Where do people get this retarded idea from that "Bitcoin is dead if it falls below price x".

Oh yeah, I know: from the same jumping-to-conclusions part of the brain that tells them "we never fell below the previous ATH, so it can't happen this time either"...

Because if people lose interest in something that already lost its value, you cant make it valuable again.
Like before fancy shells were "money". You could gather some shells on the beach, and then trade it  against bread, meat etc. But suddenly people did realise  that shells  have next to no value, so the lost interest to it.

Same will happen to BTC.

Much insight , such economics....

And it was a time when romanian girls held that spot....what times Smiley))

I personally doubt that after  fall to 100-200$ bitcoin will rise again.
Just scare to think about all those people who newly  bought  all those gridseeds, dragons with  THs of power, thinking they will  get money back.
But now, difficulty is still rising, and value is falling. This hardware will never  ever get your money back.

Is htere any other  purpose for SHA256 ASICs? Can you hack protected files with it?Smiley

3425  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I miss the Soviet Union. on: April 07, 2014, 03:29:27 PM
Here is a comparison of the USSR and the Russian Fed (RF)

USSR:

1. No immigration from parasite states to Moscow and other cities
2. Free healthcare, but long queues.
3. No corruption among cops, and other public servants. But lot of corruption among the top Communist officials.

RF:

1. Moscow and other cities are now coping with millions of non-white immigrants
2. Expensive healthcare
3. Cops, doctors, nurses.... everyone is corrupt.

I'm pretty sure you know  that because you lived there , isn't that?
In every damn communist country everyone was corrupt ,not just police or doctors .. everybody was trying to get some money out of their position.

Satoshi has also a large part of the bitcoins

The top 1% of Bitcoin holders hold 80% of the BTC wealth too, I've always said this is a problem too but it is something a lot of people don't want to hear.

Please show me one other top 20 coin where one address holds 23% of the total supply.

You do know it is estimated that as much as possibly half of the Bitcoins on the market could be gone or lost forever due to hard drive wipes or government seizures?

If this is true (and not saying it is) that would mean there are 6 million Bitcoins in the wild and Satoshi owns a million of them. That means Satoshi owns 16% of the total available Bitcoin supply.

Add on top of that 927 people own HALF of the rest of the supply

http://www.businessinsider.com/927-people-own-half-of-the-bitcoins-2013-12

If you will not come out and admit Bitcoin has the same distribution problem you are showing some cognitive bias.

It's still 16% of the coins mined so far , not 23% of all coins that will be mined like in case of zeta.
And what you're saying about bitcoin are assumptions , while  in this case we have proofs.

Satoshi doesn't have 4 million coins..
Secondarily

top 100 adresses hold just 19% of the mined BTC while this adress holds  23% of the total coins supply

Looking through you post  , your whole past changes with every new post Smiley))
First you post in giveaways , then you have sold 4000 btc at 10, then you have only 0.1 btc =)))))

Cut the crap about the 4000 , you never had them and stop with the lies and fake stories to get people to buy in this failure.

IF you really read that you would have seen i was asking for help mining if you look at other post they clearly sai di bought them. I can tell yoo must be one of those people who only mines like i said i buy from coinbase and actually at times trades using paypal. If you would like i would post every single btc address from poloniex, coinbase, cryptorush and cryptsy

Signed message form an address that has contained once 4000 coins or it didn't happen.
Besides , if you sold them at 1 pack of cigars each.... how the hell were you new to the crytpto scene in November 2013. ?

And poloniex wasn't even around at that time =)))))) nor was cryptorush

1000 pages of the most spam infested garbage and worthless junk you can find anywhere on the entire forum.......
I guess some people still believe things are true just because they read them on the internet.......
I would not shead a tear if this got 51%'d out .....
Probably never happen though......
Such vehemence,  much acridity,  so vitriolic.

He has a point , I bet 200 of those pages are made of pool spam.

Cinnamon is a she.  The ignore button takes care of spam nicely.

The ignore button only hides the post..
The watch list alert is triggered .

And often they make new account for doing the spamming so ... ignore is not helping that much.

nice photoshop on the invoice proofs, LOL

this is going to be a state of the art dump once value rises. one of the best hoaxes here yet

The entire concept of sending out junk mail vouchers over the course of two years is ridiculous.  But it give these guys plenty of time to sell their premine and make a few bucks.  That's been their plan from the beginning.  These fools that think this is going to bring cryptocurrency to the masses are idiots.

But you have to admit that cryptoworld is full of idiots who believe in those crappy coins Smiley

You forget that the coin is already launched.
This time there will be no one dumping coins on the exchange.
Cyprus coin did not have any company behind. BitLeu will have. And you will be able to invest your BitLeu through this company.
In fact it will be the only coin that will offer a great opportunity. The ones behind this would not give a once in a life time opportunity for 100 BTC or whatever you get when dumping all the coins on the exchange.

In fact one of us probably has more than 100 BTC in his pocket as of now and not from selling cryptos but from real life businesses. I am sure that he would not be happy with that little amount in his pocket, the plans are a little bigger. Just wait for it .. just wait for it.

Ok , now you've done it .....
You've just fucked up the whole idea behind bitcoin and cryptos.

Let's have some kind of central bank behind the coin....
Do you actually use your head? I'm better trusting ponta and mircea badea than a private company behind a currency.

ps.
did you check the laws in romania once at least ?

What laws in Romania ? BitLeu is not issued by Romanian government, it is not under it's law. The company will not be located in Romania. The company will not issue the BitLeu, it will be created by the miners. The company will only create uses for BitLeu.
They will not act as central bank. If people will invest BitLeu in the company's businesses, they will have to buy that BitLeu on the exchanges. The company will not keep it, it will have to sell it thus ensuring there will be a continuous trade and a use for BitLeu.
I am sure that there will be more romanian businesses starting to show up as accepting BitLeu as a form of payment. I have been already contacted by company owners and their words make me think they are interested.

I can tell you how people will react all over the country on this:

CARITAS Smiley

Why CARITAS Niothor ?
CARITAS was a well known Ponzi scheme who depleted the savings of many greedy Romanians in the '90s.
The BTL project don't ask for the Romanians money, in fact Romanians will RECEIVE BTL by "airdrop".

If you still live in Romania I don't understand why you are surprised by that.
You know how new things are labeled here from day one.

A political party , a foreign company  , a bank , an investment fund..
They all be labeled from the starts as
FSN, Banca religiilor , Caritas and the foreign companies that kill our economy Smiley

99% of the population will start throwing shit at this project. And let me tell you that i don't see this company with too much enthusiasm either.

Coins are about decentralization not what's boiling here in the pot.
3435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof ! on: April 07, 2014, 02:05:14 PM

We will live and we will see.
Where I live now CARITAS is a good name, a health insurance company. It doesn't mean that they are thieves if there was one CARITAS stealing money from people in Romania.
Why someone would think then of CARITAS when they will hear the company name of BitLeu investment fund ? The fact that there was a scam on the market at one point in time, on a ponzi scheme system, will not make everyone think that BitLeu is the same. There is no connection between us and the one creating the CARITAS scam other than we come from the same country. If you want to know, that CARITAS scam was practiced in most countries at some point in time, after some dictatorship has fallen.

Some people choose to believe that maybe BitLeu is a scam. Maybe they are the one like you. Maybe they are the one like my wife which called BitCoin a pyramid scheme. If someone is thinking like that then it's good they will stay away form the investment fund and BitLeu, we don't need them. My wife saw the value of the 'ponzi scheme' named Bitcoin when she took a peek at a huge stack of bills withdrawn from the bank from selling Bitcoin.
The people are spread into two categories: Believers and Non-Believers. Same as the photographers: Nikon guys and Canon guys. In this case, me and other supporters of BitLeu, brother, we are the Leica guys.

If you know what I mean.

Talking about believing in Bitcoin and after that how much money you got from "selling " it =))))

I don't believe bitleu is  scam..but right now i do believe is heading for failure.

Let's see who is going to post in 1 year on this thread Smiley

3436  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia and bitcoin - BFF? Never. on: April 07, 2014, 01:39:23 PM
I am pretty much sure Russia is going to be one of the last countries to be positively disposed to bitcoin!

Very few nations are currently "positively disposed to bitcoin". Russia is no better.

I think that more countries have a positive view on bitcoin than trying to ban it.
All the EU is a thriving land for bitcoin right now.

Zetacoin has the potential to break even the Litecoin level.

Wait and see.

There are almost 7 times as many ZET than there are LTC units in existence, so I really doubt that ... but I do believe it will keep growing!

There are two times more ltc than btc and the price isn't showing that
It's the utility of the coin that will show it's true price.
