Cashback Club rake and affiliate bonuses have been credited to player's secure Moneypot accounts, enjoy everyone! This week players earned over 1.6 BTC back for playing at https://betterbets.io

Thanks! And it looks like raffle tickets are increasing quickly. Are there more 2+ winner lotteries planned?
3382  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: September 06, 2015, 10:36:15 PM
I'm down to using two exchanges somewhat regularly: Bittrex and Poloniex. I was using Cryptsy for the longest time but have pretty much swayed away from them.

3384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: September 06, 2015, 10:33:44 PM
I would say strictly avoid the wapsites which says come and invest with me and I will pay you double after this week they will just run away with your funds..if you want to take a small percent oglf risk then trading is a good iption and don't go for the cloud minings..they are not much profitable

uco1 was a website about cloud mining and to withdraw money you had to invest in their site, and the minimum payout was hard to reach. And it become to scam since their website is not working !!!

Right
I lost 10000 satoshi there...

i have so far more lost than earned...
but generally it was little cash.

Hopefully i didn't invested a penny there, because the system platform was just suspicious and just wanted to see what will happen with that free bonus they gave but ended in scamming all.
I am so tired of Ponzi schemes and they money they have stolen from me that I will never trust such a site again, and I will be calling out all "CloudMining" sites as hoaxes. This shit needs to stop.

Really? If you had actually looked at what you were investing in (hint: cloud mining can be proven unprofitable with very basic mathematics) you wouldn't have lost anything. Trust the numbers. Math doesn't lie.
3385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: September 06, 2015, 10:32:32 PM
There are some mini jobs at bitcoinget.com that you can do for bitcoins. Won't get rich off of them, but beats faucets and gambling.

Thanks a bunch! I signed up, but so far every 'job' I've clicked on there is no work. That's weird...

Get a real job. Use fiat to buy BTC. It is the fastest, easiest way to earn Bitcoin. Looking for any other method is going to result in less earnings, less BTC, and a hell of a lot more work. Work smart, not hard.
3386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 06, 2015, 10:31:00 PM
martingale is the only dice strategy i know but it doesn't work on the long run and it needs a decent amount of bitcoins to start

Dooglus already showed the math months ago, proving that the BEST chance of getting profit is a single 49.5% (2x) bet with your full bankroll. Anything else instantly results in a bigger -EV. Strategy or not, the more you roll (i.e., martingale) the closer you are to busting.
3387  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: September 06, 2015, 10:26:59 PM
I found something that seems decent:

You found it ? It is your own post. Their post was in Alt coin section...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1170297.0

Meaning i found something to invest in.

The post are linked in my threads now i didnt even know about those post but thanks for the share.

That business is... yeah, I'd steer clear. Essentially they're valuing their business at infinite, based on how it's run. And then you pay them so that you can get a portion, so not only do they make money from the site itself, they also profit off investors. It's a one-sided business where they win all-around.
3388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: September 06, 2015, 10:18:52 PM
No. I dont think it will outright replace it in fact i dont think theres enough of it to completely replace it 21 million spead between everyone in the world never! unless 0.000001 was worth like a million dollars

No the devs can add more decimals if needed, so that is not a problem. Bitcoin can easily replace fiat, but its time has not come yet.

We need to wait 2-3 more years to see some results big!

It's not about decimals also the fiat mostly is traded in cents and not further. But bitcoin has a good future if nothing against bitcoin happens.

Fiat is always needing a much higher decimal bracket because its inflating.

Bitcoin is deflating so it needs more decimal places eventually. After 1 sat= 1 million $, i doubt you will pay 1 million $ for a bread.

It's hard to believe that 1 sat will be 1 million, you make me to save some satoshi Tongue, but yes it is needed to be more and more decimals but time by time or all in once ?

I think the 8 decimals are ok for the next 10 year, but after that we might need like 16 just to be sure.

Fiat will be worthless soon, so not even 100$ bills will be worth anything when 1 trillion $ bills will be printed.

I think you look so far, like 10 years from now. Like your opinion Smiley i think Fiat recovered itself by e-banking by buying online so the competition with bitcoin will need more and more decades.

Bitcoin will take a lot longer because it relies on people understanding how it is secured. People don't know/care how credit cards or banks are, because they're insured and it doesn't matter. Bitcoin is in a completely different boat.
3389  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Terabox.me scam? on: September 06, 2015, 10:03:31 PM
Hello,

terabox.me is now around a few month/years? Is this a ponzi/scam site? I mean most scam sites like them ran away with the money after a few weeks with the hype but this one is still there.
Do you have experience?
I know i should by a miner hardware by myself. I will do this. But i still dont know how to get them quiet and cool.

Sincerly,

Realchlorum

Cloud mining will NOT ROI. It will NOT. Won't. Never. Isn't going to happen. Basic mathematics will prove this. So quit even looking into it -- scam or not, you've already lost as soon as you send money.
3390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to complete one btc fast? on: September 06, 2015, 10:02:30 PM
sign up for all faucets that are available online and use them.

And after 6 hours of work, you can have your own 5430 satoshis  Cheesy
lol thats a good idea.... you will be getting old before you reach 1BTC ..lol
This guy managed to get 0.99BTC from a faucet!

Faucets used to give 5 BTC+ in a single claim, so you don't have to be dead to have gotten just 20% of that, :p.
3391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: confused regarding Bitcoin payments on: September 06, 2015, 10:01:59 PM
Thank you odolvlobo for your info and reply. Yes blockchain is the hot wallet that I am currently using. So I can expect them to return the balance to my bitcoin address? Thanks again. Smiley

The general idea is that you, as the end user, won't ever realize there's a change address. It happens, but it's not really your concern -- all you really need to know is that you spent x and have y now. So don't let the whole "change address" thing confuse you.
3392  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: September 06, 2015, 08:51:08 PM
At the end of the day, I think the tl;dr is if you find value in investing, do it. If you don't, don't. You wouldn't go to Walmart corporate and complain about their low dividends, or go to (insert other company here) and complain because their stocks don't have as much value as you think they should. You just wouldn't invest.
3393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you feel ashamed for recommending Bitcoin to family & friends? on: September 06, 2015, 07:04:34 PM
I did not recommend using bit coin to my family because they do not know a lot about technology and they won't understand how bitcoin works

I'm the guy people always ask about Bitcoin... but there's so much to cover it's hard. Everyone wants detailed explanations of how it works and is secure, without getting technical. It makes things difficult when it comes to bringing others on board.
3394  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AdBTC - Bitcoin advertising network - free traffic for everyone! on: September 06, 2015, 07:02:13 PM
We want to thank to our new partners for becoming publishers, as now our network unique impressions have doubled in the last week.

Our network pool is still small enough (from tomorrow only 0.0012 btc), so for advertisers we think that we are still by far the cheapest place to advertise (currently almost 20x cheaper than Mellowads and a lot more than the other networks).

Today we also made a few optimisations and improvements, and our website is a lot faster now.

Great to hear! And how do we renew an ad after the 30 days? Are we given a link in email or do we need to actually re-submit it again?
If you have payed even 1 satoshi for your ad, it becomes lifetime. The free ads are given renewal links by e-mail yes.

Ohhh, cool. I wasn't aware there was a way to lock them in lifetime, Smiley. I'll probably do that soon. Thanks!
3395  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Betterbets.io - Invest in multiple Casinos and apps at once through Moneypot.com on: September 06, 2015, 07:01:16 PM
Thank you to all our current investors and to those who decide to invest in the future as well. We now have a current max payout of 4.17 BTC per bet!

One of our Bitcoin brothers NLNico, a respected forum member, has put together a very nice Moneypot statistical overview on his site. I feel this is superior to this thread and could be used as a means to track your investment and how all casinos and apps are doing as well. Best wishes to all of you, (both players and investors) as Moneypot and BetterBets.io climb their way into Bitcoin gambling history and continues to provide entertainment for everyone.

Please use this site for detailed stats: http://dicesites.com/moneypot

+1! I'm wondering if it's possible to add like a yearly ROI to it as well (if a site's been out for a month and is up 1%, that'd be a 12% yearly ROI). That would help understand the direction of the sites on a more long-term basis (extrapolated, of course) in relation to other investments.
3396  Economy / Securities / Re: Gelfman Blueprint: 7-11% Monthly Return on Your Bitcoin on: September 06, 2015, 06:52:34 PM
Whenever I see people pitching trading bots I can only think... If it actually worked, you wouldn't need my money.

It depends more on return than anything. Would you say the same to the proven hedge fund managers? "I get that you've got a net worth of hundreds of millions but if you truly made money you wouldn't need mine?" That's asinine.

Walmart is a profitable company and even THEY borrow (as do PayPal, eBay, and tens of thousands of other profitable companies).

Come beat up the house and take your BTC like a pro player, while doing this you are also earning huge rake each Sunday and raffle tickets for the monthly raffle prizes.
Congratulations Sheytans, as you climb your way to 10+ BTC Hall of Fame!!!! @ https://betterbets.io

This player is very lucky, I checked his bet at the high rollers tab and I cant believe that he keep winning that huge bet and even win a bet at 1 btc. If he keep continue to have this luck then he can easily reach 20 btc perhaps. Also is that the eye thing is not auto updated? I need to refresh to get the new player that bet to spy
the spyglass does not auto update. You must refresh to see new users that have logged in

Spyglass auto-updates every minute. If you want smaller update times, you need to reload the page.

Oh really? because mine is not auto udating every minutes. I get the same name of the roller as the first time I get into the site . Is this because of the browser? I use firefox to login, havent try with chrome because I dont have chrome. Can you make an enchancement for the eye thing to spy on every bet that is over 10k satoshi for example? so it will discard all bet lower than that

On Chrome it doesn't auto update for me. I have to manually refresh the page. It's so weird when I go away for a while, then see someone winning big and look at the eye to not find their name (and realize I have to refresh the page again).
3399  Economy / Gambling / Re: ToTheMoon.me | Invest into the Bankroll of Social gambling site on: September 05, 2015, 08:49:40 PM
Indeed, but if your expected "bust-time" is 2 weeks of constant playing, and you have a streak of good luck, you could increase that time until bust for months!

I ran multiple scenarios and all busted, lol. Even going as far as analyzing results of thousands of busts for information, but ran into a big losing streak (with a very low probability) that had never occurred before. That said, it was enough to quit trying to beat the system (after building up to 5x the original amount), :p.

If one truly believes in the mathematics behind the game, then you know you can't longterm beat it. If you find an exploit though, you can milk the bank until infinitum Wink

The interesting thing about gambling is that the variance is huuuuge, so if you play normally or risky, you can either lose very fast or win very big. Thats what I personally like about it.

I've been able to mathematically exploit a lot of sites to lower the house edge, but house edge, despite being smaller, still always wins long-term, Smiley. It's a big reason why I invest in the sites and just play smaller amounts (i.e., with TTM I started with 10 mBTC, built to 18, cashed out the original 10 and played the rest until I busted almost a week later).
