321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: April 03, 2024, 08:16:50 AM
One common mistake repeated by gamblers is chasing losses, where they continue to bet more in an attempt to recoup previous losses. This can lead to further financial losses and exacerbate gambling problems.

You are right in general, but in fact chasing losses can be bad only if gamblers have no control over their actions. Chasing losses can fun too, you know. If you know when to stop and if you can make yourself stop before you lose more than you can afford to lose then there's nothing wrong with chasing your losses if that makes you entertained.

This is sweet contest because it guarantees 25$ to top 20 highest multiplier which is fair to everyone regardless of the bankroll. Thank you for sharing the competition link, I thought they are launching most of their contest on the casino itself yet they have separate challenge on the forum.

I will try to look on this and compete later. I will focus now on slot games since I have no luck on live games lately. Since you guys manage to be on top 10 with x600+ multiplier only I think this tournament is achievable to get a spot compared to other casino tournaments that is dominated by whales. I will give an update here later possibly next week after the holy week season here. No gambling for me now this week.

You know, I doubted I would get into top 20 with my result, but actually I did end up there:

and since I'm Level two verified I got 100% extra on my reward too:

Yes, this is amazing contest, no doubt about that.

As for the Stake vs Eddie, I have never manged to beat Eddie so far. But I'm trying. I like the fact that the minimum bet is only $0.10.

~ I don't think the author of one of the videos I watched will be guilty of anything.

The situation is exactly the same there.

Absolutely. That's what I'm talking about. Don't blame advertisers. They are just doing their job.

Casino promoters like streamers or others shouldn't be blamed in such cases, in my opinion. Only if more than 50% of their followers were committing suicides they should be blamed.

I agree. People should realize that it’s mainly our choices that lead us to where we are presently. We could be influenced and motivated to take some actions you ordinarily wouldn’t,, but in the end, no one actually forced the individual to take those actions that led to suicidal thoughts and behavior. We should consider being more responsible for our actions and not try to run away from the outcome.

It may become a big problem for the influencer and perhaps the platform itself being used when 50% and upwards of his fans and followers become suicidal after having listened and encouraged by the streamer to do whatever.

Right, if more than 50% of the viewers commit suicide, that might constitute a big problem, not only for the influencer but for the platform owners too. But at the moment we are very far from there. Only few people who watch streams of casino games become problem gamblers, let alone commit suicide.

That’s amazing, makes me really happy to read on a miserable, rainy Wednesday in the UK.

Betwrong, you do always seem to do well with these free spins Cheesy

Maybe send some of your good luck my way. As always, thanks for sharing, brother.

Rainy Wednesday you say, look what whether we have here in Kyiv, it's not only sunny, look at the thermometer out of my window:

Meteorologists say it's the winds from Sahara that have brought us this temperature. It's like Summer-time here. I like it. Smiley

What I did today was I wrote the word "sahara" in search bar on Bitcasino and sure enough among so many slots on the site it was there:

I liked the fact that the minimum bet on this slot was pretty small, , so I played the slot for a while. But the max win I got on it was only 80 cents:

Less than 10x of my bet. Then I switched to my favourite slot, Bitcasino Billion, and won more than 10x of my bet two times

within just a few minutes. No! I just looked at my screenshots, it was two times within one minute!

I don't know, maybe I'm not picky enough about my fate, but things like these make me happy. Smiley

Truly a lucky day for OP's friend, tho what he did is super risky and it's rare that someone will do that just to prove to their friends that the team he choose is the right one. it's a good thing he won because otherwise, he'll run out of money, his ego will be trampled.

Oh, I wouldn't say it's rare, actually. I think something like this happens every day on this planet. There are so many people that engage in gambling activity, millions each day, so, I bet some of them doing something similar to OP's friend.

Just like you, I would never bet a huge amount even though I have instincts that I will win if I let this team go. First of all, it is difficult to bet all in because it is risky and secondly, I am not an impulsive type of gambler that I can drop any amount if I want to, my allocated gambling money is limited and I am not yet in point that I can afford to spend a large amount because I don't have that much and if I have, I will put it in my savings and not spend it on my vice.

That's very wise of you, mate. I hope this habit of yours will not change even when you'll be able to afford huge stakes. Don't spend on gambling more than you usually spend on going to a movie theatre or a concert.

Yes, you are lucky and congrats on your winning, I wish your bet was placed in Bitcoins instead of Litecoins. You have some "lucky seeds" because I have rolled dice so many times and I don't remember hitting 0.00 and you hit that four times in 10 days.

Yeah, in fact I hit it once again recently:

By the way, can you place a bet as low as 0.00000128 LTC on Primedice? I haven't played dice with altcoins for a long time, the last time I played on many crypto casinos, I remember that the lowest bet for LTC and altcoins was very different from the lowest bet for Bitcoin. The only casino where I could play with 0.00000001 DOGE as the minimum bet was FortuneJack and it was probably in 2016 or 2017 if I remember correctly. Btw can you bet 0.00000001 LTC? or DOGE on Primedice?

Yes, you can place such a low bet on Primedice. That's why I like rolling on the site, they accept smaller bets. If you gamble for entertainment purposes it's very important that your minimum bet was not like $0.60 or even $1 as it is on some sites but way smaller.

How many Golden Tickets you've got?

But how many of them Golden Tickets you have? Can you share with us. Not the tickets Smiley just the info. Or is your amount close to a million and you don't want to disclose it because you have really good chance of winning that Lambo? I would totally understand you in that case.

and of course I hope to win. How about you, guys? How many Golden Tickets you've got?

OMG, @slaman29, congratulations! That's a really solid number of Golden Tickets. Don't pay attention to that 0.25% win chance like it's a small chance. I won with 0.01% in chance recently.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: April 02, 2024, 07:56:24 AM

Here in Latin America we have had a few cases of referees who happened to be legendarily infamous because of the way they behaved during matches, giving a special treat to one of the teams and making things difficult to the opposite one. In those cases, the referees here seem to do that because of favoritism towards an specific nationality over other. Given that, I would not feel specially shocked if some referee happened to be a closeted racist and ended up giving problems to a team of black people during an important regional match.
In that aspect, I agree with you, that that kind of manipulation is believed to be a problem forma bettor, then it is better just to avoid regional matches and focus our wager on FIFA big events, where referees are supposed to be more professional and less prone no manipulate the match at their will and whim.

I don't know another word for that except disgusting. Human race or nationality should not be taken into consideration in any judgement sports events included. We are living in the 21st century, FFS, and people with brains abandoned this approach in the mid of 20th. I can't imagine how some people can be so retarded.

But if I was betting on each game separately, I would win some. Please share your wins here with us. And you are right, always stay positive whatever happens.
That is the result I often experience when I bet in multi bets. Most of my bets were green, there were only one or two red bets that made me lose the bet. You are right, if I only bet on single bets, then I will receive more winnings. However, for me it is less challenging, because the odds I get are quite small because usually I bet on clubs that have a very big potential to win.

That's why I'm making multibets too, it's more thrilling. We don't need those small, almost guaranteed wins, do we? We want to win big, with minuscule chances, but really big if we win.

By making multi bets, we can double the number of odds, but the risk is also quite large, because if you bet on 10 matches like you, you will fail because 2 or even 1 match is predicted incorrectly. But to make my chances bigger, I usually bet on only 5 matches or even less than that, which makes me win several times. However, there is indeed an urge to bet on lots of matches, because the odds are tempting. Lol.

However, I also try to suppress my greed not to bet on a lot of matches, because if I do it several times I will also feel like I am losing.

I often bet on only 3-4 matches too. The funny thing is: I lose them like they were 10-legged bets. Smiley Then I decide to multi bet with more legs. The strategy keeps changing. Nothing is certain. Smiley

but one of the major reasons people do involve themselves into online gambling it is because they want to make a money and there's so many people has been helping their self out through online gambling many people does not gamble because they need entertainment but the gamble because they need a quick money so so many people who told you today that they are gambling in order to entertain themselves I will say that that is a capital lies because the objective of every gambler is to make a money I'm making that money to get money is to win in any average of gambling they placed they bet on

It's actually a big question, I mean, why do people gamble? What is the main reason? Yes, everyone wants to win, but how desperate that desire is? Some jump out of the window after losing and others forget about it in a minute or less. I think the latter constitute the majority of gamblers, not the former.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: April 01, 2024, 09:48:50 AM
I think this is just a rationalization of luck. The man was lucky and retrospectively allowed himself to attribute his winnings to random factors. If he lost a big game, he would probably also say that it was all his friend’s fault, who distracted him from the game). Overall, this is nonsense and not worth considering. But in general, it is sometimes very interesting to watch how people explain their winnings. I would even say how strange these explanations are. If it really worked, then the winning person would likely do it all the time. Let's say I won today because I had a red tie or gray pants. This means that I will constantly win if I wear these wardrobe items all the time.

I've noticed that too. Many gamblers instead of thinking that they just got lucky, start thinking of what hat they were wearing, what jacket and so on. Others pay attention to the time of the day or even to the exact hour. But the most dangerous way of thinking of them all, in my opinion, is thinking that you won becuase of the "great" betting strategy you were using. This way of thinking may lead you to huuuuge losses.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: April 01, 2024, 09:18:48 AM
~ Do you consider this a category of gambling game? What are the chances on long run? Skills matter, or do you have to be lucky, nevertheless?

Although the game makes it seem like it's a game of skill  and so the players are trying to use their skills to "properly" capture the prize, I think whether the prize will be in your hands in the end totally depends on luck, so, I consider it as gambling. Everyone who played on Claw Machines even just couple of times in their life knows that. It's almost like thinking that if you stop the rolling of the reels on a slot at the "right" moment you'll win a big prize.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: April 01, 2024, 08:54:18 AM
The game of gambling isn't something that people with low patience can survive be it the different types of gambling @sports betting  @casino games like dice and slots, patience is still the key to survive. Sometimes anxiousness and anxiety can make a gambler take decision that he might end up regretting.

I disagree. Low patience can help you a lot with playing slots. Sometimes if you are bored and don't want to continue - it's your rescue actually. Because if you keep playing you can lose much more.

Today I experience this ill feeling although am okay now but I thought I should share my experience and thought with some of the gamblers here to see if we are on the same page.

I made a very wrong decision on a game I staked today and this is unlike me because I don't normally check on my games until its settled because sometimes you will tempted with some crazy things like cash-out which is what I did today and although you won't blame me to some extent but still if I was patient enough as the final results if the games came through and Instead of winning the whole money, I got only a fraction of the funds.

I feel you man. Exactly the same happened to me too some time ago. I cashed out 43x of my bet before the last leg of my multibet was settled only to see later that I was right in my last prediction and I would win 200x of bet if didn't cash out.

First things first, don't take loans for gambling Tongue.

It's a very important remark indeed. I feel like every post in this thread should start from this simple sentence. It's like obvious, but so many gamblers don't understand it, even those on this very forum, that I think it should repeated again and again.

One more thing that I saw someone else saying as well is to stay alert from clipboard malware because such things can change your wallet address after you copy it, which means you might copy the right one but when you paste it somewhere, it might be changed.

To avoid thing like that always memorise the last three letters of the address you copy  and compare them to the address you paste.
