361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Augur - a decentralized prediction market platform on: March 23, 2016, 08:03:49 AM
I'm not sure that the bitbet (https://bitbet.us/browse/) is visually more attractive than augur. But augur need need to focus theirs loading speed. And i did not find sorting IN CATEGORY like sports, politics.. and bets sum

You are absolutely right, it should at least LOAD FAST and have CATEGORIES...

@Community: Please state your opinion, I am not bashing Augur I am trying to find out what the community thinks about the beta.

Again if the majority thinks this is absolutely fine, I will stop posting, but so far the people that posted here are also not so enthusiastic about the beta.

The augur team needs to know this, so they can make a choise on how to go further.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL [IOTA ]- ICO 2 -Do YOU want to buy IOTA at a reasonable price? OR BIG SCAM? on: March 22, 2016, 03:54:40 PM
Let's examine the bigger picture for everyone on the board.

Aye. majority of your poll thinks that the ICO is ok as it is.

also nobody has voted for 2 yet that will put their name to the vote - obviously all iota holders.

You make no sense at all...

I'm sorry you don't understand

option 2 - if you vote option 2 your are meant to comment on the thread that you voted option 2. That is because the poll is not there for iota holders to vote that they think it's good for people to buy their iota for 3000% mark up.It is only iota holders voting for option 2 because they don't want to leave their name on the thread.

Does that help?

You are all over the place. Your logic is flawed, unless you have clairvoyant capabilities to know who is voting what.

The team has seen this thread and the feedback is being considered, it's just much easier for us to funnel feedback via select channels so please give us time to evaluate the feedback as development takes time.

What upsets me the most is the ambivalence regarding the design of the Augur team.

Are you realy not capable to see the website is total rubbish? Realy?

Sentences like: bla bla feedback considered bla bla, bla bla easier for us, bla bla take time are evasive behaviour.

I am telling you like it is, this is not good enough for the budget you have (or did you already blew it?). It looks like it cost 50 bucks and my mother in law made it (color sceme), and she has never worked on a computer before!

2 Questions for the Augur team:
Do you honestly think this site, as it is now, is one of the best multi million dollar gambling/ prediction sites on the internet? Yes or No (Please anwer this for the record, your community who invested millions in this project deserve to know don't you think?)

And what would you grade your site: from 1 (low score) to 10 (high score). This is not about what other people think but what YOU think.

For the record, this design would not have passed the first year at any art academy.

Please be honest to yourselves and the people that invested in your project.
People that are saying it looks great (in this thread there are zero) are blowing smoke up your ...

I realy hope for everyones sake this gets fixed or this project will be DOA.

To other Augur investors, please state your opinion positive or negative.
https://augur.net/markets

ps. @augurteam: could you reply a bit faster, 2 days..., not only your website is lagging ... (What's up with these enormous loading dots anyway?)
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - is it shaping up to be a HUGE SCAM?? let's take a closer look on: March 21, 2016, 09:22:57 PM
There was a thread in the altcoin marketplace section where IOTA has been sold. Everyone was free to participate. If you missed the train then it is your fault.

No please reread the thread.

Unregulated ico with zero transparency is 100% open to manipulation to scams and abuse. Onus should be on ICO's to mass market it make it at least a little harder to totally game the entire minting for themselves. Else risk being branded a manipulated scam.

What if i took it to the extreme....listed it on the small market place for 5 mins and told nobody. I could say the same thing you did. All free to participate and purchase. What you didn't know about it ...your fault.

There needs to be reasonable marketing done and effort to ensure opportunity wide as possible distribution to avoid it being totally open to manipulation. Define reasonable. Ok well as other ICO's are doing. Anyway I've done the comparison to other big ones eth, nem, maid, lisk, ... iota lacking to all of those. Therefore not reasonable enough. Therefore very open to manipulation and gaming.

POW is may more fair and observable. If you will run an ICO with no POW make effort to mass  market and give max opportunity else risk being deemed a scam. Simple.

If we had heard nothing on the main board about IOTa and it went to exchanges and no mass pump efforts just moving according to actual acheivement it would appear less of a scam. However since it is being held captive and now the pumping starts on the main board (which they never used before) whilst strangling supply we can safely assume scam. The onus is on them to persuade otherwise. Let's see how much longer it is kept from the free market and how much pumping is attempted whilst it's still kept locked down.

Strangle supply and pump demand....yep bubble time. That is what they want before the pop it all over everyone and move to nxt3

Dude What are you rambling about? And who made you the godfather of crypto ico etiquette?
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Augur - a decentralized prediction market platform on: March 21, 2016, 08:03:51 PM
If the Augur team is not going to crank it up a notch and listen to constructive critisism it will be worth ZERO satoshi.

Augur wants to compete with a billion dollar gambling industry? Realy? With  only 150! predictionmarkets it is lagging like the is no tomorrow.

Dream on guys, this is going nowhere fast.

Every investor that is thinking this is going to work: a lagging, 1990 design style, website at not even 1% of the capacity needed is dreaming.

What will happen with 100.000 - 1.000.000 markets?

Dream on guys, keep talking about the non existing marketprice.

i guess you wanna buy cheap REP , me to , but it is still just the beginning of augur , maybe the big changes are coming in time

No, I have bought rep at ico. I am just looking for honest opinions about the augur website.
Do you think the website is good enough?
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prism is a SCAM on: March 21, 2016, 05:01:08 PM
They will use escrow after the ico ends. (post launch escrow WTF)

This  strategy is  to SCAM more btc. They confuse users into thinking that the escrow will safeguard their btc NOW.

But at the end of the ICO (or sooner i hope) they will just leave this forum with your money.

This legendary member is involved. PM him please, i have already done.

miffman https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=83038

I see. Thanks Rick.

I prefer you set up such as 150% bonus till your BTC reach to 250BTC or alike. thought?

btw, miffman nor anyone has assigned officially yet, right?

miffman will be in charge of post launch escrow if everything goes as planned, we're still in last steps of defining this.

I can confirm. I will post here if/when everything is settled. Smiley

I also don't understand why miffman would get involved in this...

Because you didn't invest in profitable projects doesn't make it a scams.
The crypto ecosystem we are in is still in a experimental stadium.
Some project work, some don't but we learn and create 2.0, 3.0 etc.

My main interest is keeping up with the tech and what can be achieved, and I am also not against making some money.
Nxt early investors are millionairs, good for them, stop whining about it. If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.

whining...butthurt...sour grapes....jelly belly....

the three most common phrases used to describe anyone who questions the validity/legitimacy of a coin distributed only to 0.001% of the board whilst being touted as fair distribution.

372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 21, 2016, 01:49:21 PM

Maybe Lisk TEAM Have A plan: when it available on exchange, example first price 7000 sats and it go down to 3k sats and down to 200 sats and dump dump and dump, when the price is so fuckin low, example 1 sats, there is 50 M Lisk wall only 50M sats The team buy those cheap LISK they have 14080 BTC so the price will fuckin pump and the Lisk on market decreased. and Lisk so fuckin expensive and when it's price go up Team will Dump it(maybe) :v and repeat

You mean going the ETH path!  Cool

This is how it will be done as it always is done with all coins that have a big #pump.

What has supply to do with anything > 21 million supply 400 dollar a piece?
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 21, 2016, 12:43:30 PM
The fund from ICO can be use for list LISK to Exchanger: Poloniex(best richest trader place) bittrex,China market, kraken, ETC, So trader of Lisk distributed and it will be avoid DU Fuckin Mp

With this kind of money (13000BTC! 18000BTC) they should build the Decentralised LISKEXCHANGE!

Cutting out the centralised middleman!

377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 21, 2016, 12:20:22 PM
Can somone explain me what was the advantage if i was buying this during the ico?

you get to lose 60% of the value of your purchase after they dump the coin and line their pockets and the smart people buy it dirt cheap

It's quite simple. When some great useable dapps get created the price will go to 100.000 sat easy. Ethereum is at 10, 20 times more and delivered nothing yet.

Lisk could put Ethereum out of business if they play their cards right, invest a lot of cash in the networdk and killer dapps! VHS - Betamax

Are you blind?
This coin is a SCAM, since the first day.

Ha-ha, loser, missed ICO?  Smiley

You would think so, but how is that possible?
