ok, so trading will continue as usual at https://bter.com/trade/XCR_BTC ? the only thing that really changes at 00:00 is that there will be a wallet and ability to withdraw XCR ? Indeed, trading will be as usual. As per my previous post, we wait for Bter to confirm the integration, so we could provide them with mainnet version and send them the genesis portion. They almost done, and we expect the confirmation tomorrow (Sunday). We will post once the mainnet is live and the Crypti nodes (with web wallet) can be downloaded. |

can they continue to be traded as this pair??: https://bter.com/trade/XCR_BTCor do we need to do any sort of swap / exchange? my understanding is that the current pair is using pre-coins. It will be the same, as the pre-coins are just a representation of real Cryptis that will be held in Bter account. Once you withdraw them, Bter will send you real Crypti to your account. In effect, nothing will change for the buyers, just there will be an ability to withdraw and deposit Cryptis. |

They will be equal to the real Cryptis that Bter will hold, and you will be able to withdraw them to your own Crypti account anytime. |

Important update
We are still looking to Bter confirmation that integration is complete, before we will switch them to mainnet version and distribute the genesis block to their mainnet address.
According to latest news from them, we will get this confirmation tomorrow (Sunday).
We will post once the mainnet is live and the Crypti nodes (with web wallet) can be downloaded.

on the op, i can a green button "PRESS TO STAR", i cant see this on mine, does it come after conformation of a transaction, or their is some thing else to be done?
The forging feature changed a bit, and is set now at the config file, to ensure Crypti node starts forging immediately once launched (hence no need to start it from the web wallet anymore). This will be explained in the installation docs that we will publish soon. |

In nutshell, the transactions sent to merchants who were verified via Proof of Identity, will be counted in the formula used to determine who forges the block and gets the forging fees. |

There's a new movement in Crypto (CoinsSource, PoD) where traders are beginning to trust coins who have verified developers. Transparency has become key to success now days, are the developers (and team) willing to drop their username pseudo-names and provide a true identification? This will have the largest impact on the coin in the short and long haul. There is huge ambitions in this project and what Crypti is trying to achieve cannot be done without verified developers. The age of hiding behind usernames is closing to an end.
PoD would be a great thing to do.. the earlier you start on the process the better if you decide to do it... I know many investors like this done through a third party like CoinSource.. We are in contact with CoinSource regarding this verification (I spoke to tk808 already), will perform this after the launch. |

Well, low volume and only one exchange, this calls for trouble. Can you expect a big increase in demand on Bter after network launch? I don't think so. People who use bter have already made their purchases. And many potential dumpers are still waiting for the launch with high expectations.
We do not intend to stop on a single exchange, and currently discussing the integration with several more. We put a lot of effort to make sure the integration will be as simple as possible, and Bter has already commented on how easy it goes. That said, we do looking to do some post-launch run-time on Bter to ensure all things are working smoothly (also because Bter will receive the majority of the genesis block), and then proceed to other integrations. |

Has it been announced if any other exchanges will host this besides Bter on the 10th?
I recall seeing Polo mentioned as a possibility. The devs should keep in mind that Polo will be running a new IPO coin on the 10th (I think) so it may not be the best idea to release Crypti on that exchange the same exact day.
We will integrate with only Bter at the launch date, this in order to distribute the genesis block and allow some actual deposits and withdrawals run. Other exchanges will be integrated onwards. |

One question about the cross-platform installer. Is it a one-click installer or just a software container like QT?
The idea is to use Boot2Docker installer, so a lightweight VM with the latest version of Crypti could be easily installed and upgraded in future: http://docs.docker.com/installation/windows/It will be also multi-platform as the result. Firstly, are you referring to the logarithmic scale when you say 'log based function', because if so I don't really understand how this is applied and if not I don't have a clue what you mean. How does this stop a large transaction automatically winning, and if its not about the size of the transaction then what is it which determines who has the highest weight?
Secondly, does 'the sum of the two factors' mean the sum of node uptime and purchases - so you have to be both running a node and making purchases to get a good chance of creating a block?
Edit: Thirdly - do all transactions count or just purchases at verified merchants?
Bitseed will answer on 1st. You don't have to both run a node and make purchase, although it indeed may increase your chances to forge a block, as you strengthen the network both via additional distribution nodes, and via actually using the network with merchant transactions. That said, if you only running nodes, or only purchase, you will also have a chance to forge a block. For PoPs (Proof of Purchase), only transactions to verified merchants count. |

It will be nice to have at start poloniex + very clear and simple discription how to setup node in order to "catch" blocks/rewards.
Today there are a lot of miners who ignore PoS coins, cause it's impossibale to mine them. And, for example, without huge stake in Qora or NXT it's very difficult to forge.
But Crypti's PoT/PoI change the count. It has financial sense to forge in Crypti. And more users ---> higher the price.
There are clear instructions already how install the node (Bter got them too). Turning the forging is as simple as accessing the web-wallet and enabling it by entering your secret phrase. We did a lot of thinking including running simulations, of how we can make PoS as distributed as possible, so both users running nodes and users spending Crypti, could have a fair chance to get the forging fee. Bitseed could elaborate more here. |
