2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin minning is profitable through laptops? on: March 14, 2022, 11:51:05 PM
Don't even think about it because it's not worth it. Bitcoin mining is now done using specialized hardware known as ASICs, and Laptops do not have ASICs in them. They instead have GPUs and CPUs, which are now obsolete when it comes to Bitcoin mining.
2542  Economy / Reputation / Re: No one wants to speak against stake.com? on: March 14, 2022, 11:24:44 PM
Maybe people read your story and realized that It was your mistake to begin with. How do you expect someone to support you if you are not even honest enough to support yourself?
Get it from me, I wouldn't support anyone who's dishonest.

First, get your shit together before you complain that no one wants to help you. Posting so many threads won't help. It will make people ignore them even more.
2543  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - Bitcoin Mixing Platform is Launched! on: March 14, 2022, 10:59:16 PM
From what I understand. Someone can create their own bitcoin mixer using your platform... correct?

If yes, I have a concern about Bitcoin mixer scams, which are currently so many. Won't your  platform encourage scammers to create multiple scams through it since it may make it easier to set up?
What happens if your platform is plagued with scam mixers? Do you have the ability to discontinue the partnerships?
2544  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone done business with Lychee at Asicminersupply? on: March 14, 2022, 09:50:54 PM
Not sure which supplier you are referring to.

1. asicminersupply.com domain is even on sale
2. The Twitter account (https://twitter.com/asicminersupply) is old and last tweeted in 2014

So which business are you talking about? Where and how did you find them?
2545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I identify a closed or open source wallet on: March 13, 2022, 11:59:20 PM
Side Note: Just because a software is open source, it does not mean it's the more secure than others. So make no mistake to grade an open source software as the most secure.

Being Open source simply enables you to check out the code used to build the wallet and maybe contribute in case any vulnerability is discovered and needs fixing.

2547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 13, 2022, 11:37:21 PM
Happened to me several times, and It wasn't just me, My brother and some other friend too complained about their trading decisions. They would say whenever they entered a position, It would go the exact opposite most of them time as if they were being watched  Grin

I think it all comes to the psychology involved in trading and also, most time we always look at only profits while not preparing for a possible loss in case things don't go as planned.
2548  Other / Meta / Re: What happened to the forum plagiarism rules? on: March 13, 2022, 10:59:31 PM
Maybe we should know what kind of plagiarism is bannable and which one is not so that we don't waste in making futile reports.

I don't usually report plagiarism, but this user has all the evidence showing that he is an offender, not once, not twice, but almost all his post history. I made a report about 4 days ago yet today, the user continues to plagiarize.

What happened? Should we just give up on this plagiarism reporting thing?
2549  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ukrainian Scam Donation Posts and Users on: March 13, 2022, 12:04:45 AM
He created an account a few days ago and pretended to be inquiring about mining gear to be used to generate more money from the donated money

Hello friends, we have established an organization to support children and families damaged in the war. We plan to cover the care, education and protection expenses of the children who were left without a family during the war, with the income we will earn by mining within this organization. At this point, we would be very grateful if you could tell us the mining configurations that we can get the best efficiency with the most appropriate budget.

Best regards.

When you look at the name, you realized what he's aiming at; donation scam
Name: helpukrainepeople

If you check out his profile, there is a link to one of those scam donation websites: https://helpukrainepeople.org/

This guy's intentions are not good at all.
2550  Other / Meta / Re: Not sure is the thread is legal. on: March 12, 2022, 11:54:20 PM
Definitely not allowed as it has already been deleted by the mods.

To keep track of the user who posted:
Here is the archive of the thread: https://ninjastic.space/topic/5389441

User : Advo82

Advo82 woke up today to make that post after a 4-year break, which means the account could have been compromised, and they were trying to carry out the now common Ukrainian War donation scam.

2551  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hello! I create a very simple price monitoring for newbie :) on: March 12, 2022, 10:57:53 PM
Great site. Looks like this is the perfect replacement from coinmarketcap. I am going to bookmark it.

I have a couple of questions.
1. Do you have any plans of creating an app as well?
2. Why are some 7 day charts green and other red? Any meaning about the color differences?
3.  I would love to see more ranks on price changes on top of 24H price change. Maybe we could have a customizable column where one can select price change rankings according to certain time intervals such as 2H, 6H, 12H, 1W, 1M, 3M, 6M etc
2552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: YOBIT NEW FREE 4700 DOLLARS on: March 11, 2022, 11:52:24 PM
Don't be fooled. The "free dollars" are worthless.

I don't know if this is your fist time seeing such emails from Yobit, but year in, year out, they keep sending such emails about airdrops that materialize to nothing. Do not give up your worthy BTC or ETH, trying to buy the useless "dollars"
2553  Other / Meta / Re: Russia going offline? on: March 11, 2022, 11:34:55 PM
That's not possible as some businesses are relying online and they could not sustain their operation without the internet. I'm not sure, but I think the source is unreliable unless we read and hear this kind of information from mainstream media since this is big news, Russia going offline is just like separating from the world.
You think the deluded Dictator in Russia gives a fuck about the businesses relying on Internet? You are very wrong if you believe so. I am not from Russia, but based on the news I have watched about how the Country is being run, I would not be surprised if it happened.

If someone can send his army to another country to bomb the shit out of Kindergartens, civilian apartments, Hospitals and then claim they did bomb anything, then what else is he not capable of doing?
2554  Economy / Reputation / Re: Echa123 Take my portfolio on: March 11, 2022, 11:16:17 PM
i,m not use ,  portfolio LAST 1 YEAR but my accout Red, hem please and i have clear my problem with TOP bitcoin and kopi susu. they have forgiven me for this problem.  Smiley
The red trust will stay. In fact, I am going to add mine so that campaign managers who hire you for translation should know that you can not be trusted. You copy other people's portfolios claiming that it's your work
2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with ASIC or with GPU on: March 10, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
Ask yourself this question.

Why is the other person selling the ASIC if its still profitable according to your calculation?
IMO, GPUs are more flexible as compared to ASICs. You can mine a number of altcoins using a GPU depending on the profitability.

A honeypot is a smart contract that pretends to leak its funds to an arbitrary user (victim), provided that the user sends additional funds to it. However, the funds provided by the user will be trapped and at most the honeypot creator (attacker) will be able to retrieve them. a honeypot operation consists of a computer, applications and data that simulate the behavior of a real system that would be attractive to attackers, such as a financial system, internet of things (IoT) devices, or a public utility or transportation network.

During the methodology the product we buy at lowest price and sell at high price is called marketing. it  leads the profitability in higher extent. and the main cause we notice that if we buy a bitcoin at higher price and the price goes decreasing by day to day .it causes great loss to investor .once a high investment made to achieve high gain if we gonna deep we can manipulate high profit outcome .investing is an art. Buy low, sell high is a strategy where you buy stocks or securities at a low price and sell them at a higher price. This strategy can be difficult as prices reflect emotions and psychology and are difficult to predict. Buy Low, Sell High is mostly a strategy for short-term investors who are trying to generate significant profits within just a few years

2558  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the safest way I can upload an image on the forum? on: March 09, 2022, 11:51:23 PM
I find it easier to use the Gyazo application, which is enough to install from your PC and always use CRTR + SHIFT + C directly to capture images easily and this for me is quite safe and simple, very easy.
https://gyazo.com/download?dl=now
Just simply copy the URL.
Some applications can also gather private data, which I think OP is trying to avoid by using a browser running on Tor -   https://gyazo.com/doc/privacy

What is or are the possible risk associated with uploading images on the forum?

I've been rumbling my head and don't seem to find any. Haven't uploaded quite a few images on the forum and haven't felt threatened or faced by any security challenging situation it. So, what possibly could be th challenge in this regard.
I am assuming OP is trying to avoid a scenario where he can be tracked using an image hosting site which could collect his personal data when he uploads an image to it and links it to his Bitcointalk account when he posts the link here.
2559  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Blockstream Satelite on: March 09, 2022, 11:22:21 PM
just curious to know about all of these thread and answer it actually the Blockstream Satellite network broadcasts the Bitcoin blockchain around the world 24/7 for free, protecting against network interruptions and providing areas without reliable internet connections with the opportunity to use Bitcoin. Blockstream Satellite broadcasts the Bitcoin blockchain to the entire planet via satellite, reducing Bitcoin’s dependency on internet access. Everyone in the world now has an opportunity to use Bitcoin. Blockstream Satellite provides an alternative method for receiving the Bitcoin Blockstream Satellite ground stations, known as 'teleports,' participate in the Bitcoin network and transmit blocks to geosynchronous satellites.

If you must share information from another source, then at least try to include the reference link. Plagiarism is against the forum rules and if you get reported. You may earn your account a permanent ban

2560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How is that laptop mining journey so far? on: March 08, 2022, 11:59:21 PM
Laptops don't have the ability to cool like some desktops do even if you got those expensive gaming laptops with powerful GPUs. In fact, most of them have the wattage limits on the GPUs and CPUs to avoid over heating so that they don't get damaged.

If you are thinking of mining using a laptop...avoid.
