Shit.

Was it abused or reported when someone found it?

Where were you getting info from? I was actually out all day and saw his post while I was out so past that, I'm in the dark.

Poor horse.

FWIW SwC has run smoothly for me the last 9 months.

+1 from me as well. I've yet to personally have an issue with it. I believe most of the issues people have are with Win 10, and that just seems to be screwing everyone (it's the most complained about thing in the gaming world, dev. world, etc. right now, so it's not just SWC, Bitcoin, or even poker).

That said, I liked being able to play on my phone. I'm mobile a lot.
2443  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 03, 2015, 04:42:13 AM
That last line contradicts itself. Are the small bets not much but noise, or would the investors be far worse off without them?

Or does it? I like to think of the small bets like the gentle sound that a fan makes when helping you go to sleep, while getting interrupted by the gang war outside (the big bets).

But being serious, "noise" was probably the wrong word to use. I just meant that the small bets are greatly inflating the total-bet count, which makes the win look a lot less likely than it actually is, all the while actually benefiting investor.

Yeah, you worded that badly. When I read it I was like "how could these small bets be bad for investors?" The important thing for everyone to remember is that the more bets there are, the closer you'll get to the expected profit. 100 bets could swing either way, but 100 million would be a better representation. In this case, some bets just happened to be lucky over a small set. And looking at profit now, it looks like he lost a lot (or someone did).

Does this not set off any red flags?

All accounts made 2 days ago...
Im usually not paranoid about this kinda stuff...seems worth pointing out though.

Yeah, although I'd argue all winners tend to look suspicious. (I've lost my fair share of sleep investigating stuff). I've been looking at the accounts and history, and have no reason to suspect any foul play. Also it's worth pointing out, at once time I saw one of the accounts sitting at -5 BTC in net profit, just he aggressively won it back. Loss-chasers tends to have very consistent returns, until they don't.

Yeah, and his total rolls aren't too high. I used a strategy that was still in profit after 2m+ rolls before it finally busted (it was up ~8x the starting bankroll at that time).
2446  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |Secure & Trusted|Weekly Rake+VIP|DICE★PLINKO★HORSE RACING on: November 02, 2015, 09:00:11 PM
Can one person win more than one raffle? In things like this, I think players may exploit it if not, creating multiple accounts (the same chance to win ONE is the same, but it would also open the doors for winning multiple).
2447  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in a soon to be large-scale MMORPG with a soon Publishing Contract! on: November 02, 2015, 08:54:48 PM
Sounds suspect, lots of impressive claims and boasts but not anything of substance. You've got a closed alpha? At least post some links or invite PMs from interested people - and just so you know, I'm not interested, I'm skeptical. This just sounds like a black-hat scam packaged for rich geeks.

I'm not rich or stupid, so I'm oot.

Nobody would invest in this (hopefully) without proof regardless. I'd personally require a signed, notarized contract, full due diligence, market reports, etc. before I got involved.

When I am using online services to hash those hashes I found out that there is capital and small letter hashes. Since I used small caps in the example on the homepage of the site, I will also use small caps to determine the winner.

Here is two sites I found that output small caps MD5 hashes, http://www.md5.cz/ and http://www.miraclesalad.com/webtools/md5.php.

Congrats to the five winners and please spread your referal link around for more chances to win. Thank all of you for participating in round #1.

So over 1.2 million bets and not a single losing streak?  I'd love for someone to do the math

It doesn't say there's no losing streak, just that the profit was bigger than the losses. There are many ways to make this happen, though I would think that timing it properly would be almost impossible.
2450  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: November 02, 2015, 08:47:23 PM
Didn't the old software work really well? I'm pretty sure I had played using my phone back in the day as well...

That was my point entirely.  The old seals had specific clients for Android, GNU/Linux, OSX, Windows, and anything which could use a flash player.  The new SWC has working software for ... it seems like 0 platforms, given the complaints I keep seeing about the Windoze client they've built.  I just can't fathom why they don't go ahead and boot up poker mavens and get their player base back before we're all gone.

I personally hate the look of Poker Mavens (it just looks cheap) but using it as the backend and just having a client that looks better relaying the info is good to me.
2451  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: November 02, 2015, 08:46:20 PM
I want to add in that a lot of people there can see if you're a leech and won't share as a result. The community relies on having people take part, not just hanging around hoping for freebies.

This is absolutely true.  I didn't mean to encourage leeching at all.  I just wanted to let Corealz know that it's free to log in and check things out.  And, when you're a completely new, someone will probably give you a mineral water so you can have a few ksat to play with.
Yeah some people are really generous there, me for example when I joined one guy became my mentor and went as far as to gift me 0.01 BTC (10BTMs) to get familiar with the game. Forgot my account credentials since then and haven't talked to him yet.

People were a lot more giving before, doing cigars and drinks all the time. And then a few people had to ruin it for the masses by starting to log in 3+ accounts at a time just to get the freebies. Now most things are done privately and only around close friends.
2452  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 12:16:25 AM
Faucets are waste of time since 2014. If you don't experiment first faucet which gives 5BTC per claim you couldn't know how it feels. Smiley
Now the biggest faucet gives only dust, I pay more fee than that claims in a single transaction.

Late 2012 to early 2013 was the last time I know faucets give 1 - 5 bitcoins max. That was when the prices are below $30 I think, and the idea of faucets aren't that very known yet unlike today.

uh 1 btc is really good even if the price was only 30, this is far better than what we have today, i think 1-5 btc was too much, maybe you're confused

could be more true if it was in 2010 or so, but i doubt there were faucets back then, maybe i'm wrong..

It's pretty insane. 1 BTC to 5 BTC from a faucet? How much time would you require back then to get that 1 BTC? I just don't believe you would get 1 BTC every day back then on a daily basis from every single faucet because the price was already high enough for this to not be viable. 30 dollars for doing nothing? I don't get it.

Yes, something is wrong here. Who the hell would give you $30 in one hit? That's way too much. People would abuse the crap out of faucets like this, even though there wasn't too many bitcoin users at the time.

I mean 10 people would be enough to abuse a faucet like this. Even $3 is too much when you really think of it.

There were some that gave 10 BTC+. People here in the forums used to tip people full BTCs just for fun, too. But that was when BTC had little value and no real utility yet.

hello all and especially the Moneypot Investors

we are opening our 3rd moneypot game app and offering a pre-opening " No Chance to lose Contest"
yes you can only win and you can't lose even one Satoshi.

we thought that it would be nice if some Investors would also participate and if you like it you could advertise our app and if you don't like it you don't need to advertise it.

just for info it is not a bug finder contest. it is for fun and introducing the new game app and it was very difficult for us to put the contest rules on paper.

the game app will be opened only after the contest ends. all participants will get shortly before the start the login credentials. the contest will start with a minimum of 10 registered user

Interesting game/contest! How does the house edge work with this? Also, there's a typo: you say players must deposit 5k bits, but at the end you also say you need 10k bits.

hello

thank you for the question and posting.

HE is rake of 1%

I would appreciate it if you could point me to the typo so I can correct it. the initial deposit for the contest is 5k bits and in case the user will lose it he will get full refund.
the other 5k bits (and yes together it is 10k bits) are used as a guarantee that the user who registered for the contest will participate.
as soon as 10 users registered we will pm all and ask to deposit 5k bits with JackpotRacer or any other trusted member if the users insist on it.
after we get 5k bits from the 10 registered user we are sure that we have 10 real contestants. now they need to deposit another 5k bits to start wagering. after they started wagering we will send to all the 5k bits guarantee back.

we don't want that 10 user will register and we open the contest and then we will have only 5 or 6 real wagering participants. I hope you understand my point.

we want to be sure that the contest we will have minimum 10 true participants and not some fake
registrations.

if I did express it the wrong way in thread I will correct.

Ahhh, I get it now. So the first 5k is like a placeholder fee that's returned.
2454  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Ads-Banner | Free 0.001 BTC Everyday | Banner Advertisement | Highest CTR on: October 31, 2015, 09:21:35 PM
You can earn by clicking banners on Earn Credits page, and you will get 20 credits for each of them. You can convert your 20.000 credits to 0.10$ later on. But the real earning in on contest page. By being the top 5 clicker everyday, you can earn real cash daily from contest. for now, 0.75$ is distributed among top 5 clickers daily, but the reward amount in increasing gradually, we began with 0.50$ daily. Hope you enjoy it.

(there is small maintenance with earn credits page, you cannot click banners now, check back later.)

Just submitted my first ad! We'll see how it goes, Smiley
2455  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: In 2015, faucets are bad for bitcoin on: October 31, 2015, 08:58:24 PM
I started a faucet basically for girls to send nudies  Tongue /r/NakedBitcoins
Not all faucets are bad.

That's not a faucet, it's just a forum area for people to post in, Smiley.

Its a faucet in that it tips per picture. All a faucet is sending tips to people.  Grin

Bitcoins are 'pooled' and distributed as the posts come in. No different then any faucet out there giving bits of Bitcoin.

Ahhh, didn't realize it pays. All I saw were a lot of images. How does it work?

Indeed man! Its because I am investing what I can only afford to lose.

I am completely aware that a ponzi is a scam but I want to grab the opportunity while they are still paying investors, but that comes with a risk, still its worth the risk if ever I successfully made profit with a certain ponzi, and if I lose, its still fine cuz , like I said before, I only invested what I afford to lose Wink

Whenever I saw a newly launched ponzi (that looks decent) , I always say to myself that " it's now or never" Cheesy

Here you point exactly on the difference with winspiral's systems...
with winspiral's system you can say to yourself:
"It's now or later"
Why for the simple reason that it is the opposite of a ponzi...

with my 2 investment site (you call ponzi)
with the first one you are sure to get you principal back if you invest now or later.(only the profit rate will certainly be different)
with the second one it is a little different...(so so it does not exist the same on the net)(lol)
How does it work?(sorry if you see a ponzi in it...if so you are paranoick.
you invest.
3 solutions:
1)...you get your principal back in a short time then you make profit for a short time.
2)...you get your principal back after one year or so...then you make profit after one year or so.
3)...you get your principal back NEVER...then you make profit EVER.

Where is in this both systems the smallest similitude with a ponzi?

You are terrible seeing every where ponzis and scammers...

On that note, loan me $1000. I'll pay back $1 a year. You will get profit for the rest of your life! Smiley
2457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get free bitcoin? on: October 31, 2015, 08:55:43 PM
Invite friends on Coinbase, you get $5 for inviting 5 people, and $20 for inviting 20.
I'm not sure if the offer is still on.

I never got a notice about that. Just the $10 per user that buys $100 or whatever it is.
