Intelligence agencies have been known to recruit people like Wright, the loose cannon grandiose narcissist pathological liar fantasist free agent type -- they're totally deniable as kooks and cons if things go wrong and they are easily controlled via copious dirt and their propensity for a 'fast' lifestyle. But if it's true for Mr. Wright, we'll never know so I think it's not very useful to speculate about other than this: Because it *could* be a state actor, we ought to fight it with all the vigor we'd fight an attack by a state actor.
Let me give you just one hint. One government agency is known for ''talking'' with Gavin Andresen, and shortly after this happened Satoshi was gone and we can only speculate what really happened there. But what we know for sure is that Gavin Andresen later claimed that he thinks Craig Wright is the real Satoshi, even if he never signed a message as a proof. Gavin never clearly came out and said he was wrong, and almost infinite amount of money CSW team has is certainly rising suspicion.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. There are a lot of assumptions and falsehoods here. What exactly was wrong assumptions and false information posted about Arculus? All information posted by me was based on your website, and feedback on internet is not very good, to say at least. International expansion is coming soon. I guess people from rest of the world should just wait and pray you don't cancel access in future. This is obviously centralized control and I would never use any hardware wallet like that The wallet is completely anonymous.
You obviously know who order the wallet, and I don't know what you are doing with customer data. Nobody can use this wallet unless they are in US, so that means you also know IP address and location of users at all times.

Is there any Demo or tester BTC wallet I can use to transfer between wallets just to see how BTC transaction works? Thank you
Yes many Bitcoin wallets have testnet mode and you can use them perfectly fine with testnet coins. Some of the wallets I know have testnet option are Electrum, Blockstream, Coinomi, Wasabi, and even hardware wallets like Trezor and ledger have this. Note that testnet coins have no value and you can get them with faucets if you want to test how everything works.

Can you help me access Binance?
You can try contacting Binance support with email, and I am sure they will answer you something, but I just can't believe they didn't send you any notification about this. If you passed kyc verification they will have to explain what happened, maybe they just banned your IP address or they made some country based restrictions. Try visiting Binance website from different device and other location in your country to see if you can access it. I think Binance also have customr support on Twitter @BinanceHelpDesk, so you can also try contacting them that way. PS Never use any centralized exchange for holding coins.

I've always heard from smartphone experts that files aren't always 100% wiped off memory cards, ssd, hdd or other form of memories, if my phone gets stolen for example and I have used my phone to store sensitive information like in PDF format or TXT files that consist of recovery seeds can someone get their hands on these files if the phone was formatted before getting stolen?
Never save recovery seed words in any digital format on any devices, that applies for both phone and for computer, especially if they are connected to internet. Even if you format hard drive there is a chance of having leftovers, stuff that can be recovered, or someone could steal this data before formating. It's much safer to use simple paper to write words with pen, or you can use stainless steel metal if you want more protection from elements.

![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

There should be nothing (serious).to target if everything is stored on the user's device locally. If I remember correctly, they were afraid people would create similar copies of the wallet (same design) and add malicious code to it...which by the way, is something that scammers still do.
Exactly, and they could even turn out to be very shady like Safepal hardware wallet that is closed source but they still used bunch of open source code and they breached original license they used. Both of this wallets (safepal and trust wallet) are supported by binance exchange, so you can understand why I don't trust both of them with their lame excuses. I am sure they didn't built anything from scratch, they cloned and forked other code, made few changes and than made it closed source so they could hide all the bugs in code from public.

I'm curious: it looks like the display itself is faulty, and from what I've seen taking apart calculators as a kid, it looks like the connection is partially loose. I can't think of a way how that can be caused by not using it for a long time.
Who knows what could be the issue... I know laptops can have issue with display board when some resistors or chips stops working or burn out. Ledger is using very cheap chinese display, and it's possible contact connections gets loose over time or something related with crystals. Most problems people reported with wallets not used for a long time was dim screen, I can't explain why but maybe ledger can explain this better.

However, mk1 to mk3 are not reproducible by WalletScrutiny as of today (09/25/2022)!
I think this is the case with many other wallets listed on WalletScrutiny right now, maybe they need more time to update and test latest released wallet versions. WalletScrutiny doesn't have big team of people, so we can't expect them to be up to date all the time, but I think they accept help from volunteers. There is also an option of using alternative to WalletScrutiny, called BitcoinBinary but note that this website is owned by ColdCard https://bitcoinbinary.org/

I'd recommend looking more into screen protectors instead of visual stickers.
Nice to hear your new Passport wallet is finally on it's way home. You could probably make your own custom screen protector using one of those cheap smartphone glass protectors. I am not sure how to cut this glass properly and avoid breaking in wrong places, and I never tried doing that, but this cost few bucks, you can buy it locally and you can practice until you make it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I won't have anything against having a full case protection for Passport wallet, just like there was old mobile phones cases for protection.

Andresen is front and center of that collection of noteworthy individuals. The sooner he does the right thing then the better for all of us, especially all the victims of CSW's sham lawsuits.
I doubt Gavin Andresen will ever do the right thing because he is probably still controlled by some government agency, and in best case he is scared by them. It's not impossible that CSW Faketoshi was part of this story the whole time, that is why we can somehow explain the fact some courts are still trusting all his bs lying propaganda. I could say the same thing for Roger Ver, who previously worked with CSW on Bcash, he could also do the right thing but I guess it's not in his own interest.

the quotes are linked to bithope.org, zoominfo.com, game-protect.com respectively.
Member game-protect got banned in forum few years ago, and he was known for spreading many false information. I don't know if he continued using some other any alt account in forum but his website is still active and he continued to earn money with ''protection''. This Bithope campaigns looks nothing more than a bitcoin donation address from bitcointalk forum, but I wouldn't blindly trust anything I read on Bing or internet.

Seeing as this frees up a bunch of ad slots, what does Theymos think of advertising non-profit bitcoin sites? My conclusion from post theymos wrote earlier is that he is tired of doing everything manually, and even non-profit website can turn out to be shady or scam. He would still need to manage non-profit stuff so I don't think he is willing to continue doing that, unless some moderator can do this job. I think that funds people invested in forum ads so far will now move to signature campaigns. I was thinking in particular about websites like bitcoin.org and perhaps my own website bitcoincleanup.com. Of course, as a prerequisite you must already have an HTML banner designed.
I am sure bitcoin.org won't e advertised here any time soon after they parted ways few years ago. Not sure what will happen with other non-profit websites, but I would suggest adding Ninjastic website, BPIP website, or Loyce'v archiving website. I support idea that bitcointalk should use some ad-network, or DT members could vote if ads should be allowed or not, problem is that DT system is currently not working correctly.

I've been "into" bitcoin since 2013 and just recently started getting back into it. I used to use the Bitcoin core wallet (pretty much the only option back in 2013). Now with hardware wallets like Ledger and others, is it recommended to use something like that, or continue using the downloadable bitcoin core wallet?
Why bother comparing apples and oranges? You can use both wallet types perfectly fine, but if you don't keep your computer turned on all the time with full node and blockchain, than you obviously won't use Bitcoin Core. Hardware wallets are easy way of keeping your seed words offline and using your funds easily in the same time, but some of them are closed source and not as good as people may think. I would never recommend anyone using ledger, safepal or any similar closed source hardware wallets that just gives false sense of security. I have a Nano Ledger S Wallet that hasn't been used for a long time, but after plugging it into a PC/laptop, the Nano screen doesn't display properly, there are even "dots" whether it's damage to the display or other error problems. This is very common issue for many owners of Ledger model S hardware wallet, especially if it was not use for a long time. Some people report dim screen, other have dots or other errors like missing lines on screen, that makes wallet unusable. First thing you can try is to use your smartphone camera mode and see if screen characters are visible through phone screen. If this is not working than you have to buy new screen that is very cheap, or buy new hardware wallet (Model S in discontinued). Has anyone experienced anything like this?
I did not, but I saw many reports on reddit and social media. You can read one topic I wrote about Leger model S and find links for new display: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5370521.0

Why? What is it? :-) Did I wrong something or was something hacked?
Your Core wallet is obviously not synced and it can't show correct balance and transaction, but you don't really need to use both wallet. Easy solution is to check your address on any blockchain explorer that can confirm your balance and transaction. You can also download full bitcoin blockchain if you want to wait for days and have your computer working 24/7.
