341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: December 01, 2019, 05:38:06 PM
Gambling addiction is a serious problem. I know some people who had become really poor from rich due to addiction. My aunt's friend had sold everything, house, car, all of his belongings as a capital for a loan due to gambling addiction. If you can't control your self when gambling, you should not gamble at all. It can break your life and make it miserable.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: December 01, 2019, 02:23:44 PM
Well, everyone is expecting for a bull-market by the end of this year. Even though it might not happen this year, let's just hope that the price will be good by the end of this year. The market had been up and down recently and the recent crash is really devastating since everyone think that it is the start of the bull-market. Let's all hope that this year will be a good run for bitcoin.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: December 01, 2019, 10:22:25 AM
If satoshi did not hide his/her identity he will be targeted easily by the government or other parties who would like to get his idea about cryptocurrency. Also, include security, cryptocurrency and blockchain tech is revolutionary, it is one of the best innovation that was created in terms of financial and data storage. It changed how people transact and secure information, funds while remaining anonymous.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French High School Students Will Learn About Bitcoin And Crypto on: December 01, 2019, 09:01:03 AM
If bitcoin and cryptocurrency will play a big role in our economy in the future, it is a good step for them that they started adding it to their curriculum. I think it is good to start learning about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology at a very young age because there are a lot of opportunities in crypto.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever on: November 30, 2019, 09:32:05 AM
LOL, I thought this is another post for guaranteed betting tips. That is right when gambling the odds of winning is slimmer than losing. Gambling is entertaining and risky at the same time, that is one of the reasons why people are addicted to it. If you can't take losing money, do not gamble or gamble only the amount of money you can afford to lose. Do not exceed what you have set aside for gambling.
347  Economy / Exchanges / Re: another crypto exchange hacked on: November 30, 2019, 07:51:30 AM
~snip
There is no guarantee that the exchange will always be safe from hacking,
Exactly! we have to hold our assets in secure place ( local wallet ) and we can't trust on exchange's security

One of the reasons why online wallets or even exchange platforms are not a good place to keep your funds. Especially if it is a huge amount of money. Hackers are just looking for a good moment and a good target where they can breach the security to steal money. Hardware wallet will always be the safest storage for crypto funds. Never leave your money online.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: November 30, 2019, 06:26:21 AM
People who are addicted to gambling think less of their priorities. They always satisfy their urge to gamble even if they run out of money for food, family, their daily expenses and sometimes they even borrow money just to satisfy their craving.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 29, 2019, 03:44:55 PM
I have tried different experiments and strategies before but things still didn't help in the end. We all know that gambling is still a matter of luck so despite all the strategies that we make in order to determine the percentage of winnings and losses, none of it will still work for us to reach the satisfaction that we want. What we need to do is to set a target goal and put a certain limit on gambling so we'll not exceed and lose all our funds.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 12:12:27 PM
It is true that the majority of people involved in cryptocurrency are men. It might be because the majority of women has different priority and most women are not really into technology. Not to mention cryptocurrency itself is really complex and most women are busy doing house hold chores. I only knowa few women who are involved in crypto and have seen some who are part of other projects as an admin or dev team.
351  Local / Pilipinas / Re: SEPTEMBER NA, DAPAT BULLRUN nA ITO PERO BAKIT GANITO.. on: November 29, 2019, 09:35:09 AM
Two years of being a hodler is not easy, super nakakatempt mag benta pero syempre mag target price ako na gusto ma hit kaya eto hodler paren ako hanggang ngayon pero sa naobserbahan ko, December talaga nagstart na tumaas si bitcoin at cryptomarket so wait nalang naten kung magkakaron paba tayo ng bull run this year or next year na, tyaga lang da pagintay mga kabayan, makakaraos ulit tayo panigurado.

352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 29, 2019, 06:56:51 AM
Most people don't do their own homework when investing. They are investing because of hype or FOMO. Not everyone is after the use case, most investors are after the profit. Never base your investment decision because someone tells you it is good, it will be profitable or etc. Always research about the project and invest in a project you think will survive in a long run.
353  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] What have you learned on BITCOINTALK FORUM? Share Your Experiences. on: November 29, 2019, 05:54:33 AM

354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 28, 2019, 04:14:24 PM
The only one who can prove who the real satoshi is would be the person who knows him personally, seen him working on bitcoin while it is being created. And I doubt if time will come that satoshi wi reveal his identity, there'a no point or purpose disclosing it and it is for his security.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The new Faketoshi strikes again! on: November 28, 2019, 03:34:50 PM
Since Satoshi became silent, a lot of individuals started claiming to be the creator of bitcoin. Satoshi intended to be anonymous and had left no trace for him to be known publicly. So, claiming to be satoshi itself is ridiculous, not unless someone will make a solid proof of being Satoshi.

Thia one will be difficult, maybe I will only get mad if I have a huge fund and it ends up losing while I am away. But, whenever if it wins or loses I will tell the child not to touch anything that is not his\hers without permision.
358  Local / Pamilihan / Re: South Korean exchange Upbit hacked for $50 million on: November 27, 2019, 03:51:36 PM
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: November 27, 2019, 08:26:53 AM
There might be no problem at first but once you have tried withdrawing your money your account might get frozen because most gambling problem indicates that multiple accounts are not allowed in their TOS. A lot of users have been complaining about this when they are withdrawing their winnings with or without multiple accounts in some cases. To be safe having different accounts in different platforms will be better.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 27, 2019, 05:30:18 AM
I can see frustration, it is part of the market cycle, those who have been here for so long had experienced worse scenario than this. Instead of getting depressed, try to take advantage of cheap coins. Buy altcoins that are on the top of the market cap or altcoins that are already established, or add some more bitcoin. Getting too depressed or emotional during this narket situation will not help.
