561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opinion Piece. Please share your Opinion on Crypto trading Questions on: September 14, 2023, 05:34:10 PM
From the responses I got, most persons trade Bitcoin and altcoins but mentioned that they are comfortable trading Bitcoin and avoid altcoins because of their high volatility. As for trading strategies, they use more than one trading strategies. Also to be able to make informed decision, most of the traders use a combination of both technical and fundamental analysis. I'm terms.of trading platform, the most preferred is from the majority of responses is the centralized exchanges. Interesting. Thanks to everyone who responded.
Yes, Bitcoin is known as that but there are times that Bitcoins becomes stable while altcoins are now the ones who move up and down, so it's not also wrong if we can add altcoins as a back up so that we can continuously print money. Two is better than one as they say, so it's also better to have more than one strategy. I guess that is because the market is changing from time to time. It is unexpected so it's important to have a back up strategy, just like what we do earlier or to have a back up crypto once something bad happen to the first one that we are using.

When it comes to analysis, I think it was technical is the favorite of the traders, but it's not wrong to include fundamental if we think we can benefit on it as well. As for the type of exchange, that's right, many prefer CEX even though it requires KYC. I guess that's because it can do a lot of things, or it's also much easier to navigate on it than the DEX.
562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 13, 2023, 08:36:50 PM
Maguire and Evans are too slow and they will be dead points in Manchester United defense system when facing with young and very speedy attacking players of Bayern Munich. Hope that Manchester United will not use both central defenders in the match.
Given how poorly Harry Maguire is performing for the team, I'm confident that Manchester United won't use either of their central defenders despite the losses he has caused them. In the Premier League, whenever he has played, the team has either lose or draw; now that we're talking about the Champions League, how can we expect the team to use Harry Maguire? If care is not taken, the team will continue to lose games this season if they don't move him to another club. However, with the majority of their players injured, I believe the team won't make any errors and won't lose any games. It's time for Maguire to depart from the team; West Ham should have continued to pursue his signing because Manchester United won't be able to see this much longer.
Harry Maguire days are numbered at the Manchester United as Ten haq is trying his best for offloading him but sadly luxurious contract is having big problem for them no other club is going to give salary like this which is surely problem but most chances he is going to sit on bench this season and with early notes in next season we will have him in any other club which could be good for him and Manchester United as well because they need realistic for the better results and needs to have better players with strong performance.

In next match as Manchester United is going to visit Allianz Arena it's going to be tough job for them with now their attack is also much stronger than past in presence of Harry Kane which is having first season out of Tottenham after 14 years looking for his first trophy in any league.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If they have the ability why would they sell? on: September 13, 2023, 03:55:55 PM
My common sense is asking me why will they create such group if they know how to be pro traders already? Like why can't they keep this to themselves and keep making their money? Why are they trying to help and getting subscribers in return? Just my own common sense like I've said. What do you have to tell me?
Or they do it for free right? Yes so. If their motive is to help people in trading better and make profit so why do they charge fees and to make matters clear that they are only going after the money, they also have different version of packages that you can register with them like their could be premium subscription, VIP, VVIP on the group. They are just traders who couldn't sustain the heat of loses and they are after hitting back on the market through subscription.
Their motive is clear to those who have understood the market and have seen such groups and people for quite some time, but those who are new in the market and are just starting their journey with cryptocurrencies will tend to believe what they say and think that they are following the signals of the most expert people in the industry because their signals are always good and right and whatever, they don't realize that they are actually trapped for money.

People running such groups tend to make people fall for their tactics by only showing the results of the trades that became successful and ignoring and removing the ones that failed so that people don't understand that what these signal providers are doing can be done by themselves without having to pay them.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Stabilize Bitcoin on: September 13, 2023, 02:56:41 PM
The dollar is not a stable, is it?
No, it isn't. You can check currency pairs in Forex trading and see how the dollar fluctuates against other currencies it's paired with.
Is it the dollar that fluctuates against other currencies or is it the other currencies that keep losing and gaining value when paired with the dollar? However, you are right that Bitcoin's stability will most probably make the market become too stagnant and there will barely be people willing to buy or keep Bitcoins then. I know that it offers a lot of use cases and it's not just its value that makes it great, but most people don't see that and they are here just because of the price.

I'm pretty sure that Bitcoin wouldn't have reached this height if it wasn't for the volatility, people started getting interested because they saw it's price going up significantly, and investors started diverting their investments towards Bitcoin for better gains, and that is how it has reached where it is today, make it stable and it goes back to point zero again.
565  Economy / Gambling / Re: Concept of Halal Casino on: September 12, 2023, 06:09:23 PM
Haram is haram. There is no other excuse. Taking interest in return for the money lent is not allowed. No matter what Sharia bank or Islami bank calls it. Most of them call it as service charge, or whatever, it's haram. I am Muslim myself and I know it's Haram. If some bullies me because of that, I will take that. In case they can teach me something new.

If someone open a bar a of vodka in the name of Islam, it won't become halam vodka. If people say Bismillah before they drink vodka, it won't become a halal drink. Real practicing Muslims won't debate regarding these things. They will say I said what I had to. No need to spread Fitna.
You are right, I am also a Muslim and taking interest is forbidden in Islam according to Sharia. Some scholars argue that Islamic banks are halal. How can this be, I don't believe it, well, how is Islami Bank surviving? Of course, they receive interest on loans. According to some scholars, some people consider it halal to earn interest by keeping money in Islamic banks. Islamic banks, however, give interest on a certain amount of money. Islami bank is haram even if it is named according to Shariah.
A Shariah-compliant bank doesn't issue interest-based loans to its customers, because as you said, taking interest is prohibited in Islam. If a bank calls themselves to be Shariah-compliant and is still dealing in interest through loans,, they are big liars, and someone who practices religion and doesn't want to get involved should never use such a bank or take a loan from them because it is not just about the words but it is all about the actions that are taken.

So, someone who follows Islam religion and also want to take a loan from a bank, they need to make sure that they find a bank that gives them an interest-free loan where once they repay the whole amount, they are free from the loan and would not be asked to pay anything extra on top of that.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are created for unemployment purpose on: September 12, 2023, 05:38:31 AM
We can see how traditional banking has helped in creating employment. Many people are employed in the banks. The banks and their employees are paying taxes.

I read this today: CBDCs will gradually displace private banks, says Russian lawmaker

It is about a Russian lawmaker that believes CBDCs will gradually displace fiat and traditional banking.
I wonder if people will actually accept CBDCs and abandon traditional banking services. A digital currency won't just be able to provide all the services that a person expects to get from a traditional bank and this will surely create hurdles in the way of the central banks of different countries one more hurdle for them will be Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because people would rather use a decentralized cryptocurrency than using a centralized digital currency.

So, this doesn't seem possible to me for now, it might happen in the future but we never know. It is just like the case with AI where people are expecting that AI will soon start replacing humans and takeover their jobs in the future and a lot of people are worried because of that thinking they will lose their jobs.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 11, 2023, 05:48:30 PM
Copenhagen is not a strong team, Maybe they have good performances in their own countries against the other weak teams but in the Champions League, everything changes and a team like Copenhagen cannot have too much chance against other teams like Manchester United however Manchester United is currently not in the good from with can give Copenhagen and other teams better chance but I think the only tea in this group which is in the same level with Copenhagen is Galatasaray.
Copenhagen is surely having good team but right now difference of quality is widening between many leagues as well which is surely creating problems for the many top class teams which are having good record into their own leagues but still right now most chances we have no positive result for the Copenhagen in this group because they are going to face all three toughest teams which are having much better performance from them and their players are also doing good job after start of this new season.

Bayern Munich is surely can give them tough lesson in both league matches with they have good chance against other teams at home but still this could be not enough for them to go into next round or have any chance for the Europa League as well.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: September 11, 2023, 05:08:30 PM
I usually Invest a very small amount of bitcoin to another coin because I know this time is very crucial to invest in any new coin or even in an old coin.
Any suggestion from your side which is good for long term

You don't have to think twice mate because while you are in bitcoin then you'll be safe  but if you insist to add some funds in different altcoins then les talk about it here.

Ethereum the first in the list ..

   > Binance of course never left behind before it pumped after the cases they are facing.

   > Polygon  as this is a silent but revealing coin once the Pump happens .

try to maximize your altcoin because bitcoin halving is near to proceed mate .
I'm not really sure about Polygon since I don't follow any updates regarding it or watch its charts and stuff, but I would also agree with ETH and BNB being good additions to one's portfolio alongside Bitcoin. Ethereum because it is the second-largest cryptocurrency in the market and it has got the trust of the community. There will obviously be a lot of people investing a big portion of their capital in ETH when the bull run is around the corner.

And, BNB because it has been doing great since the day it was launched, I know that Binance has been facing some issues lately, but if it manages to get out of those situations and maintain the trust of the community, BNB will definitely be one of the best performers in the market during the bull run.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: what a surprise dip on: September 11, 2023, 04:23:52 PM
There is another good advice to avoid losing money. You should always invest only the amount that you do not need in an emergency, i.e. your spare money that you are prepared to forget about for a long time. If you invest money that you need, but you think you will get a quick profit, then this idea will fail.
Actually you are on point because their one thing I understand in cryptocurrency investment, with what I'm seeing in cryptocurrency I believe that bitcoin have it's ways to follow, so I believe that bitcoin having it way doesn't mean that investing in bitcoin you should use all your savings to invest in bitcoin, this is a cryptocurrency and it's a virtual money and during the investment anything can happen you might end up in losing or gaining, so therefore I do encourage new investors who has not gather much experience in cryptocurrency investment to use their spare money for their investment.
Well, one might not lose their investment if they have invested in Bitcoin even if the market crashes but their investment will surely lose value and they won't be able to sell their assets back to cash it out because it will be in loss and one would obviously not want to sell them at a loss. This is the main reason why it is not recommended to use money that you might need urgently since once they get stuck, it might take years for them to release.

Those who invest money that they don't need anytime soon can always wait for them to get profitable even if it takes 2 years or more because we know that a bear market sometimes takes a lot of time. In the current cycle, it took around 2 years or maybe more before we could see some recovery.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How was your first Bitcoin experience? on: September 10, 2023, 04:18:24 PM
It's been quite some time since I earned my first Bitcoin. It's the result of my efforts in crypto, as well as here on Bitcointalk. Around 2017, I invested my Bitcoin into a specific currency because I believe it will be successful in the long run. The idea was really promising, and I conducted some research, but sadly, the project turned out to be a fraud. That was the first and last time of having Bitcoin. I learned a lot from it, and I'm still hope to return there soon.
These so-called "promising" projects are always taking people's hard-earned money by giving them hopes of great returns in the long or short run and people think that they've got themselves into something amazing and their life is going to become easier after they make this investment while in reality, they are working for their own future instead of their investors and soon enough when they got enough money, they will disappear like thin air.

However, we've all been there and have been victims of such things when we first got into Bitcoin because we didn't have enough knowledge and understanding of how things work and to be honest, at some point as a newbie or a beginner, we used to think that it is easy to earn a lot of money through Bitcoin.
571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a life by Day Trading on: September 10, 2023, 03:44:41 PM
Yes there are difficulties in the beginning of every work but our hard work and passion help us to overcome these difficulties quickly. Trading is not as easy as we think. Our small mistake can lead to big loss for us. One should not enter this field without skills and experience. You are right that we should face all difficulties with perseverance and courage. Cryptocurrency market has both pros and cons and we should keep both in mind while trading. Sometimes our analysis may turn out to be wrong, but we must persevere and never panic. Of course, all experienced traders who trade the market may have faced many difficulties in the beginning, but their hard work and dedication made them a successful trader. Experience and knowledge increases with time.

At start nobody can analyse the market so they actually take decision by following the signals provided to them by experts. Sometimes with a single jerk person forget the benefits and left trading but they should be familiar that acceptance of such sudden jerk will make them strong.

But one thing is understandable that if precious time is given to trading and learn it well then one day a time will come when you will teach trading to others because newbies always turns into experts after facing adversities.
I don't understand why someone would need to make an investment and start trading if they can't do market analysis. What's the hurry? People should simply start learning first so that they can be able to analyze the market and decide when they should make their trades instead of following someone else's signals which aren't always reliable and one might lose a substantial amount from their initial capital and even if they don't, it's still not recommended.

A person who is willing to earn a living through trading and cryptocurrencies should obviously never get into it before they learn everything from A to Z so that they don't get confused at any point during their trading journey and they can manage everything efficiently and without any problems at all.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are telegram bots for trade worth it? on: September 10, 2023, 01:40:40 PM
Ive tried once to use a trading bot, honestly I observed the trades and not so impressive in my opinion. There are cases that the market is obvious already to go down and yet still opening up a long position. Though the bot I tried is for future trading just to test if its gonna be a passive trades but seriously I could do much better than the bot Ive tried out.
Maybe the strategy that the trading bot is using is not updated anymore? Because as we can see it is working against the market. Or it was simply a poor strategy that are injected to it? Well, majority of them are like that especially if it's only a free one but if it's a paid one, be sure to check for feedbacks first before availing or better if they can offer some kind of a free trial to see if it's worth the money.

There must be a trading bot that we can program on our own or we can insert a strategy on it. You better choose a trading bot like that if you think your strategy is good enough and if you want to make trading a passive activity because trading bots are the ones that will trade for your 24/7.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 10, 2023, 05:51:58 AM
Actually, in La Liga, Rea Sociedad is also not a small club and has sometimes given good surprises. It's just a matter of how Real Madrid can optimize its performance again or not. But usually, Real Madrid will be superior to this club. If you look at Head 2 Head, Real Madrid clearly won more. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Atletico vs Valencia, I believe Atletico Madrid should not experience high obstacles. Valencia didn't start the season very well. They are still inconsistent and sometimes cannot optimize their chances. Here, Atletico Madrid might still be able to gain more advantages than Valencia.

Meanwhile at UC, you could say that Lazio is tougher than Berlin. However, no one can guarantee that because sometimes German clubs can also provide quite strong surprises in the Champions League. But of course, which club can handle more, the results will be more optimal.
Real Sociedad is one of the promising clubs with having reputation for staying at the top of the league table and their performance is also mostly we organized which helps them for keeping in-touch with top ranked clubs this match could be not easy for the Real Madrid even they are playing at home and have enough chances with their performance is also at the best after having all 12 points form first three games.

Atlético Madrid is having impressive start with Valencia is having poor start even first two wins were good but now things coming on normal with 2 defeats are surely not good for them with now having fifth round game against Atlético Madrid which is currently one of the best team for better results and staying at the top ranks for few more weeks.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: September 09, 2023, 06:09:25 PM
Speculating for a limited time may be very understandable because it's like just playing around, but I agree that if it reaches the desired price threshold, immediately release it.Maybe there are already many colleagues who have provided suggestions and opinions about meme coins that are not suitable for investment.because the risks involved are quite large and the experience that has occurred is very much that meme coins are confirmed to be scams. The bull market also won't affect the meme coin; only a small part of it can, and that's because of the hype that's still going on.
Meme coin most of the time are riding with the bull season, whales and manipulators are using the sentiment to attract new traders and investors, with flowing investment those people who are not careful in investing or riding with the project especially with meme asset are prone to losing their money, you need to have a good glance at how you project the potential and what are the sign that you will going to use, a kind of patterns that will give you the hint when to sell and leave the project.
Memecoins don't really ride only with the bull run, they generally just go up significantly when the community hypes them and they get a lot of investment from newbie investors who are greedy and don't know much about the market and how cryptocurrencies generally work and they think that they can get rich quickly with cryptocurrencies and memecoins use that as an opportunity to get as many investors as possible because that gives them a lot of money.

And memecoins generally start losing value right after the hype is over and they barely manage to go up after that because the lifespan of memecoins is not that much but most people don't understand this and they still invest in every single memecoin that they hear about from social media or anywhere.
575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions dealing on: September 09, 2023, 05:06:53 PM
Emotions is a weapon used against traders causing them to move out of a trade untimely which may eventually cost them loss.

How to avoid emotions:
  • set up  a TP(take profit) and SL(stop loss) for your trades
  • Stay away from the particular trade
  • Get in some activity that will keep you busy
  • Do your hubby activities at that moment
  • set up hours interval to check your trade
  • watch tvs and Go for walk Smiley

Note:Some of these might not be applicable if you are into scalping.
Trading is pure math. Emotions have nothing to do here
I don't think it's pure math as your trades can actually be different based on your emotions and mental condition. You won't be able to make the right decisions and make the correct trades if you are mentally unstable and vice versa. So, you can't say that emotions have nothing to do here, It's emotions that make someone panic and sell their assets, and it's also emotions that make someone FOMO and buy a token at a very wrong time and lose their investment or a part of it.

Your emotions can always make the best of what you do and it can also ruin everything, so emotions play a great role in anything that you do in life. Those who have control over their emotions will usually get success in whatever they do while others will have to face a lot of failures in life.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope is all I have left on: September 09, 2023, 03:51:53 AM
If you invest in bitcoin and don't expect it to increase in price, why would you invest in bitcoin? I see nothing wrong with people pinning their hopes on bitcoin's price going up, but what we need to do is not set our goals too high. Don't be too delusional but be realistic so things will become easier.

Bitcoin reaching 1 million USD is not easy but it does not mean impossible. When bitcoin was worth less than $1, no one believed that it would not reach $1000, and when it was worth $1 thousand, no one believed that it would touch $69 thousand. With bitcoin nothing is impossible and everything is possible.
You said yourself that one shouldn't be delusional and only have realistic and logical expectations when it comes to the price of Bitcoin, so I don't really think that thinking that the price of Bitcoin will reach $1m very soon isn't delusional because no matter how high it goes, it will obviously take a lot of cycles and a lot of years to be able to reach that mark if it ever does, or it might not even happen in our lifetime and our children might be able to see that happen.

However, you are right that someone who invests in cryptocurrency will obviously expect its price to go up because that is the basic motive of someone investing their money, they want to earn money with their investments and if the market doesn't go up, it basically wouldn't make any sense.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin Dumps $578K in MakerDAO Tokens on: September 08, 2023, 06:19:23 AM
Vitalik buterin is on an spree to dump everything he finds useless in near future. He dumped shiba Inu, a lot of Ethereum and now makerDAO.
He might be donating some part of it to the cause he believe in but he's also preparing for the next bull run, keeping everything that would make him a multi billionaire on next bull. It's his personal choice and his decisions should not be taken as an investment strategy but it's wise to find out what the experts are doing. Ethereum is clogged enough and won't move. He might also be working silently for a completely new blockchain.
So he thinks ETH is useless because why he is dumping it? But, that's odd because ETH is his own creation. Oh well, he is not Satoshi but he is like any other greedy developers who mostly care about the money more than everything. About donating, I think this is true, but if I'm not mistaken, he directly donated ETH.

Vitalik can also be considered as an expert because he invented the second biggest crypto and copying the strategy that he is making is not a problem. It was actually a good strategy, selling your useless cryptos before they dump hard and use the money on a much better coin. ETH is clogged and so as Bitcoin because we are still in the bear. ETH have undergone a lot of tweaks but it is seem hard to change it drastically so their decision of making a new blockchain can be a better solution to help solve the existing issues here in crypto.
578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 07, 2023, 08:29:01 PM
Different social media offering this kind of group giving "free signals" for everyone but take care on this because sometimes it could be a price manipulation to the coin they ready entry and just giving hype and wait for the ATH to make a sell or make a huge pressure of selling in the market most likely it happens to the other exchange and also another thing make sure only learnings and take care to the links given by the people in the community the chance of getting hack is high on this thing.
I don't usually find them in a social media site but there are popular in messaging apps like Telegram because communicating there is easy. The one that the @OP is talking about is still different from the common ones that we see because this one here says " signals from the wolf street " so it was like a VIP signal and unlikely free. If it's a signal about a coin that we are not familiar with, it can be indeed a manipulation.

We should refrain from following it because we can get trapped. Even if it's a signal from a legit coin, it won't still give us a guarantee that they are accurate, so we must be careful or much better to just do an analysis on our own. There is also a risk on clicking links like you said, so we need to check the URL first if it's correctly spelled before we login or connect our wallet, if it's required.
579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: September 06, 2023, 03:25:21 PM
That's precisely why it's termed 'prediction'—there's no assurance that the anticipated price will materialize. Due to its inherent volatility, the market is undeniably unpredictable. Relying solely on experts' predictions could prove detrimental to your future in cryptocurrencies investing. From my observations, many predictions made by experts turn out to be inaccurate. This is a major reason why numerous individuals experience losses in their investments, often due to blind adherence.

Consider that the market is capable of alternating between bear and bull phases, each with distinct durations. Thus, confining predictions to specific timeframes might prove misguided, as the timing of various market conditions remains uncertain.

The ongoing situation illustrates this—while we might classify the market as currently bearish, can we confidently assert that it will shift to a bullish state in the coming year? The answer is unknown. Consequently, the wisest approach might involve venturing into the realm of personal predictions and hoping for success. The simplest strategy often boils down to purchasing at lower prices and adopting a 'buy and hold' approach.
Well, that's pretty accurate. It is almost impossible for anyone to time the market perfectly, no matter how much of an expert a person is, they can always be wrong about a certain prediction they might make or have made about the market since the market is extremely volatile and is totally unpredictable. This is the basic reason why it is not really easy to earn profits in the cryptocurrency market which a lot of newbies think is as easy as drinking water.

However, those who study the market very closely and gain a lot of knowledge and information and also have enough experience manage to at least make a close estimate and make their trades based on that. If one thinks they can't do that, the simple approach of buying low and selling high is best for them as you suggested.
580  Economy / Economics / Re: Is market manipulation a common occurrence everywhere? on: September 06, 2023, 09:36:04 AM
Everyone wields different powers when it comes to business. Some say that cryptocurrency prices can be manipulated by wealthy individuals. Despite being decentralized, it seems that price movements can be controlled by specific entities.

So, in your opinion, can everything related to money in this world be manipulated? For instance, do you believe that the value of the USD or the largest stock market in the US can be manipulated by a few individuals?

What kind of people are capable of market manipulation?
As you might have heard, they say money is power, so someone who has a lot of it has a lot of power and this power works almost everywhere and on everything, so financial sectors are no exception. When someone has a lot of money, they can buy a very large amount of anything they want to manipulate in the market, they then can play with the price by creating price walls of their choice for either buying or selling that particular item no matter what it is.

When it comes to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, imagine someone has acquired a million Bitcoins, and he has put 200k Bitcoins on sale at the price of $25,000. Now, the market will either need to wait for their coins to be sold completely or place their sell orders below that price, and that is how the price starts decreasing as people won't wait and will start selling lower.
