1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 13, 2022, 10:13:22 AM
With every sports injuries happens. With tennis quite often we can see players taking long rest. With the young players, they have got more years to show their ability to the world. Even at the very young age they've got into the leading position. I find Medvedev, Felix Augur, Tsitsipas, Alcaraz to be taking the lead on the table for a long.
Few decades back we have no big prize money like this just because of these players were doing hard job and having good money, and they love to achieve titles as much they can but recently due to big prize money and not good dedication for prestigious titles players are taking too much rest and having fitness problems as well.

Jimmy Connors hold the world record for most titles in tennis history, and he retired from tennis around 26 years back so with this now most chances no one going to break his record only Roger Federer reach new to him, and now we have only two players in action which are near to him but as their fitness and age factor are having impact on them most chances they could be not going to close this record.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 12, 2022, 08:19:50 PM
Neither one is more important than the other, if there is no bear market, how can we buy bitcoin at low prices? If there was only a bull market where the price just went up and never went down then no one would sell their bitcoin and no one would be able to buy BTC. A market cannot exist without either one of these factors, in order for the market to be formed and exist, they need volatility.

Personally, I like the bear market, because the bear market is a time for us to clean up the market, remove the weak, unnecessary things and only real projects will survive. This is something the bull market cannot do.
That is true and this cycle of bull bear bull bear bull bear, has to continue because it would actually make sense to keep growing and making profit, then going down and buying again to profit later on and keep repeating that, it would be so much profitable for people who would buy from the lows, and sell from the highs and I know that not that many people do it right now but the reality is that buying at the bottom and selling at the top and repeating that would make you super wealthy within just a few years, and even in a year if you have some money and also come in at the right moment. It is very very important and we should be happy that we get bear markets.
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: At last, Twitter wins the battle!! on: October 12, 2022, 06:14:10 AM
Let's hope there will be good changes once he acquires it.
2 of my accounts are gone and one of them was changed to a lady owner. I don't know what happened to it so I just trashed it to avoid more problems.
Freedom of speech is good but security must be higher. No to freedom to hack or the freedom to close accounts just because the owner wants him down or the other person's opinion is not in agreement with his.
The better part that I see is if he reconstructs it with cryptocurrencies injected with it.
It's clear that one of your accounts gets hacked but you should report it and see if the twitter team will recover it. You can also include your other account when you report. Don't just ignore the problem and let the hackers won because they will be more motivated to do the same thing again especially if more users are going to respond the same as you.

Let's assume that they will improve Twitter overall not just its security because there are a lot of flaws from the previous versions of Twitter. Adding cryptos on the platform is also a good idea other than the crypto topics that we see there. This will make Twitter more crypto-oriented versus to other social media sites.
1304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with a business mindset on: October 12, 2022, 01:00:31 AM
Mindset matters a lot in trading just as it matters in other things. also understanding and having a business mindset towards trading can also help. just like business you make profits and then you also lose in trading and new traders should understand and not bite themselves about this or make their losing discourage them from wanting to keep trading thinking that older traders never lose but always gain.

Everyone experiences losses and the new traders need to recognise and understand this. The only difference is that the older traders know how to manage their losses something that the new traders need to learn, just like business people who manage situations.
I think mindset is a general word. It's how one thinks so you will still need to specify if what mindset is needed in your description but it seems you are talking about a positive mindset there because we are giving advises here and not someone to teach them a bad way to trade. Trading can be considered as a business because we can earn profit out of it so yeah we need to develop a business mindset when if we are dealing with it.

Losing is a part of every business but there are people who can't help it but to quit because they lose a big portion of their money. This is why it's better to start small first on every business we venture.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 12, 2022, 12:40:51 AM
You bring an important point, why Qatar wanted to host the world cup? Even if they see an increase on the people visiting their country this is going to be temporary at best, and if anything due to all the controversy regarding alcohol and other activities this may discourage people from visiting their country, so the only explanation I find is that they simply wanted to do this regardless of any economic benefit it could bring them, which is why they did everything they could to convince the top executives of FIFA with everything they got.
Here in this case mostly inner politics have his best role as Qatar has chance to host this event with the help of big players in these sports organizations and no one able to stop this all because money power is surely having the biggest impact.

We all know how FIFA is working, and we all know how many corruption cases already against their members are also highlighted, but nothing positive happen so most chances we are going to have no positive change in Qatar policies even after this event because they all know without giving any relaxation in policies they can do things which are important for them and media houses and human rights associations are also not able to have any strict policy against them.
The horrible thing is that the higher ups of these nations will continue to live a life of ease, there is nothing illegal for them, they can do whatever they want, mainly the men of these nations because they control the whole power, and they can leave the nation and go do whatever they want in other nations or even secretly do whatever they want in their own nations.

They will whitewash the nation from all the horribleness in the eyes of the west with these organizations and let everyone do whatever they want, making a look like they are a good nation to everyone. Then when everyone is gone, the poor of these nations will be treated like they are slaves, and will be a horrible life for all of them.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: October 11, 2022, 12:18:22 PM
I think the earlier holders are not necessarily the most successful, especially if the main goal is not long-term investment for posterity, because they may have increased several times and have not been able to hold it anymore and choose to sell it. until finally they now wish if for example sold at this time.
I think what you mean is prosperity not posterity because its meaning seems to be far from what we are talking here. Not all early hodlers are investing for prosperity but they are only using their btc as a regular currency though I think they still have something left for them so we can say that they have gained some profits but not too much when compared to those who are seriously investing for the long term.

those who are successful are those who are able to have prior knowledge, so they can take advantage of the bearish and bullish seasons well.
We all have our definitions of success and the first type of btc user that I said earlier can also be considered to be successful. They do have a knowledge because they didn't doubt btc on its early days. They research and knew that it was legal and very useful.
1307  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: October 10, 2022, 08:41:20 PM
If you greed for more, then definitely you will miss the best price to buy.
If you are able to buy the coins at around 22k usd, the consider yourself lucky, as no better price can come for Bitcoins if you exclude this.
So it’s advised, buy as many coins as you can, and hold it for long term.
Then definitely after 2-3 months you will see massive profits in your wallet.
This is my suggestion only, now think and analyse and invest accordingly.
Those which are always hoping for the price of bitcoin to go down a little bit more before they buy are the ones which rarely do so.

At hearth they are afraid to make a mistake and buy bitcoin when its price is too high, so they hide behind this pretense they are waiting for the price of bitcoin to go any lower to buy it to hide their indecision, the current price of bitcoin is a great entry point and most of those which refuse to take advantage of it will regret it in the future.
There are so many people who say "I wish I bought bitcoin when it was lower" when the price reaches the peak, and when it is at the bottom like right now, they are nowhere to be found. This is the price they talked about, if they buy right now that means they are going to end up with a good result in the long run but they won't and that’s the trouble.

We should be buying right now when the price goes down, and right now it’s the bottom and they should be buying and we would be profiting at the end. Price will eventually go up again, I do not see a scenario where it would be staying low forever, as we all know bitcoin will go up, and that’s the importance.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 10, 2022, 08:02:09 PM
There are no favorites in this match and of course both have a chance to win, but for me a draw is a very possible result. Because Fiorentina when playing at home so far have never lost and so has Lazio, when Lazio play away so far they have never lost. That way, at least they are still quite good and have a balanced quality or at least not much different so yes, apart from both of them having a chance to win I am personally more confident for the final result to be a draw.
I also have feeling about this match is going to be drawn, but Lazio is looking better side instead of Fiorentina which is clearly indicating they can go through as they have done eight months back here on same ground against same opponent with the score of 0 - 3 because recently we have big decline in Fiorentina, and they are not capable of facing top rank teams with positive result.

In last three matches, Lazio having very good performance as they won their all matches with clean sheets and doing a good number of goals which is surely a big advantage for them because their defense is like rock which is not allowing anyone to go through until dead end and their attack is also doing job which is surely pride for any team so here things are not easy for home team to stop them from having the best result for themselves.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the safest bet for 3X to 5X return? on: October 09, 2022, 07:19:00 PM
probably on that average for 2 years it would be bitcoin that can guarantee a good return IMO. indeed it's been how many times trying to break the current ATH in the last bull run so it's expected to improve more in the future..

When it comes solana i don't have trust because they're stuck up till now and seems keep losing interest from big investors. So its quite skeptical to trust especially in the long long run.
Only bitcoin alone? What about solana and ethereum? All of them are actually good for long term especially eth as the merge has already done. People are expecting a big growth from its price. For solana, it is stuck because we are still in a bear market and as you can see, other coins are also on the same situation but wait till the bear ends and you will see that they will race towards their new all time high.

BTC is definitely going to be the first on this race and then followed by eth. Can't say if sol will be the third because there are similar projects who are like sol but one thing is for sure and that is sol will show a significant increase.
1310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading indicators on: October 08, 2022, 05:50:59 PM
What's the top 3 trading indicators you are using
RSI, Volume and EMA are my top 3 indicators. I've been using those since I started to learn about trading and became my bread and butter during my newbie days to make some money to it. For me, there is no need to use many and complicated indicators. As long as you are able to do trading profitably, basic indicatos are already enough. It's also less stressful because your judgement will not be mess up by multiple indicators.
The three indicators you listed are very popular and I think that is because they are the most easiest and perfect for those who are getting started in trading but once you feel that you are used to them, you might also want to try out other indicators and see if they what benefits they can bring. Who knows? Maybe they work better than the previous one.

Hard indicators won't be hard for no reason and maybe they are truly more rewarding? It was like those "more risk more reward" stuff's. Learning hard and risky things will make you grow you as a better person and once you accomplished them, you will view other things more easily.
1311  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best cold wallet for BTC storage? on: October 08, 2022, 12:34:41 PM
Hi, I'm kinda new to this whole Bitcoin thing, but I heard it was big and wanted in, so I signed up for Coinbase and bought about $1500 worth.
Then I was reading up and read that I shouldn't store my coins on exchanges because if they're hacked you could lose everything.
I heard that hardware wallets are the way to prevent that... but what would be the best one?
All I really need is for it to be functional and have Bitcoin support.
I heard that Trezor or Ledger hardware wallets are pretty good... but what do you guys think?
You sound like a typical newbie who quickly get in after hearing that btc can make them a millionaire but anyway coinbase has a lot of users so their security is kinda robust and maybe they offer some kind of refund in case problem can occur and users lost their funds but what you are planning there is also great.

It's always better to be safe than sorry. Not only hacks can happen but coinbase itself can restrict their costumer from using their funds just like a bank so it's better if we transfer the coins to the wallet that we fully control. It doesn't really need to be a hardware wallet but there are online wallets too like electrum which you can use for free.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: October 07, 2022, 03:20:44 PM
Looks like Betis did it by the end of the game and put Roma in a difficult position as they only have 3 points...

A pretty good comeback from Betis in this match and a big loss for Roma because apart from losing Zaniolo also certainly won't be able to play for the next match because of the red card received in this match.
Betis play with high dominance and it's not wrong I chose them when the odds were 4.00 Grin
With this result Betis are comfortably at the top of the group stage standings and Roma have to settle for 3rd position even though the chance for them is still very big.
A big disappointment for the defending champions as they lost this match and now having third spot in their group even they have fair chance for going into next round but still they need to bring some improvement in their quality if they want to have better results in their matches with mostly feeling in this season Roma is trying to go into top four in Italian league which their main target.

So, they are not doing their best for this cup but as they are losing matches they can lose their chance for going into top four as well because right now things are no going good for them, they are allowing their opponents for having attack on them but in Italian League they have good chance for going to top four specially after win against Inter in Serie A game.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: October 06, 2022, 02:38:12 PM
When the market is red like now, I prefer to invest in new projects, and one project that I support today is Metavault, I have done an analysis that I think is worthy of our investment in metavault, I say that a new project certainly takes time for profit Big, so we have to be patient waiting for the developer update and roadmap.
To be honest with the current conditions isn't it risky to invest in a new project,
but actually it depends on the new project because not everything is like that,
if you have done research and analysis at least we know the detailed information
It is risky to invest into a new project even on the best of times because you do not know what's going to happen. However, some people do it anyway, not with all their money (maybe there are a few who do) but probably a small portion of their investment portfolio. Why they do that? Because if they are wrong then they lose a small portion of their portfolio and bitcoin growing bigger would cover that loss anyway.

However, if they are right, then a brand new project could make them as much as 10x profit and it would be the best investment that they made. I dislike taking that risk myself, but I understand the logic behind it and how it could be profitable.
1314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: Watchout for 30% decline in Bitcoin price, according to this indi on: October 06, 2022, 03:29:12 AM
We failed in the recovery from the June low but fell back to some level of support seen at Sept start and recently about 18.4k, there is a slight trend up but its not nearly as regular and structured as the initial trend up out of June lows.   So BTC is weak but I wouldnt assume we must go downwards, plenty of times previous sideways has been enough as after all many major 'rich' FIAT currencies are registering inflation into double digits per year.  A nominal price for BTC that stays flat then is actually already adjusting down steadily, a hidden but steady decline is a boring prediction to make.
The highest in June was 30.xxk and the lowest was 17.xxk. I don't know if after it we never saw 30k again but the price didn't stayed at 17k. Btc have done some recoveries which is still happier for me. That also shows that btc is not weak. Weak is when the coins shows no signs of life and most of all never stayed in this market for a very a long year.

A suspected 30 percent decline seem to be big already and if it happens on this price ranges we have now then maybe we can see another bottom within this year. Thanks for this warning anyway @OP. People are surely going to prepare a decent funds for this since this may be the last bottom before the bull starts.
1315  Other / Archival / Re: Q4 2022. What to expect from bitcoin? on: October 05, 2022, 05:48:32 PM
In some parts of 2022, we have seen some recoveries or greens but mostly we haven't broken 25k and above. I don't know if that is a sign that this whole year was a bear year. Also in some years the price can start positive but eventually it will go negative up until the last quarter so there's a possibility that it will happen again.

Mega pump for me is when the coins breaks their old ATH while 50 to 60k can only be said as a good recovery since btc already experience this level before. The price of 30k and 35k per btc is also not bad. At least some us can sell their btc to celebrate their holidays a little better while I don't expect the price to drop 17.6k anymore.
1316  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells state banks to prepare for a massive dollar dump on: October 05, 2022, 05:12:53 PM
Depends on the goal, short term it could be a good plan but we don't know what's going to be the result of it in the future. It's hard to guess and time what will happen to the economy of China but with what they've been doing, my opinion is that they're really trying to be on top of everything in the next couple years. China is still one of the huge source for most products and labor, they've got the manufacturers inside them and that's one factor that they can sustain themselves and if they do a massive dump for the dollar, it's okay because they're trying to be unreliant to it.
That's easy. We can just follow the news related to it and then we must watch the movement of the currency. If it's slowly going down followed by some negative news then we may need to sell before the decline continues. Local currencies like that are I think not really great in terms of investing, I mean they don't always pump like what we have here in cryptos which have a bear and bull cycles.

The country of China are known to strive hard only to become the best among the rest. They have a mindset similar to Russia which thinks they are too powerful. No wonder why they are dumping the dollar to make their own currency strong.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum switch from PoW to PoS on: October 05, 2022, 03:14:51 PM
a few weeks after the merger was completed ETH continued to hold at the price of $1300 and there was no increase after the merger event the price continued to fall, is it because mining costs are cheaper and generates a lot of income so people prefer to throw away for short profits, glad ETH has succeeded with incorporating it into the new POS system and it will make it even better and great in the future
I think it's called merge not merger and also the price only increase before the said event have happened but after it, that is the start of the fall though one of the reasons of the decrease could be related to mining. Not only the price of ethereum have decline but the price of the gpu's are said to decline hard as well.

This must be a good opportunity to accumulate them because their values might increase again sooner or later. The transition from proof of work to proof of stake is a success but many people feel disappointed, that it looks like ethereum have failed them but let's hope you are right that the merge can make ethereum even better than before.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the safest bet for 3X to 5X return? on: October 04, 2022, 05:21:30 PM
You can play dice and bet on a x3 game and can triple your $40k in less than a second. Your chance to win will be somewhere between 30% - 33% depending on the casino you are playing on. The best thing is, you won't have to wait at all. It will only take a second. (probably less)

If you invest in those coins (btc, eth, solana etc), you might have to wait months, years, maybe decades and still not get your 300% profit.

Time is money, friend.
I already lost my previous 3 bitcoins in bustabit lol. Not again. I rather wait, with some certainty... better than a 50% 50% chance.
Dunno if he just misunderstood it when you say "safest bet" or it was only just a joke but I don't think so because there is no smileys in his post and his tone seems to be like he mean it but you just said "safest" and gambling is obviously not safe but its the most riskiest way of making a money. The only advantage it can give to you is that you can instantly multiply your money but that is if you got lucky. It's still not recommended though.

It would be better if will just sacrifice some time to wait because that is more surer. We don't know what are running in the mind of cryptos. Maybe they can just pump hard one day. This is the good thing about them. They are full of surprises.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 04, 2022, 09:44:42 AM
Third and last T20I match between India and South Africa will be played today, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. The news from Indian camp is that they are going to rest both Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. And for India, this is the last T20 match before the world cup starts on 16th October. India is placed in Group1, along with South Africa, Pakistan and Bangladesh. They will be looking for a better performance this time, after the debacle they had last time (they failed to advance to the knockout stage in 2021).
Virat Kohli is slowly getting back to his form and to avoid unwanted injury these two might've been given rest. Placed on the Group 1 and it is to play its first match against Pakistan after the warm-up matches against Australia and New Zealand. This time matches will be so close, because every team in the group is with some advantages over the other. Small mistakes will decide the result of the matches.
After Asia Cup performance there were hopes Virat Kohli is going to be good in home matches against Australia and South Africa, but expectations are not fulfilled with this now again he is in limelight for his future in this format for me T20 World cup which is going to play in Australia after few days is going to be vital for his future because if he is able to perform better than surely he is going to stay in Indian team for all formats otherwise his days are numbered because fans are now thinking negative about him, and he needs to play without any pressure which is important for his career and teams fortune which is already having two setbacks with Jaspirat Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja and now if he fails then surely they could be in threat and this is not acceptable for fans at home.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 04, 2022, 08:14:36 AM
Leicester finally found the win they needed after many weeks. This was their first win in the season and it was a really solid one. This 4-0 win over Nottingham was the game they were the best in defense so far. Because their main problem has been related to the weakness of their defense so this win might help them improve their performance as of now. I know that they played against another poor team of the league. But I still don't want to underestimate this win for them. They need to keep up a good work to get themselves out of the relegation zone.
Even they are still the worst team in defense with conceding most goals in first seven games of this season, but positive thing happen to them now after break they are able to have first won with first clean sheet of this season which is surely a positive development for them and now next week they are going to face another worst side in away match Bournemouth where they can do some more positive because they are better team and just looking for something positive which give them good motivation, and now they can do better in coming matches Maddison is doing good job with two goals and one assist Vardy is now completely out of touch for long time which is surely a matter of concern for them as he is one of the best product for them in last many years.
