361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: November 21, 2017, 12:59:25 AM
He is legal only in Japan. The rest of the countries are not very positive about it
Hi Katabiamorambe. Please inform yourself before posting this. In a lot of countries, Bitcoin has no official status but is not declared illegal, and more and more countries are Bitcoin friendly (see South Korea, Singapore, Australia). 362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: November 20, 2017, 03:30:41 PM
Honestly, all those buying Bitcoins back in 2011/2012 deserve their fortune, I think lots of us heard about Bitcoin at least from 2013/2014, myself the first time I heard about it was probably back in 2013 but like many people, it was too much of a "geek" thing (without really looking into it though) and it was too much "gambling" as well, at least that is what I was reading on the subject.
I regret not buying a few in 2013 as I was richer before than now... but well maybe buying in 2017 will be considered a great move in 10 years time. Wait and see.

364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twenty Banks Join Hong Kong-Singapore Blockchain Partnership on: November 20, 2017, 07:54:01 AM
Don't know much about Hong Kong but know a bit about Singapore, it is very Bitcoin friendly.
Interestingly, Singapore is officially a dictatorship, and is more tolerant towards Bitcoin than my country France which is democratic.
That sadly says a lot about France and this is not the only case of democracy not willing to give cryptos an official status.

Good news anyway for Asia, thanks for posting.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 20, 2017, 07:45:05 AM
Some people are just too demanding with Roger Federer, he is 36 years old, and lost only six matches this season, incredible, actually one of his best seasons. He had a golden opportunity to get very close to Rafa Nadal to overtake him in the ranking in January, but lost to Goffin, simply ran out of gas.

Now Rafa Nadal is 1000 points ahead, and Roger has loads of points to defend in Australia (title), Indian Wells (title) and Miami (title).
Only hope for the Swiss and his fans is to see Rafa Nadal pull out at some important events (like the Australian Open).

Anyway, I expect a tough season for Roger next year, he will probably skip clay again, but he won't fresh in Australia like he was this year.
Rafa Nadal won't be fresh either, so next season will be one of the most difficult to predict.

Grigor Dimitrov can build on this and become a steady top 5 player. Still not sold on Alex Zverev by the way...

Next big event: Friday, Davis Cup final, between my country France and Belgium. France big favorite but David Goffin in great form.
Allez Tsonga!!!  Cool
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the Dramas, Twists and Turns of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2017, 06:51:33 AM
Man, the huge emotional decision that I have made was a couple of Sundays ago. That fall was huge, and I honestly lose faith to BTC because of these greedy bastards manipulating the weak. Anyway, I have this strong feeling that it will never be too late for those who sold to buy back again. Looking towards the $10000 mark by the end of year.
My little fingers tells me we'll need to get used to these big spikes again and again, at every fork (and non fork). It is not too good for Bitcoin's image, and I hope it will not damage it too much.
What happened last two weeks was indeed worrying but I am personally proud of myself for letting it go, I stopped checking at the price for 5 straight days and was delighted when it was above 6500 again.
Bitcoin Cash is still right now the biggest threat and I hope the community behind Bitcoin will do its best not to let people down.
I am optimistic though  Smiley
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 20, 2017, 01:20:51 AM
Who bought in 2011 and still post on this forum? Probably no one.

Ha. Hahah. Hahahahahahhhaaaaa.
Okk... please don't read my post too literally  Wink but you know what I meant I am sure, and big kudos to you, wish I was there earlier. But again perhaps in ten years time many will say wish I was there back in 2017, everything is relative.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 19, 2017, 02:49:39 PM
Oh my God, is the theme of 2011. If this guy was a firm believer in bitcoin and have invested at least 1000$, he has become a millionaire.

I hope for him that he keeps them!
Someone who bought Bitcoins back in 2011 probably sold all of them long time ago, in 2013 or earlier.
And some buyers actually forgot about their bitcoins, or got hacked.
Think about it (these are wikipedia figures):
February 2011: $1.00
July 2011: $31.00  Grin bubble and big drop to $2.00
April 2013: $266
December 2013: between $600 and &1000.

If I bought in 2011 I would have sold in 2013 if not before.... and be mad today for not waiting, but hey no one knows the future.

Who bought in 2011 and still post on this forum? Probably no one.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin breaches the $8,000 mark after massive head fake on: November 18, 2017, 02:53:00 PM
Thanks for posting, the last paragraph is very optimistic.  Smiley
The article forgets to mention the possible factor of the first off chain atomic swap. Should enable the creation of decentralized crypto exchanges.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM in Taiwan on: November 18, 2017, 02:23:27 PM
Wow Good news thats really real.
But wait...I see it as no different with a safely ATM in General. i mean just like that  Huh I see it as a box that is locked with a padlock
I will be honest with you, this is the first in my life I see one, but you can scan your wallet and there is surveillance camera that you can see on the top.

It is this one > https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin_atm/2599/bitcoin-atm-lamassu-tainan-city-btctw-tainan-shop/
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin ATM in Taiwan on: November 18, 2017, 02:06:12 PM
Hi folks,
Stumbled totally randomly today on this in Tainan City (south-west of Taiwan):

Found out later that this is the only ATM in Tainan, what a lucky find!
And there are for now a total of 5 in Taiwan.

Anyway, made my day and thought I should share here  Cool
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All this BS is just delaying the growth of the overall Crypto Market. on: November 18, 2017, 12:18:59 PM
Also Mr Mcafee seems like he will have to eat his own d*** if delays like these keeps happening lol.

Mcafee was probably not serious with his 500k price, he is aiming at 50k most likely but added one zero to make it look better, so that it gets more hype, people retweet his prediction, and talk about his love muscle.
But on a serious note, what can you do? Some suspect Roger Ver is one of the guys behind what happened last two weeks.
These guys move the price of different currencies the want they want, we are only spectators...
The more it happens, the less likely "the mass" will adopt Bitcoin, just too much ups and downs these days.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever fix its high fees and transaction caps? on: November 18, 2017, 12:07:09 PM
I support Bitcoin. But I think it needs to fix its transaction caps and high fees to survive. Will this happen?

In this situation, bitcoin cannot fix its transaction caps and high fees, because its decentralized  digital currency and beyond uncontrollable due to different
circumstances.bitcoin is volatile in the blockchain market and every platform site's has a different transaction caps or gas fees of there services.

It is not bitcoin the fees fixer but the bitcoin sender...If you are in a hurry...then pay...
Not only a fee thing it seems, a picture speaks better than a thousand words:

Why so many unconfirmed transactions?

This is not good at all, and I hope a solution comes out soon.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever fix its high fees and transaction caps? on: November 18, 2017, 12:01:05 PM
That's my biggest concern of last 2 weeks and I was surprised not many talked about it, until last few days.
This is very worrying if Bitcoin wants to have a bright future and not remain a geek thing.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 18, 2017, 11:57:52 AM
Hmm I have a big bet on Federer to win the title but I wonder if I should hedge in the final if he plays against Dimitrov.
Actually Roger never lost to Dimitrov but there is always a first time, unless your name is Ferrer lol.
Funny you mention that. Cheesy
I bet once on a match thinking it was Federer but it was Ferrer I bet on. Grin

But on a serious note, I do believe Federer will win in the final as he always does when he gets that fair.
I don't know what his finals record is but it must be high.

Every finals matches I can remember watching him he has won.
It just might be him coming of age but I think the drive to succeed and knowing that his time to retire is within the next 2-3 years has him striving forward to not lose these matches and solidify his greatness in the world of tennis as being the best player of all time. Cool
You must have missed a lot of finals in 2014-2015 when Novak Djokovic was at his peak  Grin not to mention 2006-2014 against Nadal  Tongue
But yeah, against Dimitrov that should do it. Let's see how Roger deal with Goffin first (whom he destroyed in Basel a few weeks ago).
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the fork, is it a blessing to Btc or otherwise on: November 18, 2017, 11:27:26 AM
Hello guys, how are u, we have witness fork several and I want to know your view, if it was a blessing to Btc or otherwise

for me fork is a blessing to me because when fork comes the bitcoin will go so high and i will earn more money when bitcoin fork come.
But sometimes it would be good to think "technical" and not only about price movements and potential profits.
If the fork can accelerate transactions, I am supportive at 100%.
Fees too...

Now that the price of Bitcoin is circa $8000, what will happen if more and more people buy Bitcoin and we have a price over $10k or over $20k with more and more transactions everyday? How will Bitcoin chain deal with that?
Upgrade is an emergency, IMO.

Hi CyptoBry,
Yes it is an emotional ride, last two weeks have proved that again.
Most important is to keep reason, all the time, use your brain and not your emotions if you decide to trade Bitcoin, and Altcoins, especially Bitcoin Cash lately.
Exciting times, no doubt!
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Battle between bitcoin and bitcoin cash on: November 18, 2017, 10:04:08 AM
Many think that Roger Ver was behind what happened last two weeks, to make sure Bitcoin Cash would get strong (BTC transactions stuck for ages, move Hashpower so that Bitcoin Cash takes advantage of it).

Knowing that the guy must have saved loads of Bitcoin Cash at a very low price since the time he says Bitcoin is the best...

In short, you have a guy like him who can influence one currency at will, just like that.
Does it encourage you to invest in Bitcoin Cash?

Not saying Bitcoin Cash is dead... but I would personally not have high hopes.
Just my 2 cents.
380  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I didn't recieve my WITHDRAW from freebitco.in on: November 18, 2017, 09:51:35 AM
Hello every one!
I just 2 days ago request WITHDRAW in freebitco.in
when I want to write the wallet address I go to my blockchain wallet and click on copy button but the copy address was different with the address I see in my wallet but I paste the copy address and now after 1day and 17hr I don't receive any bitcoin
What should I do?
Is it possible the address wrong?
Thanks
Hello.
Blockchain.info generates a new address each time you use one to receive a payment. Nothing to worry about.
Do you remember (or better, did you save down) or do you have the address you used to receive the transaction?
If yes, go to this link https://blockchain.info/address/ and add the address to the URL link (after " / " ) you should be able to see what is going on.
A lot of transactions are taking a lot of time these days.
