She wasn't trying to explain, promote, endorse Bitcoin. She was trying to make people laugh. Normal people. Millions of normal people who think all of us are weird nerds. This is hilarious. This shows why ICOs are total bullshit.
People think ICO means: 'tons and tons of free money'. Even ICOs for less noble causes like actual business think ICOs are an endless source of free money that never has to be paid back. In contrast, a legitimate IPO on the stock market includes the notion the company will work hard to increase value and return money to investors. But an ICO is a system where 10s of millions of dollars arrive over night and you never have to do anything to return the money. FREE MONEY, FREE MONEY!!!
The thinking on ICO is totally corrupt. This is why they will never return money. They don't even pretend like they will return money. That is why Berkeley is doing an ICO for homeless. They don't even pretend like it is an investment that has to yield a return. Rather, they simply think ICO is a huge source of endless free money.
ICOs are fucked. Don't treat them like investment because as Andreas said: 99.9999% are shit and will never return a penny.
Guys - this Berkeley ICO is a dirty scam. It is even more dirty than the homeless guys it is trying to help.

Investors start to make sales at the point where they see huge profits. We see the same move on all stock exchange platforms. There was a ripple after the gains were made. Now we are approaching the period of continuous and rapid increase again.
The Whales are jumping back in for big profits while all the guys that sold in the panic are now totally broke and can't get back in for even half of what they had in January. The rich get richer. |

I think that Ethereum has a very good chance of shifting BTC from the leadership of the crypto market, but that will not happen this year. The earliest next year I think. Will already happen by June. Probably earier |
