322  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there anything similar to Brawker? on: April 18, 2015, 01:03:31 AM
Purse.io is similar but only works on amazon. Brawker was pretty unique in that it was a lot more broad in its uses. the debit bitcoin cards depend on your country and are unfortunately more limited than brawker.
323  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling my Bitcointalk account (Senior member) < this account, details inside on: April 16, 2015, 07:55:42 PM
Selling the account publicly is bad for 2 big reasons. People may leave negative trust and now if people are active on the forums they know this account will not be yours for much longer so the trust built on it will be worth nothing (unless you get some newbies to fall for it). That will lower the worth of your account by a lot now.
324  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Starbucks Digital For Sell !!! big sale 18% !!! on: April 16, 2015, 01:48:56 PM
How does one use a card like this in starbucks?

starbucks has an app on the phone you can use when you link the card to your account. These cards are almost certainly stolen and since OP is a newbie very doubtful he will honor that warranty when the cards go bad. If he does manage to honor the warranty good luck spending the money in a week since it wont last much longer than that.
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom is in at $215 buying like crazy on: April 15, 2015, 01:48:01 AM
At lowest probably hit around $100, and then go back up.

Anything beyond lower then $100, is just a collapse of bailing on the coin seeing most people decide on a emotional state then the technology what it stands for.

Like daytraders who scalp, also have a price effect as well. But, think about realistic long term, its much needed like people who want to send money in phillpines for example are saving costs then using western union.

I think we will see some major problems if it drops below $200. Most miners out there will not be able to make a profit below $200 and a lot will have to be shut off. Until the difficulty readjusts transactions will then take forever to confirm. We got a small taste of this last time.
326  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [S] CryptoDouble Remade + Ponzi Script. HOT scripts, only 5 copies available. on: April 12, 2015, 11:14:36 PM
seller is a scammer.

of course hes selling ponzi scripts. You think he would be trustworthy. If you guys got scammed good since you can only use this to scam others.
327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Circle and coinbase shuts down if coins are sent to LBC? on: April 12, 2015, 06:50:07 PM
I've sold hundred of dollars on lbc with coin bought directly from coinbase. I think it depends on the customer trend. I have been with them for almost 3 years now so they don't bother me for anything. I also fund my poker gambling or sports with bitcoin from coinbase. No problems at all.
328  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Circle and coinbase shuts down if coins are sent to LBC? on: April 12, 2015, 12:12:34 AM
I have sent coins all over including dice sites and localbitcoins with no problems. I never sent thousands at one shot but I did send a $100-$200 here and there. I do know they will ban you if they figure out your sending it to the dark market sites though.
329  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal wants to accept BTC now?? on: April 11, 2015, 06:39:33 PM
IT would make sense why paypal would wnat to accept bitcoin. More customers, less fees than people paying with credit cards, and no worries of chargeback. It will make it a lot easier for support.
330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am speculating that Josh Garza of GAW will go to jail this year on: April 11, 2015, 04:15:48 AM
I dont know about jail for Josh based on this lawsuit (maybe fraud but thats a different story altogether) but the company will definitely go bankrupt and any assets taken from this lawsuit.
331  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN that can be paid in BTC on: April 10, 2015, 07:14:12 PM
Avoid purevpn. I paid them via btc and I regret it. I need a reliable connection that is stable for days but after being connected on 3 of the 5 devices each account allows for 12-16 hours it auto-disconnects. I had the option to auto-reconnect checked and it failed to do it everytime. Also my friend tried to get a refund and was told they dont refund if you pay with bitcoin so be careful. That refund policy has a lot of fine print to it make sure you read it.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, Not paying!!! on: April 10, 2015, 01:22:27 PM
And a new update on the frontpage.

Holiday

Due to the holidays, withdrawals, support and other operations which are not fully automated may be delayed until Tuesday, April 14.

A pointless update. He has never responded to any support tickets and in terms of withdrawals there are none every is in pending balances. Operations a dead website must be hard to operate.

334  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 10, 2015, 01:19:18 AM
hm so they disconnected the power in January which corresponds to the suspension of the hashlets. We know their mining was legit at some point but with no power and the huge sales they had on mining equipment we can only guess they are not actually mining anything anymore.

Anyone having problems with withdrawals. They seem to take forever. My friends experience the same problems with most of the time we end up having to contact support to get it pushed through after confirming via email after 12-16 hours. And the withdrawals aren't huge either usually .01-.03 btc.

That hasn't been my experience, I've cashed out >.1BTC most every day and the longest I've had to wait was a few hours (in the middle of the night).

Thanks for sharing your experiences.  As we grow and expand we are instituting increased security checks.  First time or first few withdrawals will be undergoing an increased scrutiny, whereas players that have gained trust over time may have instant withdrawals.

There are certainly no "problems" with withdrawals, however with more people brings more potential abusers and that slows down withdrawals for all new or newer users.  We would like to have instant withdrawals for everyone and can do it, but it is far from prudent.

Also, ajw7989 what is your username and we can explain why your withdrawals have taken a bit long when other players have been done within seconds or minutes.

Not a problem. I received mine yesterday after sending a ticket to support but my friend is still waiting. Pmed you his details. Thanks for taking a look Appreciate it.

UPDATE: Withdrawal was processed within minutes of PM. Thanks for the quick help

more places posting good things about our GAWD Mr. Ganza Garbazzo

Honestly I am surprised this did not happen sooner. Its ridiculous how many of the promises they made that never came true. Its probably easier to count how many success they had. They should have just stuck to selling hardware. At least they were decent at that.

338  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: s1 Revenue per day on: April 09, 2015, 12:53:08 AM
Hardware/physical mining is great especially being able to monitor it but depending on electric costs may not be economically possible to reach an ROI. Cloud mining is very risky with all the scams going but is much easier. So both have pros and cons just do your research.
339  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase Investment fund email? on: April 09, 2015, 12:48:59 AM
Why isn't Coinbase issuing an email to all it's clients to watch out for the scam ? That's my problem with the whole thing, they should be informing everyone who is signed up at Coinbase right now not to invest in this scam.

The kicker for me was that the email didn't route to Coinbase actual website, just some random deposit link. I mean, I guess if you're brand new to Bitcoin you might fall for it.

I agree with this. Safety for its customers should be the number 1 priority. At least make a notification on the site itself
340  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase Investment fund email? on: April 08, 2015, 07:01:28 PM
The red flag for me and any phishing emails is the fact that they addressed me by my username but whenever you make a deposit or withdrawal you get a confirmation email which uses your first name. What is strange though is its from news@coinbase.com but if you dig deeper it says mailed by    em.coinbase.com and signed by    coinbase.com when the other emails are both mailed and signed by coinbase.com
