321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 16, 2023, 08:54:17 PM
I just accept it and move on, losing in gambling is very normal and you should anticipate this before playing. Don’t stress yourself and stop making things more complicated, you can have peace of mind if you only gamble with your extra money and not the money not came from your savings or a borrowed money. We all have our own ways to deal with our losses, and I’d hope that we can still control our emotion and not being greedy.
322  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 15, 2023, 09:29:19 PM
Roobet is indeed a reputable casino and they gained the trust of many gamblers here. Since their launch in this forum, they established their casino by proving their platform is trustworthy. In my experience playing on Roobet, I never had any issues, I just enable the 2fa when I withdraw. Anyway, I agree that it is not really advisable to store our money in our casino account (or any centralized platforms) no matter how secure the platform is, just to be safe.
This is why many gamblers trust this platform that much, all they have to do is to be more careful and secure their money at all cost, gamblers should not let their emotions takeover because you still have to think for the best security and that is not to store too much money on any gambling site. Enabling 2FA is a good one, you just need to keep all your back-up keys on a more secure place.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting against the Public, is this strategy working? on: January 15, 2023, 09:17:57 PM
Most of the time yes since betting requires analysis and the result sometimes is different and the public is not always right so going against them sometimes are also a good idea. If you don’t want to analyze that much then you can follow the public and take the risk there’s still no assurance for that though because if the public is always right then all the bettors will have a good profit now which I think is not possible always.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 15, 2023, 03:01:44 PM
Casinos have laws that have made not paying winnings to gamblers legal and this is very bad. They should also have laws that would in some unique circumstance require that they return the wager. But No, it would be easier for Elon Musk to go to Mars in 2023 than for this to ever happen. Ofcourse the house would always win but the hurt and pain they cause by refusing to pay them their winnings will remain forever.
There's also a law protecting the gamblers so if you won a serious amount with that site and they are not paying, you should sue them and force them to release your winnings, this is possible if you are playing on a regulated casinos but if not, it will be hard for you to force them. Casinos should be more honest even if there's an error with their system if someone hit the jackpot they should pay it because this is not the problem of the gambler, its the problem of the site for having a poor system.
325  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Esports] MLBB Tournaments - Local/World on: January 15, 2023, 02:18:08 PM
Grabe ang laro ng ECHO, imagine 0-4 ang Blacklist which is tinalo naman sila sa upper bracket.
Lucky to those who took the risk kahit na hinde naman sila ang favorite team to win, unfortunately natalo ako sa bet ko since ang ineexpect ko kayang dipensahan ng blacklist yung kanilang championship.

Exciting ang M5 kase dito gaganapin sa bansa naten, let's see if ECHO will be the first team to have a back-to-back championship.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 15, 2023, 02:08:17 PM
Congratulations Barangay Ginebra~ Ginkings!!!
114-99
Congrats also too to the best player of the game, Jamie Malonzo! That game was amazing and still kudos and respect to the Bay Area Dragons. Their shooters were really inaccurate and might probably be intimidated by the crowd.

Attendance check on the Philippine Arena = 54,589 audiences attended!
That's a wrap, Ginebra is once again a champion and this game was really a record breaking.
Their game plays are very well, and even the Bay Area throws a lot of long shots they are not threatened by it because they become more active and focus on their offense. Probably the crowd plays an important role with this championship, they cheer a lot and that boosted the confidence of Ginebra. Congrats to Ginebra and those who place their bet with Ginebra.
What a game for Ginebra and what a support from the crowd, this is one of the reason why they push this into game 7.
Well, no doubt about the skills of both teams and Ginebra prevails at the end, hope to see Bay Area in the future conference because they had a great run in PBA and maybe they can stay longer with PBA or other foreign team will join which will make this more exciting. Time to celebrate Ginebra supporters, Gin bulag is discounted again.  Cheesy
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: January bitcoin price out look on: January 14, 2023, 09:56:47 PM
Very strong action but as always the true strength is in the pullback occurring whenever that is.   Ideally price action should stay above the lows of 13th which could be a longer term show of support/resistance and then the 2 day is at 20k now.
I wont say the 200 day average doest matter but for now its more important we get a change in direction for that longer term show of inertia and have it together with the 50 day MA ascending back upwards.  [today its flat and 50 week in decline still]  If both these gains keep happening beyond just a brief spike of energy we'll be way more bullish.   We'll build volume and repair the prior weakness in trading.
Pullback is possible as the price is already oversold but it will just temporary since the market is going to pump already. Its good to see this price level again, and to OP you don’t need to wait for the month end because Bitcoin already hit your prediction. We might stay on this level for a while and once ok, the pump will start to happen again. Probably, $22k at the end of January is already a safe prediction.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC analysis today on: January 14, 2023, 09:49:15 PM
If you’re the creator of that analysis, why not explain it here instead of posting a link, you can’t force everyone here to watch your video analysis because for sure its just like the others. Trading is not easy, and having your own analysis is still advisable, the market right now might still correct but eventually it will break all the resistance and go to the moon again, time can tell so better to be prepared and trade wisely.
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 14, 2023, 09:07:01 PM
So i need to start accumulating more heavily? the answer is No, but accumulating slow and steady yes Dollar Cost Averaging is still the best In my opinion like  in my previous post that bitcoin break 20K level but we need to see if the price can maintain that price is so you can all IN(*just kidding)  Grin do DCA till we see the ATH
If you missed the opportunity to buy during the bottom price then cost averaging is a good strategy, just buy the good coins and don’t ever hold any tokens that is not good, cost averaging should only be done with the top coins so your funds will be more safe. The market is getting better now, the pump is a good sign for us. Just wait for more pump and we will confirm if the bull is already happening or this is just a small pump.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 14, 2023, 08:44:00 PM
This will prove that whatever you do that is bad or something can destroy a person's reputation which will make people think that the person is not to be trusted. If you are a project founder or the creator of it and got addicted yo gambling then you will end up stealing just like what happen to the person that OP talked about. Well, if you acquire the private keys in an auction then there is a possibility that the owner of it still have a copy or didn't delete it. I think this is what happen to the person who's funds got stolen.
This is the proof that those creators of collectibles still have the copy of the private keys and what happened here ruin the reputation or collectibles and for sure many will not trust this kind of investment anymore, collectibles will be on a bigger risk of losing its value. Addiction is not good at all, this is very unfortunate to the collectors of those rare items, probably they are affected as well.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you stacking up on? on: January 14, 2023, 02:09:31 AM
As we will most likely continue to see bear market for this year, what are you stacking up on and why? I would love to know so I can see what people are interested and there reasoning for it.

Smiley.
We just touched the price of $21k right before the end of January, this could be a good start but of course correction can still happen for a more healthy up trend. I’ve been buying some top altcoins and Bitcoin of course, and I can say now its totally worth it because the market is getting better now and green days are coming.
332  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Cold Key Card holder ba dito? Redeem nyo na ang card nyo! on: January 13, 2023, 09:59:10 PM
Looking at the thread

Curious lang ako! Bakit hindi nila ni redeem in the first place yung laman ng collectibles kung ang habol is yung physical artwork design/coldkey collection? Tumataas ba value nung physical collectible in the long run as long as may laman?

Enlighten me mga eyeballs.

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash still king? on: January 13, 2023, 09:44:47 PM
King of what?
I remember the huge hype before with this project, and right now they are not doing great which will be a big threat for their existence here in the market. Claiming to be the best crypto or even the king was already used by many projects, most of them are dead already so probably DASH might ended up on the same faith with those projects.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 13, 2023, 09:35:13 PM
Ethereum is now looking so bullish. Some weeks ago there was chance to down Ethereum to 800$ and I was waiting for it but market turned into bullish and now it's price above 1300$ which is plus point fir this who already took entry. Ethereum Usecase is high and after every dump big whales will accumulate it in big quantity.
It's unexpected to see Ethereum bullish and that's a crypto which is hard to predict,
but for now I think the market is still bearish and maybe will head to bullish,
this is certainly interesting and let's see it later in the future.
The current pump is fully influenced by Bitcoin and as long as Bitcoin is pumping, altcoins will follow and there’s a high possibility for ETH to follow that as well. The chart might look week but it can be changed easily because ETH is unpredictable and for me, it is still one of the best altcoin to hold today. Bull run will be a good opportunity for ETH again, so better to get some some its cheap remember we are on a cycle and the next cycle is to pump.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can players bet on their own games on: January 13, 2023, 09:29:08 PM
Pretty common practice by small teams in third world countries, unfortunately. There are many different ways to manipulate match results while only experts can explore such rigged games if they need to do so since even experts can be part of the whole corruption. Organizations that have to audit these type of jobs can not be trusted, the turnover is insane and I have doubts it is transparent auditing, IMHO.
This is happening, and betting on your own games probably you’ll know what will happen or you are just confident about it. Some players are not allowed to do this but they can easily let someone place the bet to them. There’s always a greedy player and a corrupt system, its just that it is not being disclose for the sake of their own reputation but I believe, many are also a bettor aside from being a player.
336  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 12, 2023, 09:52:02 PM
Marame na kase talaga ang nabiktima ng mga fake project kaya mahirap magtiwala, pero if legit ang company like the top banks will create their own project, panigurado marame ang magtitiwala dito pero if unpopular developer marame talaga ang magdududa.

Proper regulations and license ang nakikita kong solution, yun bang may funds to back up their project if ever magkaroon ng aberya.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 12, 2023, 09:11:36 PM
The price I saw Bitcoin was two days at 17k isn't same price it is today @18k+ even though the difference in price isn't that significant it's to some persons a measure of hope that the bull will soon erupt only that nobody knows when.
There's still hope and am convinced, by the end of January it should be hitting 20k in price and should it hit 20k then it's a wake up call that the bull market is just by the corner. To those that can accumulate, now is the time best to do so, the price is still favourable I think.

We are too close to hit the price of $19k again and the volume is still great, there’s a high possibilities that we might reach that $20k price again by the end of January which is a good sign of recovery. If Bitcoin will continue its momentum and break most of the resistance, probably it can trigger the bull trend and a good hype, we should keep on monitoring the trend so we will not missed any opportunity here.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 12, 2023, 08:54:15 PM
Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.
This is FUD and that’s a good amount of BNB that I can afford to take risk and if I were you i’ll keep on holding that until the next bull run. BNB is one of the good coin to hold and still the leading CEX, don’t listen to any FUD and just focus on the technology of BNB, you wont regret it by holding BNB just take the risk, and have confidence with BNB, there’s still a bright future for this.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans are once again quitting their jobs at a growing rate on: January 11, 2023, 09:58:33 PM
I wonder why people are quitting their jobs? I know the most reason would be due to low salary, but how can they survive if they're not working? I think any people will accept any jobs even though how low the salary is, rather than become unemployed and doesn't earn anything. So IMO, they've already find a job that paid very well in private, which is like a programmer where they got paid with Bitcoin and they have a chance to publish it, so the government think they're not working, but the truth they're working in their home.

That could be a reason too as they don’t declare their source of income so the government might think that they are just quitting their jobs for nothing. But I believe the most possible reason why people quit because of low compensation and because of poor environmental that they don’t want to belong anymore. And thankfully, we have online crypto jobs that are paying us well and are certainly more convenient to work at home than going out working in an office.
Compensation probably the issue and maybe an over work, there’s a lot of factors actually to be considered and quitting the job doesn’t mean you’ll stop working maybe they are just looking for a better opportunities and better offer. Its good that we have crypto on our side, being a trader can be considered as your job too, so do it seriously.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 11, 2023, 09:40:43 PM
You are right mate both teams are doing great in this match and now game 7 is waving and it's gonna hard for ginebra but still good job for this game as we all know that how they play this night in 4rth and final quarter a very close scores but when the last minute a free throw by Powell and and a offensive rebound is a big advantage and that's the reason why Ginbera will struggling to so it causes there only 6 seconds left which is very hard to do so.

This game is really too hard for Ginebra because they can't get the tempo to stop the Dragons during the first half. They manage to have a good run and a comeback to get the lead in the 3rd quarter but they failed to continue the momentum of the good run instead the Dragons force the game into a close fight which Ginebra is at a big disadvantage due to the fatigue of making the score even. I believe they already knew what's the key to defeating the Dragons in game 7 since they already control the game in the second half. EZ Ginebra Game 7 if Brownlee will have gas until the end.
Ginebra have to activate Brownlee and the other key players going into game 7, this is a do or die game and have to go all out or else they’ll miss the chance. Anyway, this is going to Philippine Arena right? Where to buy ticket for the game 7, I’m pretty sure it will be jam packed crowd again supporting Ginebra, I also want to experience watching the game live and feel the crowd, this can be a big one.
