Was this case the reason why Binance delisted BSV? If my memory serves me right, Craig filed a lawsuit in UK because the burden of proof that he is not the real Satoshi lies on the accuser instead of craig providing evidence that he's the real one.
3523  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA Weekly Competition - 0.0005 btc entry fee. on: January 19, 2020, 12:16:08 PM
For clarifications:

1. Whether or not makapag-bet ako for 7 days, the entry fee would still remain as BTC0.0005?
2. In case of a tie, pool will be split equally?

Week 1, Day 1 picks:

1. Miami Heat -1
2. Indiana Pacers +1.5

3524  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ICO Listing on: January 18, 2020, 08:20:54 AM
The comment above is exactly why it is important to have a proper announcement thread here. At least show us some basic information and features of the exchange.

~when i trying to googling, i just found HitBtc not HotBTC, is this official account? or maybe just spaming promotion of new exchange?
It's probably this
Code:
https://hotbtc.exchange/

Maybe it's a combination of hitbtc and hotbit exchange  Grin
There are so many names available but it seems these new exchanges can't think of something different.

3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLP Tokens vs ERC-20 Tokens on: January 18, 2020, 06:23:09 AM
Did Bch just joined the "Ethereum Killer" team (Eos, Tron, and many others)?

~
I think it will be just a paradise for different scammers. The faster and easier it is to create a successful crit-project scam, the easier it is to cheat naive greedy suckers. But from the positive, we can expect that the price of BCH will go up in the future

Yeah it could pump temporarily and will be dumped hard by ICO scammers like what happened to Eth. But that's IF anyone would actually invest in token sales on the Bch blockchain. Who uses Bch anyway?
3528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is WPP Project finally scam? 60 Million USD for nothing? on: January 18, 2020, 05:48:54 AM
I am very happy to see the WPP project with its achievements in raising funds with ICO $ 60 million but after they entered the exchange the developer did nothing about it and only 1 exchange was reached, namely DigiFinex, then what about the $ 60 million money has been brought run away so this project is so abandoned? ~
Did you actually follow the project after the listing on Digifinex? Or you are one of those who only looks at the price on sites like CMC?
I just visited their website and saw that they already have products available for sale https://store.wppenergy.com/

I find the project quite ambitious to be honest and that's probably why it's taking a lot of time before we can see more developments. The second and third quarter will be crucial for their native token (WPP). It's where we see if it can actually be backed by a Financial Assets and become a stable coin.

WPP Token to be backed by Financial assets
After extensive research, which took more than time than anticipated, WPP has located an acceptable viable external asset backing remedy for WPP Token. The Whitepaper, Tokenonics Report and Roadmap have been updated to reflect an adjusted timeline to establish a tie-in of WPP Token to the price of H2, now projected for Q2-Q3 of 2020 (subject to FINMA and/or SEC approval).

3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are mainstream events linked to crypto's price movement on the market? on: January 17, 2020, 08:41:58 AM
I've noticed that every time the stock market goes up, crypto goes down in price. The same thing happens vice versa.
Quote
I believe this shouldn't happen in the first place as crypto was meant to distance itself from the centralized world.

Crypto should be independent from whatever happens in the outside world.
These guys moving in and out of crypto are also experienced traders in stocks or even forex. I don't see anything wrong there, they are free to trade in whatever market they want.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Europol Might Hinder Monero's Progress on: January 17, 2020, 08:32:49 AM
I've posted something about the FATF travel rule and privacy coins

Quote
With these developments, I think we can say that government authorities believe these coins are illegal and they keep on pressuring crypto exchanges to delist them.

Pressuring the exchanges where Monero is being listed is the best way for authorities to reduce its usage but that's not going to stop their progress though. The beauty of peer-to-peer Grin
3535  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Recap on 2019 Philippine Development on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency on: January 17, 2020, 07:33:42 AM
3536  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: I thought Hero Rank is impossible to reach[Half way there] on: January 17, 2020, 07:15:18 AM
Activity wise, mga 18+ weeks behind ka pa for Hero rank. Assuming na 14 activity per two weeks ang madagdag, minsan kasi hindi ganayan nangyayari sa ibang account. Congrats in advance anyway.

Hopefully maraming mga bagong susunod.
3537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV Supporters! Let's all Unite! Let's all educate newbies. on: January 16, 2020, 07:01:54 AM
Yeah, I saw that post too and I think it was a it was a noob move/shill. For us who have seen such pump before knows what's coming next.

Do not ridicule any coin or token in crypto space, remember that some have already invested in BSV while the price was very low and it surge which means they make profits unexpectedly, people cares only about money making even if it's coming from scam coins
Just because someone made a profit from any coin/token does not mean we cannot call it out or ridicule. For me, that Bsv is riding on Craig's claim that he is the real Satoshi. Unfortunately, some people believe him despite the fact that he was caught forging documents and that he cannot even sign a message from Satoshi's wallet.
3538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 16, 2020, 06:18:45 AM
I also see it as a marketing strategy. Some investors somehow looks forward to these burning of token events that's why they buy that coin. It also allows the team to be more flexible depending on the market situation. A token/coin with 1 billion supply can do more "gimmick" to help keep the project afloat than a token/coin with 100 million.
3539  Other / Meta / Re: Are "giving merit to those who need a bump to rank up" topics allowed today? on: January 16, 2020, 05:18:57 AM
There are plenty of merit giveaway threads nowadays.
