Hi guys can someone tell me how much a 7950 OC Vapor-X hash in quark and x11 wolf's version.
Thx in advance
clock for clock, that will be 7/8 of 7970/280X.

I think it will be over $1,000 within two years.

|
|
It could touch $280 in the next two weeks. However, it does not matter for the long term price.

|
See you guys at $270. Anyone concur?
no way it'll be $270! come on guys, $250 is our roof Why are people arguing about $250 or $270. That is very small difference compared to future price.

Because maybe people are bored of taking 10 USD profits per coin. The halving is next summer, if you buy BTC at 250 USD why do you want to sell on a mini pump to 260-265? The price will probably go to at least 400-450 next summer because of the halving & that's not even allowing for Gemini opening, ETF regulation etc.
My advice is to HODL your BTC for at least 2-3 years, see where the price goes. I really doubt it's going to go down much if at all. BTC is gaining more exposure, more positive media coverage. I wouldn't sell 1 satoshi at this price, I'm dreaming of way bigger. There will be no huge dump now, not from this price.
Bitcoin is more popular than ever, it will be used eventually. So the price will react accordingly.

Next time, bitcoin will crash from $26,000 to $7,000.

As soon as we have half as many bitcoin ATMs as Fiat ATMs banks will be obsolete.
There will be bitcoin banks then.

If some one wants to donate a few CYP to me I don't mind throwing a node up Do you think CYP is worth anything?
|
|

I dont think it will b down such level its currently above 300$ level
I thought it is around $255 now.

Give it a little more time. A month is very optimistic for what we just get out of...
Yes. 12-18 month could be a good guess.

Just got the modded qubit and tahiti-bin kernal(russian?) to work on the hawaii chipset.(390x etc)
with -X 512:
On the 290:
quark: 13.45 MHASH qubit: 13.12 MHASH
So the speed is not faster than 280X?

This makes sense. Picking the right coins (that will fill a market need and survive) is infinitely more important than finding the right entry point. 99.9% of alt coins will eventually fail (I believe that) but those that succeed with eventually assume an appropriate money supply for the market they serve.
This is the reason why I care much more about development and innovation than price.
The chance of Monero failing is actually pretty high (this is not meant to be an insult). I still really like it because the potential reward if it does succeed is so incredible. Cryptonote is the best tech that exists today. Of the cryptonote coins with a fair emission schedule, Monero is the leader in terms of community involvement and development of supporting services.
Monero is THE altcoin other than bitcoin.

Bitcoin can add another PoW algorithm which is difficult to implement in ASIC and can be mined by most people but not botnet. This will help solve the cetralisation problem.
PoW algo isn't going to change anytime soon. Regardless, your post doesn't make sense. The whole point of a botnet is taking over PCs, not ASICS. The algorithm has to be GPU friendly, not CPU friendly to discourage botnet.

The Greek banks will close tomorrow and there will be capital controls.

Hows your speed with quark and qubit with 280x get 13 Mhs is thats good enough
It is good.

stop waiting for bitcoin to take off. these times are over. be happy with a slower but stable year on year growth instead of a temporarily peak. we're done with that.
I like the slow rise, which will happen after more adoption.

What's the scheduel now? I still remember their deadline of 'early december 2014'. So much for that... after pocketing how much? 50k btc?
They are going to evaluate the codes in July, and decide afterwards.

I think calling for vote is a cheap and bad way to throw off responsibility for the situation to come. Almost every time people will vote against changes that will force them to lower their living standards. So Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras is making an easy way out of this for himself, if people vote against and Greece will fall he will say "it's not my fault", if Greeks vote for and it will cause some sort of unrest he will say "you voted for those conditions so now don't complain"
Ya, he is not taking his responsibility.

You need fast memory directly connected to the cores, not the DDR5 memory.
