What's the most profitable for 1080ti
Most profitable is to make your own research.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: December 31, 2017, 02:56:26 PM
So if you had the money and extra energy cost is not an issue you'd go with the 1080Ti, else you'd get the standard 1080.
Vega is good. But driver and all that dances with tamborine in order to make it run properly .... some kind of masohism.
If it is a new rig, after 10 nvidia rigs, made exactly for cryptonight and couple of other algos where vega shine than it's ok. In other case nvidia is dosen times better.
Also as time goes new miners appear. Like Nescrypt which was supposed to be 1080/ti failure became not the best but good algo to mine. Hashrate in Cryptonight can also be improved and nvidia performance can become good also.

Anyone mining stable Zero on Windows? OptiminerZero just keeps closing out, pausing then says click any key to continue, when I do it' just closes the bat.

gave up on Nvidia not possible for me to have it stable, but rocks on AMD R9/RX 8GB, needs ~8gb virtual ram per gpu, but the coin self is a pain to mine, only suprnova useable, needs 720 confirmations until it's fine ... "long" ago I tried it and now all jumping on it.
don't waste your time, imo,
1) It is possible. Couple of weeks ago it was possible on amd or in linux only.
2) It was possible to mine with 1GPU in windows
3) Now it is possible to mine with windows rig of 4*GPU on 4 threaded CPU. Or 8*GPU on 8threaded CPU.
But yes - don't waste your time.  Grin

I disagree.  I've been trying to mine with 4 nvidia cards in linux and the damn program will  stop for the simplest of reasons, like a rejected share.  Maybe its great on linux but on Windows this miner is the biggest piece of garbage ever.  Mind blowing that there is a dev fee involved
I wasn't saing it is good or doesn't crash from time to time. But it became possible to mine ZERO 16 days before pump (windows nvidia rigs)
4*1070 of mining these 16days made me 2000$

There are at least 5coins that are making 15-24$ on 1080ti right now.  Wink
Trashcoins?

probably a mix of shitcoins and new coins. I guess he wont tell us anyway.
1) I already said you that unpolite and miserable coin beggars can pass by. I won't do their homework for them.

2) Smart people can use info and search.

3) All coins were trash some days ago. XVG for example.

MiningPoolHub Zcoin payout question.  Why do miners only get 28 of the 50 coins mined in the block?  Where do the other 22 Zcoin coins go?

Block rewards went down from 40 to 28 recently. I think the reward shown on that first page is incorrect..

yupp, thats it Smiley

Anyone get in on this juicy 10-15$USD a day per 1080ti?   two coins right now paying it, but i wont say which  Wink
Nicehash may have come back and crushed profits, but luckily theres a few algos/pools they dont support hehe
Happy Mining guys!

bulwark, smartcash, zcl if you started mining some time ago ... what else?
I was talking about fetish of majority of this thread people - $/day per GPU.
So I mean right at that moment.

Then a very noob question comes next. Is it profitable to run 2x1080ti on awesomeminer ? Should I mine an specific coin or use auto exchanges ? Any advices to a 1080ti noob with the current mining situation ?
It depends on what you consider to be "profitable".
In my opinion "profitable" is to make 5BTC in 6 months with 2 GPU (970+1080).
For another person "profitable" is to make "$/day per GPU".

So free advice - if you what to be closer to the first one don't even try to use awesomeminer/nemosminer/etc and nicehash/zpool/etc, otherwise your "profitable" will be that "$/day per GPU".

rig gtx1060 6gb says a no enough memory, almost up to 164gb of memory virtual. six cards 1060 6g
cant mine?

my 1070 8gb are ok
That's because there are still no normal windows miner exist.
You are using version that is only working with >8Gb GPU's

Voted too.
I'd like to leave some constructive criticism about the BTX logo. I must say I hate it. The magenta color is the only really good thing about it, the rest I find totally ugly.
I believe a logo based on the BTC makes BTX appear like yet another worthless copycat product with a lack of seriousness, branding and creativity. And the word "core" is so small no one can read it in icon size in the coinmarketcap list anway.
Ever thought about something new, like an abstract shape that somehow embodies the "core" theme, while keeping the familiar magenta color? Or some kind of logo contest?
Btw thx for the christmas present airdrop.

I hate to say it but I do agree with you, mate. What's more, I don't like this pinkish color altogether. The logo should be more masculine, more brutal if you please, not this frivolous shade of feminine, as well as the whole theme. Really, would you expect a lot of sense from a 17-year-old teenager girl? This is what I felt when I had been first introduced to BTX. I didn't think of it as a very serious project. This is of course an erroneous impression but it is there.

The coin definitely needs some rebranding.

I think the same.

I think the complete opposite. Pink is not a feminine colour, there is no such thing. That is what retailers have led people to believe over the years as a clever marketing tool. Colours have always been there, they are not owned by anyone and they are certainly not specific to a particular sex. Blue is not only for boys and pink is not only for girls. It's 2018 and people still think like that?

It's just like Mothers day, Valentines day etc, just another way of marketing to sell more products.

I quite like the pink myself, everybody will have a different opinion of course. At least it's different. There are enough boring business like dark logos around in my opinion.
Oh come on. Go to any toy or clothes store. Girls toys are 100% pink or pink-violet colors. Boys toys has more variety but blue prevails.
So yes in 2018 everyone is familiar with this color division whether you like it or not.
It's the same thing as with diamonds. Noone needs them especially at those prices, but marketing made its dirty job and everyone buy them because.

So I agree with those people. If you don't want bitcore to be called a sanitary towel then you'd better change the color. IMHO Some neutral colors like BTCZ used in its logo are better.

Good price to be in, may I know your target sell price?
Good price to be in was <100sat. Now it is much harder to rise x10. And no way to make x50 in the nearest future. (x10 to BTC of cause)

why not make a modification of the mine algorithm, to be exclusively extracted with cpu ?
Because of botnets.

Anyone who mines XZC on SimpleMining OS or HIVE OS ?

I have big drops on pool side - 6x1080 - sometimes show 8 sometimes 15 khs, never more.

Works even better on win, but its terrible to manage it.

Yeah you need windows, 6x 1080 should get 15-16kh/s easily. I believe SMOS uses a version of ccminer that's not ideal for zcoin, with a lot of pool side stale shares, even though miner shows 100% accepted shares.
1080 is doing 2400 with available opensource miners. 2400*6=14400. Not 15 and not 16 of cause.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: December 28, 2017, 04:23:25 PM
For NVidia XZC mining use the latest CUDA9, x86 ccminer from tpruvot (currently 2.2.3) https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases
Don't forget to add
Code:
--submbit-stale
parameter to BAT file. It will increase your hashrate at MPH a little bit too.

Don't use djm34 miner. It shows higher hashrate on miner, but actually performs worse in MPH.
It keep submitting previous job after block was mined. MPH actually rejects it but don't report it to the miner, just increases "invalid shares" counter.

It was true couple of months ago. But everything changes.  Wink

Payment received.
But I think something is wrong with maths.
I should receive 15K, but received 20.

Thanks of cause, but i'd like to understand why.

Someone please make a windows build of the latest wallet (including "epamounts" commit) for coinsmarkets. Thanks!
Why do you have problems with it?

launch walletd.exe, wait for sync, launch simplewallet.exe and generate wallet, then mine, then donate a few coins for me Smiley to address:

Maybe is premined mabe not, I don't care about it.
I'm just saying that anybody can get own wallet address and start mining.
I'm windows user so I download Ubuntu ISO, start virtual PC, next next next, ubuntu installed, then open terminal and copy/paste 4 commands and voila... I have wallet address (20 mins).

But people wants big red button "start mining and get rich".
You can't even understand that you are wrong.
There are only 2 options:
1) Dev can't make windows wallet. What future then you expect? No work => 1 sat price of dead coin
2) Dev is holding wallet release to make hidden premine - simple lie. What future then you expect? 1 or 2 pumps to dump premine => no real work => 1sat price of dumped dead coin.
