Lazio is finally awake! The goal of Vecino will most likely bring 3 vital points for the team but unfortunately for Lazio , their coach Sarri took a red card outside the pitch and I think he will also get extra rounds of punishment for his behavior. This is not great at all for future games as Lazio is still on 12th spot with only 10 points so far... Angry

Yes, Lazio were very lucky to win this game, although they scored two goals first and then Atalanta equalised. 10 points in the standings now is not very little. If Lazio keep winning, they can expect to move up in the standings. Lazio's next game will be against Sassuolo, who they are close to.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: October 08, 2023, 04:46:38 PM
I have heard the advice that you should only use money you can afford to lose for gambling. I say that this is more theoretical than practical. Literally no one has money that they can afford to lose. I feel that money for gambling is a matter of opportunity cost. You either use the money for gambling or use it to meet a need. If using money one can afford to lose were practical there will be no need for articles on having a gambling budget or bank roll management. Hey gamblers my question is to you now is, the money you currently plan to use for gambling is it money that you can afford to lose?

Well you seem to live a different lifestyle to others, where you may consider that you cannot afford to lose any money. However if you look at it differently and as a form of entertainment, then it can make more sense. For a example some people find pleasure in going bowling or to the cinema, even paying $20 for the privilege. That is a fun experience to them. Other people choose gambling as a fun experience, outlet and way to spend their free cash. Neither is better or worse than the other, as long as the person stays in control of their budget.

I totally agree with this! Because this is the advice that I always give when people are asking me from it and that is to only risk something what you can afford to lose. I think if we try to look at this in the context of gambling, this would really make sense because as well know, you will really lose money in gambling. So, it's like  another way of saying that you should manage your funds wisely and that you should only use you free money. I also agree with what you mentioned that if we see gambling as a means of entertainment, then what you can afford to lose for gambling really makes sense. Because it's like paying for a ticket to a concert since your main goal is to have fun. And I think this is also to teach gamblers to gamble responsibly and to remind them about the risk of gambling if the very reason reason why they engage to it is to generate an income and not to have fun.
But again, we all have different belief and views about this matter.
The key is not controlling your budget or knowing how to play only with money you can lose. The main thing is not to become mentally addicted to gambling, when you will have thoughts only that you can win, for example, doubling your bet. If you begin to think about winning and not about pleasure, then you begin to addiction to gambling.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 08, 2023, 01:46:22 PM
Lazio are currently winning against Atalanta. Lazio managed to score two goals in the first half, but Atalanta managed to score only one goal back so far. The first half is almost over and we are in for a very interesting game in the second half. There are often surprises in Serie A, so it will be interesting to see what Atalanta can do.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 07, 2023, 07:05:23 PM
Bayern are having the best of times. They are playing very steadily and I even think they can reach the Champions League final. Although Galatasaray are also playing well both away and at home. But I think it will be an easy game for Bayern. Galatasaray are strong in the Turkish League, but Bayern are much stronger.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 07, 2023, 05:13:12 PM
There are two matches in the French League today. Metz will play Nice and Reims will play Monaco. I am focused on the match between Metz and Nice.

Metz actually started the league well, but they had bad results in the last games. They haven't scored a goal in the last two weeks. Their Colombian striker Oscar Estupinan is a good striker. He played for Hull City before. And I know he's a good striker and I'm sure he will catch everyone's attention after he finishes his adaptation to the French league. On the other hand, Nice are undefeated this season. They are on a great streak under Italian coach Francesco Farioli, whom I know from Turkiye. If they had beaten Brest at home last week, they would be at the top of the French league. I know it's not an easy game, but I think Nice will win this match.

Monaco vs Reims

This match is definitely going to be competitive. I believe both of the teams are at the same number of wins so far. I think in this match both of the teams are going to go for a win. I do not think that this match is going to draw. Both teams are performing at the same level of consistency in my opinion. I am expecting some mistakes, especially in the defense from both of the teams. That will open the door for the other to score.

Nice vs Metz
So far only 20 minutes have been played in this match. And Nice is already leading in this match. The score is currently one – zero. I will say that this was pretty much expected. I think Nice is going to end up winning this match easily.
Nice managed to win and get to the first place in the standings. Reims and Monaco will be a very interesting match because both clubs now have the opportunity to become leaders of Ligue 1. I think that the hosts have home advantage.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 07, 2023, 04:29:19 PM
It seems that never losing is not a guarantee that Barcelona can lead the intermediate class. In 8 League games Barcelona have not lost, they have only drawn twice. It seems that Barcelona's record for this season still has no rivals in other Europa Leagues. Because other clubs have suffered several defeats. It seems that this condition makes Xavi more confident in the strength of the team.
Being unbeatable but got so many draw will never give a good result for the points. Getting draw was making the club to lose two points. You can imagine if barcelona was always getting draw and it will be missing a lot of points. Winning the game is a must for barcelona to defend its trophy last season.
Some epl clubs are still being unbeatable till this time. I think that it doesn't even matter a lot. Xavi is yet feeling confident with the midfielder of barcelona. He was thinking of buying a new midfielder to strengthen the club.
Barcelona had been also conceding so many goals. It's a proof that if barcelona needs to strengthen its club even though xavi has so many great players. Xavi is still looking for a long term solution to replace busquets which has been leaving since the early year.
Out of eight games, Barcelona have won six and lost none. I think that's a good result. Only two draws in the first half of the season. Barcelona are now in third place and probably don't need to worry that they are not doing well.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 07, 2023, 03:18:30 PM
We've had enough red this past year that it is time for seeing some green candles now. Although we don't yet have the momentum but the potential is still there. Not to mention that every day when the market manipulators fail to push the price down despite their dumps, is a day where the buy support gets stronger Tongue

This year disappointed us a bit. September was average, not good nor bad, it was decent for many crypto traders. But now as we are moving towards 2024, so many people will start buying the coin. This will lead to increase in demand and hence the price will definitely go up. So yes we might expect that from late October onwards the price will go up till the December. Let’s see what October shows us.
It's your assumptions that people will start buying and there will be high demand for bitcoin. Yes, halving has always had a positive effect on bitcoin, but we don't know how it will be in the future. About September, it turned out to be green despite expectations. I hope October will be green too, as it was in previous years.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX founder projects $750,000 to $1 million #Bitcoin price by 2026 on: October 06, 2023, 03:54:19 PM
Don't know if this will be the rise of bitcoin after halving, because there has been so much speculation with fantastic numbers no wonder they are so confident with that number but we as retail investors are quite realistic with the number $100K - $150K. Maybe they are trying to create FOMO from now on to make the upcoming bullish?

The speculation about the future price of bitcoin that I have seen ($5M - $1M - $500K - $100K) there is nothing wrong with that prediction but when an exchange leader says it then it makes the news and is broadcasted.

Who wouldn't be happy with $750K in 2026? But I doubt it will happen.
It seems more like science fiction to me too, especially since this prediction is for the next few years. But bitcoin has surprised absolutely all people repeatedly, so why not. Although I also think that after the upcoming halving the price will be around 100-120k.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up Move Incoming on: October 06, 2023, 03:04:33 PM
It will be going up for sure from here <...>

What degree of probability do you assign to the rise? Charts, however logical they may seem, can always fail. I tend to think quite probabilistically, even though I don't rely on charts as I invest for the long term, but I trust someone's prediction if he gives a percent estimate of the next market movement according to his analysis more than someone who says that the price is going to go up for sure, which would be the same as assigning a 100% probability. We have to think that there is a world outside the analysis, and a negative news can pull the price down.

personally I think his charts comply with my miners relief rally patterns.

Check Oct 2015 to April 2016 rally into the 1/2 ing

we had a good move up starting with 33% in Oct 2015.

that would be 27k to 36k for oct 2023.  So I am hoping both of us are correct.
October is statistically the best month for bitcoin, but there were still exceptions to the rule when October was bloody. Just like September was usually a bad month, but this year September turned out to be green. Hopefully the inversion won't happen in October.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 06, 2023, 12:35:36 PM
Bayern Munich are going to play a home game against Freiburg this week. Bayern Munich had a big difficulty against Leipzig last week. They could have even lost the game I mean. After that the win against Copenhagen must have given them some boost in morale. This should also have some help for them in this game to get another win.

Freiburg couldn't make a good start. Things are worse than the previous season for now. The win against Augsburg must have been a chance to take a deep breath maybe but I don't think they can steal point from Bayern Munich. I expect a comfortable win by Bayern Munich.
I think Bayern will win this game. They play very well at home and usually score a lot. Freiburg played badly last game against West Ham and they will have to play against a strong Bayern again. The motivation is certainly high, but they have little chance. I'm sure there won't even be a draw here.
391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what are we expecting for the rest of 2023? on: October 05, 2023, 06:14:35 PM
If the SEC complies with the request of the US congress about immediately approving the spot ETF, then we might see some recovery in this latter part of the year.  According to the news from Coindesk U.S. House Lawmakers Push SEC’s Gensler to Approve Spot Bitcoin ETF ‘Immediately’. four members of the House of Financial Services Committee called the SEC to approve ETF application since SEC lost a court fight over the decision to reject Grayscale's spot ETF.

If the SEC listen to the call of the US House Financial Services Committee on approving spot ETF, this might hype the sentiment of the market and enable the Bitcoin price to rally even before the hype of halving take effect.

There isn't any bitcoin ETF approval deadline this year. The first one we might see in January of 2024. There is FOMO forming up regarding bitcoin ETF and halving. Some experts predict this can be the biggest bitcoin rally we have ever seen. All the possible ETF approval deadline is around bitcoin halving in August. It seems they wanted to amplify the halving FOMO with this news event.

I also believe that the upcoming bull season will be the biggest and biggest bull season we have ever had.  The SEC cannot delay ETF approval forever, approval is just a matter of time and there needs to be a right time to announce and bull season is the perfect time.  not to mention the world economy will also enter a recovery phase in 2024-2025, which will be another strong catalyst for bitcoin.  so I believe we will have a big bull season in the coming years.

The next ETF approval deadline is the last for most of them. They need to decide whether it will be approved or not. This time the market is looking for a positive outlook. Approval of ETF will trigger FOMO to the market though I think this will not be enough to beak previous ATH. There can be some unexpected scenario like the potential crash of USDT. Their users are already having a hard time recovering USDT so a crash of USDT can cause panic and holders will start buying BTC and other crypto to save their assets. I know they are fully backed by assets as they have claimed but after seeing the Luna and FTX crash it seems nothing is impossible in crypto.
The collapse of usdt will lead to another market collapse. It is the biggest stablecoin on the market. The crash of TERRA ust led to a prolonged market crash and nobody bought bitcoin. I think that if something like this happens again, we will be in a long bearish cycle again.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: October 05, 2023, 03:11:36 PM
Are you collecting low cap altcoins for the bull market? It sounds like you think low cap altcoins can easily make 100x profits. I don't think so and even if the supply of a good quality project is high then you will get good profit there. Many new investors tend to follow supply more. You should know that there are many low cap altcoins that can't even sail the market in bull seas.

There are many altcoin that have a low market cap whose price can increase very high and provide a high profits, but of course the risk of you losing your money is also very high, therefore if you are not ready for the risk, then it is better for you to invest in Bitcoin (the king of cryptocurrency), because the price will definitely increase very high, especially now that the prices of Bitcoin are experiencing a correction, so this is an opportunity for us to be able to invest in Bitcoin at a low prices.
The price of such coins can rise very much or fall very much. Even if the price has risen very much, as already said, it may be without trading volumes. That is, you may not be able to sell at a high price. But if the price drops a lot, it will most likely be for a long time. Therefore, such coins are dangerous for investing.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP has been ruled a security on: October 05, 2023, 09:25:14 AM
Well the this is a case still going on with Ripple and sec. But in the last 7 days XRP is up more then 5%.

I think it has to do with the new license it has got in the country of Singapore. https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-fully-licensed-to-provide-digital-payment-token-services-in-singapore/?utm_campaign=&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_source=twitter

https://u.today/ripple-bags-licensed-to-operate-in-singapore
Ripple does have a lot of partnerships and different licences. Every year there is news that XRP is used by some banks, either in Dubai or somewhere in Asia. But it's impossible to track it all. It is also not clear on the website what exactly Ripple will be doing in Singapore and what kind of licence it has.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 04, 2023, 06:52:47 PM
I can't say that Atletico are stronger than Feyenoord, because they play at home and Griezmann was able to equalise in the last seconds of the first half. Feyenoord's goals are not random and very technical, especially the first one. Atletico have serious problems in defence and I think they can lose today.
if Simeone realized his team's shortcomings in the first half and corrected them in the second half, I think Atletico could still get the win. This clearly requires hard work because I noticed their midfielders were also having problems sending the ball forward.
Atletico didn't create many chances. if they can win the midfield battles very comfortably, perhaps they can create more chances for their strikers.
It's still quite difficult, both of them performed well in this match.
Start of the second half is impressive for the Simeone's Atlético Madrid as they take early lead through Morata second goal of the game now they need to keep game's momentum at this level and try to keep pressure on Feyenoord which is also doing good job and will try his best for the another equalizer of this game if they are able to have another equalizer this could be perfect for them because this point is going to be important for them if they want to have spot into next round of this season Champions League.

In second match, Antwerp is having good performance in first half now after start of the second half we have first goal from the Shakhtar Donetsk through Sikan with both teams are looking for the first win of this season in this event, hopefully things will be interesting near the end of this match.
Feyenoord couldn't play as well in the second half as they did in the first. Atletico were lucky and they were able to win the match. But what surprised me the most was Shakhtar's game against Antwerp. Shakhtar were losing 2-0 in the first half and managed to score three goals in the second half and win the game. So far this is probably the best result I have seen this season.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 04, 2023, 05:46:34 PM
Atletico Madrid vs Feyenoord

The match between Atletico Madrid  vs Feyenoord is taking place now . Although Atletico madrid is more experienced and stronger than Feyenoord,  but Feyenoord is in good form. They won  the first match against celtic. The team won the home match  2-0.  Feyenoord also won against the mighty ajax in the Eredivisie. And I would say that the confidence of the Feyenoord players is very high now that they have won these two matches. And they will perform well against Atletico in today's match. I guess the match could be a draw.

Just 7 minutes into the match, Atletico Madrid's defender Hermoso made a mistake. The Feyenoord team got a lead of 1 goal. Since the first goal of the match was scored by Feyenoord, hope to get back on track in this match will be very difficult against Atletico Madrid. The match turned out to be competitive.
I can't say that Atletico are stronger than Feyenoord, because they play at home and Griezmann was able to equalise in the last seconds of the first half. Feyenoord's goals are not random and very technical, especially the first one. Atletico have serious problems in defence and I think they can lose today.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: October 04, 2023, 03:07:15 PM
Few years ago, didn’t though that bnb could reach such milestone as it is 3rd most invested altcoin in crypto world. But most of exchange tokens are fall down for being useless (only use for discounting exchange fee) as well as after exchange get hacked. So what do you think about bnb in next 5years?
Is it really worth for long investment?  Will it increase like ether or become dump like others exchange coins?

In my opinion, BNB is very worthy of being a long-term investment, because BNB not only has an exchange project, but also has a blockchain project, then of course the project of exchange and blockchain from BNB are very popular, so it is certain that the price of BNB will definitely continue to increase and provide a high profits if you buy and hold BNB at this time, because I'm sure that BNB can make a new ATH price when the next bullrun comes.
I wouldn't be so sure about the longevity of bnb. If something happens to binance, bnb will become a useless project, of which there are so many now. First and foremost bnb is an exchange coin and completely under the control of that. If the exchange disappears then bnb will go to the dump.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: October 04, 2023, 08:41:22 AM
I think this main reason for bearish market conditions because from long time about upto 2 year no have any good performance crypto market and atill now not good conditions but we can expected about crypto market and NFTs market both are bullish very soon as possible and we are waiting for bull sessions than start play with crypto & Nfts lovers.
NFT it was just hype with people buying images for a lot of money. Now it is worthless and the capitalisation of all NFTs is constantly falling. I think that such success and hype with NFT will not happen again. When the bull market comes, new trends will appear. I don't remember hype ICO or IEO to happen again.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 03, 2023, 06:10:41 PM
Currently, we are having two matches in progress with Salzburg hosting Real Sociedad and in other match Union Berlin hosting Braga both are having good entertainment with Salzburg is trailing by 0 - 2 against Real Sociedad which is in good touch after holding Inter Milan in their first game of this campaign at home now having good aggressive approach which helps them for leading this match at half-time look like they will increase their tally of matches with their good attack.

In second match Union Berlin is leading by 2 - 1 against Braga with both are doing good, but Union is looking much better in quality Braga looks like completely out of this competition after losing first game against Napoli at home now they are heading for the second defeat of this season.
So far, Union Berlin and Braga have scored two goals each, but I think that with a game like this there will definitely be more goals. Interestingly, Real Sociedad managed to score two goals against Salzburg and the hosts can't do anything in return. Inter have good competition in the group and it is hard to say which clubs will take the first two places.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 03, 2023, 04:26:15 PM
Ten Haag's Man UTD will be facing off with Galatasaray this night in what will be the second game of this season's champions league and I'm especially interested in how Man UTD will cope against a team who came from behind to draw their first game. I saw the game and at a point when Copenhagen scored the second goal in the 58 mins, I was sure they have lost the game but they didn't lose hope and still continued to press the visitors defense till they broke through and scored  their first goal in the 86' minutes  and the second game not too long after
Now we all know that Man UTD is struggling badly and the team looks unbalanced, I have a strong hunch they will find it difficult to break past Galatasaray defense. I'd have to give it to them on their performance at Bayern Munich in their first game because it only takes determination to come back from four goals down to net three. Maybe this will help Man UTD as they play hosts to Galatasaray tonight?
I think it's hard to evaluate this game just based on the previous matches of both clubs. Manchester United have not played well in recent games, but the English league is much more difficult than the Turkish league. Today Manchester United will play at Old Trafford and they will have a big support. I think Galatasaray will not be easy in this game.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: October 03, 2023, 03:25:51 PM
As an investor, i did a lots of invest in altcoins. Those were suppose to be good that time with having good hype, good team and community. But with having all of thats, most of altcoins scam after a time! I wonder for some altcoins, they were suppose not to be go but they scammed without any reason! And hundreds of altcoins are in my wallet, which are turn into dead shitcoin now.

Aside from a strong technical analysis, there is one important metric that you need to consider: the community. Shitcoin projects that manage to produce significant returns are fueled by the underlying community. This means supporters, celebrities, and influencers who pump up the value
I guess community can't always be a good criterion to analyse. Yes, many famous people advertised the scam, but it was just hype. But you should understand that they pay money for advertising and no one forces you to buy such coins. After all, the profit from it only for the creators, not for you. Probably the main criterion will be the development and availability of developers, which can be viewed on github.
