Champions League Qualifications - Finals Round 2.

Dinamo Zagreb hosting Young Boys tonight. I think Dinamo are a great home team and will most likely make it to the CL group stage. Dinamo to win in regulation @ 2.20 odds.

Ajax are visiting Dinamo Kyiv after winning 3-1 in the Netherlands in the first leg. I am expecting another high-scoring match. BTTS & over 2.5 goals.

Last match of the day is AEK - MOL. I like BTTS and FT draw in that game. The Greek team is leading 2-1 after the first leg. I think it will be a tight match without lots of goals probably 1-1 FT.

Cheers!

Oh man what a disastrous night that was. Why did Jose Mourinho enter the pitch and start clapping and congratulating his players and the fans was a completely mystery to me. I was like "What the heck is this guy doing? Has he gone mad?" And Ed Woodward was in the stands and he didn't looked amused at all. Mourinho should get his stuff together or at least gracefully make his exit before another embarrassing blunder gets him sacked this time for real.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 27, 2018, 07:54:59 PM
And Lukaku wasted a huge opportunity to put United ahead... Mourinho was so disappointed at that open goal miss that I could almost see him double-facepalming at the sideline lol  Roll Eyes I think we will see some goals in the 2nd half as both defences are flimsy and defenders mistakes are mounting up. Did anyone else bet on the 0-0 HT?  Cheesy
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: August 27, 2018, 07:24:06 PM
Chasing losses is very dangerous and can blow up your bankroll in no time. It's very easy to get carried away with reckless gambling which can multiply the initial loss manyfold or even destroy your entire bankroll without you even noticing it as you are too busy trying to recover that lost $100... Been there and seen that many times. Bankroll management and damage control are of utmost importance as well as suppressing one's emotions.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember your first sports bet? on: August 27, 2018, 07:05:24 PM
I started betting long before Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin  Cheesy I think my journey began on the Betfair exchange. I was green and inexperienced and didn't know what I was doing. If I remember correctly I got lucky a couple of times and got that false sense of complacency which led to some disastrous miscalls that wiped me out. I am not completely sure about my first ever bet though - it was either football or ice hockey. Nevertheless I learned some hard lessons that shaped me as the bettor I am today.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 27, 2018, 06:45:01 PM
Hmmm Lukaku, Pogba and Lingard for United at the front, not too convincing an attack if you ask me. Unless Lukaku explodes in the first half or Tottenham makes a grave mistake or something crazy happens, I think the first half is gonna be slow and possibly a 0-0 draw at half-time considering Mourinho tactics. I am gonna bet my favorite BTTS @ 1.75 though. Cheers and happy watching everyone.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why martingale is PURE SHIT. on: August 27, 2018, 06:31:37 PM
First off I am not a proponent of Martignale in the slightest, but I have to admit I have heard stories about gamblers using Martingale to bet on roulette in brick-and-mortar casinos and consistently winning. Now I don't visit casinos much so I can't vouch for those, however I have tried running Martingale with really low stakes on crypto dice sites and always ended up getting busto after a ridiculously long losing streak. Yeah these things do happen a lot  and you are not immune to them not happening to you. Martingale is too much risk for minimal gain and I say it's not worth it. I wouldn't risk running my bankroll into the ground for laughable profit.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 26, 2018, 07:07:04 PM
Yeah Watford are surprisingly(or not?!) super high-flying at the moment and they kinda reminded me of Leicester City amazing feat a few seasons back. I don't seriously think that Watford have any chances of winning the title but still wouldn't that be incredible?  Grin I would love any champion but City  Roll Eyes

Watford - Crystal Palace BTTS @ 1.80
Fulham - Burnley BTTS @ 1.95
Newcastle - Chelsea BTTS @ 1.80

Also Newcastle - Chelsea FT Draw @ 4

I am thinking Newcastle will make Chelsea drop some points today and have a feeling the match might end in a draw so gonna try my luck with that one. Cheers!

I wouldn't back that personally. Watford vs Crystal Palace and Fulham vs Burnley could both be bore draws with no goals. Might be money in the draw on Newcastle vs Chelsea but I'd still back Chelsea here. Maybe 0-1 or 1-2.

Boom, boom and boom! 3 out of 4 not too shabby right?  Grin Almost got a perfect score this evening had it not been for that unlucky last minute own goal by Yedlin. Man I love betting on goals it's just so much easier than trying to guess the winners  Wink And it's the Premier League - the most exciting championship in the world we shouldn't be expecting boring draws  Smiley
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Lost Coins and Its Contribution on: August 26, 2018, 01:00:01 PM
I am not sure if the lost coins will remain lost forever by the way. Current computer machines might not be up to the task of breaking Bitcoin's cryptographic security, but future high-powered quantum computers might be able to recover long-lost wallets with lots of coins on them or  God forbid, even be used to brute force one's way into other people's wallets. Now this might sound like something from a sci-fi movie, but in the distant future Bitcoin might get compromised. Nothing is future-proof.

392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Wallet Keys and Passwords should be known to you and you alone. Yes! But... on: August 26, 2018, 09:55:37 AM
Well I prefer to keep my Bitcoin stash private. If I feel like I am about to kick the bucket I will surely pass my private keys to the closest trusted relative I have. It's not like I am Scrooge McDuck sitting on a treasure trove so if I die unexpectedly it's not going to be such a huge monetary loss for my family. But I am definitely not going to trust an attorney with my Bitcoin wallet. If it's gone forever so be it.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: California may allow campaigners to accept digital currency donations on: August 26, 2018, 08:34:09 AM
Hmmm wouldn't accepting digital currency donations allow campaigners to embezzle funds more easily? Like one could possibly lie about the total amount of donations and just get some coins out of the pot and run them through a mixer or something. I think there will be a lot of misappropriation of money going on in such a scenario.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Really Causing Environmental Damage? Maybe not that much... on: August 26, 2018, 08:19:29 AM
I think Iceland is the leading country when it comes to environmentally friendly crypto mining on an industrial scale. Here is an excerpt from a very informative article:

Quote
The island nation is the first to use more electricity on mining cryptocurriencies than on its households – thanks in part to its magma-fuelled power plants. But the news from Iceland is the first time cryptocurrency mining within one nation has overtaken productive uses of electricity. Why is Iceland so popular? The answer is simple: location, location and volcanoes. Volcanoes provide Iceland with a cheap and abundant form of renewable energy. Geothermal and hydroelectric plants abound on the island, driving down the wholesale cost of power, which lets bitcoin miners make higher profits as they run their computers 24/7, 365 days a year.

Iceland has a naturally cold climate and a lot of renewable energy sources which make this little country a sought-after destination for crypto mining companies.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Writers Predict Fiat Dollar Will Collapse and Rise Crypto on: August 25, 2018, 04:51:58 PM
Financial writers who write fiction haha Grin These trending predictions by 'financial experts' are dime a dozen nowadays and don't hold true whatsoever. Bitcoin is the last thing to ever succeed the banking system as it's very easy to pull the plug on any crypto. Do you think the world leaders will let commoners have financial freedom in some magical Internet money? So much wishful thinking  Roll Eyes
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 25, 2018, 02:59:59 PM
Speaking about defences, I am watching Arsenal - West Ham at the moment, and the Gunners are absolutely awful on defence. Also, the linesmen made some glaring mistakes stopping a goal scoring attack by Arnautovic for offside. From what I saw in the video replay there was no offside. I think the Premier League should implement VAR for next season Roll Eyes And West Ham should have been in the lead already.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 25, 2018, 01:33:42 PM
I think United players still want to play under Mourinho otherwise they would have already covertly boycotted the manager and failed on purpose like Leicester City players did to Claudio Ranieri and got him sacked. I reckon it hasn't gotten to the boiling point yet where the board would be massively disappointed in Mourinho but it's slowly getting there lol. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Mourinho is probably the most respected by the players manager United have had since Ferguson.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The day will surely come Banks soon accept Bitcoin on: August 25, 2018, 12:37:06 PM
Bitcoin will not be accepted directly by banks for a sheer amount of reasons. Believing so is nothing more than a pipe dream. There are so many convenient ways to exchange crypto for fiat nowadays around the world without the need for a traditional bank. As a matter of fact, banks even frown upon transactions coming from or going to crypto exchanges so the possibility for them accepting Bitcoin naturally is close to zero.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site access and italian regulations on: August 25, 2018, 12:23:06 PM
If I've understood correct, there are sites less worried about jurisdictions, but as soon as the italian govt will shut down the access, these sites won't be interested in coming back except with the use of a VPN

You could use a VPN to circumvent the ISP block, but in the rare event that any of these crypto sites ask for your ID and find out you are based in a country on the ban list your account might get closed. As for the Italian players being blocked, I guess some sites just don't want any legal troubles and it's easier for them to stop the whole traffic from a given country.
