I'm surprised how these guys have planned their investment for next 5 years already  Undecided
2216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling place with a faucet on: September 16, 2017, 10:16:12 AM
I`ve already created a topic with the same theme, almost. In the previous one I was asking about gambling places with a faucet at least 1000 satoshi per 5-10 min. With a lot of time that I spent I`ve seen that there is no way to claim such amount of money/BTC. So the question is: is there any bitcoin/litecoin (equivalent) etc gambling place with 400+ satoshi per 5-10 minutes?
I want to make a list of these places, so do not spam in the topic in order to receive more useless posts (y u want to abuse a facet, their is no way dat u wil be in profit because of smal facet etc) - just write a link to the place
Have you been seeing what's happening with Faucet abusers at Bitsler ? They are getting banned ! So yeah those small faucet amounts does mean a lot for some, especially if it can be harnessed within every 5-10 minutes.

1. https://yabtcl.com (400 satoshi every 5 min) - captcha is from google, so you need to spend 30+ seconds in order to confirm it (images are rotating slow)
2. https://cryptogames.io (after claming near to 7-8 times the faucet is available in 6000 seconds, that is a bullshit) - captcha is from google, so you need to spend 30+ seconds in order to confirm it (images are rotating slow)
Crypto-games.net has one of the highest paying faucets in the gambling scene.Unfortunately, they wouldn't fit in your faucet leeching criteria.Even if they were,I'm pretty sure their security would auto ban faucet abusers.
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My conspiracy theory about CHINA...what is yours? on: September 16, 2017, 08:35:45 AM
1.  I think China want to temporarily crash the market so they can collect more BTC (and other coins dirt cheap) before announcing that they are officially adopting.  At that point BTC (and other crypto) will sky rocket.
Nope Chinese Government doesn't really care about the market or bitcoin. It wouldn't take them this long to nuke the mines if they cared about it.They want more money for war with India,American and now Korea. They would tax bitcoin.

2. They don't want their citizens to trade cryptocurrency and earn (relatively easily) in fear of losing their cheap labor force.  They will then try to make it as difficult as possible for it to flourish in their country.

Which is it???
Neither.Since when China started caring about their citizens ? Mark my point 1 and that is the truth you don't wanna digest.
2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guess What? JPMorgan on: September 16, 2017, 08:05:21 AM
And thats what happen when people has power and money at the same time, spreading fud to earn, marketing manipulation by the rich's.  It happen in every market with good margin.
That's how the rich manipulate the market since day of the Wall-Street trading.First they oppose, then they try to ban, later they buy it themselves ! I wonder where is rocket going to take us this time.To the moon ya go!

"Guess what? JPMorgan became the biggest buyer of bitcoin on September 15, 2017"

Breaking News: "PEEK A BOO JPMorgan, I see you!"

On a darker side,I'm getting nervous. What if such big financial organisations start buying big ? Will there be place for normal traders to even exist ?
2219  Economy / Reputation / Re: Giving someone my own social acc's to join in bounty, is good? on: September 16, 2017, 07:13:06 AM
If i am giving my twitter or fb account someone else whom i know personally to join in any social media bounty. Does it turn to get negative trust from someone?

>>I given my accounts to my friend but his account was ban by admin because of spamming, he is/was newbie.
If you are willing to give your social media account to someone ,that shows you don't really care about the account or maybe that account is a throwaway. It is literally like giving away your identity to someone who can pretend to be you behind the screen.Does that sound fair to you ?

Which account was banned ? Bitcointalk or social media ?
2220  Economy / Services / Re: *****Scam Retrieval Service *****Backend on: September 16, 2017, 07:09:11 AM
If you can trace scammers, then I assume you can trace non-scammers too.
Who said ? It all only work in theories, not practically.

Let me try. Name me, my wife, my kids, where I live and work, what I do for a living and my phone number. If you can publicly provide this information here, I will bow and kowtow to you and tell everyone how you're my new hero.
He won't do it because you're not a scammer.

And let me guess. This is a service you are offering for a fee. Did I guess correctly? And fees must be paid upfront? No escrow? "Scam retrieval service" discussed on Skype?
Seems like that or some % of the money he will be retrieving from the scammer.

In the link you posted above and on that alt account, you mentioned you would find anyone's BTC. I'm just curious how that helps since the blockchain basically gives that information. If you were to say something along the lines of "we would find AND RETRIEVE your BTC in lieu of a fee held in escrow and paid to us after a successful retrieval" then that might be something worth hiring for.

Either way, this isn't a easy job.Infact, you cannot find any information of the people who do things smartly here. Most of the scammers are.
