As the season has finally finished the upcoming transfer window is going to be quite exciting from now on. I don't know top teams of the league would rush anything at the first times of it already. But some of them had better start looking for better players to put in specific positions to strengthen them. For example Liverpool and Manchester United come to my mind firstly.
Liverpool need a significant improvement for their midfield. They chased Bellingham transfer but he is about to sign for Real Madrid officially. I assume they will finalize Mac Allister transfer instead after this news. He is a really talented player to make Liverpool midfield more reliable.
As for Manchester United they also need some fortification in the central midfield as there aren't many options there. Sabitzer might be added to the team permanently maybe or they would look for another player. Most importantly they need a reliable striker and Kane is the strongest candidate for now.

Monaco chased the Champions League chance for a long time but the drop in their form in the recent times caused them to fall behind a lot. After losing their chance mathematically it looks like they have given up on the league completely. Because for a couple of weeks they don't look like they care about joining the Europa League or any other European cup at all.
Their last two fixtures were tough ones against Lyon and Rennes though. But they could have still performed much better than this normally. Therefore even if they lose to Juventus tonight it looks like there is no way Milan fail in beating Verona. As head-to-head games are taken into account first in case of equal points, Juventus will need to beat them by at least two goals tonight. Things went great for Juventus when it comes to the other games of the teams between them and Milan though. Atalanta and Roma both lost and created an opportunity for Juventus to attack with all they have got for top four one last time. Lol, such calculations do not apply when it comes to league competitions, because such calculations are only applied in knockout competitions, I hope you understand. After all, if Juventus can beat Milan in this match, in reality Juventus will only rise to fifth place and not overtake Milan. lol! Actually this has been rumoured for some time and it looks like they are serious about this transfer. Firmino is actually only one of their targets right now. He might not be their first choice but they would think of him as a solid option I assume. Because his contract is about to expire with Liverpool. I think Celta Vigo will be the last team relegating from the La Liga. Because their job is going to be really difficult against Barcelona. Technically they can do the same thing Valladolid did to Barcelona but I still don't know. I feel like this time Barcelona would get 1 point at worst. On the other hand Valladolid can also beat Getafe home. Getafe seem to be one of the teams under threat technically but they are already two points ahead. This season was a nightmare for Tottenham and it finally came to an end. They couldn't even qualify for a European cup after the latest results. Because Aston Villa also won against Brighton while Tottenham were winning as well. This is a big failure for the team and somehow they managed to make things worse than the previous season.
This season is such a waste for Kane at the same time. Despite the poor performance of Tottenham in general Kane has been amazing by scoring 30 goals in the Premier League this season. After this failure I hope Kane prioritizes leaving the team immediately in case of getting offer from a favourable team.

I wasn't hopeful about Monaco GP much until the rain. Because the track is just not for seeing some overtakes. There is even only one DRS part on the whole track and the track is quite tight at the same time. Rain also didn't change much thing indeed and we saw many drivers maintaining their positions anyway. But especially Sainz had a bad day at Ferrari.
He pushed his luck too much against Ocon to try to overtake him after the tunnel exit and broke his front wing a little. He still maintained his pace for a while but Ferrari didn't call him on the right time. Sainz also complained about that. Because he wanted to focus on overtaking Ocon and making strategy for that. But instead the team wanted to make sure Hamilton doesn't get past him during pitting.

Real Madrid are getting close to finalizing the deal of Bellingham this summer. The total amount of this deal is said to be around 125 million euros according to some news sources. Dortmund couldn't get much money from Haaland's transfer due to some conditions on his contract. But it isn't the case for Bellingham thankfully for them. The series has come to 3-3 from a 3-0 Heat lead in an insane way last night. There was only 0.1 second left for the end of the game after Smart's three-point attempt failed. But Derrick White was there to tip the ball just before the time was up. It was a very epic finale for a game like that honestly. Game 7 is surely going to be very lovely and exciting to watch for us.
Heat's reaching this round is even a surprise and they are doing more and more every time. But now we never know if they can do this again. Because Celtics have the wind on their back now.

Leicester are going to relegate from the league today most probably. Because Everton are two points ahead and I guess they would manage to beat Bornemouth home. Bournemouth don't have anything to fight for right now in the end. Therefore it feels really different to see Leicester reaching this point from the point they became the Premier League champions for the first time in their history.
They still have really skilled players in their squad but things can still reach this point at the end of the season. It must be feeling awful for especially these players and they would most probably leave the team to not play in the Championship. It was really unbelievable to see Dortmund literally handing over the league title to Bayern Munich in the final moment of the season. The first half of the Dortmund - Mainz game must be a joke. They just conceded 2 goals from a team that were playing just a prestige game. How can't Dortmund realize the seriousness of this game for themselves?
Dortmund just did everything they could to lose their title opportunity. This was their biggest opportunity to win the Bundesliga title after a ten-season Bayern Munich dominance. Dortmund supporters must be very angry with their team. It is so annoying to see Bayern Munich being able to win the title even in this kind of conditions.

Such a waste of chances by Sevilla today.  Despite their getting ahead very early in the game they still couldn't prevent a comeback by Real Madrid and they lost by 2-1 home. Besides Sevilla's general performance in the attacking line wasn't good enough either. Because they had only 1 out of 11 goal attempts on target in the whole game. They didn't show a big passion here. I know that they are focused on the Europa League finale but it isn't guaranteed for them to win that title anyway. I'm not surprised with Marseille's losing to Brest like that. Because they already lost the most of their chance for the second position before and Lens secured the position by destroying Ajaccio home today as well. Rashford still hasn't extended his contract with Manchester United and it must be getting more worrying for the team on one hand. Because Rashford has made a huge progress recently. All the games are starting at the same time because of our being on the final week of the season. It means that we will be able to follow the games even more excitedly. Union Berlin seem to be more advantageous compared to Freiburg in the standings now. Maybe they have the same points but Union Berlin have 4 more score difference than them which is crucial to determine the owner of last position in top four. Furthermore Union Berlin have an easier fixture ahead compared to Freiburg. Even if they both win this week I think Union Berlin will maintain the fourth position and make the score difference gap between two teams even bigger than now. |

Everything is clear about the teams joining the Champions League and Europa League before the final week of the season. There is still unresolved business in the standings on one hand though. There are still three teams fighting over the spot for the Europa Conference League which are Aston Villa, Tottenham and Brentford. And it is so sad to see Tottenham here honestly.
But with what Tottenham have shown in recent seasons, especially this season, is it something bad if they only play in the conference league? Maybe many think that if Tottenham play in a European competition that is less competitive, Tottenham will be able to do more, but I see it will be the same. Tottenham will still only be an average team without impressive achievements, and its best achievement is the Champions League when it was beaten by Liverpool in the final. In the conference league if Tottenham manages to qualify there, they will only meet with teams looking weaker, but they might have better motivation in the tournament unlike Tottenham who even when playing in the league always displays inconsistency and any team always has a chance to beat them, maybe if Tottenham had a more experienced coach who has the ability to turn this club into a more competitive next season then the conference league would be a title for them even though it's not as prestigious as the european league or champions league but getting the title would certainly be more good isn't it? Tottenham have had a terrible season so far which is a fact. Conte started the season well first but their form started to drop down very much after a point. And after his leaving the team they got even worse. Only joining the Europa Conference League won't be a good achievement for them of course. This team have a bigger potential normally considering the general quality of their players. The thing they need is to find the right manager for themselves. Nagelsmann is the biggest candidate according to latest news but we will wait and see after the end of the season. |

The results to be obtained in the Fiorentina - Roma and Inter - Atalanta games will be really crucial for Juventus. Because Juventus still maintain their chance for top four even the probability is not very high. Because in case they win against Milan home tomorrow they will hope for Roma and Atalanta to lose points as well. But I'm not sure if both of them would do so.
Maybe Atalanta can lose points against Inter but I think Roma can beat Fiorentina away. Because Fiorentina are aimless now while Roma are still fighting for the Champions League or at least maintaining their current position.
