3361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warning regarding Luckywins on: December 15, 2021, 08:52:18 AM
ALERT!
Gibraltar Regulators warned Luckywins regarding their suspicious activity. Luckywins.io presented a false Gibraltar License and at the same time presented the players with fake bonuses. They also created probelms for the players regarding their Privacy, asked them to upload their documents on various websites, They even used the logo of the government for their own benefits and ofc the license was fake.
Therefore if anyone is on that site or is thinking about going on their site and placing few bets, I strongly suggest you not to!! This might be even worse for the players if they try and get indulged in identity thefts, please be wise and take care of which sites you are trusting.
Source: https://www.gamblingnews.com/news/luckywins-is-warned-by-gibraltar-regulator-over-suspicious-activities/

So they faked everything, including government documents such as a casino license and only got a warning? Gibraltar is really lenient huh? That sounds a bit unbelievable. However if you have proof about their suspicious activities you should post this in scam accusations sub-forum rather than in gambling discussion. That seems like something that everyone should be aware of, so they can stay away from Luckywins...
3362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: December 15, 2021, 08:48:59 AM
After the initial success of Shiba Inu coin

Success? What success? Shiba Inu Coin is and always was a pump and dump doge clone failure that was never going to catch up to doge anyway. The entire premise of Shiba Inu Coin was that the "burned" part of the market cap, aka the part "given" to the Ethereum founder, was never supposed to be brought into rotation. But as we know, Vitalik showed everyone what he thinks of dogecoin ripoffs. Everything else was just hype.

If you want to stay away from scammers, you should look at the liquidity, age and market cap of a coin. I recommend coinmarketcap for that.
3363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: December 14, 2021, 02:16:16 PM
Chasing losses is never been a good behavior as a gambler because this would really trigger out those emotions which would lead to more mistakes.
Panjul is a veteran gambler with lots of experience, so I won't question his emotional control and stuff.

However, even veteran gamblers may not used to deal with "cold period" of slots games. It's a quite long period of slots rekt that demotivates player from playing the game (retired) or make them not patient enough to wait for the "hot period" thus they burn more money than their gambling budget. For me, I just play with my budget as usual. For sure, it's just "for fun" budget.

I really doubt that being a veteran gambler is any kind of indicator for emotional stability. What if he had a really bad day, his wife leaves him, somebody in the family/friends die, he loses his job? One bad day is all somebody need to lose control and lose a lot of money gambling. I think everybody has had moments like these or even worse. They decide to go with emotions. Its just human nature, regardless of how experienced they are.
3364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: December 14, 2021, 02:11:56 PM
I actually did not know that getting birthday presents from online betting companies or casinos was a thing. Do we have a list of companies or websites that do this? How much do they usually give you? Going from a perspective of anti-scam I think you would probably need to do KYC if anything, otherwise anyone could make new accounts and claim these prizes. So far I have not gotten anything :/
3365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: December 14, 2021, 02:08:14 PM
I think crypto will replace fiat in the coming years. Whether it will be in 10 or 100 years I cannot really tell. What I can say is, is that the current system of printing money endlessly does not work and is completely corrupt. It is not trustless or without third parties. Crypto is deflationary and does not require trust in the first place. Its just a better money system. But i doubt the corrupt bankers like that.
3366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you trade your crypto on: December 14, 2021, 02:05:40 PM
I am currently using trustwallet and 1inch to trade on the binance smart chain. I do not need to provide KYC or leave my wallet in the hands of a third party. A lot of people are saying they prefer Binance but their only reasoning is that they have a large selection of coins to choose from. That alone is not enough to convince me to send my data to a chinese-linked company. Or any company outside of my own government.
3367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: December 13, 2021, 07:51:06 PM
I learned from the learning by doing method. Every mistake was a costly and painful lesson Roll Eyes I really do not recommend it. Best way to learn about trading is to read up on it on serious websites like investopedia. Do not by any means listen to influencers/youtubers/vloggers or bloggers of any kind. Especially if they are flaunting their "earnings". The lambos in their videos never belong to them. IF they were good traders, they wouldnt be selling courses.

Stick to serious literature on the subject and do your own research. Don't use the "strategies" of others.
3368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a crime? on: December 13, 2021, 03:29:02 PM
Is is a crime or a plagiarism if you know that your english is not very good. You write a long arricle and give it to another person to correct the english in the article for you before you will now post it in the group or forum.

That really depends on many things. I cannot offer legal advice as I am not a lawyer, but if that person who corrects your article is using plagerised text, then you may be liable for posting it. Especially if the article is used to make money or advertise services that are supposed to generate a profit.

Or perhaps if the person who corrects the text is expected to be paid for his services and you use the text without paying.

As I said, it depends on the context.

However if its a volunteered edit, with no expected pay, and no copy/pasted plagerisms, then it should be totally fine to use. Cool
3369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 13, 2021, 03:21:40 PM
I think everyone agrees with Mike Tyson beating the unproven Logan Paul (who has yet to win a single fight in an exhibition match.)  Mike Tyson might be at the higher end of the age spectrum and people might be feeling that his strength is no longer what it was, but I think that is a poor excuse, especially when it comes to experience and training. Mike Tyson has yet to disappoint us.
3370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1XBIT campaign could be the next longest running campaign even with scam reports on: December 13, 2021, 03:13:38 PM
I don't really see the point of not banning 1xbit from this entire forum. Why are they allowed to keep advertising even though they are a well documented scam? This seems to me as a gross negligence in part of the Bitcointalk moderators. I understand that some people are desperate to make some money, but I think in the long term, more people will lose money rather than make it.
3371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you want to know better about btc on: December 13, 2021, 03:09:52 PM
It feels to me like this is the most useless thread I have seen for quite a while now. Voxo2222 seems to have no idea what Bitcoin is about or where it is getting its value from. If I had to guess, I would say this poster is a unsupervised child trolling on a serious forum for no apparent reason. The best course of action would be to lock the thread and ignore the poster and his future spam.

Anyone who wants to learn about Bitcoin and how it derives its value, I would highly recommend perusing the beginners and help section of this forum. You will find many useful links and info there!
3372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2021, 11:09:52 AM
When i first heard about bitcoin, one of the selling points then was the pseudo anonymity. But as of recently, it is hard to purchase any crypto without encountering a form of KYC.

I’m just curious of everyone’s thought on this.

Yes, KYC is the governments effort to control crypto for tax and regulation reasons. However I see this effort as an impossible goal achievement because the blockchain community is already far ahead in terms of decentralised finance and decentralised wallets. We already can trade anonymously and in a few years we will have other ways to trade in ways that the government cannot track. KYC is a fruitless attempt at control.
3373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any recomendation about dex and dapps that can be for trading?? on: December 12, 2021, 11:06:52 AM
I want to know how china survive from gov crypto ban by using dex and dapps...and how to trade using dex and dapps ,are they the same with using cex like(binance,coinbase)..if i want to know about dex and dapps where i can be study, recommendation learning channel about that....review of current dex and dapps that ur guys are using Smiley

As far as I know, a lot of VPNs are banned in China now, so if they do find a good VPN, they would still need to find a way to transfer fiat for crypto and back. This could be done directly by cash though. As far as trading on Dapps is concerned, they can easily use something like trustwallet and an aggregator like 1inch (to find the best swap price). So trading crypto to crypto anonymously and decentralised is not a problem.
3374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you lose interest to deposit and play more..., on: December 12, 2021, 11:00:18 AM
There is no such thing as perfect online casinos because of the many rules and conflicting laws on the location of their players, there will always be accusations some could be valid some because of misinterpretation of the TOS, so I'd to ask all gambling players do you lose interest to deposit and play on the casinos you're playing if they have unresolved cases.

It really depends on what you mean by saying that they have "unresolved cases". Are you talking about legitimate scam accusations or people complaining about certain aspects and rules of the casino site? I think most people do not bother reading the TOS and end up infuriated because they did not follow certain rules and now have to face the consequences. But some sites do make it extra hard to understand the rules and in the end, it ends up as an advantage to them if they withhold withdrawals.
3375  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: December 12, 2021, 10:57:03 AM
I agree, a lot of these so-called influencers do this kind of fake marketing and it should be punished by law, in my opinion. It would seem to me that these kind of people have learned a trick or two from the "day-trading" influencers who "teach" people how to do technical analysis and how to make daily profits by selling them a course they have to pay a fee for.

We really need laws so people won't do this crap.
it is not new , since the world of Internet covered the whole advertising community things like this pop up and now dominates the whole system, they are fooling people from fake and not so true advertising just to lure them believing what is a Lie than reality.
but this does not mean that the site they are promoting is totally scam or not legit because we have known the involved site for long and they are truthful to the players and there are no big issues arise against them for thos years.

The issue isn't in them promoting a certain site or certain activities. The issue is that they lie about the methods of making money because it makes their promotion look better. Some even rent lambos or make fake luxury posts on social media sites. The idea is to make their viewers think that their fake methods work and it made them rich. This is never true and is always a lie. Thats the problem.
3376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My crypto lessons in 2021 on: December 11, 2021, 03:26:00 PM
2021 have bring so much growth to millions of people around the world I'm glad to have believe in this new technology called crypto and I'm sure as time goes on I will eventually get better at my crypto investment skills, I made more money than I lost but

1. Still I ended losing more money than I made, I was sitting on 30,000$ profit last month but I failed to take profit just because of 100k BTC rumour that looks like reality

2. be careful of Crypto YouTubers deceiving people to buy in cryptos where as they are simply predictions, most times crypto market can't be predicted correctly

3. Follow your heart and nothing else cos if I've done that I would have pull my 30k profits and now I'm left with 5000$ in usdt

Well the race isn't over yet, one day I will look back and laugh hard at all this, stay safe

A lot of that seems to be quite dangerous advice, if you were to ask me. First of all, if your coin goes down in value, one thing you never do is sell. Either you believe in your investment or you do not, flip flopping will lose you money. Secondly, never listen to "influencer" or other people selling "courses". I think its obvious why. Third, don't follow your heart when you trade. Learn technical analysis and make a strategy. Keep your emotions out of the game.
3377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 11, 2021, 03:20:04 PM
Well, from my perspective, and that is a perspective which comes from watching two things: the news and the chart. I can only say that this is a regular correction which is kept being pushed down by bad news like the omicron news, the news about Biden inflation and some other small things.

I would not call this a dump. Rather an expected dip. The monthly has been up for too long and we were very oversold on the RSI. I recommend visiting the speculation subforum if you want to speculate...
3378  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is why I love this forum...and we should make it more powerful on: December 11, 2021, 03:17:16 PM
Seems to me that this kind of things come regularly but you cannot really call it deception or a scam if they mention that this is how they do it in their rules. It just looks like you did not bother reading up on that before you used their services. So really, this thread has nothing to do with them paying you, but rather this is a thread about you complaining about something because you did not read the rules.
