3461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof ! on: April 07, 2014, 11:36:51 AM
I believe the team whould need acces to gov data in order to resolve the problem without seing ID cards.

And that I am pretty sure they cannot have (gov data I mean).

Of course there are other methods too, but off the grid. That can not be done (for obvious reasons).

Well , even access to the so called gov data won't be of much help. You know how the last count ended.
Not me and none of my neighbors were counted in the last census.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: April 07, 2014, 11:34:27 AM
This doesn't look like pump and dump to me.

Most of the big buys happen when people aren't really doing any hyping.

This looks more like what happens with stocks days/hours before big news or positive annual returns are released.

Obviously everyone do as you wish, but if you're the sort of person who's speculated on 'rumours' before this is probably the most investable rumour yet. I'm not going to miss out. I'm all-in.

If I'm wrong, and I lose a bit, fine - I can live with that.

What I won't be able to live with is missing out on the ZetaCoin marketing cap rocketing because ZetaCoin is confirmed to become a real world-used crypto and genuine 'next bitcoin' contender.

Last bit of advice, do a google search for ZetaCoin. Read the threads from those planning its future. Read the posts and tweets from the big Zeta players, and notice how the way they talk and the language used is nothing like pumping. They're simply talking like they've already reached their goal and the rest is a formality. They're no longer trying to convince you of anything - they don't care, they're just waiting for the inevitable change of history and to count their money.

Personally, looking at everything together, I don't think any other alt has ever come close to being as compelling a punt as Zeta is right now.

Apart from that little bit i highlighted which is a presumption on something happening and can't be taken as a confirmed thing  you might be correct.
Also don't forget about the dog coin when mentioning alts. Smiley

3463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Aphrodite Coin [APH] boost of Cyprus economy - Coinmarketcap position 5 ! on: April 07, 2014, 11:26:47 AM
Love how this coin completely died after the dev was caught red handed dumping the premine coins.  And now he hasn't said a word in this thread, or his other 'shill' account julian.

How do you investors feel right about now now that you lost everything, as we warned you earlier?

Fine... The coins I have are a reminder that I tried to do something for Cyprus...

It was pretty obvious that none of the coins will go cyprus. It was a scam. If after seeing the evidence you still stuck yo your belief that you were doing something for cyprus, then that wasn't the very smart thing. You could  have sold the coins and sent the fiat to someone in cyprus. Then at least you would have done something for cyprus.

Many people said the same thing about Auroracoin, even now after the airdrop is happening some people stick to their belief that real people are not claiming coins, they are the ones that can't see the reality... Some of these coins may succeed in helping people escape the fiat system, sending fiat does nothing to change the economic situation.

Except the fact that 100 percent of people will try and find the quickest way to sell these 'country coins' for fiat so that they can actually have some kind of use to them (that's assuming the airdrops are even legit).  I think you're missing the big point...the entire premise of country coins is so far fetched and detached from reality  that nobody is winning in this game except for the devs and the quick pump flippers.

We are not dealing with huge corporate vehicles with billions of dollars for pushing these ideas...we are dealing with 15 year olds in their basement cloning code in a day and telling people that businesses in their country will accept the coin 'because it has so much promise.'

Come on dude, use your head.

You nailed that one pretty good Smiley.

If you've got nothing to add, just leave this thread alone

You were trying to do something for Cyprus?

You have the nerve to claim that?
You we're blinded by greed and dreamed you will get rich by holding those coins , that's all.

How the f* would you have helped the people in Cyprus by holding their coins?
I bought 100 Botswana pula for my collection , will that eradicate hunger in botswana?

Helped...and you have the nerve to say it.
3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: April 07, 2014, 11:19:29 AM
is possible price increase to for example 1000 satoshi in future?

Of course it is , but it depends on so many factors right now that we won't see it too soon.

we got 2 factors may push price to 200 or more .... my guess

1-Usd pair on cryptsy

2-Next halving

Please , no more stories about price increase on reward halving...
There was a real madness last time about that and what happen?? NOTHING!.

It's not reward halving that's gonna increase the price , it didn't happen with bitcoin it didn't happen with dogecoin why would it happen now?
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof ! on: April 07, 2014, 11:13:51 AM
It was argued that some persons migth be tempted to fool around with an informatic verification proces, because there is an agloritm that permits to generate valid CNP's.

The dev team could always ask people to send scaned copies of theyr ID cards as proof. But that is way wrong, since crypto currencies should be 100% anonimous.

I believe sugestions are verry welcomed to find an honest drop.

This is the problem , you't identify and filter out scammers while keeping the users 100% anonymous.
The solution has to be somewhere in the middle.

But , with the current system in romania , where nobody knows for sure how many we really are it's going to be pretty tough

3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: April 07, 2014, 11:08:14 AM
Balduro please tell us whats next for Auroracoin.
Something you can pay for with AUR in Iceland?

Aurcoin.is

Well, thats nice Smiley
I hope to find a hotel on the island where I can pay with Aurora.

http://godafoss.is/
They are listed on Aurcoin.is.  Looks cozy! Cheesy

The map is a great idea but i think it needs a bit of moderation. There are a few spam links on it in the middle of nowhere
And that hotel... on the website it has no link to aur payments...
The advertising should be mutual.
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTL] Bitleu - Romanian investment cryptocurrency - ASIC-MultiPool proof ! on: April 07, 2014, 11:01:59 AM
You know just as well as anyone in Romania that a valid cnp doesn't imply there is a person alive who has that cnp number.
I can generate 1000 CNP with a simple script that would be valid , but probably less that 1% would identify a real person.

Can you also show 1000 valid ID's when you redeem your BTL ?

As you know, your CNP is on your ID. How hard would it be to be required to actualy show you ID when you redeem your BTL ?

care to elaborate this process?
and a quick estimate on the manpower required?

That manpower will be minimized significantly if the spread will be done in some years with no sudden Airdrop. Some people are still not observing that this is not a speculative coin like Aurora. It is a coin that will have real projects behind, that will offer something to people !

My previous message was saying that we will not just accept some generated CNP. Probably a person will check the ID. Of course, we can't guarantee that the shown ID will not be a fake, but showing a fake ID will happen rarely in Romania as of now.

If there is human checking involved in the process , even over "years" it is a general failure.
Doing a check a minute a person won't be able to do more than 500 a day /that's 10 000 month and 120 000 a year.
So you'll need 200 employees working full time at a crazy speed to finish it a year.

It will cost you over 100 000 in wages alone Smiley.

Human verification is out of the question , is pure madness.

200 people that will do this and they will have an income from doing it, is pure madness ? What about you wake up to reality ?
Creating a job and paying a salary to a group of people it's not called madness, but thoughtfulness.

Ripping people off and profiting from their hard work is madness and selfish behaviour. Usually that's how things go in Romania. The government, the banks and some financial institutions, including big corporations do that.

And from where will those money come? And those are only wages , equipment  , the space rent , and much more.
Do you know how much that will end up costing ?
Are you ready to throw 1,5 million euros at least on something that might not be worth 100 euros by the time of the air drop?

Human cheeking is a bad idea Smiley
Why pay 200 people the job that a computer might be able to do it.

3473  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia and bitcoin - BFF? Never. on: April 07, 2014, 10:40:58 AM
The only thing regulations or bans do is make going from Bitcoin to fiat through banking institutions and vice versa much harder, if not impossible.

But that does nothing at all to stop peer to peer Bitcoin trade, which Bitcoin is designed to do.

Countries can ban Bitcoin all they want, it will be no more effective than banning BitTorrent or any other distributed technology has been in the past. For all the armies of lawyers, MPAA/RIAA lobbyist shills, and millions of dollars wasted, p2p filesharing is alive and well. Blockchains will simply put these proto-distributed applications or DAPPs into overdrive by monetizing them in a way never before possible. It is the missing ingredient in open source distributed platforms that can be applied to just about anything that can be considered a resource, whether it is a news feed or energy distribution.

Overall they are fools to think such actions will do anything other than push Bitcoin underground and give every incentive to develop digital smokescreens that keep the preying eyes of governments out of our lives.

There is a small difference ... for bitcoin to survive it needs to be used as a money transfer and then you will have to somehow exchange it to your local currency ( and doing so through localbitcoincs right now in my case it's 2x more costly for 2000 than WU) or to actually use it to buy stuff. And unlike people involved in filesharing , those merchants will be sitting ducks.

Unfortunately a whole real ban on usage all over the world will send bitcoin in a coma for a period.

But that won't happen.

We have yet to see (real) Capitalism being used properly either.

That is the real problem. The real capitalism is not used anywhere. For example, in the US, it is Socialism being dished out after re branded as Capitalism.

That's the problem with all : socialism , communism , capitalism etc...In theory all sound ok. In real life , humans find a way to f*** it so good you need to invent a new concept.

Say no to "-ism"s!  Grin

Now really , English is the fourth foreign language I learned but...is there any -ism word that describes something nice ? I can't think of any right now.

Libertarianism is "nice" some of the time.  Smiley

Until somebody tries it in real life at a large scale and we can all guess how it will end.

Cut the crap about the 4000 , you never had them and stop with the lies and fake stories to get people to buy in this failure.

3476  Other / Politics & Society / Re: South African HIV prevalence rises on soaring new infections on: April 06, 2014, 04:01:32 PM
Yeah , South Africa was ruled by...  people prior to being ruled by .... people.
Insert colors.

Well... I don't want to generalize. The problem is much beyond the skin color. The economic situation in South Africa has worsened exponentially since ANC took over power in 1994. But the same can be said about Russia. What ANC did to South Africa, the same Yeltsin did to Russia. Look at what happened to Russia after 1991. At least South Africa didn't lose 15% of its population to alcoholism and suicides.

One of the poorest nations in the world (Moldova) is almost 99.99% White.

Well , Russia doesn't have a 15% hiv infection rate , nor 1/4 women raped at least once. And also I don't consider the situation for russian people getting worse compared to 198* period. I actually think they are far better know , living myself in Eastern Europe and since I traveled a few times into the former URSS.
Alcoholism was a problem in all eastern countries, and that was since medieval times.
You can't even compare Moldova to the countries in Africa, common.  and it's on place 129 by gdp in the world , hardly the poorest. (China 89)

Let's face it , since South Africa shifted , it's going backways.
Also , lets see the opposite.... a  .... guy running a country with a majority of .... poeple. You know who i'm talking about Smiley
And , does Detroit ring a bell? =)))))

remember our previous discussion? Wink

equal bla bla bla bla...
Will the only verification be the cnp number or not?
Are human being or something different  Grin Grin Huh
It will be a big change, including the team behind the coin, so please be patient and please stop bleating and barking but speak normal. Thank you for your patience and normal behavior. Appreciated! Smiley

First thing first...
The team or the previous team posted a big piece of crap.
The one I quoted above.

There is no way in Romania to verify a CNP for a normal person , only the government can.
I can generate 100 valid cnp numbers with two clicks.

So , that garbage above has to go if you want to be 1% credible with the airdrop . otherwise , it's just a turn off for anyone having a clue about romania.

What if people will be identified by an authorized agent from a paypoint that will already exist at the start of the drop ? In fact there was never stated any 'airdrop' which means sudden spread of the coin. Don't expect gazillions of people selling their BitLeu on exchanges after receiving it.

We learned a good lesson from Aurora and we will not make the same mistakes, investors, be aware of that.

Regarding the CNP, yes, it can be verified by a real person and then input into a database for not giving money twice to the same person. Just a thought. We will probably develop a very good system to ensure that everything is as correct as possible. We are responsible now with developing that. Any advices or ideas are welcome.

I want to make everyone sure that we will make it that way so the value of the coin will not be affected.

You know just as well as anyone in Romania that a valid cnp doesn't imply there is a person alive who has that cnp number.
I can generate 1000 CNP with a simple script that would be valid , but probably less that 1% would identify a real person.

what if prices for eu also rise by 30-80%?? than things would get interessting...

That would entirely depend on the extent of the sanctioned imposed on Russia. The harder Russia feels hit, the harder it'll need to compensate for the loss in other income.

As Merkel talks about "more sanctions", I read some funny comments on Russian forums by Russians along the lines of "would you impose those sanctions already? We are tired of the talking." Smiley

The problem with this economic war is that if it will ever start for real , no matter who wins nor Merkel nor Putin will be affected.
It will be us the average citizen that will get ....in our gas hole.
