I doubt anyone is using anon Transactions at all... we should set up a team of 10-20 people that do small anon transactions back and forth to test the mixer and the payment system

So the system doesn't force anon - only if you request it?  And does the mixer only mix with other people doing anon?

There are situation when users don't want to use 'private' transactions. If they do its as simple as checking a box in the ui.

Show us a preview of the UI, Teka!   Wink

Maybe when the coding team gets one of the platforms done.

Small rally for bitcoin on Bitstamp right now, I hope it spreads.

Looks like we might have the start of the 'september bump' on our hands in altcoin and bitcoin. Lets see if it follows a similar path as last year.

I'm the messiah coming to save your investment !

Ok ... and ?
I'm happy you was not at the start of BTC supporting it with your vision and idea ...

Just leave ...

You do realize that not seeing the "con" side of an investment is a bad idea right?  Any coin I decide to invest in I will welcome criticism to.  Informed decisions are not blindly optimistic ones

We are looking for constructive criticism, not fud. XC has proven itself to be a legitimate currency with high standards for any tech put out publicly.  I remember you were a very active member in one of the fud threads. Further you did not listen to our answer and took your own conclusions.

Money will never be a issue with this coin.  Enough rich bitches around for spoiling haha

Banks, Hedge funds etc will soon be investing in Bitcoin and some of them in Altcoin. I'm sure that they will be looking for coins with active non anonymous teams, a roadmap with future plans and solid tech development in the past history of the coin.

His point is that he needs cheap coins to make huge profit again. So he is making some fud. That's all.

Think you are misintepreting him.  I read it as XC is a good coin and he made a lot of money during the super rise phase.

He's just saying there are scam coins everywhere else.  He's not saying XC is a scam coin.

I also believe thats what he was trying to say. As a person whose second language is English, I know that it can be difficult to get your point accross.

They might be the first but it's always the actual product that matters. Microsoft had the first tablet but Apple has the best selling even though they were second.

‘fake’ cellphone towers found in U.S.

http://www.welivesecurity.com/2014/08/28/android-security-2/

This is even more reason why we need the XC mobile ASAP....

Facebook messenger is as malicious as it gets.
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=767995816572487

Xchat mobile will solve this.

Can we make voice call via XChat mobile in two weeks?

No you will not even be able to use the mobile app in two weeks. Final Revision 2 is coming out in two weeks. We are testing the app internally and thats it.

Oh, and there'll be some big news about Rev 2 a little later today...

How BIG?  Wink

i keep tabs on coindesk and cointelegraph for all my news. coindesk is certainly larger and has more readers though

So after much hard work XC has moved from pumpcoin, to dumpcoin, to a coin with credibility, to a coin that gets original articles on major crypto news sites.

Next: more original articles on major crypto sites... and then some on major tech blogs.

Onwards and upwards!

P.S. Now you know where I've been lately. That, and having general gadget breakdown.

Have you Guys Thought about Reaching out To the Logan and the TekSyndicate Guys they have a big youtube channel and their weekly show "The Tek" is pretty interesting with news of supposed tech-advancements for the future.

They have talked about Bitcoin in the Past but it is since very long time they do not Talk Crypto in their Show. I think they will be interested in talking about XC since they talk a lot about the NSA etc... and if we can reach them about WEB3.0 and what XC has achieved and is planning to achieve I think they will talk about it and give it a fair presentation.

That will be Huge PR in the Tek Scene.

I love watching that show, I was actually waiting for the new ui and a few other things before contacting them.

Quite odd Dan and Arlyn have been very quiet and volume is pathetic. Nothing but sell pressure. Perhaps they are on vacation? Any idea? Perhaps the calm before the storm.

I personally had most of the weekend 'off' and Dan prefers publishing actual coding work then releasing promises.

If BTC-e wants to get extremely popular, they should refund his losses or at least partially, that would probably help them more in the long run than this.

But its not their fault and it sets a precedence. They will be flooded with requests from other bot traders.

I read about it, this morning and its quite interesting. I bet the admins of btc-e are having a great time today unlike the owner.

I've used the vanitygen many times with other coins...
but this time it conflicts with the public key...

I guess we could use cryptogretsky's way with the paper wallet gen.

Actually....   This works...

vanitygen -X 75 XChat

and it's blazing fast even without using the opencl version since it doesn't work for me (R9 290)

Ok thanks, I need to try this.

You should look for one that say XCTeka....   I am looking for one that is XCGretz... now Wink

Also... use -t to increase the # of workers to make it go faster.

I've used the software before (with -t 16 Wink ) but never for altcoins.

I tried -t 24 seems to work for me, then I tried 1024 and it kinda locked up for some reason when it gets to 50%....

I thought it was one per thread?

Do you think mining with a laptop GPU(The GTX 560M) will do me any good?

Never mine with a laptop.
