They are favoured for the Champions League title a lot by bookmakers as well. However I don't think it is very realistic at the moment.

They are like the second biggest favourite together with PSG according to them. But we all see how they are staying weak about finishing these days. If they don't improve their finishing skills more until the Champions League restarts then their job is really going to be difficult. PSG have also been getting interesting results recently though but they still have a very strong trio of Mbappe, Messi and Neymar. They are still more advantageous about scoring now in my opinion.

It was an important victory for Atletico Madrid. Osasuna were one of the challenging teams in the league. Playing an away game was even adding more difficulty in the game for Atletico Madrid. Because we all know how Atletico Madrid have been playing so far in the season. Honestly I was like the game would end up with a draw the most for their side.

However we have seen really positive things in the game from Atletico Madrid players. They were quite effective in their attacking line and this game might have finished by a bigger goal gap too. If they keep up this level they can at least secure their place in top 4.

Neither Milan nor Juventus are credible at the moment. Both of them are having serious problems with defending. Their latest games ended up with terrible results. Milan's chance of qualifying for the Champions League can also be under danger as long as they don't make an improvement in their defense line. They were a team that were in the title race before but now they are even worse than a couple of big teams in the league now.

Juventus' playing that bad against Monza might be related to their having serious problems recently. They must have lost their momentum because of that.

Tottenham - Manchester City is going to be the biggest game of the week in my opinion.

Manchester City are obviuosly the favourite side to win this game of course. The game in Etihad was really interesting but Manchester City still made an unforgettable comeback from being 2-0 behind. Tottenham have a good history in home games against them in the recent years but I still think Manchester City will break a leg finally. Normally it doesn't matter for Manchester City to play home or away while they are very strong. They beat Tottenham once and they can do it again. They had better do so to keep up with Arsenal as well.

Arsenal have started to spend quite a lot of money recently. After increasing their potential in the Premier League they want to play as big as possible.

Arsenal have offered 70 million pounds for Moises Caicedo while Brighton are insistent on 80 million. I expect them to reach an agreement in the middle. Actually Arsenal were said to have a less transfer budget than the amount they offered but it looks like the case is the opposite. Arsenal are doing their best not to secure only the Champions League but also the Premier League title. They have done a very good job about that so far.

Chelsea should absolutely be more effective in their attacking line from now on. Their main problem has been related to scoring and these transfers should be helpful from now on.

The Fulham game must be a starting point for Chelsea. This time I don't think Fulham will manage to get any point. Chelsea got a red card back then and it made things easier for Fulham to get ahead of them. But here I expect a solid game by Chelsea and hopefully they won't be bad at finishing as well. I can't wait to see the new talent Mudryk playing in the future games too. He will hopefully play a big role in the team.

This was one of the rare games that we watched Napoli having problems on winning. Roma played much better than I expected. Especially after seeing their performance against Napoli in Rome I thought like Napoli would get even a more comfortable win here. Still Napoli got the win of course that's what matters for them. Osimhen and Simeone's goals brought the victory.

Now we see Napoli 13 points ahead of Inter in the standings. They are in a very comfortable position from now on.

I really have no idea how the Real Madrid - Real Sociedad game ended up with a 0-0 draw.

There were so many goal attempts in the game in total. Real Madrid even had 20 attempts but none of them ended up with a goal. While Benzema and Vinicius Jr both were in the game it was interesting to see none of them being productive. This was just the result Real Sociedad wanted from this game of course. Because it was obvious that Real Madrid were going to be in control. Maybe they couldn't resist Barcelona in the Copa del Rey but they did it against Real Madrid.

PSG have a good opportunity ahead to open the point gap with Lens and Marseille both today. Because those two teams both lost two points this week.

PSG's matchup is really easy for them as they are going to host Reims. Their previous meet was quite interesting after PSG got a red card. Reims had so many goal attempts but it ended up with a 0-0 draw. This time I don't think PSG will lose points. This must be a comfortable game in Parc des Princes. The attacking trio would carry the team as usual.

Newcastle are still maintaining an impressive form by not losing a single game for many weeks. However they started to get draws quite often recently.

I think their next game will end up with a victory for Newcastle. West Ham have been horrible for weeks and they barely got their first win last week after a long time. I don't think they can resist Newcastle away this week. Newcastle have proven themselves about how eager they are to make it to the Champions League. I don't expect to see them losing points in this one.

Bayern Munich could have been better than this. They were really impressive in the first half and the result of it was really positive. However they had bigger problems in the second half. Frankfurt started to find more goal opportunities in this half and finally benefited from it by scoring the equalizer. This resulted in another point loss for Bayern Munich.

The title race is more alive than ever now. Union Berlin, Leipzig and Freiburg are right behind them in the standings. I would love to see this scenario until the end of the season. The Bundesliga can be more attracting in this way.

What the hell is happening in the Milan - Sassuolo game exactly? 

It is going on with Sassuolo's 5-2 lead in San Siro. I really don't understand what is going on with Milan players these days. They have been terrible at defending for many weeks. I hoped to see them finishing up this form with a victory against Sassuolo. However they are even getting a worse loss than the previous ones. Does Pioli really have nothing to do about this to fix it?

Lens got a really unfortunate draw against Troyes. Because they controlled the game completely but still this wasn't enough to win the game. Even their equalizer came quite late in the game and they could have even lost the game. Lens made really simple point losses like this and they are just giving away their title run so easy.

They must still be thankful for Marseille not winning against Monaco. They could have won actually despite Monaco's getting ahead first. The second half was under the domination of Marseille. But it was only enough for an equalizer in the first minutes of the half. The 2-point gap is maintained between Lens and Marseille as a result.

It was such an easy victory for Sevilla today. They didn't have any struggle against Elche in their home game. It was a 3-0 win and Elche's getting that red card made things even easier for Sevilla to win.

However even if that red card wasn't shown Sevilla would still have won this game by a dominant game. Because there was a significant difference between these teams before anything else. And there has been some improvement in Sevilla's form recently after getting two wins in the league. These wins will hopefully increase their confidence and they will maintain a decent streak from now on.

I haven't heard anything about that. Messi is still taking his time to make a decision on his future with PSG.

This must be worrying for the team because he is a critical part of the team now. His contribution level is so high that the team performance would surely be affected badly in his absence. I know that they played without Messi for years but now they are much stronger than ever. The trio should be maintained until winning the Champions League title at least.

I also believe that we will see Gakpo as one of the main players of the starting eleven. They have signed him with the aim of strengthening their attacking line in the end. Diaz has made a big impact but Liverpool were still unable to fill Mane's place. After the Gakpo transfer they can fix their problems in productivity in time hopefully.

He didn't seem very well in his first game maybe but I expect him not to have big problems on adaptation. He should get used to the league and the team soon and start showing his skills.

I'm very positive about the Freiburg - Augsburg matchup today. It must be a comfortable game for Freiburg side as there is a big gap between these teams. I'm aware of Freiburg's recent form in the league of course. They have been pretty bad lately as they have lost quite many points. Especially the Wolfsburg loss was by an embarrassing score. However I believe in Freiburg anyway to finish this form here by a decent win.

Bayern Munich - Frankfurt is a tough matchup as well. Bookmakers are underestimating Frankfurt too much. I would like to remind you of their latest game here which ended by Frankfurt's 2-1 win. After seeing how Bayern Munich performed against Koln I can't be sure of them. I'd rather bet on both teams to score.

Juventus have a good opportunity ahead to beat Monza and improve their form. Maybe they are dealing with other serious issues on one hand but they shouldn't let this situation prevent them from playing decently. Maybe there will be even no need for a relegation to the Serie B. I know that Juventus' job is too difficult to make it back to top 4. But they can at least fight for the 7th position to join the Europa Conference League at worst.

Monza aren't a team that are even close to Juventus' level. As many injured players have recovered at Juventus too I assume Juventus will get a decent win in Turin.

Lewandowski's absence will definitely have an affect on Barcelona's scoring performance. But I don't think their domination will be affected by that badly. Because Barcelona's usual game plan works well against this kind of smaller teams. It worked in the Getafe game as well you know and they won the game. Maybe it ended by only 1-0 but it was due to Lewandowski's absence.

A similar result can be obtained at the end of the Girona game as well. I trust Barcelona on winning this game. Their odd is also tempting to add to a parlay.

The Wolves game is going to be a chance for Liverpool to improve their performance. Because they have still been in a worrying condition. The injury problem they have is a serious factor about this of course. Especially Firmino and Diaz have been out for some time. This has dropped Liverpool's offensive performance a lot as a result.

Wolves are a really poor team in the league now. They are really weak in defense as well so Liverpool should be able to get a nice win here at least. I would like to see Nunez scoring too because he really needs some motivation for himself now.
