3621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 24, 2021, 07:48:29 PM
One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?
I know that this is a big topic these days and that is why people talk about it a lot but the reality is that we are talking about two of the basically same things in different lanes but they are not that much different. Sure eth is expensive and bsc is cheaper, sure eth is decentralized as possible while team still can make changes as long as people agree (which everyone does) and bsc is more centralized with validators at BSC.

However if you look at the bottom line they do the same thing and they work for the same thing, they are not that much different.

There shouldn't have been anything that would make these two things too much far apart. Even if people talk about them like they are different things, market is not acting like that and by the looks of it people are trading and using them like they are the same thing as well so I do not see the point of comparing them.
3622  Economy / Economics / Re: April 15th Price Drop, Hash Rate Drops As Blackouts Instituted In China on: April 23, 2021, 08:04:56 PM
Those saying that this is the right opportunity to accumulate bitcoins, how sure are you about that? What if it’s not going up again anytime soon and keeps dropping after you might have accumulated? No matter what it is going to be, we all still have to be very careful with the choices we are making at this point. If you feel you should buy now, still do so with a little amount since you’re not 100% sure whether the price will boom immediately they are done with investigating the accidents they are talking about.
3623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: April 22, 2021, 02:21:30 PM
If they have a strong belief in fate, they will not try to use gambling because that will not result in anything unless it can bring you losses. But if you have a skill and strategy and can analyze in sports betting, maybe you will have a chance to win as the analysis will be the important thing to select the right team.
No, I guess people who are having belief in fate kind of things, should try only gambling. Because, if they win then they will enjoy and if they lose then they will simply move-on after blaming their fate.

But, people who feel their own responsibilities may not simply move-on on occurrence of losses. They will get frustrations and may try to recover back their losses which usually end up in gambling addictions. So in my opinion, people who believe into their fate are the most appropriate people to gamble.
3624  Other / Archival / Re: The difference between the Martingale system and One-Time-Bet on: April 22, 2021, 01:25:07 PM
In fact, many now use the Martingale system instead of doing one stroke of luck, and the strange thing is that it is also liable to lose the same "chance" if it plays one betting with all the amount, and the question here is, why do gamblers prefer this system to a single roll?
I guess that you are not fully understanding how martingale approach is working. It is a strategy which will ensure that your loss will be recovered in next attempt (or next to next attempt) and then you can get back to your original way of gambling. Single roll is the core part in martingale strategy as well.

But, when you are losing a bet then you will get chances to balance that losing bet in martingale approach. If you are winning then it will remain exact as "single roll".
3625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 22, 2021, 12:52:35 PM
that was a relatively simple catch. Rana dropped it, and it cost KKR 6 runs. If that catch was not dropped, then the target would have been 14 from the last over (13 for a tie). Also, the team coordination was very poor among the KKR batsmen. Both Varun Chakravarthy and Prasidh Krishna knew that they need to give strike to Cummins. But they were very slow and complacent while running. KKR should blame themselves for the loss.
Yes, that final ball six in CSK innings might have been breaking the morale support in some sense. There were plenty of chances for KKR to win the match if they would have played Deepak Chahar carefully without losing five wickets inside the power play. Moreover Russel's wicket was game changer as he was expecting a wide but ball clipped the leg side bail.

Mumbai pitch is really a heaven for batters. I just need a T20 matches with high scoring from both the teams whereas in another IPL venue Chennai is doing exact opposite; always low scoring match and 1st batting side is somehow able to defend that small score as well.
3626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 22, 2021, 10:28:17 AM
It doesn't depend to person sometimes, however it depends on what coin/s you mostly hold.
For bitcoin, it is obvious the hodling would be the best option but still some people FUD a lot and then just went panicking so suddenly.
I don't think it is necessary to get panic and to react to FUD if you are holding bitcoins. Bitcoin holders must react in a way to make use of FUD to buy more. Honestly I have seen some big investors who are all always searching for cheaper prices and buying at every dips. This kind of people are definitely looking for FUDs to happen Grin, it seems lol. I am a bitcoin holder and I never think about taking profits among all FOMO and FUD.
3627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now? on: April 22, 2021, 07:08:40 AM
Maybe 10 years from now we could say that crypto users and adopters will surpass the volume of social media users. Because in these days, their number is very large compare to crypto enthusiast. May some people heard about Bitcoin, about Ethereum but the question is are these people investing crypto or most likely they just ignore it? We can't deny the fact that many were still blind about Bitcoin, and their thinking about this thing is just a scam, Ponzi scheme, and full of negatives.
That must be really a wild and surprising speculation in my opinion because your talking about 10 years from here. I agree and I can get your insight on this but we need to consider lots of factors here for that.

Because I'm seeing most people are giving more important for their social life rather than investment opportunities; unless otherwise people are changing their perspective on investments, I'm not seeing what you are saying is not going to happen. People are prioritizing social life more than earning opportunities but that must change at first hand.
3628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: April 22, 2021, 01:08:08 AM
I have reason to suggest he/ she invest just 50% in Cryptocurrency anything can happen cryptocurrency is very volatile and anything can happen at anything in Cryptocurrency there is nothing like sure coin anything can happen to any coin at anytime so you don't have to invest all your funds there.
I do not think that $4k capital of OP is 100% of all their money. I understand that they plan to invest some $4k to cryptocurrencies but that is not all their 100% of networth; anyway you got a good suggestion, I must appreciate you for caring another fellow bitcoiner even you are also relatively new to this crypto space. Even cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, I will encourage anyone if they want to invest their all 100% capital in bitcoins only. Yes, I believe into bitcoins and investing with it will not disappoint if plans are dealing in long term.
3629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: April 21, 2021, 06:28:11 PM
Never have on my mind with long term holding because I faced many bad trouble with coin when hold long term, but some time when any coin sell early later price back to higher price, just keep enough if earn profit every day and could be the moment to buy other coin. Maybe when daily trade we can get many option what next coin as faster way to get profit.
For long term holders, there will be no such pain of waiting patiencelessly for targets and then after exiting regretting for missing out another round of peak price levels. But for that you must hold highly reputed coins only then you can stay calm without bothering whatever fluctuations happening in-between times. There cannot be any best time to sell and forget cryptos. It is going to be part of our life. We may sell and then buy again and then will wait for another target and I am sure this is how all bitcoiners will spend their rest of life.
3630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: now is the right time to buy XRP on: April 21, 2021, 06:10:08 PM
without realizing it XRP has started its new journey quite impressively, when they are faced with a case that ends in victory being a turning point for XRP to start something new.
despite all that I am sure the XRP will soar again even reaching new ath due to the surge from their results of winning the trial in court.
From where you got that they got victory against SEC? Could you please link me; I am just another observer of XXRP still somehow missing those information.

If XRP is cleared from the charges by SEC of USA government then I guess that this must be a right time to buy more XRP. Already ripple corporation is known for frequently bumping and dumping XRP for some reasons and they may come this time with more wild plans. So, get ready not to miss any such big round of bull rally.
3631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good for investing? on: April 21, 2021, 03:26:34 PM
BNB and Tron are good investments in my opinion, and these two coins certainly have a bright future in investing in the crypto world,
Tron is still missing to get into bull run, right? Even tron is recovering from below 100 satoshi and now trading around 240 satoshi, I doubt tron will get into a new ATH within this year. Probably Justin Sun is waiting for bitcoin to end its bull run and might have plans to pump later on.

For XRP, you should avoid investing at this time because there are too many problems and investors are starting to switch to investing in other coins
I read SEC has cleared XRP but I am yet to read things on that. I guess until we have concrete information on XRP related to SEC issue, I guess it would be much better to stay away from XRP. When we are having lots of other options, why we need to consider the problematic XRP right away?
3632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coin that can go ONLY up? on: April 21, 2021, 10:25:30 AM
This is a simple request for feedback on a project we are working on:

WOULD YOU BUY A COIN THAT CAN GO ONLY UP?

"What do you mean???"

To make it simple:
-  There is a 0-2% FEE on Buy
-  and a 90% FEE on Sell
Well, that’s nice, but having a 90% selling fees? Don’t you think that’s going to discourage a lot of people. Okay I know that you’re doing this because there are lots of people who usually complain about coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum and the rest of them dropping a lot of times, but trust me all those are just making all those noise because they are losing money.

If you introduce this project to all those people they will be avoiding it because first of all they are not sure of whether it will be having a strong use case, and also people want to be able to sell their coins whenever they want to sell it without having any form of obstruction.
3633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 21, 2021, 07:17:17 AM
Back in 2017, I felt the same. I used to be a panicky one. I can feel cold sweat all over my body whenever I faced the dump. I did panic sell and then I regret it cause eventually the price was increased after that. It's really frustrating. Probably because it was my first time and I didn't know the trait of cryptocurrencies at that time.
If you are talking about bitcoins then that might be on 2018 and not in 2017 as we were into stronger bull run in 2017 (I agree there were some months in red even in 2017 but overall that year must be a good year for this crypto space and very rarely people might have got panic).

Along the way, I started to learn that whenever bear season comes, then after that bull season will arrive. Bear season is just a moment when whales accumulate their assets and then sell it when bull season comes, so yeah many times I hold my tokens or accumulate it too when the price dumped.
Yes, when you are learning out of your experience then definitely you will get good control over your emotions. We must need to understand the cycle of market fluctuations because it is definitely happening on some pattern; only for the people who never find time to understand that kind of pattern will definitely go emotionally failed.
3634  Economy / Economics / Re: an economic thought experiment on: April 21, 2021, 02:27:37 AM
I think if we were measuring things in mbtcs, Satoshi's or bits on exchanges, people would be buying more - $50 feels cheap for a full unit of a currency (traditional uk/Roman pounds are worth around £320/it's just a pound of silver). Bits are 6 cents too so that'd feel even smaller..
That I have been thinking for years.

It may be the time to switch to new smaller units to keep attracting investors through psychological way. Stocks are doing in the name of "splitting" (if a stock is valuing $2k then all holders will have 2x shares through the process of splitting but value will be reduced to $1k so new investors will show more interest).

There were lots of initiative to make smaller units to be made popular but I guess unless otherwise bitcoin foundation is not showing interest, nothing will go across all exchanges and to all bitcoiners across the globe.
3635  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the purpose of (fiat pegged) Stablecoins? on: April 21, 2021, 01:47:15 AM
Another reason the stable coins are important is because many of these altcoins are not paired against Bitcoin or Ethereum on many exchanges and the USDT is a good alternative.
You mean some pairs of coins are not being traded against BTC or ETH but against USDT? I have not come across such thing in my crypto exchange; all coins are being listed with BTC pair and most ERC20 tokens are getting listed against ETH and some pairs are getting listed along with USD pair and only after that alone some devs go for listing with USDT pairs.

I guess these are preferences of devs as exchange will charge them for each trading pairs. So, not sure it is an option for easier value giving to token or new coins if it is directly paired against a stablecoin.
3636  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it supposed to be alt coin season after bitcoin falls? on: April 20, 2021, 08:51:26 PM
I hear everyone talking about how it's going to be alt coin season when bitcoin season is over. But how? Whenever bitcoin falls, for some whack reason alt coins follow suit. Even those coins whos projects have nothing to do with bitcoin like Vechain.

I really feel like we've hit the market cycle top earlier than expected tbh
Not like it’s not possible it’s not every altcoins in the market that goes the same direction with bitcoin (having correlation), most of them don’t have any correlation with bitcoin at all, they are just on their own lane, so there is the possibility of these coins increasing in value even when bitcoin crashing, it’s normal thing and it happens like a lot of times, we see it happen.

Although that might be the same for coins like Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and all of them that moves the same direction with bitcoin.
3637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 20, 2021, 08:33:24 PM
The last few months of solid growth have instilled confidence that Bitcoin is unstoppable. Each time Bitcoin updated its maximum and even managed to get close to the $60,000 mark. However, then its price fell sharply in a few days and for many investors it came as a shock… for some reason.

Is it really the end of the Bitcoin rally or it’s just a pause before another storm? Let’s try to figure it out.
It has just become the normal thing for most of you people to be asking whether it is over whenever there is a decrease in price . How do you expect the market to be at this time, to just stay stable at that rate of $60,000 until it is read to climb back up again!? You all know very well that such thing is not going to happen in the market.

There are going to be times when there will be slight dip in the price, and this is why as a trader or investor you have to always prepare yourself, if you know you’re going to be getting all emotional at times like this, then why not sell when the market was going all the way up to $64000?
3638  Economy / Economics / Re: I think Bitcoin is the biggest bubble and ponzi in the universe or it isn't? on: April 20, 2021, 08:13:07 PM
is it a ponzi or is it a buuble?
Make up your mind. For example bubble was the marihuana stocks. Ponzi is when there is no inherit value or utilty in the asset and it keeps growinf till it goes to zero when everyone founds out.

BTC could be in a bubble, but it is not a ponzi.
That's right, and for those who are interested in a detailed research here's a good article on why Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. Probably one of the best proofs is the following(citing from the article): "Ponzi scheme promoters sometimes try to prevent participants from cashing out by offering even higher returns for staying put." Bitcoin holders can cashout whenever they want without someone preventing them from doing so, and not because they are allowed to, but because there's no one to ask permission, in the first place. There are also other characteristics of Bitcoin that no Ponzi scheme possesses, but this one is very convincing, imo.
Ponzi is basically a scam all around, it guarantees income and that's why it is a ponzi, nothing in the world could guarantee you any income and that is why ponzis will always stay a scam, even if you managed to get everyone in the world which will make that ponzi trillions of dollars high, you will eventually run out of money in existence to keep paying these people. This is why I think it is obvious that we should not be really looking at bitcoin as a ponzi. Why? Because nobody guarantees income to you, it is like gold, is gold a ponzi? Does anyone guarantee you income with gold?

You do make a profit but it is not guaranteed, it is just a valuable thing that gets more valuable over time and that's it. Bitcoin is the same as that, it is a good thing that people do not really understand bitcoin just yet, it allows us to buy bitcoin at cheaper levels until everyone gets it.
3639  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live games & Slots! | VIP | on: April 20, 2021, 07:41:17 PM

2nd with a 15.19x ROI bonus buy - roycilik!
3rd with a 13.56x ROI bonus buy - posimoh!

Yeah it is nice to see some new faces on the winners list, it makes the competition become more competitive and challenging. If we can get more and more participants, we can expect to see a new increased prize pool  or more winning places to hunt  Smiley Well done guys, hope to see you again in the next one. Previously, I thought roycilik would take all the 1st prizes but I was wrong.  Wink
It is weird to see the dread pirate roberts name there, it is really weird because we all know what happened to the real one. However those multipliers are huge numbers, winning with x1000? That is insane, it would be profitable (most probably) just to win that alone, but getting a prize on top of that? Forget about it, you are going to make a huge profit for sure. I think these type of competitions are not just marketing, sure it is mostly marketing, so you can get more people involved with the casino as well.

However I also believe that it makes life more entertaining for the existing customer base as well, someone who would play here anyway, would be happy to join these as well, so it would make duelbits a bit more entertaining so that is going to be another part of these competitions aside from marketing. Although maybe making things more fun for your current customers could be considered marketing as well I don't know.

Curry is playing at MVP level once again. Dude missed so many games this year and he still ended up with the highest total games and highest points per game at the same time. You do not do this without being one of the best offensive players eve in the league. I do not remember any player being as great as him on offense, I know Lebron is great, I know Kobe was great, I know MJ was great, all of these players are great but I still say that he is the best scorer we have ever seen.

MJ had other stuff, Kobe had other stuff, Lebron has other stuff, but Curry is a pure scorer that can never be found anywhere ever again, dude is just surreal and he should even get MVP but warriors suck so he will probably not get it, most of the time MVP is given to players who plays in a team that is highly ranked, barely under 5th seed and usually goes to first seed most of the time.
