2401  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin is King on: July 29, 2022, 04:44:41 AM
All the altcoins have the same lifecycle - create hype, pump the coin, fail to deliver on promises, coin falls to obscurity. People don't notice this an believe in "good projects" because they like to have hope of making quick x10 gains on "the next big thing". Altcoin market is just a casino with very bad odds, but just like with real casinos, people tend to focus on the rare stories of big wins and ignore the reality of frequent losses.

It can be explained much smoother with a single phrase that we have been using for the lifetime of altcoins: "its a pump and dump". People buy it, the people behind pump it higher, create more hype and then dump it at the top and run off with the money, probably to buy actual Bitcoins.

People need to understand while 100x or 500x coins do exist, they will never be able to buy them at the prices that they wish they could buy them. Otherwise the entire profit scheme just buckles and there is nothing left for the people behind the scamcoin to steal.

You can 100x easily by investing in the right project at the right time. Just make sure its a project which is actually trying to build something.
2402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Wasabigeddon' article discussion (it supposedly solves fungibility) on: July 29, 2022, 04:31:00 AM
As I mentioned in the other thread, although I take many issues with this article, this is what bothers me the most:

This makes Wasabi Wallet 2.0, the missing piece of Bitcoin: it solves its fungibility, as far as English speaker, hot desktop wallet users are concerned.
[/b]
This is simply a lie, and there is no debating that this is a lie.

In my mind, Wasabi and their team are rapidly moving from "hopelessly misguided" to "actively malicious".

Wow. Now thats what I call an ego. "Wasabi Wallet 2.0, the missing piece of Bitcoin". Even for marketing PR thats a bit too rich for my taste. Who do wasabists think they are? First they claim to filter out the "shady" transactions now they are turning their wallet into the shitcoin version of wallets. All hype, hyperbole and hyperego.

I was not impressed by wasabi wallet since the day I found out about it. It had way too much hyped-up marketing, especially on Bitcointalk. When something goes from barely noticeable to on every second page, thats when I know its a desperate marketing tactic.

Wasabi wallet is trying to undermine everything Bitcoin stands for as if the SEC were paying them personally. Im not buying into their BS.
2403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: July 29, 2022, 04:18:17 AM
Bitcoin has broken the all time high of 2017 and now it is around 19,000$. The worst part is that even on these level, we are not seeing any pumps and look like price may fall all the way to 10,000$ or even lower.
Once bitcoin was at 69,000$, who would have thought that bitcoin will go so low so fast ?  Now what do think, where we are in terms of bitcoin cycle. I think we are already in th bear market since summer of last year and maybe the bottom/ end of bear market is near ?

I hope that the recent pump lifted your spirit up a bit. People who are disappointed by Bitcoin are people who never really believed or researched Bitcoin. They either went into the investment blindly or with half-baked knowledge. Exactly those are the kind of people who panic sell and then panic buy and panic sell again and over and over and over. Until all their money is gone. Then they say they are disappointed by Bitcoin...

If you believe in Bitcoin then your best option would be to just hodl and not think about downs and ups too much.
2404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 29, 2022, 04:05:45 AM
I think the rise of streamers is happening everywhere. Not only in online gambling. I would not be surprised if we soon see streamers react to gore videos or some other taboo stuff. The entertainment culture of the internet is shifting towards watching more, not doing more. So we now watch people who do something. Its very strange and a bit saddening if you think about it.

Honestly I do watch a good streamer every now and then so I have no say in any of the matter but online gambling streamers might be a funny idea. Especially their reactions during winning or losing might make good view content alone.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 28, 2022, 09:56:31 PM
obviously, it won't be the same, and not just the gambling board, other boards will probably be affected too. like it or not one of the main reasons why the gambling board is highly active is because of the signature campaign and if the signature campaigns are gone I'm sure we'll see a decrease in posts on this board.

Yes, exactly my thoughts on the matter. Why would we not expect to see a huge loss in the activity of the forum? Especially in parts like the gambling subsection? it should be obvious to anyone that once the signatures go away, most of the posting incentives go away and we see ourselves with a half empty forum, slowly dying out due to not enough activity.

Thats not a good idea. Lets keep the signatures and even better, lets find ways to expand the whole signature paradigm to somehow make this forum even more popular. What else could we add which would be an improvement?
2406  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 28, 2022, 07:03:10 PM
A lot of it has to do with the government regulating people's actions. Its mostly artificial so I doubt that it will stay as a long-time trend. Things will slowly but surely go back to how they were, so online gambling casinos as well as physical casinos should see this as a short setback. I think they would have been better prepared if the governments gave a few months warning before implementing further restrictions and lockdowns. Most people had no idea what the government was going to do next and it really messed up people's businesses

Even with the restriction made by government during the pandemic break that halted almost all gambling activities from taking place except for virtual, many of the casino operators and other gambling games inventors take the bold step forward in reaching out to the people by supplying them with releived materials during the pandemic lockdown while some other remain mute doing nothing, some government as well remain adamant while some shifted ground and will never be forgotten.

The government and alls its vassals and politicians and liars did certainly do a lot of damage during the corona pandemic, thats for sure. But at least we saw their true colors. Whenever there is an emergency, those are the people who will betray us first.

Although having said that gambling casino's game developers and operators did do some things which could be seen as relief for the lock-down-ees but being as pessimistic and suspicious as I am, I would probably say that 99% of that was just good marketing and PR.

Just like a megacorporation wearing blm flags on their social media accounts. Im not buying it.

The moon doesn't emit light, so it does not shine, it just reflects the sun's light. So much for Indian aerospace scientist and politician, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Roll Eyes

Its just like Shitcoins™ reflect because Bitcoin emits its glorious shine on them.

The moon still shines even if it does not emit its own Light. It shines with the help of its celestial friend Wink

The moon's an asshole who makes his friend do all the work and then steals credit like it was all his light in the first place. #Cancelthemoon

2409  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 27, 2022, 04:06:16 PM
I believe that the global corona virus epidemic really pushed down the interest for many things like sports gambling but other online gambling was not really one of them. If anything I think the other online gambling casinos branches really profited off the new, bored and locked-down gamblers.

You're right here, the virtual sport games were less affected during the pandemic raid, lot of things went wrong while some were lay on pause during the period just for the normalcy to occur and now things were better than were before, the advance technology system in businesses and sport makes it have less effects on some individuals even though at the expense of the economy because the whole system is running on inflation, just few were less affected with the effect of covid 19 pandemic.

With the new technology, after experiencing the pandemic there are more new ways to continue betting, the digital world will always find ways and will try to work on whatever the situation will be, it's true that everything got stop especially for sports that needed to be dealing with face to face but there are e-games that still can be done without it.

With fewer cases of the virus the show must go on, and we will see how the sports community will maximize these opportunities to bring back the joy and entertainment, and the gambling market will not allow to be left behind they will offer every possible way as well to maximize the chances of all those loyal patrons and newcomers.

After the vaccine releases, there are a lot of people that don't mind anymore with the virus because they think they are already safe but it is just lessen the risk only to get a covid and also the investors and businessmen see the potential of having an online gambling casino even though they didn't open through physical casino still they can make an earning with the adaptation of the cryptocurrency at the same time. By that the both sides satisfied the casino runs and get their earnings and the players satisfied themselves to play gambling.

A lot of it has to do with the government regulating people's actions. Its mostly artificial so I doubt that it will stay as a long-time trend. Things will slowly but surely go back to how they were, so online gambling casinos as well as physical casinos should see this as a short setback. A raft of small-minded people is sailing into infinite stupidity...

What do you mean shitcoins and ponzi lending schemes are not good investments? Who would have thought.
2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 27, 2022, 03:45:46 PM
Yeah I will have to agree with what most people are saying in this thread. If you cannot make it yourself and you do not have the money to buy the people who can make it for you, then you are out of luck. There is no way for you, a online-casino-newbie to put hard work into your project therefore I doubt you will find any investors who will be interested unless you are very slick at talking. You can try crowdfunding. But you need to show a very detailled and nice idea of the project before anyone will even be interested in listening.
to create a casino gambling place it will require a very large amount of money capital and at least the founder must understand the digital world or at least be able to programming languages because if you only rely on money and do not have computer science to build a gambling website system then one day when the developer who is recruited comes out it will be confused and can't check the system for bugs or not so that it can make this gambling owner not exposed to fraud as often happens in cyberspace.
It would really be needing huge amount of money because this is a business that really needs to be set up properly.
Consider the ff:

1. Site Bankroll
2. Site design UI/UX
3. Support or staff members
4. Security
etc.....

You cant really just not put emphasis on this key areas because it would really be such a waste if your business ending up on a
failure just because you hadnt put up emphasis nor importance.

I have worked with start up projects before and I have never seen a single serious project with less than $50000 USD seed capital. Usually it is even $100000 USD funding that they require from multiple investors or self-funding.

As far as Online Gambling Casinos go, especially considering the risk of having people win large amounts of money that you HAVE TO pay out immediately, I don't think that casinos will need less than double or even triple of that of regular projects.

So I am going to take a guess and say that no less than $100000 USD is going to bring you very far, even if you save on developer cost by being a developer yourself.
2412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi’s exit - planned from day 1? on: July 27, 2022, 03:36:35 PM
I’m sure this topic has been talked about before on here many times, but not sure I’ve ever seen anyone start a thread about it. I’ve read through many of Satoshis threads over the years (some more than once), studied everything about him I have been able to find etc, and one aspect of his creation I find really fascinating is that he left the project when he did. I’m convinced he knew from day one he was going to leave the project like he did. That fact that there’s no face to bitcoin lends so much to its value as a currency and asset. Do you feel the same way, or have a different take on it?

Maybe Satoshi’s exit was planned from day, maybe he just did not want to have all the publicity once he noticed how popular Bitcoin was becoming. Maybe he though he would get punished by governments over some trumped up BS charges against him or downright assassinated by bankers and their cronies.

Or maybe he did not want to put a face on Bitcoin as the face of Bitcoin is the community. So maybe he wanted the community to be the face of Bitcoin. We might never know so there really is no big point in making guesses.

But thats just my thinking.

2414  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 26, 2022, 02:25:30 PM
^^ Regardless where gambling originated, China or India or ancient Middle East, gambling has been ingrained with humanity since the dawn of man. Perhaps our ancestors really found out a clever way to dice, whether to used it for entertainment or other purposes. And this is how we involved, and this is also the same reason why it's hard to get rid of gambling because it's already on our DNA as per our ancestors.
Indian culture is very rich in gambling and so does Chinese, but likewise there are two group in India - one who gamble and the other who do not.
Those who gamble also are forbidden in their culture. So even if the people gamble but they have this guilt feeling at the back of their mind. That they might loose their hard earned money.

Indian culture is very rich in gambling? I have never really heard of Indian gambling being a huge thing. Chinese gambling, yes, without a doubt. But not Indian. Some parts of the middle east are very lax on gambling and enjoy it as part of their culture. Especially United Arab Emirates (mostly Dubai with its rich nightlife).

I think gambling probably will find its oldest (and still findable) roots within China. Thats just me guessing though. For some reason it feels like something which the chinese have had in their culture for a long time already.

It might have been Africa but I doubt most African countries have had a concept for it back many years ago. Most did not even have a concept of money.
2415  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [7-21-2022]Insider trading charges filed against CB employee on: July 26, 2022, 02:11:57 PM
They all insider-trade. I completely agree with what some people in this thread are saying. Coinbase just happened to get caught. Of course, they still deserve punishment for it. Once again showing how CEX will always be inferior to DEX which will always be inferior to P2P trading.

This kind of shady insider trading is something you can find a lot of especially in exchanges which offer derivative trading. Its all a bunch of horseshit. People do not really understand the scam which is high leverage liquidation. If you want to short your coin just swap it for USDT. Now you're shorting at 1x without any liquidation point. Better, right?

Hope Coinbase gets what it deserves.
2416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing In Cryptocurrencies For Tuition Fees on: July 26, 2022, 01:57:22 AM
Investing in cryptocurrencies for tuition fees might seem like a good idea but it is not really the case for short term investments. But if you invest in say, Bitcoin today and your child goes to school 3 years later, you would probably be in the green. Or in Bitcoins case, in the orange.  Roll Eyes Tongue

Personally, I would not risk any money which I need in the near future, no matter how good the outcome might seem. Do not think about investing with money that you need for something else. Especially something important like sending your children to school.

I feel like some parents would hold their child off from going to school until their investment shows profits. But by that time the child could already have finished a year or two of school....  Shocked
2417  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 26, 2022, 01:32:40 AM
After the global epidemic that started in 2019, there were problems not only in football but also in all sports branches. However, sports branches that appealed to the audience live, such as football, were more affected.

Even if normalization begins towards the end of last season, we are getting ready to enter a season that we can call normal.

In this process, especially for football, I think that the big teams lose more power in general. Because supporter support is one of the most important criteria. This season, we will have a more normal season and I think we can watch better matches. Of course, we may also be entering a more enjoyable period for betting.

I believe that the global corona virus epidemic really pushed down the interest for many things like sports gambling but other online gambling was not really one of them. If anything I think the other online gambling casinos branches really profited off the new, bored and locked-down gamblers. But since sports players could not have the freedom to play, it really took the wind out of the fans sails. I think a large number of sport fans never returned after corona was over (basically over).

But thats just a logical conclusion, I might be completely wrong...
2418  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetInsider - Free Tips and Predictions on: July 26, 2022, 01:14:07 AM

as you created a thread in this forum, I suggest that you post frequently in this thread the tips of some games, that way people will be able to see how far your tips are good or not and they will be able to discuss about each game you will be posting tips, I believe it can be a good thing to discuss ideas and each person give tips on this thread too

We will NEVER ask for money in return (eg. subscriptions, fixed games)

i hope this is true

It usually never is. Or they call it something else like a membership fee or something.  I am clearly stating that I am very dubious of anyone advertising tips and predictions of any kind. Whether Bitcoin, stocks or gambling. In 99% of all cases it leads to the same profit scheme of taking people for fools while also taking their money.

How do you make these predicitions? Do you have a system? How does it work? Can you show us proof of past predictions you have made which turned a profit for the person buying in on the prediction? How do you plan to make money with this idea?

All important questions that need answering.

Welcome to the forum.

Can we stop talking about shitcoins and which shitcoin is the best shitcoin? It makes the WO so boring.

While I agree with what you have said. But, Your username is another shitcoin. No? Is it referring to as Bitcoin, by any chance?

Well goldking-coins don't exist so what do you think?

I called myself the king of (Bit)coiners to feel more special than everyone else and I gave myself a gold membership to feel even more special. Goldkingcoiner. Tongue

IDK man its just a random thing I thought up. No meaning whatsoever.
