341  Economy / Auctions / Re: [auction] 6 x Avalon 25+ modules - ready to ship on: July 15, 2013, 12:57:59 PM
Only avalon users would buy this, or at least someone that had done a little research and know you this needs the controller in order to hash.
The topic title has one mistake, should be >25ghash modules, not a problem if you know the machine.

Lets review the posts one by one:

Mr Transisto really dont know what he sees in the picture, If he knew he would be aware that one regular avalon has 3 modules and one open slot, only one avalon user could buy this. How can you buy something you dont even know how it works? Is it my fault here? Did I forced you to click in this link? How am I wasting your time?

Mr Web Slicer and psjw4450r, last2stand, all bidded below the start price.

Ubachef did not really read the OP. See register date.

Squall and rammy2k2 invalidated their bids when they realized its just modules not board or anything else, as its written in title and description.

macpoker79 has the closest to a valid bid but is another one that did not read the OP and "freaked", I can still send the module to you but will not risk escrow or anything with you because frankly speaking the sockpuppet alert here is too high.

342  Economy / Auctions / Re: [auction] 6 x Avalon 25+ modules - ready to ship on: July 15, 2013, 12:24:29 PM
no winners. thank you all I just asked the refund.

Funny. You have valid bids but no winners... You should get negative trusts from all bidders.

Can you show me the valid bids?
343  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon Asic] trade-in Thread on: July 15, 2013, 08:51:46 AM
Well, for me it's obvious, that they'll ship a 4-modular asic..
I don't even understand, how you can be thinking about something else...

It doesn't make sense, to send 3 modular units, even for avalon.

The price point is pretty easy.

1200$(3 modular unit)+1 module 400$+ no psu+delivery... And minus your trade in= 1600$

Tadam)) Wink

Yeah, good math, one gold rated PSU is more expensive than one module. So I also vote for no PSU and 4 modules.
Cmon I wanna be surprised again with no tracking number and another avalon by my door Cheesy
344  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 6 x Avalon modules 25+ Ghash on: July 15, 2013, 08:49:30 AM
Free bump....why does that case/modules look so beaten and dusty already?

Each avalons is performing at >80ghash and you say its beaten? Smiley

I live in Beijing one of the most polluted cities in the world. I bet my lungs are also dusty.

Guys, guys, there are no shortcuts. As a student of DE, I need to leave this here and If you have a problem with simple tasks you should take a look. If not, watch as well, its quite entertaining.

It's a really hot summer here and I'm willing to let this part and wait for batch3, as the temperature cools down next month I also get rid of the noise.
I have less than one day to decide for a refund so I will make this a quick auction.

All six modules are from  Batch #2 Avalon ASIC miners.

  • Escrow is fine but you pay the fees
  • Important: Only bid if you registered in this forum before may
  • Only bid if you wanna get the equipment
  • Bids extend the auction by 30 minutes
  • Winners pay within 24 hours too.
  • Shipment is included price, unit leaves Beijing immediately after payment, DHL or EMS, you choose.
Auction starts at 30BTC
Increments of 1 BTC

"I reserve the right to sell to a private bidder, though I encourage all participants to post their bids publicly."

I also sent payment to the address listed for my order in the store.  I updated the support ticket I have open with the transaction info, I figure that's the best place to keep things documented.

I opened a support ticket too. It seemed like a good idea. At the very least they will have a "formal" notification of the problem that we are all experiencing.

If I had to guess I'd say that payments are confirmed manually and they just did not get around to it.

We all sent our hardware to Avalon as demanded on 16. April. Most of us dont have a real contact with the Avalon Team till today. In that package there was our contact data as demanded in the Newsletter.

On 16. April i asked myself, what is so hard to get a list from ngzhang and contact us personaly, but ok probably they ask for proof, so i sended the requested contact data letter with the hardware. I would like to understand what for we had to send it for, since we have no contact till today? I had a order listed and on hold in the Avalon store, but it was deleted a month ago  and every tickets is unanswered since then (30 Days now).

Mr Chen holds a reliable and organized list of everyone that sent machines to him.

357  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon orders - batch #3 refund requests thread on: July 13, 2013, 06:23:13 PM
If I were you I'd submit the google form now at least, I don't think they are going to answer your ticket that quickly. At least fill whatever you can out and submit it.

Where did that google form come from..  Huh

359  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon orders - batch #3 refund requests thread on: July 13, 2013, 06:27:54 AM
Hey Guys,

I am contemplating the refund.

It is looking for a number of fields:
1) Email... easy
2) Order Id... Assuming he means Order number on our invoice... easy
3) Bitpay url --- I don't have that but I have the txn ID from the transactions pane of the Bitcoin-Qt client
4) Refund Address --- where that heck can I find that?  I assume this is a bitcoin address. Is it in the Bitcoin-Qt client?

Looking for help with number 4 (in case I pull the trigger tomorrow).

3 open a support ticket with bitpay provide the TX and ask for the invoice/url
4 they need one address to refund you, here is where you want your BTC if you do not control the address/change adress you paid from
