361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin do you Trust the MOST? on: October 09, 2017, 07:42:08 PM
What Coin do you trust with your life to put your life savings/gains in?

If you are to choose a cold storage wallet to store most of your money, what wallet/coin would that be?

Thx

I still donīt put my lifesavings in crypto. For now my life savings are still going to real estate. Im about 60% BTC and 30% XMR give or take. But Im going to increase the XMR stack while BTC will loose importance to maybe 50% until the end of the year. ThE 10% are mostly small coins and TAAS.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 09, 2017, 07:37:41 PM
By cryptos you mean?? BTC is regulated. In a decentralized way. You have a fixed maximum amount so the suply is regulated, you have an increasing mining difficulty so "printing" is regulated, you have transactions confirmations so that is regulated as well. And guess what itīs not private nor fungible so ownership is regulated as well. So BTC doesnt lack regulations, its just regulated in a different way.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc = you make me tired on: October 09, 2017, 07:33:36 PM
SegShit , bip888 , bip 999 , bipbipbip , btc you make me tired and stressed

I will trade your seconde wife = ethereum

bipbipbip? are those tinnitus? just buy a pillow with speakers, put on some nature sounds and dump the shit coins that come out of forks for alts you like or BTC it self. That way you will feel very calm, relaxed and wealthy:)
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x on: October 09, 2017, 04:51:52 PM
Elastic, Viacoin, Taas and Neo.

Probably: Equitrader and Safex.

I really like TAAS but i donīt see it going 3x soon. The volume is very low as people are holding. and for the coin to pump it has to show some volume on the exchange for people to get excited...and TAAS holders arenīt selling. In fact this Quarter TAAS wonīt pay dividends on exchanges so it will be an even greater exodus of coins. I took mine out and i donīt get them back as i donīt want to risk speculating on it. Many people are feeling the same.

Of course you can argue that with so little coins available would be very easy for the price to jump. Lets see
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: October 09, 2017, 04:44:23 PM
i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?

What kind of coin? one that wants to be a currency? one that wants to be a means of payment inside a platform? one that means to be a profit sharing fund? Alt coins nowadays are so different as BTC and ETH . and people still talk about one being a competitor of the other when we are talking about different things. so in alts, the features one might feel important  depend on the purpose of the coin.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto-projects dump.... on: October 09, 2017, 01:04:55 PM
In this case you have to hold patiently to your choices and avoid panic selling.
Some coins are boring for a daytrader but give quite a good return for holders. Take Monero as an example. It stagnates at some prce levels but eventually finds it way. I believe i started looking at it and it was 30 $ and now its 90. Its 3 times the value, most daytraders will trash talk monero. but for me itīs been a good bet.
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which knowledge is important for crypto trading? on: October 09, 2017, 09:00:33 AM
I already started crypto trading. But i cannot understand how to get profitable in crypto trading. How to understand which coin is the best for buy. I don't know how to become successful in crypto trading. So guys, please tell me which knowledge is important for crypto trading. Thanks...
Holding some of the best established cryptos is the first step. This is a growing market and beat in day trading is not easy. Even if you profit its not easy to profit more than just holding the big ones, being BTC the biggest. That said you can still play around a littl. However i would not put more than 10% in day trade and if im bag holding, just assume the loss if you want to keep playing, or wait. panic selling is never a good option.

When you move from this first step and actually trade you should first learn how the platforms work, then which coins are around and what they are proposing to deliver. Is always best to risk trading coins you wonīt mind holding if the trade doesnīst go your way. For instance i stil believe we can see a DGB spike and i have a small stash bought over 500 sats. As i like the coin, iīll just hold on o it and see if it recovers because i believe it will.

then you might want to learn a bit about tech analysis. even if you do not do it yourself it is usefull to understand what people are tweeting about bollinger bands , fib levels or RSI.

When this is achieved maybe a year or two have passed and you might post again with new questions:)
368  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: October 09, 2017, 07:44:06 AM
So as far as we know BTC currency is growing wide, do you think there will be when it become a national currency? If yes, why?If not, why?
The economies as we now it rely on several stuff, one of them being the cotrol of their monetary policy. Usually this is made made national central banks in most countries, federal banks as in the US and multinational central bank as in the EURO zone. For a counstry to adopt BTC we would have to see some major cange in our economic principals our a country having a currency so week that it would see some kind of advantage in BTC.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tokencard (TKN ) on: October 08, 2017, 10:38:56 PM
I think token has been way over looked. Monaco was way over pumped because of some news it was partnering with visa, which turned out to be fake. Tenx software is a little buggy. The main advantage of TKN is that your wallets are kept by you, not on their servers. A much safer and more efficient solution. Just wait until TKN is released and the pumps start, I could see it going as far as monaco did when it pumped.
Iīve been reading lotīs of FUD on tokencard. I decided to hold it and wait. and iīm still doing it. There are lotīs of teets comparing the various projects that tend to place token as the least atractive. So itīs nice that someone points out itīs positives. Where do you see the resistence if such a pump occurs?
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Confused about upcoming Bitcoin fork on: October 08, 2017, 10:30:24 PM
Usually itīs the other way around. The way to guarantee you get the fork coins is by controlling the private keys in your own wallet. However some exchanges make early announcements about these forks. For instance bitfinex already took position about the Segwit2 fork. Not sure what the position is from the exchanges about BTC gold.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto-projects dump.... on: October 08, 2017, 09:29:43 PM
Why the best crypto-projects are so dump?
OKcash TRIG funfair  Siacoin monero factom steem ...
What do i think about?
Most of the volume doesnīt come from project quality. It comes from hype and marketing. More over people sometimes doesīt see what the project can deliver. I can give you an example, not of dump but of low volume. TAAS is a profit sharing trading portfolio that did a first quarterly share a and is on the way to the second. so people hold it. because they delivering what is promissed. you canīt expect high trade volume if people hold.  Sia for instance, is promissing a good project that is taking time to get acceptance. and competition is coming slowly. The availability is huge, so it is hard to grow in value...
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amount of BTC for trading on: October 08, 2017, 09:23:08 PM
For short term play i try not to have more than 10% of my crypto portfolio. Iīm very conservative so i see all crypto has speculative and risky investment. if you put on top of this the fact that is extremely difficult to apply tech analysis on most alts i rarely risk more than 10% on daily short term trades. has the amount grows over time it can become even less percentage wise
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: October 08, 2017, 08:56:37 PM
Why is KMD dropping so bad? Is there news I'm not aware of?
The drop is global. One of the reasons is people stashing up BTC for the hardfork. Everybody is getting used to this free money. Itīs happening to frequently and #free# money dosnt generaly end well. hope good projects recover after the fork.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 08, 2017, 06:31:14 PM
There are several rules of thumb that are widely said, but unfortunately we donīt always follow. One of them is we should reinvest part of the earning. Itīs also a mistake to reinvest 100%. Another point to be taken is that the market is hard to beat. So we are daytrading like hell, loosing sleep hours, and when the maths is done, we may have been winning, but not as much as we would for just holding. Because in these markets BTC is skyrockting so sometimes is very difficult to overcame that  growth and beat it.
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 08, 2017, 06:26:57 PM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

People scam out of need indeed. But LOTS of people are scamming just because they are desonest. And ireally donīt believe you canīt avoid disonesty. Sometimes itīs only an option. Lots of scammers around are doing not for basic needs, but to get rich or to get superfulous stuff. thats just being a criminal.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 08, 2017, 01:17:16 PM
How knows about near xmr future? Do they try to make something interesting? Have about 100 XMR right now and don't know what to do. Sell them or try to wait till next movement

If you can't get on the GitHub and find reasons to hodl, then you don't deserve XMR and should give them to a better home.

If they go to another good home on the 50 dollar level. that would be even sweeter. And then i wake up to my 50 dollar 100 XMR retirement plan. Sweet dreams Smiley

As for the above post XMR at 91 seems something now. will feel like a sweet deal in the future. Hold.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW XBY ANN] XTRABYTES - INTEGRATIVE MODULAR BLOCKCHAIN INNOVATIONS on: October 08, 2017, 12:01:06 PM
For me this is one of the most troublesome stuff about eth. there surely are good projects there, but the amount of garbadge is so widespread...
For useless tokens, one of the best example is ripple itself. Itīs valued on the hype of banks using the technology, but ripple itself its not needed for that use...

Keep up the good work . Iīm holding .

The key takeaway is Borz is clearly business focused and has the years in industry that counts for a lot. So many of these ETH projects don't have a real business model. Do you know some ETH projects don't actually need the tokens they are selling in their ICOs? Many are getting millions of dollars for a completely useless token that has zero value....expect most of these ICOs to implode once idiots who invested understand this.

379  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the Best coin? Wrong question?? on: October 08, 2017, 11:53:39 AM
Bitcoin was a disruptive technology, none of the alt-coins come anywhere near to offering a new and novel idea. Most of the tech companies out there are concentrating on bitcoin as it has reached mainstream exposure and developers are spending all their effort on this coin. I don't see anything apart from bitcoin being used on many sites so you are wasting your time and money on others.

Donīt you think the privacy and fungibility issues around BTC with the exposure os some darknet markets will turn people away from BTC? or the fact that it leaves those markets will not taint BTC as money laundry currency or criminal activity currency and will bring people to BTC is a wider scale?
380  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the Best coin? Wrong question?? on: October 08, 2017, 11:51:27 AM
Bitcoin is the most widely used crypto and is accepted widely almost everywhere online now. Other altcoins like Ethereum and Zcash are being used to trade and people are also mining them. That is why you will read a lot of news in facebook or any other social media about the main coins. The best coin remains bitcoin, both in value as it is above 4000 dollars and both in acceptance.

This is very truth. But has wide acceptance currency BTC has several flaws. It is not fungible, the transactions arenīt fast, they are starting to be costly. so i see people using it to store value and to speculate on exchanges but not to buy everyday goods.
