361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 26, 2023, 05:40:10 PM
Hi guys! Happy holidays! Just wanted to know if you're planning on using AI bots and such technologies to boost your crypto profits in 2024. And now that I'm talking about this, I'm curious if you've already started to use AI for taking trades.
AI can be useful to gather information based on past trends. If you use AI to take financial decisions, then it won’t be helpful at all. In my opinion AI hasn’t developed so much that it can take the necessary decisions at necessary time. I have seen many people losing money on trading due to AI bots. You can do calculations and projections using AI, but completely relying on it to make profit can really be harmful. I won’t suggest anyone to use AI if you have big funds to trade.
If you use them like that ( to gather info's ), you are still going to based your decision on it. But there may be times that our decisions will differ to it, especially if we also add our own analysis on top of them. It's always better to decide for our self. And doing so can eliminate heavy regrets. Just in case the result didn't come very well.

AI's aren't new. They are improved now, and continue to be improved. But AI's will always be AI's. AI bots might have two types. One is they can decide for you but the other can only do automated works. Those how use the first one were maybe not confident about their ability. Basically they already know the consequences of doing it, and they can accept it easily.
362  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto is a scam on: December 26, 2023, 05:01:23 PM
Is Crypto a Scam?

The balance between the rich and the poor has always been there, even if there were a free source of financial freedom, some folks would still remain poor because they wouldn't learn, and they wouldn't put to work what they have learned (if they manage to learn).
Not balance though, because I think there are more poor than the rich. But there might be a reason on why it's like that. We already know why actually. Bitcoin is an example of financial freedom but it does not mean that each poor are now going to get rich when they use it.

It's true meaning is actually to transact freely and to have a currency that we totally own, which are free from manipulations ( inflations ). You shouldn't judge poor people easily and say that they don't learn or work. Many does that actually. But it's just there is some kind of force that prevents them to change their financial status. This why many can say that being rich, also has to do with being lucky.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 26, 2023, 05:25:42 AM
Sacking Pochettino will not be the best option for Chelsea because he is a good coach, this poor performance is what he inherited from the past management which is is trying to solve. I think Pochettino need some time to adapt and rearrange the team in his own pattern of football.
Chelsea showed signs of improvement this season that they did last season so the management of Chelsea will give the coach a lot of time to fix the team. I think Pochettino will be given till next season before it will be decided based on the performance of the team, either to keep him or find a replacement. Some coaches do not have instant impact on a team, some of them take their time to settle in. I still see the Chelsea coach as still settling in.
Too much talk and rumours currently about the Chelsea future which is creating confusion but after some bad period now we have positive changes into their performance even they are still having not good results, but it's time to allow Pochettino some support because he can bring more improvement which will bring consistency and improved quality but if management done again a wrong decision like they have done in Thomas Tuchel case then surely we will have more troubles and confusion in this club which will bring them down, and they could be not able to have anything positive in long run.

Chelsea's management have to understand they are creating things which are not going to settle quickly with few coaches as we all know take time for better results and this is surely time for supporting the current system and allow players to come out of the dilemma and play their natural game which will help them.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Coins Question? on: December 25, 2023, 07:29:22 PM
There are many shitcoins which have performed well and gain 100x significantly. Like we have and example of Shiba Inu. But this is really hard to find these kind of coins. So we should be careful while investing. If you want to make profit so I will recommend to diversify your investment in many coins.
And if you find a memecoin which you think that it can perform well in future so you should invest that money which will you lose so this will not affect to your personal life. So always do a good research and then invest in any coin.
Research doesn't always help with memecoins. Most of them are just pumping because of good promotion or random luck and hype.
That's true. Investments in meme coins aren't less than gambling because you know that you are buying a coin that isn't backed by a proper project, it doesn't have much to offer to the community because it doesn't serve any purpose, and the only way you can get some profit if the coin manages to get enough attention and hype within the market and in case that doesn't happen, the few million coins that you've bought will just sit idle in your portfolio.

So, those who invest in meme coins already know the risk, and if some don't know, the research can only educate them about the risks involved with the investment and then if they are okay with it, they will go for it or simply change their decision and invest the money in another altcoin instead.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if all Bitcoin is lost? on: December 25, 2023, 06:17:44 PM
What would happen if all Bitcoin is mined and all Bitcoin is lost?
That can only be theoretical thought but it's not going to happen practically because the value of Bitcoin determines the amount of safety the holders would have for their holdings. When Bitcoin had little to no value in the initial days, people barely cared about their coins or took care of their wallets or private keys and stuff, that is the reason why a lot of people lost a lot of coins back in the day that cannot be recovered anymore, but that isn't going to happen anymore.

Do you think that a person holding even 1 Bitcoin will be careless with their wallet or other important stuff related to it like private keys or seed phrases? No, because it's a lot of money and one cannot afford to lose that much money. So, it's practically not going to happen considering the situation we are in.
366  Economy / Economics / Re: India is the new economic leader of global south. And replacement for China?... on: December 25, 2023, 02:30:33 PM
I think it is very much possible, but it will take indian more than a decade to reach the height of china in terms of industrial output.
Look at china's industrial system, and recently they are forming a very strong relationship with Russia who have the raw materials required to take there economy and trades the a different level.
I really do believe that it will take india years to even match their industrial output, but as for now India is not ready yet for such a position now.
This is also what @jrrsparkles said in the first page/post that it will take India a decade. Maybe you haven't noticed it? But, no doubt that almost anyone will think about that, judging how India moves or looks like. Of course, we are no way of insulting or making fun of them, but we are only telling what we think, in response to this topic here. I'd like to add in, that China won't also be idle during those periods.

So if ever India have improved a lot, I'm afraid that China is still going to be ahead of them. China and Russia, are already a long time best friends. But, maybe what you said there is also true that their friendship nowadays have even became more stronger or sweeter than ever. I'm not sure if I will be happy about that though.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 25, 2023, 05:31:23 AM
I would maybe not compare Al Ittihad with Ajax Amsterdam as Ajax Amsterdam had a horrible experience at the beginning of the season whereas they could stabilize at some point. But Al Ittihad never really came into shape. They have some fundamental struggles to cope with. A new manager might be able to solve some of the problems. But for this season I think it's pretty much over as Al Hilal is teaching the rest of the league how to bring the game to perfection for SPL standards.
I have to agree with you about this because Ajax just come out of the bottom with having some horrible time and now things are coming back to normal but Al Ittihad is having much better they were at the top but now suddenly having decline in performance which bring them to this level and now new coach which is trying to make things better need some time for having better results, but their match on 26th December is surely going to be not easy for them.

Currently, their defense is really in bad shape with they already concede 11 goals in last five games, so they need to work on this because Al Nassr surely tries to destroy them with their aggressive attack, and they have to face more troubling time.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Currency is Passé on: December 24, 2023, 06:38:35 PM
I bought paid a parking attendant with cash today. Took about 5 seconds--I handed him a five dollar bill. Meanwhile, the average Bitcoin transaction takes... how long again?  Smiley

Before you can displace an existing technology you need to be better than the existing technology, and usually a lot better in order to displace an entrenched infrastructure that's been around for decades.

I don't think this is some kind of evil conspiracy, I think it's because the tech for crypto simply doesn't do what consumers want for a lot of areas right now.
We can say that cryptocurrencies already have some advantages compared to fiat money or traditional money it’s just that it is not yet embraced or accepted by most that’s why we’re not seeing it reach its maximum potential yet the fact that it’s not yet being used by most proves to be quite an inconvenience but in the following years it can surely become more mainstream and will prove to be as useful as fiat money or even better
In case someone doesn't know its advantage yet. It is decentralized. It means there is no need for a permission of a third party before a transaction can happen. As long as Bitcoin is not banned in a country, transacting this way is much easier and faster. And actually, cryptocurrencies are already embraced by the many. If what I'm saying is a lie, then cryptos won't grow this huge or won't exist this far.

We can just look at their market cap. They actually reach their maximum potential. It's just that there are only dump times, but this is not permanent. The market can also soon pump, and the newly added users will help push the price more evenly.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Leapfrogs XRP as Fifth-Largest Crypto on: December 23, 2023, 06:41:42 PM
Bullish times for Solana holders, well it’s bullish to be in most coins at the moment as over the next 2 years we will see much higher prices. XRP is still a good coin to have though, there is no competition. We are all here, hoping to make lots of profit in the next bull run. May I wish the best of luck to everybody.
Congrats to those who hold on to Solana. They deserved it because its not a joke what they have been through. I guess you guys know already why? Other coins are bullish as well but Solana seems to be the winner among all. It's only up to the Solana hodlers if they will sell now or continue hodling, hoping this momentum will continue. We can't see the future. So don't say that in the next 2 years, we will see a much better market.

I know there is adoption, improvements , and some positive news, but there is also negativities, and then the market will sometimes dump naturally when we are on the other side of the cycle. XRP on the other hand is no doubt still a good coin, especially now that their legal issues are already cleared out. Like it or not, there will always be a competition. But, just don't mind them.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 23, 2023, 09:19:55 AM
3rd ODI, Bangladesh vs New Zealand.

Today's match is most important for the Bangladesh Team. NZ picked only 98 runs. Bangladesh needs only 99 from 50 overs. 99 runs isn't a huge run score for the Bangladesh team to win. Also, today's match played a vital role in Bangladesh saving from shame to whitewash. If Bangladesh isn't able to pick the runs to win. The whole Bangladeshi Nation gives ignorance to all of the players. Although they already lost the previous 2 matches. Bangladesh need 96 runs from 48.2 overs. Best of luck Bangladesh Team.
In the second ODI match of Bangladesh vs New Zealand, the Bangladeshi bowlers came back brilliantly. The bowlers of Bangladesh bowled out a team like New Zealand for just 98 runs. Tanjim Hasan Shakib Shoriful Islam Soumya Sarkar bowled brilliantly these three players took three wickets each. Bangladesh batsmen are batting at the target of 99 runs given by New Zealand. Both Shanto and Enamul are batting, if they can watch and play, maybe Bangladesh team can win by wicket without wicket. Bangladesh is playing with the current score of 74runs and zero wickets in 11 overs.
After winning first two matches and series in third match today we have completely changed of mentality and game of the New Zealand as they bring their reserve players, and they were also not full committed for the game which allow Bangladeshi bowlers to restrict them at the score of 98 which is surely humiliated for them but still we have to praise Bangladeshi team which done good job and done good performance with this after having target of 99 their batting line up was also good, and they reached to this target with the lost of one wicket and into 15 overs which is also impressive from them.

Now series is ended, and we are heading for the next series which is going to play T20I series which is going to start on 27th December at this same ground hopefully Bangladeshi team will perform like today match and things could be good for them at the end of this year.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: High transaction fees affects those who DCA on: December 22, 2023, 02:30:33 PM
in the end everything will be fine and those who panic too much about fees that are too high certainly don't have a strong stance to stay with Bitcoin. if the costs get higher I just stop and observe until the costs return to normal. DCA certainly doesn't have to always be on time, also looking at the condition of the Bitcoin network. if it's too expensive then collect it and buy it when it gets better.
I don't think it has anything to do with panic or anything. It's something very clear, fees are very high and they are affecting almost everyone not just people who panic because of small things. Even if I'm a very big Bitcoin believer and I never panic, I would also be affected because of high fees if I make transactions regularly whether it's because I'm DCAing or for any other reason. It might be possible for some to delay their purchases or transactions, but that's not what everyone can do.

Do you think that the entire Bitcoin community can simply hold their assets and make no transactions at all? That's not possible and it's never going to happen. However, those who DCA using centralized exchanges, can simply buy some USDT inside the exchange using P2P trades and then buy with that money and keep it within the exchange until things start to normalize.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 22, 2023, 05:03:05 AM
BCCI, made cricket into a profitable than ever before and they spot the right time frame April and May which is the summer Holidays throughout the India. It doesn't mean there is no international matches in that time period and even the next year England players may not be available to play IPL and that is why Englishmen went unsold in the Auction.
Only Australian or English Players can afford to avoid IPL because they earn enough from there respective boards. For every other country player, now IPL is priority over national task. You may say there is very little cricket during IPL as most players are busy in IPL. Cricket in WI suffered alot because the board is not giving much funds to players and that's why they prefer playing leagues.
Right, I think the income of West Indies players (who's played IPL) from IPL will be several times more than the income of their national cricket board because if i'm not wrong West Indies cricket board isn’t enough rich to paid decent amount of salary to their players, on the other hand IPL is the most expensive franchise and it’s a dream for every cricketers, many players from this WI board are sold in IPL every season, they're highly focused here because of huge money. Sunil Narine retired from international level game only to play in IPL i think, he clearly said to cricket board, he's no interested to play an international match.
As above-mentioned by someone now things are going more professional in cricket like we have in Soccer, Rugby and Basketball so just because of this IPL vs all others going to happen with these are early days of these franchise system in cricket and many countries are entering but still IPL is having big advantage of Indian population and market which is giving them huge advantage no other league is near them which is also good for them and their stakeholders if we have things like these surely many players will try to stay with these franchise and will have no hesitation to say goodbye to national teams like we have De Cock situation and many others are also following and most chances in other countries will also have problem like this with there is no alternative to stop this all as Boards are not having facilities for the players like this franchise.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do you find new tokens before they blow up. on: December 21, 2023, 02:39:42 PM
You have to be careful, my friend. People will always tell you their wins but never tell you their losses. So, the first thing you should do when someone tells you a certain gem will do 10x, 20x, 100x or more, go out and do your own research on the coin.

What you should probably be looking out for is the team behind the gem. Are they doxxed? What experience do they have in the crypto space? What they're building, is it feasible? Is it marketable? Does it solve a particular need for a large section of people?

These are some of the questions you'll want to ask yourself before apeing into just any token.
I agree with that. In the crypto space, especially in social media, people will barely share their losses or discuss them, but you will always see them posting screenshots of their wins and profits, pretending to be experts in the market, and such people will also be seen providing suggestions and recommendations to new investors while they are in loss themselves. So, these kinds of suggestions from such people should never be taken seriously and one should do their research if they find a project to be interesting.

A lot of new investors make the mistake of investing their hard-earned money in gems that are suggested by someone who has no idea about the market at all. And newbies, just because they've seen some gems gaining value, think that it is the ultimate shortcut to richness and they can earn a lot of money by investing in them.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is digital currency powerful? on: December 20, 2023, 01:22:41 AM
Moreover, digital currency is more profitable than fiat currency because digital currency cannot be controlled by itself, which makes it stronger.
More profitable than fiat currencies? I don't think fiat currencies are profitable and they are not to gain profits, cryptocurrencies are different because they are volatile because they have limited supplies and more demand which makes them grow in value over time. Cryptocurrencies are more like assets than currencies which is why.

Fiat currency is controlled by the government, which makes it not very profitable, but digital currency cannot be controlled by the government.
I don't the control has a lot to do with that. Fiat currencies in general are not used that way, they don't gain value if people start demanding for more because they are not bought and sold like cryptocurrencies but they are used for trades like you give money to someone to buy a product from them and vice versa.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still appreciates the price of Bitcoin if it hasn't be your history price on: December 19, 2023, 07:09:46 PM
This varies from one person to another. Some will see that the profit they get at the price of 70K$ for Bitcoin will be very good, while others will see that they should wait until they achieve at least 100K$, and others are greedy for more than that.

Therefore, this issue remains relative and relates to the personal conviction of each person. There are those who prefer to reap profits early at any height, while others wait for the crop to mature more than that and obtain the highest price to achieve the greatest profit.
We haven't reached $100k yet, so you need to replace the amounts in your example. However $70k is higher than what we have last time, so it is called an ATH. Who won't be happy with that price anyway? For sure, many are going to sell as that is already guaranteed than waiting for the $100k and later price which we don't know if it will happen for real. Even if it let say it's possible, that'll still take time to occur. Besides, we can still buy back again at the dip.

A profit is still a profit, no matter how small it is. It's is obviously fine to sell at that point than to sell at a loss or even if we are still break even. If it's about the BTC performance only. We need to appreciate whatever movements it was making because I'm sure BTC always tries its best.
376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 19, 2023, 06:38:30 PM
You are right many newbies came in to trading because it's seems so simple, or youtubers influencers made it so simple and make  huge profits.
Like they make videos where they say like this "see here we drawn a support line, from here to price will take support" and people see it and think oh wow this is trading? it's simple.
there is more to learn in trading, and we need to learn a lot to be profitable, or to not lose more.
All the professional and experienced traders that we see are also once a newbie and I think for once, they also have that " get-rich " mindset. That's normal for us people, and this is the reason why there are those influencers who talk about it, because they also knew that this is on the people's minds. They only fuel things up, especially if they are promoting something.

There are still people who won't easily believe on what they see, especially if it's already too good to be true. Indeed that trading is not easy as buying and selling, but I think drawing a support line is not a basic thing in trading. I don't even know how it work or look like, lol.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 18, 2023, 07:44:41 PM
First of all my favourites for this draw to reach the quarter finals are like these:

- Copenhagen - Manchester City
- Leipzig - Real Madrid
- Lazio - Bayern Munich
- PSG - Real Sociedad
- Inter - Atletico Madrid
- PSV - Dortmund
- Porto - Arsenal
- Napoli - Barcelona

I'm really satisfied with Copenhagen's having the toughest matchup in the round.  Grin  Because we couldn't advance to this round and they did instead of us. I must admit that it was our fault in our last game against them but still it makes me happy to see the end of the road for Copenhagen already now.

I'm only having second thoughts about my Inter pick. Because despite being really strong they are facing another strong team in this round. Atletico Madrid are much better in the Champions League this season so this could be an interesting draw.
We have draw of knock-out round and things are looking very interesting because we have no match which create early thrill now mostly big teams will head for the last eight where things could be more entertaining in March Madness after draw everyone is giving his predictions, and I am also going to have same but from this list I have just one different team which can go through for the next round all other teams I like for the promotion.

For the Match of Barcelona vs Napoli I have feeling here Napoli can give better than Barcelona even still anything can happen and prediction is not easy both teams are struggling and have no consistency, but Napoli is much better and can go through against Barcelona which is surely down in confidence and quality as well for the remaining matches of this season.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 18, 2023, 06:11:09 PM
finishing Group H without losing and having such a big goal difference? Seriously, thats pretty cool. In my opinion, Xabi Alonso is leading the team magnificently. Their stability is impressive, both in Europe and in the Bundesliga. Especially impressive to me have been their games against Bayern Munich. You can tell they're a strong team because they dont just beat easy teams. Im pretty sure they'll make it to the knockout rounds. Personally, Im excited to see how Leverkusen handles the pressure when they play better teams. Watching them play is exciting because I know they can go far, maybe even to the semi-finals.
There are only two teams that have been completely unbeaten since the European League first started, that is Leverkusen and Atalanta, However, in the local league, Atalanta's performance is not that good, they are in 8th place in the Serie A standings.  While Leverkusen, their performance in the European League and also the local league is really brilliant, Xabi Alonso has really succeeded in building a great team, even though Leverkusen only has not many star players.  facing molde a few days ago, leverkusen really performed fiercely, well i'm sure this season leverkusen will come out as champions of the european league, their performance can no longer be doubted.
Atlanta is unpredictable team which is having bad time in Serie A, but their performance in Europa League is impressive so any prediction about them is surely not easy, but Bayer Leverkusen is surely one of the best team in Bundesliga which is leading the league table as well, so things are looking impressive for them, and we can expect good performance from them in coming rounds as well which will watchful for the soccer fans.

After draw things are looking much settled even we have few matches which are unpredictable, but few teams can go through as they have enough experience and quality for staying in for the top spots Feyenoord vs AS Roma is surely matched of this round from here any team can win as both are doing good in their leagues as well.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: December 18, 2023, 04:44:32 PM
A gambler need to know mechanics, have knowledge, skills, strategies and discipline before start gambling in any specific game where luck effect less.
You simply mean to say that a person should focus more on sports betting because it's part of gambling where luck has less or I should say much less influence on the results and it's the knowledge, experience, and understanding of the game that can make a person win in the long run. If you are a gambler who plays gambling games and is expecting to earn money from it, you are wrong because you can't achieve your goals where you are trying.

A person who has been following a certain sport since childhood and has a keen interest in it can easily start betting on the matches that they are confident about, and if they have knowledge and experience which is combined with some research and analysis, they can always have more wins than losses.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 17, 2023, 07:09:11 PM
Yeah I'm not that interested in watching the games I bet on, even when it's my own favorite team. I think that when I watch it and the game doesn't go as expected, I worry that it will ruin my mood during the game.
Each of us has our own preferences, so just follow what you think is good for you, and just don't mind the others if they are doing it differently. But if let say you didn't place a bet for a while, will you now have the courage to watch the games going on, especially if you are very familiar on the team that are playing, like it was your favourite? I think many (if not all) are going to do it. Not only it's fun and exciting but it can also act like a support for them and we can also cheer to them, especially if we are watching live inside a stadium. To feel upset during a bad moment is always there. You can't prevent that because we are only human. But, I guess the feeling won't be as bad as when we placed a bet.

So instead of feeling disturbed, it's better for me to avoid watching the match and use that time to play slots or other activities.
When you play slots and do similar activities, won't it still ruin your mood, when things didn't go well? Better if you use your time on something that you can benefit really well.
