2561  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining device recommendation on: March 08, 2022, 11:47:17 PM
Is there anything you can suggest to increase our income and to be more helpful? Because at the moment, we are trying to help with only limited donations. We need to be able to help more by increasing revenues. Because there are people in really difficult situations.

Also thank you for your reply.
Just prove them the help you can afford. Bitcoin mining is more like a long term investment, which also carries some risk. You don't expect earning profits right from day 1 when you set up your mining farm.

Worse still, what you are attempting to do is like using the donated money to risk it all into some venture you are not aware of. What if you lose it all before it does even it's intended purpose?

2563  Other / Archival / Re: [Table] Annual and monthly profitability of bitcoin on: March 08, 2022, 11:06:53 PM
The biggest yearly declines of any asset were Bitcoin's 74% decline in 2018 and 58% decline in 2015. You can't ignore that.
The decline occurred after ATH and halving, right?
The first having took place on 28 Nov 2012, second one was on 9 July 2016 and the latest was on 11 May 2020. The next will be in 2024. So as a matter of fact, bull highest gains have been realized right from the year the halving takes place

Quote
If that's true then I wouldn't rule out a possible declines after ATH $69K in November 2021. Right now the post ATH drop has hit 44% and I would consider a declines of more than 70% this year.

It's possible, but the gains of 2021 are not as high as those in 2017 and 2013.

Quote
Low point for bitcoin price if based on biggest annual decline in 2018 [74%] then this year bitcoin could decline to as low as $17K to $20K. It's still possible, but there's never a guarantee that it's true.
I am expecting 10k to 8K before another bully run post 2024, but anything could happen.
2564  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How has Bitcoin helped the world? on: March 08, 2022, 10:36:10 PM
Just so you know, you can also trade Forex, Futures of different products, stocks, bonds etc online... So it's not only just Bitcoin or crypto. The biggest advantage is that Bitcoin is traded in unregulated or semi regulated exchanges that do not have strict KYC requirements, unlike other Financial instruments.

Also, trading is not a guarantee that one will constantly earn or even get super rich. Lots of newbies have lost money trading. But those who don't give up and learn can master the art.

Two tests, the first minimum amount, success, the second about 1000 euros, failed, and the email could not be contacted.so uknow what happen now?
Why would you ever experiment with them when you can see previous comments complaining they can't contact them and have other issues?
I never used cryptomoxer.io andf their account is inactive in bitcointalk forum since October 2021 so we can't help you with this, but there are much more reputable mixers you can use today.

It's very likely he didn't read the reviews or does not even know what has been going on via the thread. He probably just registered to make a complaint on the thread.

@songssongs
Someone else had a similar problem, according to the review on Trustpilot. I am not sure if it was resolved. But I do hope they work on your case.

Bybit are introducing a new fee structure and scrapped off the old one that had that interesting Market marker rebate  Cry

And then there are now this VIP levels as well that I used to see in Binance.

The new changes will be implemented Starting from March 18, 2022 at 6AM UTC

2567  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: osiz technologies - madurai - fraud company - nulled scripts - stolen your money on: March 07, 2022, 11:58:19 PM
I have also been scammed by this company. I engaged with them last year to create a defi application and paid over $15K USD. I still have not had a working application delivered and all communication from them has stopped.

I created osiztechnolgiesscam.com ( https://osiztechnologiesscam.com/ ) to try and help raise awareness of their activities. If you would like to share your story for inclusion on the website please use the contact details at the bottom of the page.

Osiz Technologies is a Scam.
The accusation is almost 6 years old. How come you got to know about this thread after you got scammed?
...and who pays over $15K to a strange online service provider for a product they have not even seen or tested?

Have you realized the importance of carrying out due diligence that we keep talking about?
2568  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake exchange[TOP-TRADE-X.COM] on: March 07, 2022, 11:45:27 PM
Sounds like an old scam trick I have seen before. The user will pretend to send you the funds in the very exchange. If you try to withdraw, they will ask you to "verify the account" by first depositing your Bitcoin in the exchange. Once you deposit the BTC. It's gone.
Thanks for being Vigilant. Flagging the scammer

2570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How PancakeSwap detect restricted countries? on: March 07, 2022, 10:53:52 PM
It's a decentralized exchanges so if it has such restrictions, it sucks in my opinion. I don't dig deeply on how such restrictions were considered then implemented on Pancakeswap. If it is not from a DAO vote from Pancakeswap communities (holders), it is not a good movement and it breaks the decentralization of Pancakeswap.

PancakeSwap to Block Users from Blacklisted Countries in March

Some countries are there but as said, restrictions only acceptable if it is a result of DAO vote. Else, it is unacceptable!

I am so sick of this so-called "decentralized" exchanges running on smart contracts. They don't even deserve to be called decentralized exchanges, maybe semi-decentralized exchanges.

I remember posting about Uniswap's move to block tokens last year ("Decentralized' exchange Uniswap starts blocking token access)
2571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is this an Arbitrage? on: March 07, 2022, 10:37:04 PM
It would make more sense if you shared the link of the address or transaction ID

But I think it's just a wrong price quotation or estimation. It's a common scenario, especially with the pump and dump shitcoins. Don't get too excited. I know of a guy who thought he was going to exchange tokens he though were worth over $100K only to get Ether worth less than $1000  Grin
2572  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥 PALindicator - find coins before they breakout 🔥 on: March 07, 2022, 08:47:02 PM
Interesting. I love trying out new tools, would love to check out this indicator. But I am a person who prefer shorter time frames like 15 or 30 mins for my trades. I do hope it effective on 15 minutes (not particularly 100% record by a workable win rate)

- if your crypto pair, forex pair, stock or any other instrument close above the blue line, its an buy opportunity
- if your crypto pair, forex pair, stock or any other instrument close above the yellow line, its an sell opportunity
A little confusing. Is this a mistake?
2573  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: www.bitcou.com ??? on: March 07, 2022, 08:08:12 PM
Scamadviser thinks it's legit tho 80% score, but i wouldn't recommend using it since the admin is no longer active here.

Scamadviser is not a good tool for determining if the website is suspicious or not. Just don't waste your time with it. I have in the past used scamadviser to check sites that 100% sure were scamming, only to get 80-90% legit score.
2574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 07, 2022, 06:58:32 PM
I am not a full time trader yet, but I have got to be honest with you. Trading isn't as easy as it may seem to a beginner. I do trade whenever I see an opportunity which has helped have a steady flow of income, though it's not guaranteed that I have to make a profit in every trade. Some of them end up as losses.

1. Trading futures is a no-go area for a beginner. Unless if they have some little money they can afford to lose to play with
2. Avoid trading signals. Most are either scam or pump and dump schemes
3. Trading spot in a bull market is the best thing scenario that can happen to a trader who is a newbie
2575  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptopyramide.com - Ponzi scheme on: March 05, 2022, 11:52:56 PM
I read your link carefully.

It describes precisely the concealment of information about the rules of the game from investors, this is fraud.

My rules of the game are open, that is the difference between fraud and fair play.

People play lottery, bet on betting, play casino, why they all don't shout SCAM! SCAM!
after all, the money that the winners receive is taken from the victims.

Because the rules of the game are transparent and understandable to players.

People understand the responsibility that they can lose their money if they lose.

No matter how much you try to sugarcoat it. A pyramid or Ponzi scheme is considered a scam here.

The difference between casinos and Ponzi schemes is  because of this

Casino don't promise guaranteed profits, so people already know that.
2576  Other / Archival / Re: Complex password is the key to security on: March 05, 2022, 11:41:08 PM
Can someone explain why it takes seconds to brute force say a 7 digit number?  So someone password is say 8090050.  You telling me it would go through each number and then find a match?  Or it would not only find the match but then log in?
Are you for real?

With the good scripts and automation tools available. A hacker can take only seconds. Brute forcing is more like a trial and error method until the right credentials are got. So by the time they got the credentials, it means they tried logging in.

2577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASIC miner for ravencoin exists? on: March 04, 2022, 11:57:33 PM
If you are thinking about Ravencoin mining ASICs, then forget about it because he algo is ASIC resistant. Besides, what's wrong with mining using GPUs?
You could have way more flexibility mining other more profitable altcoins in case Ravencoin became less profitable.
2578  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Disadvantage of Bitcoin Talk Forum and Crypto with the Cost of Smart Phone on: March 04, 2022, 11:33:44 PM
Might as well complain about disadvantage of using Cellar Mobile Network because of lack of access to a mobile phone or disadvantage of using a highway because you can't afford a car

I am not trying to be insensitive, but you should realize not all humans will own smartphone or laptops at ago. While you complain about you or your community not owning smartphones to access bitcointalk. Someone out there is wishing they could at least have a single meal in the past two days.

That is what we call life.
2579  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: March 02, 2022, 10:49:27 PM
Name:  Coinswitch
Ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2041972.0
KYC: No
Fees type: Fixed Rate
Supported coins: 426

Not sure what happened to coinswitch but I don't think it deserves to be on the list of instant exchanges anymore. The whole layout is now different. More like regular exchanges where you purchase or Bitcoin for fiat and vice versa. Like how coinbase.com operates.

I don't see the feature to instantly exchange crypto to crypto like it used to be.
2580  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ukrainian donation website, BEWARE! on: March 01, 2022, 11:47:17 PM
It is unfortunate how scammers use such sad moments to scam off people who would be willing to help the victims. I think I remember a spike of Fake donation site and tokens when COVID19 broke out too

I don't know if namecheap.com can take down such domains instantly, but it would be a good thing to report them
