361  Economy / Services / Looking for someone to code a login system for my faucet on: November 05, 2016, 05:28:20 AM
Hello Bitcointalk,

I don't have much time right now to work on projects, so I'm hiring someone to code a login system for my faucet. It can be custom, or if someone could refer me to an open source script, that would be great as well.

My faucet has a custom theme I'd like to preserve if possible, or keep some aspects of the theme. The login system should have an ability to save user balance until they hit the withdraw limit.

PM me with your price.

Neat site, glad you're giving out some free bitcoins for people to test your site!

Username: Superhit3ch

One of my suggestions would to make the text that shows your balance bigger, so it's easier to keep track of. Good luck!

I assume by the context of OP's post he is talking about sports betting.

To understand the main terms, you don't need any books, just do a quick google search. The easiest thing to bet on is ML or moneyline, which is which team will win in the end.

However, to gain the skill of sports betting, you just have to practice betting and research before every game. Eventually, you will be good at spotting potential upsets or obvious wins. There are books that you can read, but I'd say to practice betting with small amounts first, then getting big.

It also helps if you are interested in watching sports. Good luck!
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Gambling Sites on: November 04, 2016, 03:04:37 AM
lose or profit is depends on the players getting win or lose
of course invest in gambling site is so risky
if whales come and they win big you will get lose with your investement your money will decreased

While this is somewhat true, I wouldn't say that it is "so risky". While whales might be able to take all your money, eventually you will gain it all back due to the house edge. The main worry is not whales, but exploits in the site that let people take money without any consequence.

As long as you choose a secure, well trusted site it should be fine.
How much money do you want to invest?

While I mainly agree with you here, investing with larger amounts of bitcoin is usually a good way of investing into such sites- I have had experience with amounts of less than 0.01 BTC disappearing in less than a week due to whales(don't invest tiny amounts). It's s not completely foolproof, and it's relatively slow profit, but by no means should you invest all of your bitcoin into a casino.

That's true, it's better to invest bigger amounts, but if you only have a small amount to spare, investing in a small bankroll site does work, as smaller sites will probably have less whales or none at all.

When moneypot.com just started, I invested 0.01 when it had a small bankroll, and I gained a decent profit considering I only invested 0.01, hence investing small amounts in small bankroll sites does work, at least in my experience.

On the other hand you should be definetly sure that it is a real casino and not just a Ponzi scheme website. I mean you can still make some profit even on a Ponzi scheme website, but you will probably lose much more. And this is a really big disadvantage of smaller sites. You usually can never know :/

Very true, but even if they do run with your money, you will only lose a small amount.

One strategy to invest is to look for already established sites who have recently decided to open a crowd funded bankroll, or when the owner of a well known site decides to open a new one.

I the future, you can check if the site is down for everyone or just you by using http://www.isitdownrightnow.com.

I just checked and it is up and reachable, try using a different browser or device.

Here you go ...

https://directbet.eu/Events.cshtml?EventType=Politics

hillary being fucked by her own vileness and Russian funding for Trump.Though i think hillary will win.

there isn't the option "Trump" as winner for the election, or I am missing something?

I think one of the best book for this type of betting it's betfair.com , one of the largest bet market.

Yes there is, there is currently an option for betting on Trump as the next president.

However, it is a bit weird as they offer an option on betting on the gender of the next president, but they only offer betting on the next president being female, not male. Either way, it should be the same, just bet directly on the candidates.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in on a Hillary win bet on: November 04, 2016, 02:39:29 AM
I originally intended to bet on Trump, but I think that now after the debates and his recent comments, Hillary winning is much more likely. In this thread, I noticed a lot of people believe that Trump will win; I thought this as well, but as the election went on, his chances went lower. Not to mention the media doesn't like Trump. I don't think the election will be rigged against Trump or anything like that, but it's pretty clear that most of the media supports Hillary, which can affect voters.

I would bet on Hillary, but definitely not all in. It's never a good idea to go all in when betting, no matter what you bet on.
368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anyone heard about bit-scores.com ? on: November 03, 2016, 04:45:04 AM
bit-scores.com looks like total SCAM and if you send some coins, it will be on you.

1. They have games only for after 3-4 days
2. When you click on any games, there are shown 100+ bets on every event. This looks totally fake - like all those doublers "payment proofs"
3. Totally wrong lines/odds

This is true, however it might not be a complete scam and just mistakes on their end. For example, they could be faking the amount of users to attract new users; it doesn't necessarily mean they won't pay out.

If you are worried OP, just bet at a more reputable sportsbook. The odds don't seem to have that much of a difference, at least not for all games.
369  Economy / Gambling / Re: can i have my own personal wallet in directbet.eu? on: November 03, 2016, 04:42:14 AM
Directbet.eu is a very good site, but if you don't want to use their direct bet feature, you might want to try out a new sports betting site as opposed to directbet if you're not using directbet's main feature. There are some sports betting sites that automatically create an account for you without needing an email.

Nothing against directbet, I really like their site and many of their features, however if you don't want to use their direct bets, you might as well use alternates as it is a lot easier and more like what you are looking for.
370  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hillary vs Trump betting: what are the best sites? on: November 03, 2016, 04:38:19 AM
The issue with Trump was that he basically insulted the majority of voters, especially Women. And also many immigrants and muslims. He really should of kept some comments to himself instead of posting all these insults on Twitter. It might of been entertaining from time to time however its what caused him to lose.

Yes, I believe that Trump would've won easily had he controlled his mouth a bit better, as a lot of people don't like Hillary and American citizens want something different; a successful businessman (as opposed to a politician) probably would've won.

I wanted to bet, but after the recent allegations against Trump, I believe that the odds are way against him right now.

All the well known sportsbetting sites have been listed already, but if you want to try something different, check out https://www.betmoose.com. You can bet on anything there, including politics!
371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Royalbitflip.com just went online! on: November 03, 2016, 04:31:56 AM
There are few things that you need to add on your gambling platform;
1. way to verify results which must be fair one predetermined by server seed.
2. anonymous account creation just like in primedice and user can have adding email as optional
3. try to make user friendly and resposive fronte end with very fast server (gamers don't like delays).
4. Autobet feature is in demand, think about that too
5. Instant deposit and withdraws are beauty of bitcoin casinos these days.

I think that most of these things will be implemented with time, remember that OP's site has just started. However, they are good suggestions, and should be taken in consideration in future.

I'd suggest a "free play" room, to test out the game, maybe with play credits or even a faucet. It's definitely a cool idea, just needs more players. Good luck!

better add Faucet and minimize the tax at first maybe increase it once got reputation from other users

I think the tax is fine where it is, but a faucet would be nice for sure. However, due to the PVP nature of this game, I don't think that a faucet would work very well, so maybe a "free play" room with free credits would be nice to test out the site.

375  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who is the best Bankroll among this sites and why? on: November 02, 2016, 04:37:04 PM
Primedice.com or Betking.io. Primedice never showed their bankroll but i think they have bigger bankroll than any other site.If you see the stats on dicesites.com most bitcoin wagered on primedice and i just saw their chat 2k+ online. So it's should be easy to think they got a big bankroll.Betking proved/Showed their bankroll in public.

Even if PrimeDice has a huge bankroll, they don't allow investments, so OP won't be able to invest in them. OP was asking for sites with a big bankroll to invest in.

Sometimes sites with a big bankroll aren't always the best to invest in if you have a smaller amount to invest. Make a call, and see which one fits the best.

A lot of games you have here; what are their prices?
378  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who is the best Bankroll among this sites and why? on: October 30, 2016, 05:04:08 AM
I would invest my money in moneypot if I was you. Like some else said in this thread, investing in a lower bankroll allows you to profit more during the swings. It can also mean you could lose more, but in the long run ofcourse you would be in the winning side.
Have you seen that post with table, showing bankroll investment comparison, which BetKing posted in this thread?
If you study it, you will see that MoneyPot investors recently suffered loses (same with SatoshiDice).
Currently the best option for investing is BetKing, CryptoGames and SafeDice.

Very true, however OP, if MoneyPot bankroll's starts to climb back up, I'd advise in investing in them as they've been around for a long time and are trustworthy.

Most of the trustworthy sites to invest in have already been listed, but you can also check out Just-Dice.com. They don't accept bitcoin investments, but if you are willing to trade your bitcoins into CLAM, they might be worth a shot.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: October 30, 2016, 04:56:36 AM
What is the definition of being good at gambling? I guess when you gain profits from it, right?
SO when you see that someone is claiming he is "good at dice" because he won some high bet or had series of lucky bets, what are your reaction?
Do you really believe than aomeone can be good at totally random based games?

There is no such thing as being "good at dice", whoever is betting is just lucky. No one can be good at luck based games without hacking or exploiting, just lucky.

However, if someone is good at poker or sports betting, that's what I would consider as "good at gambling", as you need skill for those games.
Yes, someone who is good at dice was very fortunate, because a dice game is very dependent on luck. Differences with sports betting and poker. Although luck also affect but we also have to have the skill to be able to play.
There's no strategy in a game on a luck based games, and your only way to win is when you will quit directly before you lose.. But that has a big implication in your life as you will no longer have the chance to gamble again which I believe dice is a very entertaining game.

Yes, that's what I stated. Dice should be played for fun.

True, luck can play a big factor. However, a good sports bettor will know which games to skip, and which games to play. Of course, he might be lucky and there might be a horrible upset, but if he has enough skill, he can remain in profit for a prolonged period of time. There are professional sports bettors in the world, such as Billy Walters.
