Here is a  RUSSIAN TRANSLATION. DEV, could you please post this link in the OP?

This is not Russian , this is french and this was plainly google translated not even worth being posted on the main op.

It’s probably a bad thing If you can't distinguish between Russian and French. lol

Yeah that looks russian to me..

803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ISP block bitcoin network? on: July 07, 2014, 11:26:37 AM
An ISP can block a port very easily, such as 8333 or 8332

Are you really serious!

After all the promise of decentralized revolution and financial renaissance, all can be just stopped by just blocking a 4 digit port.

I am going to cry!

Well to make it easier, couldn't the intercontental cable providers block this? As in the people who actually own the fiber under the sea. It's only like 4 companies.

Who are those 4

Here are the internet service providers for normal internet service providers:

UUNET
Level 3
Verizon
AT&T
Qwest
Sprint
IBM

Most of them are US owned companies but there is probably more.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kuwait finance firm suggests trading oil in bitcoins on: July 07, 2014, 11:20:59 AM
Sorry but this unlikely to happen for a very long time. If it helps though, I can tell you that there are oil company investors who have money in Bitcoin and an altcoin or two. Some of them are actually currently looking into coinkite/ similiar service for accepting bitcoin at gas stations but so far it's not worth the cost due to the low intreset in the country in question.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ISP block bitcoin network? on: July 07, 2014, 11:14:36 AM
Well there is nothing saying you have to use port 8333.  You can easily swap to another port.

Oh yeah and that too

810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] PoS/Privacy on: July 06, 2014, 11:52:04 PM
I would advise everyone to ignore  btell since he's subtle fudding due the fact that his question have been answered multiples not only by the team but many members here.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] PoS/Privacy on: July 06, 2014, 11:29:17 PM
You're not quite correct.

- XC is not a coin with added anonymity, it is a platform for privacy, decentralised exchange, decentralised storage, fully functioning (and staking) mobile wallets, and secure private messaging and chat.

- XC did not release its code early on. But Dan did make its code available for peer review to refute FUD that XC was a clone of Fedora.

- We will provide a development timeline around Rev 3 (i.e. very roughly in the next few weeks). Around this point we will state when we will be releasing portions of XC code.

- Once the code is mature and XC is successfully launched and adopted, the full code will be made available.

You couldn't be more wrong in my opion because it's a platform that is ever evolving with new products/tech, it's a long term project and I'm sure that I could find many more people that agree with myself rather than you. In fact I can tell you that there are investors of an oil firm invested in this currency for that particular reason.

Hi Guys,

I hope your all doing well and good luck with kore but please refrain from spamming our thread with massive posts about the coin. Actually it was just one guy Rw13enlib88 .

Thanks

I'm sorry for this, our guys very good and in the last days they are very much excitate for the new features. I'm sure they wanted only to talk about it, not spam planning.

sy Teka Wink

No worries, I get that but the problem is that it was this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668886.msg7708320#msg7708320 which is quite large.

Good Luck

Lame attempt of trolling removed...

Such subtle FUD, lol.

He's a Monero troll, don't worry about him.

We should adopt the policy of not quoting trolls from on.   Why feed them?

I have a lot of spare time and it helps me improve my english too.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] PoS/Privacy on: July 06, 2014, 10:36:37 PM
Sorry for a dumb question, but why is the price rising? It was stable at 10-15k for weeks, why the pump?

People outside of the early investors are starting to realize the true potential of XC.

Guys I look at XC roadmap,

http://xc-official.com/XCPlatform/XC-Short-Term-Roadmap.pdf

and see XC is not fully anonymous, but just a somewhat decentralized coinbase mixer. Am I right?

Also I am in doubt, how one can prove mixing is correct, if source is close. When dev plan to open it?

Ill take the troll bait.

There was a bounty to trace... no one could. There will be a larger one from my understanding very soon... I doubt that one will get claimed either.

I am not a troll. I just a trader, and ask two particular questions in light of XC coin trading mid-to-long term perspective:

1. Can anybody confirm or deny, that XC is actually just decentralized coinbase mixer, and as I have read, XC devs focus not only on anonymity, but on other features, embedded plastic card, for example.

2. When does dev actually plan to open the source? Just approx.?

As we said before, xc is becoming a privacy platform based on xcurrency. This isn't just any other crypto, we are bulding an ecosystem if you would like. Most of the revs won't be released for a very long if at all.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] PoS/Privacy on: July 06, 2014, 10:29:17 PM
I agree with the above sentiment... although its almost 7/7 I doubt we'll see the new wallet release until this time tomorrow.  I'm sure Dan and the rest of the team will want as much time as possible to test everything and make sure its working properly.

In summary, rev 2 release may still be 24 hours or more away, I'm sure someone from the XC team can give us an update tomorrow (its still 7/6 where I live).

Oh yeah don't expect anything at exactly midnight.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] PoS/Privacy on: July 06, 2014, 10:26:51 PM
When dev plan to open it?

A while even before the really revs are open sourced, might not even happen.

Can anyone tell me more about the premine? I see that it is on the address: XS4QLi6VpQQo79HLkoFBj5YZkn6p6TuLKG and current balance is 76797.637446. It state that 1261026.235632 was received and 1184228.598186 was sent. How come that large volume? And where can I find a motivation for every transaction? I'm just quite afraid of large premines after being scammed before, and the value of this is currently 210 btc ~= $133,770. That is pretty much and can easily ruin the market if being dumped.

The premine is being used to fund xc, as well as Dan's personal funds. Our team's name is out there and you can find out more: http://xc-official.com/XCPlatform/14-06-16%20Team%20Announcement%20D.pdf . I personally have a proven track record of trustworthines, before xc and dan was a member on here before xc. I believe that we have gained another trust where this no longer an issue to many people.

Also, Dan mentioned that it was split into smaller address to help with staking.

just to confirm  --

I see you sold most of your coins at 240.. must suck.. not too late to buy back before we push pass 003.

See post from ATCSecure.. the address is also used for staking my friend.. not to worry.. just buy!

You don't need to answer me in a negative tone. I just asked some questions I wanted to know the answer of, nothing else. I'm just much more careful now that is why I'm asking. Anyways, thanks for giving me some answers! So people have donated more than 2M XC to the fund?

Just the transfer volume isn't always the amount under someones control. The premine is 125k and it was moved a few times for testing.
