363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can a betting shop be so dubious like this on: February 18, 2024, 07:56:32 PM
At least it shows the justice can easily prosecute small betting shop owners while not doing anything against scammy crypto offshore casinos operating in their jurisdiction through internet. Even if amounts involved are usually way higher and touch more people. I hope one day local authorities will be as diligent as that with big online gambling scammers. Because citizens are still helpless against them unfortunately.
364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: February 18, 2024, 07:42:41 PM
Thanks men. Sometimes the placing on tournament is more important than the actual prize especially if you are competing toe to toe on a certain user that keeps beating your place with a small margin. Haha.

The rakeback on my current rank is already enough for me to gain extra reward in replacement to tournament earnings. The 99mbtc club tournament is not appealing anymore due to the current price of Bitcoin. I remember it’s just 3K usdt before but right now it’s already around 5K+ and counting due to Bitcoin price increase.
They didn't provide new kind of tournaments or promotions since quite a long time so I don't expect a raise of the prizes or of the likelyhood to get the higher prizes of this promotion anytime soon honestly. The loyalty rakeback can be significant if you play slots or table games with a high house edge but if you mostly play blackjack it won't help you very much in case of a substantial loss. The monthly cashback bonus is more interesting for that but you need to be able to wait for it during several weeks.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 18, 2024, 07:27:42 PM
Unfortunately you didn't mention in which country it has happened, but you're right, in most countries crypto investors are red flagged by banks, because they are afraid of money laundering, tax evasion, illegal purchases and that the customers could go quickly bankrupt and insolvent while having debts and loans. So unfortunately in 2024 being a crypto user or holder is still not well seen in most parts of the world from traditional banking services.
366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: February 18, 2024, 06:57:32 PM
The mindset is very important in trading because even if you have defined a trading strategy and decided a game plan, you have to be strong enough to respect it without panic selling or panic buying by fear of missing out. FOMO is common feeling known by most traders, but it mostly leads to make mistakes, because whalesand exchanges know how to trigger this feeling in small investors and traders heads, and trap them at the end. Some people depict that as the enrichment of the smart money by the dumb one.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect this bull run? on: February 18, 2024, 06:44:44 PM
First bull run coming up for me and I am just wondering what we should all realistically be expecting over the next 18 months or so?

Looking at the last bull run, Bitcoin hit $61k in March 2021 then crashed back down to $31k 4 months later and then hit all time high in November 2021.

Is the crash down to $31k normal during a bull run or did something happen?

I am just trying to put my plan together when it comes to selling and don't want to sell too much too soon.
Yes unfortunately the subsequent dump is usually not avoidable, because it's a common and natural process in economy and finance called a correction. It's generally triggered by profit takings from investors. But when the asset is volatile and speculative without strong economic fundamentals, the dip can be very deep, especially if many leverage long positions have been placed. It's called a long squeeze.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: saving vs investing - minimalism vs frugality on: February 18, 2024, 06:28:38 PM
Investing should never be mandatory and should only be done with funds you can afford to lose. Especially for highly volatile and risky assets like cryptocurrencies. So I don't think it's a good idea to focus on a monthly plan if the amounts invested are substantial. People doing that should do it as a game of chance, without specific goals. If they win, they must be happy, but if they lose, it shouldn't affect them, they shouldn't have to care about it.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 18, 2024, 05:58:09 PM
You shouldn't forget cryptocurrencies, especially here. They've allowed casinos to open in tax and regulation havens with very few formalities and a shield against states and banks to avoid guidelines, ethics or regulation issues. They are able to run business without being accountable to anyone. And it's the same for their customers from any country. It also brought to the gambling industry the provably fair paradigm. My personal outlook on it for the future is the emergence of the decentralized gambling, the only technology able to prevent scams and abuses in this area.
370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What significant impact is expected of new members of the forum? on: February 18, 2024, 05:52:02 PM
To be honest I think you should find your own expertise field in order to make interesting and constructive contributions, the crypto universe is vast, there are several different fields such as trading, investing, selling, lending, programming and gambling. And you shouldn't try to excel in all those fields at the same time, but you should try to improve your skills in one area after the other instead. And not to hoping to be as strong as an expert in all of them.

372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 10:56:31 PM
Trying any new casino is not without risks, especially custodial ones, so I prefer sticking up to the ones I know well except for decentralized ones. Unfortunately crypto gambling is not as safe as gambling with fiat. Most crypto casinos are located in offshore tax/regulation havens, and as we know it's pretty easy to steal and hide funds in cryptocurrencies. So I still hope decentralized gambling (GameFi/GambleFi) will spread in the coming years.
373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: February 17, 2024, 10:48:47 PM
Fun is already ended for me after the mega whales is already awake to take the top spot with 200K+ wager. This is insane amount to beat by average user like me in Livecasino.  Cheesy

Luckily, they give me opportunity to win 2 tournaments in first place and 4 tournaments in 3rd place so I’m already happy on my tournament journey. Competing is already useless now since you will need at least 5K wager just to secure spot for 10USDT reward which you can easily achieve with few bets on Blackjack. This whale suddenly awaken because I don’t remember his username on the leaderboard even before when I’m still active last year.
That's an awesome track record bro, in how many weeks did you manage to achieve that? Winning one tournament is not easy at all, neither being able to qualify to the top 3, so doing that in a small amount of time is impressive. I hope you've been able to save your bankroll because one time I got a pretty big loss by just trying to chase a good spot during a tournament. I raised too much my stake and a good old losing streak quickly destroyed my entire bankroll Undecided.

Yes but unfortunately I'm not sure its price in satoshis (BTC) will stop to slowly go down during the next months as it is doing since 3 years now. A spread of 2 satoshis when the price is at 10sats is 20% so if it reaches 5 sats it will be 40%. That would be a huge spread. If XFUN starts to be listed on some exchanges and if the platform implements a feature for converting them and withdrawing them it could prevent that, because transaction fees are very low on the Polygon network for XFUNs.
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html#3m

It's down for me too

Why doesn't Quin post here anymore ?

Is this site going downhill ??
Peoples are too quick to give their reactions and spreading negativity about anything, site is now back normal and all working ok this was down for few hours with unknown issue but all back and settled.
When you hold funds there it's normal to be a little bit worried when yhis kind of thing happen IMO, because many platforms have closed like that without warnings because they've been hacked or because they are doing an exit scam. For me it's still unavailable currently. I have a Bad gateway Error code 502 from Cloudfare.
