3541  Other / Archival / Re: user revolutacc is using self-moderated thread to delete his post and re-post to on: April 19, 2021, 07:27:18 PM
Am I seeing a different thread?
It doesn't seem to be self-moderated to me. Anyway someone doesn't need a thread to be self-moderated in order to be able to delete their posts. The purpose of a self-moderated thread is so that the OP can be able to delete unwanted replies.

What I suggest you should do is catch him when he has created a new bump in less than 24 hours and report it to the mods alongside all details of how he's abusing the forum rules.
3542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 18, 2021, 11:40:14 PM
What worked for someone might not work for you, therefore If HODLing made someone rich, day trading and taking profits could make you rich too. What we have to first identify is our goals/targets and what's the best kind of strategy that can work for us.

I know traders who have made over $8 Million from just a few thousands of dollars day trading different coins just in the last 7 months. If they had just decided to HODL those few thousands of Dollars, I can bet my hand if they would have been able to make even $100,000 as of today.

3545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first success story trading crypto on: April 17, 2021, 10:47:02 PM
Congratulation OP. I did see a lot of your questions in Beginners and Trading discussion boards. I am glad to know that you are off to a good start. There's always an opportunity to learn something new. Keep learning every day  Wink

Beginners are really lucky. Many trading groups have advised buying dogecoin, but I would still not buy this coin. When you have been in the cryptocurrency market for a long time, then before buying each coin, as a rule, you analyze the market well and try not to buy meme coins.

I think to some extent it was a smart move in trading terms so long as the coin pumped, and he bought and exited minus making losses. So many coins are jokes in the market, but I believe most of us are here to make some profits and not to just buy and hold the coin for eternity. If buying and selling a meme coin can double your investment. Why not trade it?  Wink
3546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: April 16, 2021, 11:49:57 PM
I have tried doing this with top altcoins like Ether via the ETH/BTC pair, but truth is there comes a point when markets start to confuse. Sometimes when BTC rises, even alts rise along. When BTC drops, alts drop along.

Other times, alts just start pumping out of nowhere due to news and FOMO like the recent pumps of DOGE and XRP. It's hard to predict such outcomes via charts. Otherwise one of the best indicators is probably the Bitcoin dominance. When it's over 60%, alts seem to follow BTC price or at times, BTC outperforms them. When the BTC dominance is down, alts tend to perform better than BTC.
3547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A quick question about setting limit orders on an exchange. on: April 16, 2021, 11:22:07 PM
I want to program a sell order for x amount of coins for when/if the amount of dogecoin I have reaches .45/coin...but at the same time, I would like to program an automatic sell order where I sell all my doge if it dips below .30/coin in order to prevent epic losses.

Can I do both at the same time? If so, how do I do that on binance.us market exchange?
Yes you can with OCO Order(One Cancels-the-Other Oder)

I just checked out Binance.us and that option is under the stop limit order once you click on the small down facing arrow

This video should be able to guide you with OCO order and how to set it up - https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/what-is-an-oco-order. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
3548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Different price for DOGE ~30% on: April 16, 2021, 10:27:29 PM
1. Avoid using the exchange.bitcoin.com. I consider them scammers. The owner behind bitcoin.com is a BCH owner. At one point they claimed "BCH = Real Bitcoin, BTC = Bitcoin Core"

Don't support scammers, use better exchanges.

2. Avoid using HitBTC, it's another scam exchange with lots of complaints about it. Just do a small search. They alsoi have they highest withdraw fees in the crypto exchange department.

3. HitBTC has put the Doge withdrawal wallet offline. So people are dumping Doge coin for other withdrawable coins thus the lower price. Do not deposit any Doge in there expecting to make quick profit.

3549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and Ethereum replacement. on: April 15, 2021, 11:27:26 PM
Hello,
Is it true that a coin like Gridcoin is a replacement for Bitcoin and coins like
Nope, do you have any idea how many altcoins have tried to replace Bitcoin or tried to be the Next Bitcoin? Hundreds!  Cheesy

EOS and Tron are Ethereum replacement?
For the past few years they have been in existence, just like NEO both EOS and TRON have failed to live up to the hype miserably. I don't think they will even be able to make it to the 10 top again

The market is more important than technology?
Would Bitcoin be where it is today without any demand for it?

3551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience with Trading Bots on: April 14, 2021, 12:28:52 PM
Hi mate sounds enticing. Is this bot is designed by Kucoin themselves? Like it is been offered by their platform. Ive used Kucoin but not often and not sure that they have now like this.
Yeah it's built by them. Not sure if you are using the web or app version of Kucoin but according to their announcement at the beginning of the year. The bot is only available in the app version so far - https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-kucoin-launch-trading-bot
3552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My head hurts from all the platforms out there, how do you pick? on: April 13, 2021, 11:54:30 PM
I would like you to think in the event things go south. Don't think only about profits.

Why would you want to look up your hard-earned BTC from several years ago in a third party platform just for a few dollars just in the name of DeFi, yield farming or staking? (Honestly the APY's never go beyond 20%)
What if the platform disappears or exit scams? Do you have a plan?

To me, I think the profits you have and will make from Holding bitcoin alone are way much more and less risky than locking your coins in centralized Defi Projects
3553  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the cheapest way to buy bitcoin? on: April 13, 2021, 11:38:04 PM
If you live in the USA and cant buy it on binance.

(Binance totally locked up my account for some reason and wont get back with me, which is whatever because I didn't have any crypto on it anyways... and I guess they think I'm trying to do something against their rules as they wont let me create another account)
Binance.com blocked users from the US from using their platform some time back.

Apart from Binance.US the other best alternatives are p2p exchanges like bisq, hodlhodl or loclacryptos

cryptowisser can also help you d some filtering on exchanges that are US trader friendly - https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchanges/?coins=&fee=2.0&continent=&us_allowed=on&finder=1

Please before using any suggested exchange, do some research. read through their ToS.
3554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Apkpure official app breached with trojan on: April 13, 2021, 11:26:15 PM
I don't have the APKpure app on my phone, but I have downloaded apps in the third party app stores in the past. Knowing the danger this kind of practice might cause, I decided to get another mobile device strictly for crypto (mostly wallet and exchange apps) and the other devices for other common apps and game mods from APKpure site and other app stores.

Thanks for the eye-opener though  Wink
3555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitfinex stay away. I cannot withdraw BTC. on: April 13, 2021, 10:58:56 PM
That is really sad. Unfortunately the only people who should be able to help you are Bitfinex. You are always advised never to keep your funds long term in an exchange. This is one of the reasons. Not your keys, not your coins.

I have never used Bitfinex before but the only choice you have is pass their KYC verification or else you won't be able to receive your money again.
3556  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: linzhi.co.uk Review for SCAM - NEW SCAMMING WEBSITE ! Beware ! on: April 13, 2021, 10:38:19 PM
I have been seeing lots of Linzhi scams pretending to be the official Linzhi ASIC sellers. the only officlal website of Linzhi is https://linzhi.io
Any website other than that is scam.

If you have any questions, email them through sales@linzhi.io
Other channels you can reach them through

3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is being done with the exchange CoinBene ? on: April 13, 2021, 10:22:57 PM
Thanks for the info. In the past, I have used this exchange a lot, in particular, using it as a transshipment point for exchanging coins and further withdrawing them to electronic payment systems.
I generally don't trust exchanges, but this one seemed to hold out long enough. It is strange that they started having problems during the bull run.
The problems didn't just start recently, they have been there for a while. You were just lucky that you were not one of the victims. I suggest you take care and avoid using their service as much as possible and look for alternatives.
We have lots of p2p and centralized exchanges that can also  let you withdraw your funds through electronic payment methods without any incident.
3558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 13, 2021, 10:10:01 PM
What matters most is your strategy and what you like to do. Any of the options above can work if you dedicate your time and patience into it.
I know someone who made around $10M in 6 months trading what we call shitcoins in Uniswap

Personally I just do day trading since I was unlucky to buy 100 BTC when it was just worth $10 per BTC and HODL. I am not making a fortune, but it's way more than I make when doing my job  Wink
3559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EXCHANGE] KuCoin Exchange on: April 13, 2021, 03:30:26 PM
I try it here.

Does anyone know where I can find the data (Volume of daily tradings fees) from Kucoin, which calculates the dividend?

You are better off contacting Kucoin Live support on the Kucoin website or else you might wait for ages without getting a response here. The Livechat button is at the bottom right side and their support response rate is so quick compared to other popular exchanges I have used before.

A quick search through reddit shows that there so many people in a similar position like you and basing on the responses from other members and mods. The daily revenue data is not being publically shared.
3560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance.com Fixed Staking USDT cannot be redeemed on: April 12, 2021, 11:46:01 PM
Binance support should be able to sort you out but their response speed is so slow, by the time they respond, you will probably have been able to redeem your tokens.

Just my other thought;
I don't really find the yield farming, savings and loan thing fascinating. Yes, it seems easy to lock your tokens and just wait for the interest but the $23 you made after 7 days isn't worth risking your assets worth $19K

You could make that amount or more in a flash if you bought BTC, ETH or one of the top market cap coins once its price has started trending upwards
