Definitely it is going to grow bigger this way. Steve needs our help though, we need to get together and find him a new liver if it goes like this lol. It is obvious that he has been drinking with the fellows for a while now and that is not going to be easy for him if he keeps this up, his future might be a little bleak if he keeps doing this. I hope that he realizes that he can't keep doing this until too old age.

Well, as brits you guys love to do it as much as possible, your life is spent on pubs depending on personality but some people do, but lets help Steve a bit to calm down time to time and not do it back to back too much lol. This is getting to a point where I feel like sportsbet.io is owned by a friend, or at least a friend works there. This is the utmost compliment I can ever make about any sportsbook in my life.
362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always hide your forum email address after registration. on: April 18, 2023, 03:36:30 AM
I'm not sure why this forum is specifically mentioned for hiding an email address when it's a thing everywhere on the internet. Just don't leave your email address public anywhere, it will almost certainly be misused in some way. The Bitcointalk forum is no special exception.
There are also bounty campaigns that collect email addresses, I believe that many of them have submitted their primary email address.

Even if you take care of all such things, "hacking" of the user base of a large service happens very often, so you can easily be overwhelmed by spam.
Well, services that collect email addresses can always use them for their benefits, they may even sell them to email marketers for money without your consent, or maybe with your consent since you might at some point agreed to their terms of service without even realizing what kind of rights you are giving them about your personal data.

That isn't only for bounty campaigns, but it's for every service that we use on the internet where we provide real and authentic personal information a lot of times. We don't realize what we are doing when we click on the "I agree" button given at the end of every registration page.
363  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 15, 2023, 04:48:11 PM
Even though the chance is low to get the prize, I always try to be there because everything still depends on luck.
Sometimes people think that coming first at events like those shared by Rollbit has a greater chance but in reality all of them are randomly chosen by the Rollbit team.
So it doesn't hurt for me to always follow the events that are shared by Rollbit on Twitter.
I think its all about participating and having fun. I mean it is obvious that not too many people would be able to come together and see the benefit of the participation. You don't have to be first or anything like that, you just need to have fun, that's the whole point. If you are having fun then you should not be worried about it at all. I personally check out each and every single one and see if I would have fun with that or not.

If I think that I could have fun with it then I end up definitely doing it. This is why it's quite important to know the difference between a profit and a win. If you profit then you win, but if you lose yet have so much fun then you still win and I think knowing that makes it all the better.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it) on: April 13, 2023, 09:46:38 PM
I am not sure that if you know this or not, but these things have been happening right from when Bitcoin first started going up. People used to call it a bubble, a criminal's currency that they used for illegal activities, they even called it useless and something that isn't worth any attention, but did that really make a difference for Bitcoin and its growth? The answer to that is in front of us.

Even if the adoption rate is slow, it will still not stop Bitcoin at all, and we all know that it cannot continuously keep going up since we know there are cycles of growth and drop, so whenever it starts dropping, people will start talking negatively about it, but at the end of the day, it won't stop Bitcoin from being what it is.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 10, 2023, 05:14:01 PM
Funnily enough, they have one of the simplest business models on the planet. Build some games that can take in money, build enough security around them in many forms to keep the funds safe, hire a customer service team and then try to acquire as many new customers (including via special promotions) because each new one will generally be handing you free money because they don't understand the odds involved. Sportbooks get slightly more complicated as you need to do a lot of data crunching and analysis, even if outsourced, in order to be able to offer competitive odds and also make sure that you're not getting tricked in all sorts of different ways like match fixing.
It only looks simple but the reality is it isn't. You need to build games, market the casino, hire different people, and so on. Managing a casino can also be stressful just like any other business. A casino can't always make money because there are players who can win and then there are hackers and abusers who sap funds from the casino. I think we are getting far from the topic, so let's go back on it shall we?

@OP as per my observation, I never see a casino who is transparent when it comes to this matter. They only put the total amount but they never put a list if who claim all those money. Like you, many people and myself have complained about this before but casinos are still doing the same scheme. They think this was only normal.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 05, 2023, 04:10:50 PM
Yes, but compared to the previous match, I saw a very angry and vicious Real Madrid
Look at the last game, they really had the badness to win
In these conditions he becomes a very tough opponent, I wouldn't take Barcelona's victory for granted again
At the moment, bookmakers evaluate this game as follows:

2.32 - 3.40 - 3.10

In my opinion, Real Madrid is undervalued (even though Barcelona quotes are significantly higher than 2). Most likely I will make a simple bet on Real Madrid. By the way, if compared with the first game, then Lewandowski will play, but in fact he is not so good - Benzema, who played 6 games less, scored only 3 goals less. It is possible that with him Barcelona will be defeated.
Real Madrid is performing unpredictable in domestic matches which is creating mess-up for bookmakers and their last performance against Valladolid is again created some encouragement for Real Madrid even Barcelona is doing amazing and not allowing Real Madrid in this year to have any positive result against them in any competition but as both teams are performing and Karim Benzema performance is also vital for this match which can bring surprise as well.

Carlos Ancelotti is surely trying his best for having better end in domestic leagues after losing hopes for the La Liga title and defeat in Super Cup now just Copa del Roy is only title available for them with Champions League is also not easy while after win against Chelsea their competition is against tough opponents.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens on: March 20, 2023, 05:44:59 PM
With the market growing and changing, there is always a risk that new crypto coins/tokens may fail. However, there are ways you can lower this risk when investing in a new crypto coin/token. Before you invest, ask yourself: Is this project backed by a well known company?
In short, yes. But you can protect yourself with a diversified portfolio and by researching the coins you want to invest in thoroughly before you put money into them.
It is never a good way to see if a new project is backed by a big company or another successful project because scam projects can easily manipulate the public with fake partnerships and sponsors shown on their websites or whitepapers. So just because a project shows the logo of Microsoft on its website, it doesn't specifically mean that they are actually backed by Microsoft.

It is best if such information is verified by checking the social media handles of the companies or other projects mentioned just to see if they have announced anything about it, if they haven't, it simply means that the project is using fake sponsorships to gain investors.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: March 12, 2023, 08:45:22 PM
My guess is that altcoins will also fall drastically and maybe some of them can't handle the impact so they will die (price plungest to zero) and cannot recover anymore but strong altcoins that are at the top can still hold on.

We don't know what the future awaits on BTC but many of us are still optimistic and we think it will only go up and hit more all time highs therefore I don't think 10 dollars for BTC is possible anymore. That is only possible when BTC was still new and the adoption for it was still low but we have gone a long way already. At the moment, we are now close to the Bitcoin halving event and that will have a positive impact on the price of BTC.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Series Search --- how, where and when on: March 12, 2023, 01:20:59 PM
One of the best ways to start learning about Bitcoin is to read as much as you can about it. There are several books, blogs, and forums (including this one, in fact, it's the biggest and most knowledgeable one) available that provide valuable information about Bitcoin, its history, and how it works. There are also several online courses and tutorials available that can help you gain a better understanding of Bitcoin and its underlying technology.

In terms of safety measures, it's important to store your Bitcoin in a secure wallet where you control the private keys, like a hardware wallet. You should also use a strong and unique password for your wallet and enable two-factor authentication wherever possible.

Remember to research and carefully consider any investment opportunities related to Bitcoin before investing. Make sure to only invest what you can afford to lose and diversify your portfolio to minimize risk.
370  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 on: March 11, 2023, 08:34:38 AM
I also wonder why there are still some members promoting their casino which is clear they are a scam casino and always harm anyone who registers and deposits money there.
Supposedly casinos like 1xBit have no more customers from these forum members but in reality there are still legit forum members who register to play with them and end up only losing money.
Even though we all always provide information and knowledge about several scam casinos, those who are still new to gambling and this forum still ignore all the advice and information that has been given and in the end are only disappointed and complain after being tricked by a scam casino.
There isn't any comparison between Owl and 1xbit.  Owl is still a well trusted site to gamble but 1xbit despite promoting their casino here, are one the shadiest and scam gambling site.

I still can't believe that they have decided to leave the forum. Maybe they are not happy with bitcointalk  Huh
They had some issues of their players unresolved and that was leading the players to open scam accusations against them, but surprisingly, instead of resolving the issues and standing firmly against the accusations and solving them, they decided to just silently leave the forum with an excuse that they want to improve their customer service on the website, which basically has nothing to do with their presence on the forum.

Owl had created these trust issues themselves by doing this. If they stayed on the forum, and solved the issues like the one where they confiscated the funds worth 0.1 BTC and just resolved the issue recently, if they did this earlier, they could stay on the forum with grace and face all the questions and accusations.
371  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 10, 2023, 09:30:32 PM
Well, I think if you copy and paste the bets from that website to this thread, it wouldn't really make much of a difference since anyone can do that themselves. What you should do is give tips here from the bets you see and explain why you think that bet will be a win, and your claims must not only be guesses but should be based on some research or at least valid points.

If your tips or bets from the past used to work out for you, and if you follow the pattern I explained above and people see it really working, then I guess you will have a pretty good community discussion going on in this thread soon.

Good luck!

Don’t worry, Premier League is back very soon. Lots & lots of possibilities to make some money Smiley
Don't I know it Cheesy It is just an expected thing at this point. I mean if I wager anything at 4 or more games then I expected at least one of them to fail, but I still do gamble on parlays anyway, even though I know I will lose. It's okay though, I am not really shocked about it as much as I used to, I feel like that's a normal thing at this point.

I remember Bayern losing to low level teams, real, city they all happen so rarely and I remember hitting them all, different weeks and each week making my parlay go down. If it was so easy, each week we would wager on City, Real, PSG, Bayern to win, and you have 4 teams who will make you profit, but it is unfortunately not that easy.

Thank you Steve for the random bets drop, I just saw them now, would have used it all on Croatia probably so it saved me by seeing it today.

It's so much less fun to be in a bad timezone during these big games as you wake up only to see the result and miss all the drama, apparently I missed one of Messi's latest genius moments for the final goal.
It is great that it's at evening for me, if it goes to penalties then it becomes a bit after midnight so it's a bit of a trouble of course, but the 90 minutes ends right around midnight for me so it's a good time to watch. I also love to sleep afterwards and drinking a beer or two or a pack helps me with that very easily lol.

Betting on these games where none of them are my nations make it a lot better, at least I have a reason to watch, I am glad I wagered on Argentina, and yes I know many people assumed Croatia would shock the world yet again, but I didn't believe that, so it was a good win, good drink, good sleep, with good free bet lol, everything was good yesterday.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 29, 2022, 05:42:32 PM
Tomorrow we have another big day after last Sunday's big clash as now Pakistan is going to fight for survival and tomorrow matches will give better review about this all that can they stay in hunt for semifinal spot or their journey are going to end before this all first match between Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe is going to play in Brisbane, and then we have two matches in Perth where most chances weather could be clear for these both matches.

If we have no interruption which is surely good news for Pakistani fans but now here they are routing for India to win against South Africa and if they won then surely interest could be at his top otherwise they have to stop their progress before big games and stay in Australia just for the completion of their matches poor strategy surely giving them shocking results, and now they have to do better things for future.
378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: October 20, 2022, 07:01:05 PM
How can they lose money if they don't want to do it? You better clear out what you are trying to say but I bet it goes like this> people don't want to do day trading again once they lose their money? Well that is true for some especially if the money that they lose are too huge but there are some that will try again but before they do, they will first seek for new strategies. Your statistics are nice.

I can see that you are doing trades for a long time now but maybe you can share more precise tips next time? Because, the one that you have here today are not really that helpful but it only look like you are discouraging someone to not do day trading.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Mysteries Of Bitcoin on: October 20, 2022, 11:17:11 AM
So who is Satoshi Nakamoto? This question is repeated hundreds of times every year. I don't even care or don't want to know how the original figure of the bitcoin maker is, for sure with bitcoin all my life has changed from income to transactions so easy, fast and safe for me that's enough. You better learn more about bitcoin and crypto because every year developments in these fields are always changing and there is always progress that you must follow.
We already know if who is satoshi nakamoto but what we don't know is how satoshi looks like. It's okay if you won't bother about this and I think satoshi will be happy if all of us are not going to bother looking for him because this is the path that he chose but there will always be people who are very curious and will keep on seeking for information which could reveal the true identity of satoshi and there are also those fake satoshi popping out.

It's kinda annoying though. Many of us who got involved in bitcoin and use it as an asset can say that it changed our life even not to the point that we are now ultra rich. It also change the way we transact by the time we use it as a currency.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 18, 2022, 09:08:52 PM
It is reported that Aston Villa are interested in Mauricio Pochettino recently. They are aiming to replace Steven Gerrard with him.

As you know things have been going on really badly for Aston Villa since the beginning of the season. They have collected only 9 points after leaving 10 weeks behind. This is a pretty bad statistics for them. I mean that they didn't have a good season the last time also and things are going on even worse for them now. Maybe the problem can really be between Gerrard and the players. Pochettino is a much more experienced manager than Gerrard of course and he managed Tottenham for a long time here. Maybe he could be a better choice for the team to step up.
There is no doubt Aston Villa is doing not good in current season but here just change of coach is not going to work for them because they have no enough quality players for competing with Premier League teams which is currently the biggest concern if they want to have better results then surely they need to do something for improving quality and spend good amount which is important for having improved performance and better results in Premier League.

Steven Gerrard is doing good job with available sources but still most chances if they are not able to have positive results in coming matches then surely management will do some things which are not going to help them and bringing Mauricio Pochettino in place of Steven Gerrard without having quality players going to be not positive for them.
