341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 23, 2024, 02:59:00 PM
The only downside in this game is that Klay Thompson continue to struggle with his shooting, just scoring 3 points in 28 minutes.

Yep, it was indeed a disappointing performance by Thompson. Nevertheless, let me remind you that he scored 35 points in the previous game against the Jazz. So, I think he's not as bad as it may seem at first glance, although his role on the team has really become less important compared to what it used to be.

He might score 35 points but struggle in his next game; it's not what the Warriors are looking for. They want to get the same Klay Thompson who can back up Curry every time their main star player will struggle. It's true that his role is becoming less important, and that might affect his next contract with the team since he was expecting a good salary, but with his current contribution, for sure, the management would not be able to give that. He still has the remaining of the season to prove himself, especially in the playoffs; the Game 6 Klay should come alive so he can keep his value.
342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: February 22, 2024, 11:53:26 PM
NEWBIES, you should be concious of the fact that perhaps ALL of the the advice posted in the topic might be coming from people who don't belong to the top 10% of traders who actually make consistent profit from "trading".

Be careful of those advice, because most of them WON'T make you more profitable against the top traders, and their army of bots. Merely choose a good asset that will continue to exist for decades, then buy and HODL. Buy the DIP, DCA, or another accumulation strategy, just do where you are comfortable.
This is where newbies fall on these kind of traps. They’ve given their high trust on other traders in the forum and tend to follow everything they say without actually knowing that real  professionals don’t resort on giving advices, but they tend to challenge first those newbies and see how far they are determined to reach their trading goals. That’s okay to lose in trading as long as they don’t end up quitting, otherwise they will not recover their losses and will be deprived from getting profits in trading.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Struggle now to invest in Bitcoin for a bright future. on: February 22, 2024, 09:57:47 PM
Investing in Bitcoin secures a bright future within the current economic landscape through strategic moves.  Although your journey may be difficult and challenging, at times the rewards will outweigh the struggles.  Bitcoin proven resilience and potential make it more attractive to investors.  Embracing the struggle to invest opens up a promising future filled with opportunities for wealth accumulation and financial freedom.
Whatever you said is true, however, not everyone can have the privilege to invest in Bitcoin frequently or even once. Most people these days don't earn enough so they can cover the monthly expenses of their household, have some savings, and then be able to invest in Bitcoin, and I don't think one can cut down their monthly expenses so that they can have more money to spare so that they can invest in Bitcoin, and if one can do that, it can undoubtedly be beneficial for them in the future.

If one says that they shouldn't have savings and invest that money in Bitcoin, I wouldn't agree. Your savings are for personal uses and mostly for emergencies because you can't sell your Bitcoins when you face an emergency, especially if by that time Bitcoin is down and your investment is at a loss.
Savings for investment and savings for emergency funds should be separated, and make sure that if you save for investment, you will only risk an amount that you can afford to lose. But I have to agree that if you want to prioritize bitcoin investment, stop putting your money on unnecessary expenses. Sacrifice your luxury for the mean time. However, if it means compromising your budget for daily needs just to realize bitcoin investment, then I must say that you are doing the wrong thing already.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it all about money? on: February 22, 2024, 08:55:36 PM
I caught something different from your aims and objectives in creating this topic. Even if you fail to pass the final exam, you can still become an entrepreneur with all the experience you have as a private employee. If your soul is more inclined to be an entrepreneur than an employee, you must have various experiences and connections to expand your business.

In raising money, you have to rely on knowledge in a certain field, of course you will go through various processes before setting foot on the path to success. Becoming rich doesn't mean you have to have higher education, experience and courage can change your life if you can do good marketing on the goods you sell.
Having quality and proper education do not guarantee success in life, as you can be educated in your own way. However, if you don’t have good mentors that will guide you in the process, you can’t assure that you will still be successful in the end. Even if you’ll chase every experience opportunity that comes, learning will be more successful if there is one person that can guide you and lead you in your chosen career.

While becoming rich does not need to be a bachelor’s degree holder, but we all know that those who have finished their studies have bigger and better opportunities than those who have not gained proper education. However, strategies and skills matter mostly in the end to achieve your life’s success.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 22, 2024, 07:52:07 PM
Comparing on Takuma which having that 18 fights overall plus having that 22% KO rate then i dont see this one would really be that hard for Ancajas, but since this fight would be done in Japan,
then lets hope that there would really be those biased point system by its judges. Well, the fans or masses wont really be blind on whose the real winner.
The fans could be bias but the judges shouldn't.  However, if Ancajas really have that power to KO an opponent, he should go for a KO here for him to secure a victory without any controversy. It's a big fight that requires preparation, and I'm sure he's pretty much ready to bring his A game.

I have a feeling that if this goes to the judges scorecards, it will be the defending champion who will win, so he should not let that happen. Finish the fight before 12 rounds, and enjoy being the new champion, that's the kind of scenario I like to witness.
I have heard out some comments too about those non right decisions bade by referees in Japan such as this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWtwl-iF8co

Watching out the video, i did actually laugh and said to myself on what the fuck did just happen?
Blocking all the punches on guarding and the referee call its over. lol
I cant blame them on why they had such doubt.

LOL. That was unacceptable; clearly, the boxer that was punched in the gloves is not even tired. He was just laughing at the decision of the refs as he knows himself that he was cheated. However, since this fight (Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue), I think they'll not make an obvious cheating as the world is watching, and their reputation will look bad if it would prove no one could really win in Japan unless you are Japanese.

There's nothing we can do here but to trust the judges and hope they'll make a non-biased decision. Complaints can be done, but it will take time to be decided by the body, and the fans might just forget that. All we want to see is the real winner of the fight to be declared after the actual fight. Anyway, have you guys already put your bet for this fight?
346  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: February 22, 2024, 07:25:19 PM
A new casino was added guys! BitStarz offers exclusively 30 Free Spins just on sign up Smiley
Bitstarz has a bad reputation in this forum, didn't you notice it? Check this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265
What is the reason why you decided to add them on your list, they are even a casino that will ask their customer to do KYC most of the time especially when users take a bonus.
Do you care about the reputation of the casino or you ignore it as long as you can get benefit by adding the casino into your list?

Maybe they are not doing any research on scam accusation section that's why they include that scam casino on their list. Or maybe they just really don't care about its reputation and just try to get money out of referral or payment coming from casino itself.

If they research the bitstarz keyword on scam accusation board there's a lot of threads posted against this casino that's why its crazy that they didn't know that those accusation exist.  For doing that they lose their credibility since they failed to define what is scam casino and what are those legit also best to add on the list.

The scam accusation was 4 years ago; hopefully, a lot of things have already changed for this casino. But there's a valid reason to call them scammers since their response or action does not solve the problem that was raised with valid evidence. Of course, DT members would not support that flag created against them if the evidence isn't valid enough.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin, for long time Holding on: February 22, 2024, 12:35:36 PM
Now another big opportunity is going to come in front of us. When the price of Bitcoin will increase much more than that. So I would say, those who haven't invested in Bitcoin yet, make a final decision to invest in Bitcoin for lone time Holding now and hold until the next ATH. You invest in Bitcoin and keep your Bitcoin holdings safe, because the next bull market is going to have the power to change your life. So just Hold bitcoin for long time.
Are you a God who know everything in the future? how you can be completely sure if Bitcoin will make new ATH and change someone life?

I hope people are not blindly trusting someone else predictions instead try to learn what's Bitcoin, why you want to buy Bitcoin and know the limit of risk of investing in Bitcoin.

If not, they will use all of their savings, sell their property or assets, or taking out a loan in order to invest in Bitcoin because they believe Bitcoin will change their lives!
What OP’s predictions and concepts might be different from ours, but one thing is certain, bitcoin investment offers the huge benefits when you hold it for long term. However, investing in bitcoin without prior research and studies and instead follow what majority are saying is an act of laziness and irresponsibility. You will never gain your goal in your bitcoin investment if you don’t know what you are doing in the first place and you only rely your decision making from other investors. Yes, bitcoin is risky but it can also be worth of our money, time and efforts if you deal with it the right way.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I succeed as a trader in 2024 on: February 21, 2024, 11:51:52 PM
It is not entirely clear what is the main goal for the author of the topic. Make money on cryptocurrencies or make money through trading. As you know, trading is a high-risk activity associated with the possibility of losing money. I don't think it's a good idea for someone new to trading to invest a lot of capital into trading right away. It is best to first gain experience and trade small amounts. At the very beginning, by the way, scalping helps a lot. Scalping helps to intensify the experience, so to speak. In other words, you will become proficient much faster than on other time frames. If your goal is not to make money through trading, but simply to make money, then I would draw your attention to hodl or retrodrops.
While trading can be more profitable than simply investing and long term hodling, but the risk to lose is high as well. So I won’t recommend for someone new to trading to focus on trading alone, you could have just invest a small amount at first and continue doing DCA for long term hodling. When you have gained some profits, now it’s a good idea to explore the field of trading and take some risk through trading at small funds. I guess losing will not be an issue if you only trade on the amount you can afford to lose, but if you consistently lose your funds, that’s another story already. Try to learn from other traders as well before you finally trade on your own.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: February 21, 2024, 12:55:54 PM
Never had this opportunity to win with my last cash, but the very opportunity I could have had, I missed, it happened that I wrote down a game on the paper to bet but because the money I had was the only cash left in my pocket I didn't place that bet, but later I noticed that the whole games I predicted were in the money, and it was really annoying scenario.

Most of us probably lose patience with our last cash; that's why we become too aggressive. This happens to most of us when we are chasing our losses. For example, suppose you have $1000 for a gambling session. When you are down to your last $100, you won't feel inspired because you need to win ten times your $100 to get back to your bankroll level. That's why it's really important to have discipline in gambling to prevent this from happening.

A losing streak is inevitable, so we should learn how to manage ourselves when that time comes. Otherwise, we will experience losses most of the time. When we are down significantly, we already consider that it's just a matter of time until we lose our entire bankroll. We lose the patience and confidence to come back and be at a profitable level.
350  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 21, 2024, 11:56:34 AM
Just another hacking incident that didn't cause panic among people. The last similar incident I recall was the Binance hack where no users were affected. I hope all casinos have this kind of assurance that whatever happens to the site will not impact the funds of its users. Unfortunately, only a few have very liquid operations; some may even use the hack as an excuse to steal funds from users. However, Duelbits has proven they are here to stay no matter what.

I will not be surprised that Duelbits doesn’t bother by this hack situation on their site since they are spending huge amount of money even bigger to hack amount for funding the signature campaign here in the forum. Duelbits is known for being professional on handling all issue with their operations including the cases here in the forum.

I believe only Duelbits and Stake are the only popular casino nowadays that experience big time hack but never affects their operations because of their good approach on dealing with the situation. Kudos to Duelbits management!

Yeah, and Stake as well. Now, Duelbits has reached the level of Stake. Stake became popular in the forum and even outside it. With this unfortunate news, which turned out to be a good thing for them, they were proven that they know how to handle the business in tough situations. So, no gambling site is really safe from hacking, but with the right risk management, continuity in the business is guaranteed, just like what they have demonstrated.
351  Economy / Speculation / Re: A new ATH before halving. Is it possible? on: February 18, 2024, 08:48:23 PM
I'm always thinking of what if the next bull run cycle will be entirely different. I don't know how it is going to be different and unique but the possibility is there.

Estimated two months to go for the halving to come. Still a lot of things can happen and the same goes to post halving which OP said that likely after a year will make its ATH.

Although the uncertain part here is about when the ATH will be reached but with certainty, it is for sure going to make new round of ATH.
There’s always a possibility that history won’t repeat itself anymore and create a unique one, as everything is possible with a volatile market. However, just like we are expecting for bitcoin price to move upward consistently, there’s also high chances that it will suddenly undergo a roller coaster price movement and there’s no control with that.

In short, no one really holds what will be the future of bitcoin, but whatever it is, one thing will always be certain, it’s new ATH will come in time, we just have to be patiently waiting for it.
352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What significant impact is expected of new members of the forum? on: February 18, 2024, 07:20:22 PM
As a newbie, you need to be yourself and don't try to be like someone else, if you have any knowledge that you learn outside the forum and you know that it is of value, you can bring it here so that other people can learn from it.

You can also look at what you can assist the forum with and contribute to the forum. Read more and make show that any information you hear is right by doing your own research before going into conclusions.
There’s no need to act like your someone who’s knowledgeable in almost every topic in the forum. The forum will understand that every newbie that comes is hungry of the knowledge. That is the most important, showing that you are indeed interested and capable to learn, and not pretend that you already know everything and easily jump into conclusions.

The forum is not asking high expectations from newbies. So it’s okay to be less knowledgeable and less experienced in the start, because eventually when you have acquired almost everything in the forum, you will turn into a professional and well conversed member in the forum that will continue to uplift every newbies in the forum.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 18, 2024, 02:45:10 PM
Can you post your Bitcoin address?

I can also say I bought Bitcoin when the price was $1 and hold it until now, I bought Bitcoin when the price was $3K during Covid-19 and sold at $69K etc.
Op does not have to post their BTC address if they don't want to, it is bad for privacy, especially when the address holds a large amount of coins in it. I understand you feel that the story is made up, and you may be correct, i have also called out a lot of members for posting fake and made up stories of how they bough x amount of BTC and made y profits, but they don't have to lose their privacy to prove their story, that is if there is a 1% chance that the story is true.
Regardless if this story is made up or not, still OP is not obliged to post his BTC address just for authenticity. Note that we all encouraged everyone most particularly newbies to protect our privacy especially when it concerns our bitcoin storage. But here we are trying to break that rule.

Now, even myself I can't tell exactly if OP is telling the truth or not. But if he's actually lying, I guess he won't benefit from it either. If this post is only for merit phishing, then OP lacks some factors to make his post meritable.
354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 18, 2024, 11:54:36 AM
But what good thing there Duelbits assured that there's no funds from costumer has been compromised and they make sure that they are fine so for sure gamblers now can get back on what they are doing. If this case happen to other casino then provably we can see them hurt so bad by the incident happened. Also if many users didn't notice it and they just know this news when duelbits post a information regarding on what happen it means that they are truly safe and Duelbits management are so transparent regarding on unfortunate event happen to them.
Just another hacking incident that didn't cause panic among people. The last similar incident I recall was the Binance hack where no users were affected. I hope all casinos have this kind of assurance that whatever happens to the site will not impact the funds of its users. 355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 18, 2024, 10:33:17 AM
All we know is that the owner of the stake.com casino is already known and exposed by several media because he is famous for the progress of his casino but for other casinos I have never seen that process.

There is a reason behind all that why the identity of the casino owner does not carry out the process publicly, but to get a casino license will not the owner give it? Here we understand that the authority has pocketed their KYC proof after registering the casino for licensing.
When a casino applies for a license, they have to submit all the necessary requirements. This includes the names of the casino owners, their officers, and all other vital information for the operation. I'm not sure about the specific requirements that a license provider demands, but all the information I mentioned is typically considered basic and necessary for the approval process.

But it also makes sense that even if the identity of their team is not known to their customers, they still run a good casino? Even if they are having problems, it is the authorities who can reveal this and we will never know what is behind it all.
It might not be known to them, but when the authorities do find out, they can request information from the license providers to check if this casino has any complaints to address. Therefore, it's not a problem if their names are not known as long as their casino maintains a good reputation.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 18, 2024, 08:54:43 AM
I'm wondering why Curry wasn't included, he could have easily beat them all.
Probably because he already had a battle against Sabrina Ionescu. It was a competitive match, but Curry ended up winning since he scored 29, while Sabrina Ionescu only had 26. In fact, if we sum all the scores in the 3-point competition, Curry would have won, as he is still at the top. Unfortunately, it was a different competition Curry had joined, but it has proven that he is still the best shooter in the NBA during the All-Star event.

As per what I read, here are the participants' top scores during the competition:

Curry: 29
Sabrina Ionescu: 26
KAT (Karl-Anthony Towns): 26
Lillard (The winner): 26
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 17, 2024, 09:59:07 PM
From the look out of things there is no doubt that $60k is sure before the end of this month February reason being that bitcoin has surpasses the price of 50k and headed to $52k if I am not mistakenly and you can correct me if I am wrong.
Also does this proves the idea of most people saying that bitcoin could hit half a million dollars after the halving by 2025, does this sign proves it right?

Let us discuss.

I guess everything is possible now, I mean when we thought that we will not even hit $50k, suddenly we did and it goes even higher.

So with the bullish sentiments, who knows, we slight at $52k like it was nothing. But first the next stop should be $55k. And if we did it next week, then chances are very good for us that we could be around $58k-$60k at the end of the month.
With everything that goes positive in the market, there’s no doubt that we’re on its way surpassing the $60k expectation at the end of the month. This is not actually hard if the market performs positively at a consistent basis. However, even if price correction suddenly sets in, that won’t take any longer I think so we’ll still have higher chances to see $60k before this month ends.

This is how volatility could positively affect the market. At times it can be annoying for us, but most of the time it gets to achieve more than we expect it. And if the market stays this way, there’s high chances that we can witness a new all time high sooner than what’s we supposed to see it.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well Prepared For the Bull Market And So Far In Bitcoin Investment. on: February 17, 2024, 09:34:44 PM
I'm very happy to see that you have finally shifted to Electrum wallet and saved your private keys and seed phrase in private locations. You now own your coins because the keys are yours, trust me as long as you don't tell anyone about those keys and seed phrase then you are safe. I wish you best of luck and hope to see you getting more mature as a Bitcoin investor. I also hope that you may have good return from your investment.
Bitcoin will always be safe as long as the keys are safe and secured as well. And not your keys, not your coins, so always own that keys without disclosing it to anyone you know. And same with anyone else, I am happy to see your little achievement in the market. It may not be that huge like the big whales gained in the market, but soon, as long as you keep on DCAing when there are chances, and you never gets deceived with greed and those crypto influencers in the social media, I guess you’re good enough.

Bitcoin investment holds a very promising value, not only today, but most likely in the future. So continue motivating yourself with bitcoin, that will be a good preparation for your retirement soon.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 17, 2024, 08:58:17 PM
Well, if a woman becomes uncontent, then it is a red flag. You see, if the guy is the one who works hard or works his ass, then because the guy gave a not-so-expensive gist, the girl would react badly or not be content? Wake up; those women are not worth it. Yes, they have the right to demand, but of course, see the stats of your partner before you ask for something that is out of budget or expect a gift that only a guy could attain with his current situation or status. Valentine's Day is not all about gifts or what; it's about how you will express your feelings to your partner, family, or friends. If both partners don't have enough money to buy gifts for each other, then be content to be together. It's not about money; it's about who and what you are celebrating. And for me, a woman who doesn't have the capability to buy things on her own is a red flag.
Your last line for me may sound an understatement for women. Not all women are capable to provide on their own most especially if they are left with nothing but kids at home. But yes, I have to agree, if they really aim to get it, they can find ways to make it happen. Now, back on the topic, the kind of girl in the story is not the type of a wife material, as she choses to be more materialistic than being practical. She should be thankful instead as the guy offers her extra money, which the girl badly needed in real life.

However, every woman has different concepts on Valentine’s Day. But as for me, I’ll go for the one that accepts mo of who I am and what I can actually afford. The important thing is your presence when that event comes, so you can express your love and affection to the one you love.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Taylor vs Catterall - April 27 on: February 17, 2024, 04:52:32 PM
I haven't seen the first fight, but upon checking the records now, I see that it was a split decision win by Taylor. I think I will have to check the highlights of that particular fight. However, since this is not a championship fight and Taylor is not undefeated anymore after losing to Teofimo, I don't find it as an exciting matchup anymore.

If I have to choose between the two and place a bet, I'd take Catterall. I don't like how Taylor lost to Kambosos; he seemed to be not the same anymore. Additionally, I'm curious to see if he has fully recovered from his injury, so I'm fading him in this fight, at least for now.
