361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: August 07, 2023, 09:45:16 PM
Investing in altcoins that may not have future opportunities is very risky. Even a top altcoin like LUNA could be a Scam due to a developer error and FTX went bankrupt with its many scandals. I prefer to get into Ethereum because it is the king of altcoins and has definite growth over other altcoins which are not necessarily as good. Or the main investment is of course just Bitcoin, there is nothing better. For the long term, Bitcoin is highly recommended, we will see a halving occur and it will be a moment when Bitcoin experiences a significant increase like the previous halving.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: August 07, 2023, 09:35:41 PM
Greed also makes us lose everything. Small wins are the trigger, especially when you get the win at the start.

When we get the win at the beginning, that's where the desire to get the big win peaks where we keep increasing the number of bets many times over, running out of deposit balance again to continue chasing big wins. Indeed there are some people after doing this it is not in vain that they get big wins. However, from most of the gamblers that I met when doing this, it was precisely what happened that the wins never came and the money ran out without remainder.

It's good when we can't control our emotions when playing gambling, it would be better if you ask your friends to accompany you to play so someone will make you aware when you lose control.

Some people are just good at following their emotions and sometimes they are able to control themselves with the right timing.

While greed can make you lose money, greed can also be your friend and make you win a fortune.
I have no definite example for it but the majority of the big wins in a lottery I think is just pure luck and often times its a fortune they never could imagine. But the bets on sports betting I think are not pure luck but a combination of luck, greed, and skills.

Betting on sports can be done by predicting every player and club that is playing, maybe 50% luck 50% depending on the player's condition. I like to bet on sports, because I still have a chance to win even if I make a mistake in my prediction. Meanwhile, for bets such as slot gambling, it depends on luck alone. so don't be too greedy in everything, it's not good to have self-control.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: August 07, 2023, 09:32:19 PM
I started out dreaming of the huge Jackpot or the max wins that I might be getting and quickly realized that say 1% of people get that opportunity... the rest of the people are funding those wins.  Roll Eyes
It's okay to dream about winning the huge jackpot and there's nothing wrong with that. However, as you mentioned the chances of winning such a massive prize are incredibly small, possibly even less than 0.1% especially when many people are participating in the lottery but to be honest nothing is truly impossible, and who knows, one day you could be that lucky person to win the grand prize!

The odds are indeed very small, but those who get the jackpot are very, very lucky.
As long as I gamble, I have never gotten a jackpot, at least only a consolation prize, which of course is good enough. the higher the intensity of the game, the more chances to get the jackpot. Don't get too obsessed with jackpots, that's not good because it will only encourage us to do unhealthy gambling.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: August 07, 2023, 04:23:11 PM
People don't have statistics to play gamble and that is why some of the gambling enthusiasm do experience (shege in gambling... meaning much loses in a gambling) so it's good for gamblers to know a specific amount that should go out in their wallet weekly or monthly.

When you check the statistics of who is on constant gambling of different kind of gambling either casino, poker game and other gambling games, should check the funds that goes out of them monthly because of gambling and they funds they received in a month and annually in gambling if they are of the same amount.

If we planned our gambling bet we should not be going crazy after when we have not meet up our target in gambling, what i expected every gambler is to make table of how much should be spend in gambling and how much should go investment, because money we loses in gambling continuously if we gather it together it will sum up to start a little business. I'm say play gamble with experience, don't use all you have for casino gambling

     -    If you remember what most people say here who often give advice to those who gamble in the casino that "You should only gamble with the amount you can afford to lose" with advice like this not all gamblers have the same amount of money which we enter into gambling.

There are other rich people who will deposit large sums of money to make sure they gamble at the casino, and others who are not rich will only deposit a small amount for sure and there are others who will venture to grow the small amount of money they gamble with., you got what that means?
In gambling, most people suggest that you gamble with the amount of money you can afford to lose. But if a person is rich then he will have more money to gamble and he will want to try to win more bets within a short period of time. And those who are not rich, when they go to gamble, they gamble with the amount of money they have in various casino platforms. It is sure that a gambler always gambles with the intention of winning the bet but most of the time they lose the bet and go broke. Those who gamble with small amounts of money gamble with the goal of increasing their amount of money, but the lucky ones can only reach this goal. So for gambling, if a person wants to make more money with less money, he should gamble with experience. But most of the times depending on a person's gambling luck, very few people can turn small amount of money into big money.

Gambling with experience will not help one get lucky and win big prizes. it depends on how luck favors the gambler, if there is no luck there will be no profit. Someone who is rich with a lot of money also needs to think about how much maximum money is used for gambling, because that can cause losses as you say. Adjust gambling to the financial level, but regardless of the financial level, all must be managed properly. Gambling is not only a financial growth, but also just entertainment.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 07, 2023, 03:12:48 PM
It is true as you said that gambling platforms provide real benefits to the people such as taxes which can help cities to develop their regions as well as for health, etc. And as long as it's done right, gambling platforms can also be entertainment for the public to be able to get away from their busy lives for a while and that will improve the quality of life of people.
But of course besides the benefits, gambling can also be a disaster for society if it is not regulated properly. Therefore the government needs to be able to regulate gambling so that this will become a platform that truly benefits the community.
Everything that has advantages also has downsides, with the exception that everyone's proportion may be different and that taxes benefit the government rather than the general populace because they have used public funds for their own profit.
The government doesn't really have a voice in gambling, especially when it comes to regulating it. If you win at gambling, you won't ask the government to enforce regulations, so whether you win or lose, you have to accept the outcome. Just like you flipping a coin  you can not decide which side you get that how gambling is, Despite this, many people have benefited from gambling.

They benefit from gambling only when they are profitable and as a bookie it will always benefit. The government will not regulate in detail, but the government regulates gambling owners so that they get money from the taxes imposed. The tax will make gambling safer and not interfered with by the government. Winning or losing at gambling is commonplace, but make gambling a place to make continuous profits, there are times when gambling will be very detrimental.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 06, 2023, 10:43:28 PM
If it is were the old days when women were restricted I would have said that this is really true but things are advancing now and most of the country now women are now taking part in almost all the activities that were once reserve for men only and that also includes gambling habits too.

I agree that way back in earlier years, women are restricted to do what they wanted.  They are bound to be in the home taking good care of the kids.  But the current social development is different.  Women had gain equality and in major country is not restricted of the conservative belief anymore.  Women can now freely exercise their rights on entertainment and that includes gambling.  So I do not think that gambling is only for a guy thing anymore.  The world is changing and women are getting the right and freedom on different thing that they deserved .

Entering the modern era today, even someone who gambles will not see Gender to play. Everything is equalized, even all ages can play gambling without the need for KYC and without the need for a bank account because it uses crypto as payment. Online gambling has many variations and can be accessed from any device. A few days ago I saw teenagers starting to play slot gambling quite easily. But gambling is always synonymous with men and women's interest in gambling is not big enough. Maybe women prefer to do other things than gambling.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: August 06, 2023, 10:18:07 PM
In theory a minor should have no way to gamble, or at least do so for long, due to the KYC policies that casinos have in place, however we cannot deny that with the advancement of the technology and the knowledge kids have these days about it they could devise many ways to still verify their accounts and gamble for as long as they want, and while this is a weakness of online casinos in general I do not think there are many minors out there gambling at such an early age and going that far to keep gambling.

The minor should wait till they complete the age,In the mean time they can learn the cpyto currency. The gambling kyc can't be expected to complete easy, but in order to avoid of money laundering the central bank. The kids should learn using the old variation of strategy, then after the kyc they can start to earn more money easily from the gambling. So the online gambling can have an possibility of kids get into the online gambling using the fake KYC.Many people are ready to do fake KYC for poor money and it can be used by poor to get some money.

There are also many online gambling sites that do not care about KYC. They can be accessed by anyone and play very easily without any supervision from the authorities. It will not be easy to get money from the Casino even if you do KYC, it depends on how lucky you are when playing, so there is no guarantee. Online gambling is very varied and even beats traditional gambling. Gambling that combines with crypto is also currently popular because it is easy to make payments without a bank, without an account owner so it remains anonymous.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest Some Underrated potential altcoins for next bull run on: August 05, 2023, 06:19:16 PM
Do the selection of coins yourself, do not rely on someone who will bring you ready-made information about good investments on a platter. This is utopian reasoning of almost every crypto beginner. If you yourself can't understand what you need to invest in, then you also can't understand when it's right to lock in your profits from those coins you may be advised. Study the market, then start investing. Not the other way around.
Thats why i want suggestions. And this suggestions also helpful for Others People too as this forum is created to help people and go ahead together in this crypto world...

No forum will help you in investing in altcoins, only you can do it yourself. People invented the abbreviation DYOR for a reason. It completely captures the essence of your topic. If you want potential altcoins for the next bull run, then do your own research, no one will help you and voice promising altcoins. Such information is extremely valuable and if it is freely distributed on various forums, it immediately becomes trash. This applies to any advice on investing in a particular altcoin. In investing you have no helpers or friends, only your own head and your own analytics are your best friends in the crypto market.

To find out all that, it is necessary to learn about how to do research, so that they can find their own Altcoin and they trust it. Suggestions from other people are not justified, it will only be a reference. When someone suggests getting in on a particular altcoin, rest assured he or she has a hold on it first. Your own choice will be your own responsibility. The top altcoin potential won't be either. Remember that FTX is the top Altcoin and we all know in the end FTX has a criminal CEO who uses all investors money.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 05, 2023, 05:17:55 PM

Winning such a huge amount is one in a million chance and it rarely happens. It's hard to win that prize even if you got all the luck in the world so if ever you'll be given a chance, you have to be wise in spending because to be honest, no matter how big the prize that you might have, you could still lost everything in just a short time if you will not use the money wisely.
No matter how billions you may take, if you will allow everyone around you to abuse you and you will not manage your finances wisely, you will still end up losing everything.

So by doing management, it will overcome how to use the money so that it doesn't disappear in an instant. But withdrawing that amount of money on the gambling platform will require KYC as well as some conditions that may have to be met. Self-control also needs to be exercised so that you don't get involved in gambling as long as you don't enjoy the money. If the money has been withdrawn to a personal wallet or is in a savings account, then it is quite safe. You only need to set aside or allocate a certain amount of funds for gambling. It would be a wiser and better thing to do.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: August 04, 2023, 09:39:13 PM
~Snip
Not only in gambling, losing in anything in life is painful, whether it's a sports match that you are a part of, a competition that you were participating in, a gaming battle with a friend, or anything in general, when you win, you feel proud and happy, but when you lose, you feel remorse and sadness, but that is a part of our life and we will have to go through that throughout our lives until we die because there will always be challenges, sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.

When we talk about gambling, those who gamble to get profit would feel more remorse after losing because they see their source of earning money fading away, and those who gamble just for fun might not feel good if they lose but they won't have the same amount of remorse as the ones I mentioned above.
Because there are several known types of gamblers, of course there will be regrets among them. I agree that if they gamble for money then the regret of losing is far greater than those who gamble for fun. But really, it's hard to get gamblers to just gamble for the fun of it, unless they have a busy schedule throughout the week.

I regret losing not because I lost money, but only when I was still not satisfied enjoying the session I was playing. About winning and losing, it is a part of gambling that every gambler will experience.

Gambling for fun is just an activity to fill their free time and of course there will be no regrets when they lose, the funds they use are also limited. But it's different from someone who gambles to get the main profit or income. If they continue to hope for profit, they will become uncontrollable gamblers and eventually become addicts. there will be regret when you lose gambling and have spent a lot of money, it is no longer entertainment but will turn into hell that continues to haunt the gambler. Not having good control on gambling results in serious mental disorders. Gamble for fun, not to get crazy.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 04, 2023, 07:40:38 PM
~snip~All of us who gamble dream about some crazy big win, but... but... we need to be real here. Big wins happen, but not so often, and for sure not for every one of us.

Only those who are lucky can get big wins. But look how many players are competing for big wins. there are very few chances to win big. Someone who won $600k would have used the profits for the rest of their life. Just bet a few dollars and he won a $600k lottery, it's unbelievable but it's true. It's very rare for players to get that big. I hope he can enjoy his big win and not put it all back into gambling.
372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Crypto may go wrong for some people on: August 04, 2023, 07:19:13 PM
Which of the cryptocurrencies did your friend invest into that made him to loss the thousands of dollars? And your friend was thinking that crypto is a get quick rich scheme? The fault might come from the person that introduced him to the cryptocurrency Ecosystem, the person would have told him the risk involved. Investing in cryptocurrency is different from gambling. Investing in cryptocurrency is a long term plan while gambling is a short term and gambling is not an investment. Those who understand cryptocurrency do not loss in the investment because they know when to invest and when to sell their token.
Laziness has nothing to with cryptocurrency investment because it is not something you are struggling with. You only but and store them in your wallet so in what way laziness come to cryptocurrency?

Yes, there is no correlation between laziness and crypto, what should be the main focus is discipline in carrying out the strategy that has been made and not breaking it. Introducing the crypto ecosystem must also be correct, don't just give a successful example that everyone wants. But also provide examples of risks that could occur. Investment is a long term plan with a specified target price. whereas trading is taking advantage of every crypto price fluctuation to make quick profits. A distinction must be made between investment and trade. Crypto will be wrong for those who do not place according to their interests.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 04, 2023, 05:32:28 PM
Not really, that's because majority of the gambler are men, so you think gambling is a guy thing. Similar like working in engineering sector where majority are full of men. Do cheating or having sex is a guy thing? it look like it's, but obviously not.

Majority of women prefer to spend their money to skincare, vacation or night club, not in gambling.

There are also some women who like to gamble, it is based on everyone's preferences not because of gender entirely. mostly men who gamble because several studies show that men tend to have an impulsive attitude, while women tend to have a more careful attitude when making a decision and think about the consequences and risks for the long term. It is more than a concept of decision making that is different for men and women. The majority of women do spend a lot to beautify themselves and some are happy with their work.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 04, 2023, 03:10:00 PM
Gambling with your own money is very high risk then not to talk of borrowed funds, well I have one simple logic which I follow and that's everyone has their way to follow and that's why I feel throwing all these advice is not necessarily needed because the worst set of person to actually take your advice will be the addicted person.
It’s surprising to me when I see people talking loan to gamble, we all know gambling is risky, I can’t imagine myself going for a loan just because I want to gamble, seriously it those not worth it, the risk is too high. But people still take the loan just to gamble and no matter what you tell them, they will never listen to you, they always claim if you can’t take risk you will never be successful in life. When you keep on advising some addicted gamblers, they will stop associating themselves with you, because your advice will be like a disturbance to them, they won’t know that you are the one that really mean good to them, they will rather make friends that are addicted to gambling just like them, so that they will be motivated to gamble more.

Well and even I myself can't think about it, I mean I can't stop thinking that gamblers use money borrowed to make their gambling capital. Those who have once tried to decide to borrow to gamble, then that is the beginning of their downfall as a gambler who is also in debt there. Apart from that someone who is already in a period of addiction seems like they will justify any means to be able to realize their desire to gamble, as you said that they no longer care about the high risks that are in it. They will not realize that they have lost a lot there, and it is unlikely for them to be able to take advice from other people regarding their gambling, apart from that let them feel the bitterest thing that will make them curt not to do it again.

Their main goal is no longer to make a profit, but to satisfy their lust for gambling. Gambling makes them addicts to the game, hoping for a Jackpot that gambling sites never give. It is very ironic to know that gamblers are like this, they are just doing something wrong, borrowing money to gamble which will end in new problems. I don't know how to remind addicts like this, because they don't have the common sense to think about the impact of the loan.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2023, 11:37:16 PM
Weird question. Gambling is an ancient reliable and simple business, just like baking bread. Even if there is a total adoption, gambling will still be more popular than bitcoin, and I'm talking not only about investing in bitcoin (there are always much fewer investors than ordinary users), but about all areas of application in general.

that's simple fact that we all know about. so there's no discussion here. gambling will always prevail no matter what currency we have, fiat, crypto or other type of currency. gambling has been with the humankind ever since. currency may evolve into different types, but gambling will always be gambling. so there's no surprise to why gambling is more popular than bitcoin. btc is just one currency that they can use for this type of entertainment.

Comparing who is most fond of Bitcoin or gambling actually doesn't match. Bitcoin is a digital currency which, like Fiat, is used for transactions and gambling is where people place bets. Bitcoins will be used in crypto-enabled gambling as an optional payment from Fiat. it will be suitable if we compare trading instruments such as Futures and gambling, both of them use several opportunities to win.
376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even in escrow can get scammed :| on: August 03, 2023, 10:52:28 PM
What are you trying to buy?
Not only you can get scammed, but you may buy a hacked, stolen or illegal voucher, and then you will bear the legal responsibility, no matter how tempting the offer is, but the mucus is greater.
If I were you, I would prefer vouchers that you can buy from the store, I can buy it physically, take a picture of the voucher or the gift card and then it will be fine, but the guarantee does not work well in such cases, the seller must be reliable, otherwise do not try to buy.

Seeing how the seller's performance is, of course, you can be sure that he is trusted or not. If there are no recommendations or the seller is just a new person trying to become an escrow, is it mandatory to trust. Because many are stuck with fake escrows because they see the costs are quite low compared to others. Don't be tempted by low fees and maybe give some bonuses, because that could be an indication of a scam.
377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency to be used as an investment asset on: August 03, 2023, 10:26:03 PM
I think bitcoins is the only strong and first and foremost coins that ever existed which makes it a good pair for every other coins/token. This is the reason why every other coins follow it's price movement. From my point of view, every Cryptocurrency attached to bitcoins works in line with bitcoins price which means if you invest on bitcoins or other coins linked to bitcoins, one is to expect almost same result. Altcoins are not too bad but they are full  of risk and uncertainty as they can be rug pulled.

Need to look at what altcoins are holding, top altcoins like Ethereum would not be rug altcoins so that risk would not occur. But for a new altcoin project, of course it will be more at risk of a rug happening. Bitcoin is indeed the first coin that you have to hold, because it's important. With almost the same results, but Bitcoin determines everything so that when another bullish Bitcoin follows it, but in some cases sometimes Bitcoin is bullish and others are bearish.
378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: August 03, 2023, 12:21:45 PM
Good thing you mentioned Bitcoin as your focus so I want to tell you that you will not be making a wrong decision buying Bitcoin even as a beginner.

Bitcoin is very cheap now compared to where it will be in few months time. If you have been paying attention, you would have heard that Bitcoin halving is happening next year. Anytime that happens, Bitcoin always achieve a new all time high. So, if you have some money to invest, consider Bitcoin.

Buy bitcoin and hold it, it's good enough for beginners. However beginners should also consider that holding long term will not give instant income. If you want instant income, you need skills in several fields that you can promote on the Marketplace Service. You will be needed if your skills meet the criteria. or develop an account and become an active contributor in the forum, then it will be quite easy to earn from signature campaigns.
379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are getting innovative. on: August 02, 2023, 07:26:19 PM
Recently I witnessed an almost got scammed. I don't know how he got connected with the scammer but the scammer was trying to sell and NFT (300$) listed in binance. The scammer said it would generate 20$ per day or something. I heard many things but never heard a NFT can generate money.
Scammers will always try to be creative at all time just to lure you of your hard earn money, so it's left for you to always be at alert not to fall victim to it, because what scammers does is capitalize on people's greed, which is what I noticed about this statement given above, as how will someone sell an NFT that generate $20 daily for just $300, when he/she can just keep the NFT and generate that same $300 in just 15 days and more. Which is a clear sign that when something looks too good to be true, it's a sign it's likely to be a scam.

Yup that was my first though. But the person who was willing to buy the NFT was new to this. You can say inexperienced. That's why he came to us for help. We quietly figured it out and got saved.

I also bought some NFTs and they paid off at the start. Whoever holds it too long will only make a loss and sometimes it cannot be sold. Many NFTs are well known and they do have buyers up to hundreds of thousands of dollars just for the sake of NFTs. offering NFTs at unreasonable prices and without any marketing, that's something to watch out for. Because only successful NFTs are developed by well-known artists and have good development. Do not buy NFT through scammers who only copy images.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: August 02, 2023, 07:02:29 PM
I have mentioned multiple times in past here that people should be cautious with alt coins. If some coin has moved up like 100% or more in just 24 hours, it does not mean that you should also purchase the coin. You should first understand the reason behind prices moving up. Then, you should also analyze the benefits and demerits of the project.

One such option has come again in safemoon. The coin has pumped more than 100% when they reduced fees from 10% to 1%. Now new investors are rushing to invest in this coin. This is the situation when the past investors in the coin are like in 99% loss of their invested value. But greed make people loose all senses I think. If you are still thinking to invest in safemoon now, think twice.

By human nature people are attracted to high earnings potentials and are ready to risk their money for it. Some even lose more than they are capable of. The reality are hard learned by losing and there's no learning in altcoins. Missing out is another thing people regret about, so the best way is to take the middle path and invest small amount in multiple projects you believe could moon x10 or x100 in upcoming days. It's surely risky but there are some strategies to be on the safer side while trying not to miss on the hype though.

Better to miss the hype than get in and force yourself to follow it. it is very risky to follow an Altcoin that has high hype, while we still want to enter. There are lots of altcoins to choose from that can earn x10 or x100, but it depends on how the project works. It's hard to find projects that will actually be developed, most of the projects that appear are only controlled by scammers. invest some of the money you can afford to lose, who enters first will get profits and losses, no one can predict exactly.
