They totally deserve it for running such a solid site. Solid side? Do you remember just what happened the last time bc was trading over 4000 coisn on Mintpal. They solid website just froze and crashed like any other crappy exchange. They are solid when they have 100 trades per hour , I doubt they can handle properly the volume cryptsy has. |

region coins don't make sense, the nature of Bitcoin and Crpyto currencies is being a worldwide thing for everyone to use and to be NEUTRAL. Also, not looking too good if coins start with ONLY a Windoze wallet and nothing more prudent (unless the entire coin is aimed at dumb Microsoft users anyway). Greatly in favour of competing currencies and, thus, some viable Altcoins, I don't see too much sense in this one. It offers nothing that Litecoin, Peercoin or some reasonable existing Altcoin didn't already have, so why bother? (And no, I do NOT see ANY similarities to PoS coins either, especially as this one is PoW and clearly wasting more hashing power and is not a low-energy coin like PPC, MINT, Ecocoin, YAC, ECC in any way.) If the free market lets it fail, then so be it. One can try and push it, bribe people to revive it, or subsidise it any other way but in light of the large number of better and more complete coin solutions out there one should not bee too disappointed if it does not get off the ground. This is not really some shit coin (nor a scam etc etc) but, just like Maplecoin, Germanycoin, Eurocoin, or eUSD, this coin is not needed either, it's not convincing and unfortunately not very well thought through. It may be best to focus on the promising ones already in existence and get on those bandwagons instead. I appreciate the effort you put in for writing this essay. I appreciate that you didn't bash at him for posting the real reason while the coin is failing. The problem is that it doesn't bring anything new to the community but also it drives away a lot of people with it's name and it's somewhat nation flavor. We have invested a lot of time, money and resources in this project as we believe that GPU miners will be looking to move to the incredibly energy efficient X11 Hashing Algorithm that our network uses. 11 rounds of scientific hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo)Bitcoin and Litecoin paved the way for crypto-currencies but they have encountered many teething problems such as large pre-mining, Illegal Goods and the ban/s in China causing the value to drop dramatically each time effecting the global community.
We feel that a new crypto-currency is needed as people stop mining / using Bitcoin and Litecoin for the above reasons (Such as ourselves) To mine for a new crypto-currency with a ASIC resistant algorithm and that has no bad press and is run for the good of the community not just quick profit.
What a load of bs. Bitcoin and litecoin weren't pre-mined. You can't stop people for buying drugs with any coins , even with your globaldamnation coin if somebody is willing to sell for it. Bitcoin is not banned in China. With this load of lies and miss information right from the start , along with the stupid advice I can free the future of this coin...unfortunately it's not much to see. |

I feel like this market is being kept up by hoarding, not by buying. Its almost as if the resistance is coming from an unwillingness to sell more than anything.
Is this not an ultimate sign of a bottom? Price holding even if no fiat is coming? Bitcoin's price kept at $500 by the current adoption of 1 million people? No speculative premium? I think your 1 million people wallets figure is irrelevant in that we still have this figure in which 90% of bitcoins are held by 500 or so people. Absolutely. It's hardly decentralised and is ripe for manipulation at any point by large holders. And not to mention that Rpietila is in the famous 500 supernodes!  But actually the way to think is: we know Bitcoin market cap for certain. What we don't know is the number of owners. If there is 500,000 owners, then they own twice as much by dollar value. Which means that it can go up even more because there is more people left! ADD: Coinbase alone has more than a million customers, or do you think everybody registers with multiple accounts?  And USA is about 40% of Bitcoin activity... A million customers...that is pretty unbelievable. Remember that a lot of people tough that the actual number of Mt.gox users was way higher than the February outcome revealed. And their website being outside 1000 top us websites by traffic doesn't add too much confidence. With only 37 millions transactions in the blockchain and with the number of daily one being constant from may last year between the 50-70k range... I doubt there are that many bitcoin users or HODLERS. |

I agree that having a multipool paying out in Spaincoin seems to be pointless. Maybe someone can compare how many coins they get in a day with their hashrate mining the coin directly vs the multipool?? If the multipool pays better though then that would not be a good sign.
Anyway now that the airdrop is happening this is when you would expect some press. There may be many things happening behind the scenes, but in the meantime how about some kind of interview that details what Spaincoin is, what it's purpose is, and what is the state of progress? The developer of Electronic Gulden had an interview on Youtube which was attracted over 26K views before it was removed for dubious reasons, but still this was important in demonstrating that their project had definitive plans moving forward.
About their video , they claim it was about the flagging , while i assume it was them buying hits and likes... an insane amount in such a short period. About the mining profits... no sane miner would mine spaincoin at the moment. Your far better minign some alt dumping them and then buying spaincoin. Rough calculation with a 10% trend it shows that multipool pays 6x times the profit I would make mining spaincoin directly. As a disclamer , i used the starts i have from multipool with the data from coinwarz regarding spa. |

No coin would have any use because all the people would hold to their coins and nobody would buy something with them fearing the price would double tomorrow. |

Non-pershable food is a great investment in any circumstance. It doesn't have to be a doomsday - it could just be a hurricane, a flood, or something like that. You could even take it camping. It will probably rise in value as a commodity. You could sell it. In a worst case scenario, if you never have the need to use it and can't sell it, you could still... eat it and save money over eating out.
In the worst case scenario the price of that stuff goes down and you eat canned corn at the price of macadamia nuts . |
