321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Value??? on: October 30, 2019, 04:04:29 PM
Does anyone have any logical reasons why ETH price is still so low compared to its actual value? Isn't it like 70% of all the prominent ICO's, IEO's, STO's are all built on top of the Ethereum network? They require buying gas to run right? Wouldn't that create demand, and result in an increasing price for ETH? Is it safe to say it's being price suppressed? Or do I not understand how the platform works?

ETH has rised much since it's ICO in 2018, eventhough the price is still low compared to it's all time high. It is because the demand and the marketcap in whole cryptocurrency is not the same compared to 2017 late. I'm sure ETH will show it's real value which is really high when bitcoin and other cryptocurrency become world center of attention just like last 2 years
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: October 30, 2019, 03:21:23 PM
You should never invest all of your money in any kind of cryptocurrency because the risk is high and maybe you'll need your money in a short time.
Actually you will have a good future if you invested in ETH but still you cannot your invest it all, you should save for you daily savings and for urgent need.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 30, 2019, 02:22:04 PM
I think that's not CMC fault. Every project can advertised there as long as they pay to them. It's just an usual business for a website, they live because of the ads and any product can pay them for advertised their products.
So, the promotors or the advertising provider cannot be blame for a scam project. The one that can be blame is the project maker and also the investors who get tricked is also their own fault
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Do We Still Have Legit Altcoin Bounties? on: October 30, 2019, 01:24:49 PM
A friend introduced me here with the aim if doing Marketing and promotion for ICO & IEO companies to earn some funds however, my research got me so much discouraged as I noticed most of the ICO projects I intend to work with as planned are scam. As a result of this incident I have spent all my time here earning nothing at the moment though I have picked interest on trading. It will be my pleasure if anyone can actually tell me the means or platform where I can get real and legit project to work with. I can work perfectly as Community Manager, Ambassador, Marketing and Promotion etc.

Before doing bounty in any project, spare your time for at least 3 days to monitoring the project. Read their whitepapers, join their groups, and chat personally with their team.
From there you can make a conclusion that the project is trustable or not. It's okay you got scammed once , make it a lesson for you for a better future.
325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with margin trading. (story) on: October 30, 2019, 11:54:57 AM
I guess I’ll say a few commonplace things, but I can’t be silent.

My friend lost a lot of money in the last bitcoin move. The story is that he traded on signals.
Having a deposit of several thousand dollars, he received a signal (these were signal from one very famous trader, he trains him) to open a short position with a leverage of 2.5x at the level of approximately $ 8000 (I may be slightly mistaken).
As you know everyone was waiting for the fall of Bitcoin. My friend shared information with me, but I decided that I would spend this weekend without trading.

In general, before going to bed, my friend decided to check the market, and was delayed for 5 minutes. These 5 minutes decided everything.
He saw how the price of bitcoin began to grow at a frantic pace. He was shocked. At first he wanted to give the debt back to the exchange,
but it didn’t work out because he was sitting on the phone, and in the application from the Huobi exchange there was simply a disgusting procedure for returning the debt, absolutely not intuitive.

In general, when the price reached $ 10,000, he was already in a panic, did not know what to do, because the liquidation price was displayed as $ 10,200.
He frantically begins to buy Bitcoin for the remaining USDT, thereby increasing the liquidation limit, but he did not have time, and his position was liquidated.
He lost a significant amount, and fell into a rather severe upset.

Personally, I believe that all this could be avoided if:
1. Do not trade on signals
2. It doesn’t matter if you trade in signals or always set your own stop loss, even in the most obvious situations when it seems that there can be no other way.
3. Remember that margin trading can deprive you of your pants at any time. These are extremely high risks.
4. Be prepared for losses. If you take a risk, then accept responsibility for this risk at the time of opening a position, and not after its closure.

Be smart and take care of yourself guys.

Margin trading is just a gamble our luck if we don't know anything about technical analysis.
The reward is high when we win, but we can almost lost all of our assets if we lost, so for anyone who will start doing margin trade, i suggest is just use your free money, money that you can afford to lose and money that you won't need in near future
326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: October 30, 2019, 11:17:27 AM
They always show their wins because they want to motivate the new traders. Sometimes they're lost but they can maintain their loss and their profits must be bigger than their loss.
Also some crypto influencer hide their losses because they want the people who see their portofolio buy the same coins like theirs and the influencers hope the price won't get down because their followers buying the same coins. but at last, no traders that always win, they must be experienced some losses
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis and Manipulation Analysis on: October 30, 2019, 08:53:17 AM
The first two are the known and the used ones. What about the third one? I have seen many manipulations and since we are a 7/24 unregulated market, we are more open to manipulations. Which has the more effect on the price? Time to time, I have witnessed that some manipulative moves are occuring right before the technical analysis is pointing some directions. It seems like some people are trying to move the market according to their thougts. There are counter manipulative moves surely but we should take this into account as well.

The price manipulation is always could be doing by the whales who have much assets in crypto and even the whales are have community for pump and dump. Not much we can do because the crypto is basically decentralized. We can only aware with the market condition and analysis the whales movement
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: October 30, 2019, 07:52:00 AM
Patience is key... When bitcoin price roars to a certain point the altcoins will follow  Wink Wink

People don't have patience! Not all the people, but many don`t possess patience. Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme, even thou it can be if you invest a lot of money in a good moment and get out with the first rise, but for us small people hard work and patience is the only key for success.

Crypto people are be affected by the crypto ponzi scheme in 2017 because many people got rich very quickly because of it.
But at the early of 2018 many people got trapped and everybody experienced big losses.
This year crypto is rebuilding it's reputation and rihgt now price looks good and come back slowly and i think it's good for crypto healthy environtment
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: October 30, 2019, 06:26:10 AM
The point is we have to be selective to get effectiveness. Although most bounty campaigns are currently less profitable, many scammers, but there are still bounty campaigns that are profitable, our job is to find it. I prefer quality over quantity, supporting a few projects but good is better than supporting many projects that are not clear, just waste energy. For now, it's better to choose a bounty that has been listed on the market, good market capacity, weekly payments if possible, rewards in the form of strong coins and altcoin (like BTC and ETH), and have a working product.

Yes before doing any bounty that we don't know it's good or bad, we have to do own research and collecting informations from what projects that has successful bounty and find the similiarity to the upcoming bounties.
also for trading, we have to research and see the price history before enter a trade
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: October 29, 2019, 11:44:01 PM
Facebook is also easily launched libra but it's struggling with people acceptance because big investors still see cryptocurrency is a bubble.
China will easily launch a coin but we still don't know people acceptance, will the coins grow or people won't use it because it's regulated and controllable by the government.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie Trading Question? on: October 29, 2019, 01:41:06 PM
Am I missing something here? When I see the whales move the market this quickly should I just grab onto their tales and go for the ride? It seems like a sure thing but I know I'm missing something. Please educate me as to what is wrong with my reasoning.
If you really want to trade or become a trader. Don't rely too much on fundamentals, just like what you saying which is some whale things and I think you are saying that some people are manipulating the market.
Since you are just starting, it is much better for sure to learn first some technical analysis especially on using chart.
Don't just based on percentage gains,  you should also check it on the chart, with candles or volume indicators.

One more thing advice for beginner trader, we don't have to always get profits in our trade. Sometimes cutloss is needed to reduce more loss.
But make sure we can control our risk management and make our profits is more than our loss. Not easy at first, maybe we'll struggling for a month for doing daytrading, but when we know the cycles i'm sure taking 1-3% profits a day is not hard.
332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Noob needs portfolio tracker recommendation! on: October 29, 2019, 12:19:44 PM
Blockfolio is still my best portofolio and it accessable via android and you can download it on playstore and also for ios you can downlaod it on appstore.
It covered almost every coins and tokens and also many different exchanges available with up to date price. Also we can read news about crypto from the apps and the user interface is friendly and easy to use
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: October 29, 2019, 10:54:55 AM
I have two different coins i got in bounty now the price are so cheap. So that i hold it hoping that someday the price will goes up.
That bounty i got almost a year but until now the price is not yet recover.
I also have tokens that has cheap value currently, but when I got it from the bounty that I participated in a year ago the price is quite decent to sell but I chose to hold. Its because I believe in this token and the team behind it, up to now there's a progress in their project but still its not the time to sell because the value is too low. I cant say I made the wrong decision to hold since its my own will but somehow I have this regret of not selling before.

You can learned from your mistakes that old token that the price alreay falldown is really hard or almost impossible to comeback because many new projects upcoming everyday.
So investors won't look back at the fall down tokens, they are hunting the new tokens that has potential to grow, so i think old tokens with fall down price are impossible to to rise up because crypto competition is hard
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: October 29, 2019, 09:03:56 AM
the right choice because I also have considerable confidence with ETH as altcoin which still has value and price for long-term investment and ETH is still ranked the best as altcoin than altcoin, most importantly our belief and patience is the best capital in investing with what that we invest in
Litecoin may actually still look like a more potential altcoin to Ethereum right now because they still have a very fresh system that has not been corrupted, and Litecoin has no image that has been dented like the way Ethereum has now.

In the past, we use to all respect Ethereum, but I doubt if many people still value it that much ever since the ICO started becoming a thing of fear to majority of us, and since ICO has not been a very much interesting and profitable investment, Ethereum has been losing so much of its value because of lack of proper and standard project again which I would tell you that it is what people rely on more, unlike Litecoin that people depend on it more because of its technology and how fast it is in executing transactions.

Those scam icos is not the fault of ethereum, ethereum has a very good management and trustful company with great people on it.
Those ICOs are just creating on erc-20 which is easy to create, and it's also the greatness of ethereum that everyone can make a token easily with their platform.
There are still many upcoming project from ethereum and i'm sure ethereum will get better in the future
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Creates Currency to Cancel-out Cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2019, 08:18:40 AM
I think eventhough china make their own controlled curreny, the people of china will not use it and still stick with cryptocurrency because people want freedom and the current cryptocurrency is what they need.
Decentralized and the owner of the currency is undetectable are the 2 things that make people love cryptocurrency
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Support Or Have You Supported A Coin That Makes A Comeback on: October 29, 2019, 06:53:27 AM
It depends on the coin's company management. If they have a breakthrough to their coins and will make something big i would definitely invest on them.
If the coin is dead a their company has nothing to do, no chance to the coins for rising up again, so i won't invest on them
337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading by follow signals. Is it good? on: October 29, 2019, 04:08:45 AM
Not totally good, sometimes big trading signals are just manipulated their analysis so they bought the trade first then ask their follower to buy the same coin.
But before the coins reach the target sell that they made, they sell their coins and price dump before the target.
Sometimes the signals makers usually doing like this in small volume exchange or local exchanges
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 29, 2019, 02:50:56 AM
I think become a trader and programmer is really different way. You won't get experts on one of them if you doing both.
Traders is have to learn the technical analysis and also always have to read the news about crypto everytime because crypto price is oftenly affected by the news.
And if you want to be a programmer you have to learn many new technology or programming language everytime.
So i think you have to focus at one speciality.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: October 29, 2019, 01:10:31 AM
It's because the crypto market lately monotonous, eveybody is doing daytrading to earn money and not having an investment for a long run.
Old investors are running away because there was a lot of scams happened in crypto, so i think we'll have to wait longer until the price recovering again
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: October 28, 2019, 11:05:09 PM
Crypto prices for the past days have been so bad, literally no improvements, bitcoin, the leading coin has only been moving with the same 9,500-10,300$ axis, although it was projected that the price rise to 20,000$ by the end of the year, is this still achievable?

I would say it's achieveable right now because bitcoin currently is on the way to break 10k.
After a big pump several days ago, bitcoin looks strong stand still on 9,4k+ , i could be go to 20k if something big news appear and attract many new investors
